Hello Netherlands, Germany, the USofA, and Russia and welcome to the blog...and a not so welcome return to that hoary ol' chestnut, the Institutionalised Pro-paedophile Corruption of the DeBelle Cover-up, officially titled an 'Inquiry', that itself just continues the gross manipulation of the Western Suburbs School Child Abuse Cover-up Case by serial Paedophile Protector Premier Jay Weatherill and the apparently Pro-paedophile Labor government.
A Brief History: of the DeBelle Inquiry is a text-book study in just how corrupt and unaccountable South Australian Parliament is, particularly when it comes to Covering-up Paedophilia...after the WSS After School Carer Mark Harvey was jailed for raping an 8 year old girl in his care, the Education Dept's senior officials, including Head of Schools Gary Costello (another St Martins Cover-up Complicitor) openly and repeatedly threatened the School Council (parents), the Principal, etc, with all the same standard manipulations that were used against us parents to cover-up the St Martins Abuse...
Gary Costello et al, told/threatened parents/school staff that if they talked they'd cock-up the case and/or they could be sued, etc, and that it had to be kept quiet to protect the family and other kids, etc, etc...throw it onto the parents and the school with multiple threats...when this Cover-up 'escaped' and hit the media, Labor immediately blamed the school and the parents, and then SAPol...(on the floor of Parliament mind you-Ed)...indeed...and then nobody knew anything about it and then but wait, hey, yes they did...and on up the chain it went, right into Premier Weatherill's office...and there, it magically disappeared, shazzam...
That Jolly Email: was sent by Mr Weatherill's Chief of Staff Mr Blewitt to 'somebody, but it's been deleted off my computer and I definitely can't remember who, but it definitely wasn't the Premier...honest'...(sorry? can't remember who he sent it to, but it definitely wasn't the one person he should have, his boss Jay Weatherill?...that just doesn't make sense-Ed)...exactly, it's all absolute balderdash, because even my Troglodytish
understanding of Computerings informs me that short of disintegrating
the piece of equipment, data is always retrievable...(not a word of a
lie, literally just talking now, 0940hrs, on ABC with SAPol about
'Sexting' and 'Child Porn' and
how computer/phone records are 100% retrievable because it's stored in
the devices in "Ones and Zeros")...
And that's why I don't understand why SAPol 'raided' my home and "seized" my laptop as "evidence", because, putting aside my own paranoia about such things, at least once a week I get someone warning me that my phones are probably tapped, my computer monitored, 'keep yourself safe', etc, and SAPol knows that I'm not going to say and/or do anything over the phone, in an email, etc, or Interweb search anything, etc, or even draft a letter, that I don't think isn't being watched and recorded elsewhere...(where paranoia becomes your friend, hilarious-Ed)...
(I Note: that SAPol's Anti-Corruption detectives knew whose blog it was and exactly where to find me, and took my laptop as part of "gathering evidence" to use against me for a crime they couldn't even describe or define and in nearly 2 months I've heard not one word...basically, they've come to my home to harass, intimidate and threaten me, steal my laptop, and trawl through it apparently hoping to find something to go me about...this is what I was saying about half-expecting to be grabbed and arrested for whatevs that's on my laptop that's been put/hacked there at some point in the past...
This of course could still happen, ie, 'we seized his laptop because of the blog stuff and instead found this'...and/or I'll get done for 'Resisting Arrest' whilst not resisting charges that don't exist and/or they won't tell me about...and all of the Fascism and gross abuses of power encapsulated by SAPol raiding my home with their completely Fascist, self-granted, go anywhere, take anything, whenevs, whatevs 'Search Warrant', it will all be conveniently ignored and/or justified in the stampede to just get me for something, just anything, because the issues I blog, my "accusations", cannot be contested, so I as the Whistleblower have to be Pariahtised.)
And last year there was an effort to 'promote' someone from the WSS (parent,
teacher?-sorry) who was blaming the school...this effort was lost in the
maelstrom of outrage that ensued, but has reared it's ugly head again
as that person, or someone similar, has been back in the media...it's
hard to tell if it's the same person because she was pixellated out in
some services but a woman was shown on another channel recently, people
do sound a bit different on radio, etc, but I think it's the same
person, again being used to push this blame agenda back on the school, it's staff, parents, and the School Council.
And now the Weatherill Labor government has introduced another raft of vacuous legislation, trumpetting about how this is tough on paedophiles and protects the kiddies and blah, blah, blah...laws stopping people on the 'Sex Offenders List from changing their names unless the Police Commissioner says so' mean very little when it comes to who isn't on that list to start with, eg, "text-book grooming paedophile" (FCPU) Lutheran teacher Glyn Dorling who wasn't even interviewed by SAPol about the gross abuses he committed against 7 year old children, let alone charged, let alone tried, let alone convicted, let alone put on a shreckin' Register that might stop him changing his name...teenagers 'Sexting' each other will end up on the Register but Glyn Dorling won't.
(And what about that teacher from Naracoorte High School who was busted accessing hard-core porn on a student's computer/account, and blamed the student, etc, then was moved to Reynella East High in Adelaide, where he was running IT, and was busted again...repeatedly busted, not charged, not even sacked, moved to office duties still within the Education Dept...and the Department/Labor tried to pay the student to keep silent, etc, etc...absolute corruption from an absolutely corrupt State-Ed)...indeed...and that teacher's not on any shreckin' Register...
I fully support any genuine measures to protect children, but all I see coming from the Labor Party is peripheral tinkering and associated grandstanding...and still waiting for the Children's Commissioner, Recommendation no 1 from the Layton Report as handed down in 2003...still waiting...
Right now (ABC Radio News 1000hrs) Labor Attorney General John Rau stating that the 8 year sentence (with only 3years-3months non-parole) is "too light...but I haven't read the judgement yet", but that he trusts Director of Public Prosecutions Adam Kimber to take the appropriate action within the 21 days allowed...this is what I was referring to yesterday about a ludicrously inadequate sentence being handed to Mark Harvey (WSS) either by a genuinely dysfunctional and/or apparently paedophile-sympathetic Magistrate, or as a stunt to allow Labor to grandstand about it...more tomorrow.
Alleged Independent, Member for Frome Geoff Brock, was in the South East last week and I heard him interviewed on ABC Local Radio yet again motor-mouthing his way through a volume of vacuous rhetoric about 'working with stakeholders', 'I've got a Committee', 'I've got extra funding for the Regions', 'I'm all about the Regions me', etc, etc...90 seconds of pissing his particular brand of self-justification in my ear, all the whilst bragging about the pittance that Regional SA will supposedly get...(but won't-Ed)...indeed...it's all just words, numbers that mean nought about money that don't exist.

Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews has again been targetting recipients of the Disability Support Pension, stating that "episodic" DSP recipients can be reviewed, describing "the pillars of Mr McClure's Report" as not pushing people off welfare because 'the best welfare is work'...when asked if new efficiencies would mean increases to the dole/ DSP, Kev said no, but there would be a new system accommodating medium term DSP Recipients, etc, as part of a tiered payment scheme based on age...(what?-Ed)...gord knows, sounds like dumping people back onto NewStart Allowance (the dole).
Kevin reckons most NewStart users are on it for a short time, 6mths, and he apparently loves the Aotearoa (NZ) model...but Welfare advocates are concerned that the National Disability Insurance Scheme remain about 'extra care, not cost of living payments'...there are also concerns that the '6 wk consultation process' is too short given that the Report itself was due before Easter but only just delivered, but Kevin encouraged everyone to "engage in the conversation"...good luck with that...

Went past the Rail Lands on Saturday and there was a tennis court size pool of water right in the middle of the lawned Eastern end, draining off into an equally large elongated pool right at the back of the buildings on Margaret St, water was sheeting off the Northern side across the footpath in 1/2 dozen places, and across
Railway Tce, and there was a huge pool of water right by the platform, right where they're supposedly going to put pavers...it looks like there's been exactly Zero surveying to get proper levels, it's a disgraceful disaster...

More DeBelle Debacle Deceits From Labor
Hello Taiwan, Czech Republic, Poland, and Ukraine and welcome to the blog...I really was going to do 2 posts yesterday, but by the time I'd finished watching our massively man-scaped Premier Ray-Jay Weatherill (ABC TV?) shrilly whinging about the Federal Liberals, whilst spewing carefully rehearsed indignation in defense of the traitorous Martin Hamilton Smith, well I'd just about had enough, so instead I didn't...(ahh, fair enough-Ed)...
Rather angry post today because I'm just furious about the language that continues to be used to vilify people like myself on the Disability Support Pension and/or other Support Payments, particularly whilst Corporate Criminals like the Commonwealth Bank and the Australian Securities and Investment Commission just keep on getting their bonuses, etc, Liberal Arthur Sinodinos walks away unsanctioned for a $20m corrupt deal re Australian Water Holdings, etc, etc, etc...and I'm the burden on my society...bollocks...
Just In Review: the South Australian Electoral system is so corrupted that Labor continuously wins Elections on sub-majority numbers, and when that's not enough they bribe alleged Independents, eg, Rory McEwen and Geoff Brock, and/or other apparently moralless, selfish, and corrupt/corruptible people like the National Party's Karlene Maywald (2002) and Liberal Martin Hamilton Smith (2014)...at the March 2014 election it was 47/53 to Liberals on Two Party Preferred, but 23 Labor seats to 22 Liberal with 2 alleged Independents, one of whom immediately jumped to Labor (Geoff Brock) and the other (Bob Such) went on Sick Leave without supporting anyone...
Both of those 'Independent Seats' are recognised as Conservative (Liberal) but ended up supporting yet another Labor minority government...(but Bob Such's seat wa...-Ed)...hang on, I was going to explain, one Seat directly to Labor and one unaccounted therefore cementing that position...(fair enough-Ed)...and Geoff Brock is a Labor stooge supported into government by Labor in the first place...(also fair enough-Ed)...not fair enough, simply true.
Never forget that Marty was the 4th Liberal that Labor tried to bribe across to sure up their numbers in an otherwise hung parliament...and Bob Such has just disappeared again with further 'leave' granted and without announcing whom he supports re forming government, meaning that his electorate didn't have a say in who formed government after the March 2014 state election and is currently unrepresented at all...how is it appropriate?...it's a dog's breakfast...
Liberal Ian Evans, himself approached by Labor initially, refused that offer and has instead announced that he'll retire soonish to allow the Libs to reform for the 2018 election...whatevs...to listen to Weatherill bleating about what's happening with disunity in the Liberals, retirements, etc, is just laughable...let's have a look at Labor's Patrick Conlon, 'Part-time Pat', who semi-retired whilst an elected Member of Parliament to go work as a lawyer/consultant...(that's right...and of course Rory McEwen identified Pat Conlon as being the Paedophile Politician 'Terry'-Ed)...indeed Rory did...
And in 2011 the Rann/Weatherill Labor government immediately dumped their then Acting Police Minister Bernard Finnigan when he was arrested on 2 dozen Child Pornography charges (April 2011?), by the SAPol he was Minister of...dumped him out of the Labor Party whilst screaming "innocent until proven guilty" and Bernard continues to just sit there in the Legislative Council, receiving a full parliamentary income, superannuation, etc, whilst his lawyers and the Courts conspire to do everything they can to deliberately cock-up the case by running it in and out of different jurisdictions, repeatedly changing the charges, etc.
Meanwhilst, the Weatherill Labor government is yet again manoeuvring to try and use the abuses it originally Covered-up at the 'Western Suburbs School' to give itself credibility where none has ever existed and none ever will...it is my personal experience that the SA Labor Party is effectively a Pro-Paedophile Criminal Organisation and Premier Jay Weatherill is a critical, repeat player in the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up...as much as disgraced former Education Minister Grace Portolesi was incompetent, she was an incompetent sacrificed to cover-up and protect Jay Weatherill from his clearly definable role in the WSS Cover-up.
Yesterday he trotted out the same ol' vacuous rhetoric re the DeBelle Inquiry, namely that everything was done 'according to DeBelle' re the latest charges against the WSS worker already jailed for raping an 8 year old...that man has received a hugely trivial sentence and however you try to argue it, it's a sickening disgrace, whether it's a genuine sentence from a borderline insane Magistrate, or it's a set-up for Labor to challenge so they can then hold forth about what great work they're doing protecting the kiddies...and John Rau is already quietly positioning himself in that space, and the Liberal's are furiously tut-tutting like enraged pigeons, and it's all bollocks because they're all on exactly the same page...
But Jay-baby always likes to finish with a joke, and yesterday's was a doozy...apoplectically foaming at the gob, JJ cut crook about what a rabble the Liberals are because 1 is retiring, and 1 is a traitorous, selfish coward who clearly belongs in Labor with the rest of the corrupt scumbags...(but Jay's just the powerless front-man from the Left Faction, everyone knows the Right is running the Labor Party but that they're individually so unpalatable with the electorate that they need someone else to be the front man-Ed)...indeed.
The faux-fight over the leadership between Weatherill and the Right's Don Farrell not long before the March 2014 election, was shown for the confected farce that it was when John Gazzola (Left) got the arse from the President's position in the Legislative Council and was replaced by that flouncing human beanbag Russell Wortley (Right) and Gazzer went nut-sack crazy at Rusty in the media, calling him a parasite...(hey, no fair, we resent that remark-PCPPC)...the PCPPC?...(the Planet's Collective Parasite Population Collective-PCPPC)...fair enough...
And doesn't Don Farrell just make ya' skin crawl?...(not as much as Mike Rann or Michael Atkinson, but still, there's something distinctly 'unattached' about Mr Farrell...I guess it's what you'd expect from the real leader of a Party so wholly committed to keeping children vulnerable to abuse-Ed)...indeed, it's what the Labor Party is...and where are the shreckin' Liberals? wallowing about on the cross benches apparently disinterested in governing, and more than happy to be absolutely complicit in the St Martins Cover-up...
Best Opinion Money Can Buy: would be a harsh and potentially inaccurate critique of serial Labor apologist alleged Professor Clem MacIntyre of Adelaide University...1) I don't know whether he's paid by Labor, they got him his position, whether he's always been a rabid Labor man, whatevs, but his capacity to defend Labor policy and/or actions is inexhaustible...I have never ever heard him criticise Labor, the closest he goes to it is to say that 'of course the Liberals would say such-and-such'...
He is a clear example of the rank corruption within the ABC, given that Mr Clem's grossly biased Labor apologising is just about the only state opinion you'll ever hear...even the highly respected Dean Jaentsch (Flinders Uni) barely appears on the ABC lately...2) whatever his motivations/allegiances/whatevs, Clem MacIntyre's 'opinion' ain't worth squat, not diddly, not nuthin'...it's not insightful objective commentary, it's politically motivated dribble...
Same crap as on the grossly compromised ABC Local Radio, it's supposed to be an independent and objective observer/reporter, but all you get are these on-message infomercials, eg, the ABC Mt Gambier's clearly definable bias in support of Wind Turbines, eg, the morning where they ran several grossly inaccurate pro-Turbine interviews, but when I and several others rang in to correct the 'propaganda' refused to put us to air, instead reading out 10 second messages, only to then put 2 people to air anonymously to grossly slander those opposed to Turbine Fascism (my words/opinion) with specific allegations of corruption and false motivation, etc, ...

Just Stuff About Just Being And Being Just
Yo' homies and welcome to the blog...apologies for no post yesterday but no Interweb again....and again I'd be more paranoid if others didn't have similar problems...and whilst I live on the outskirts of Mt Gambier, it ain't out in the boondocks, and I can see from my home what I understand is one of these new National Broadband Network towers, less than 5kms away...(one can only assume that is ain't switched on yet-Ed)...
Deadset, if it's raining and/or windy, and the youths are home from school, etc, say after about 1530hrs, I can't get a connection...whilst this is only fairly anecdotal evidence, it does appear that Interweb accessibility in Mt Gambier goes to crap if the weather's a bit iffy...so I'm just going to tidy this up and do proper post later...
FIFA Bites Back: by implementing it's tough new '3 Bites And You're Out' policy, almost proving it's not a corrupt toothless tiger, and so Uruguayan Chewie Suarez gets 4 Foe-Fangin' free months as a result of his recent epicurean expedition/exploration across the shoulder of Mont Chiellini...(nice...where he chowed down on a little Chiellini al Dente-Ed)...that occurred at 2.30 local time...(tooth hurty...classic-Ed)...
Renouncing My Pacifiscm*: for just a moment, just long enough to slap the purile little pricks who made the following comments. Unfortunately I don't know who exactly they were...comment 1) the other day on the Alan Jones radio show, was actually a series of comments by his guest (?) that started with an Australian that had gone to Syria and/or Iraq to participate in the current conflict, lurched to something about the Disability Support Pension, and then let loose about how all DSP 'Mental Health' recipients are faking...purely blinkered bigotted ignorance cobbling together entirely unrelated issues to justify opinion...
*Whilst I genuinely appreciate the 'instant feedback' of the other day, it's made me acutely aware of being very obvious about what's a joke and what's a threat, etc...it's fairly simple for me, I'm not threatening anyone, never have, never will...but on more than one occasion I've had other people say to me, "how is it that you haven't killed one of these pricks yet?"...(fair enough-Ed)...I'm just a man not a Saint and I don't believe in Saints either...it's why I do the self-deprecating stuff, 1) because it's true, and 2) I ain't no-one special, this is just how I am...
For example, when I was subjected to the Domestic Violence incident at the Lakes Plaza carpark back in March(?) and was left no choice but to intervene on behalf of a clearly terrified young woman, this is how it ran in my head...when the young man involved got out out of the car, I immediately thought 'mistake 1-never let them get out of the car, maintain dominant position with him still seated, should have gone across to the car before speaking'...
I've never done any sort of formal training in anything much, but the moment he threatened me, "I'll smash your f***in' head in", I heard nothing else and was all instinct, watching his hands, eyes, etc, subtly positioning myself closer to the railing where he'd have to cross to get to me, etc, etc...it was all a bit 'Bourne Conspiracy' for me who does not spend a lot of time in that mind-set, but ultimately it was just basic survival responses, responses that directed that I may have to hurt this person to stop them hurting me and/or others, eg, the young woman in the car...
This is a vastly different scenario to me choosing to stop and confront our charming former local Member Rory McEwen outside the Polling Booth back in February...I've covered both these incidents at length in previous posts...if they're not illustration enough of how I roll, I don't know what else to say...and while we're on Rory, it's been alleged to me that it's not just the seaweed that stinks out Kingston way when it comes to the $20+million Commercial Seaweed Harvest contract that was recently signed with a Chinese company, a deal apparently involving former Green Phone bankruptor Grant King and our mate Rory...
The 'Christian Cuddle' stuff is a very specific reference to what the Lutherans/St Martins School were saying to deny the abuses they knew had been committed against our 7 year old children by "text-book grooming paedophile" (Flinders Child Protection Unit-2002) teacher Glyn Dorling, that he was just giving the kids a 'Christian Cuddle'...and that I've had that flung in my face more than once...and that if I were to 'CC' someone like Rory McEwen I'd end up on multiple charges for sexual assault, assault, intimidation, deprivation of liberty, etc...
This is a clear explanation of what the realities were that the Lutherans, Rory, et al, knew they were/know they are covering-up...but I digress...
As rabidly Right-wing as he can be, I force myself to listen to Alan Jones because on occasion he does stray into humanism and activism, eg, he is a vicious critic of the clearly corrupted Newman Liberal government in Queensland , where they've just retrospectively changed laws to benefit a major party donor, a Mr Wagner, seeking to operate his illegally constructed airport near Oakey Airbase, illegality that has been facilitated by the direct involvement of the local Mayor et al...Mr Newman's corruption is so absolute that this is what they'll do for their mate...the laws don't apply to start with, and change them to suit afterwards anyway...
(And isn't Mr Wagner also responsible for the murder of 10+ people in Grantham back in January 2011?-Ed)...wow, that's a big call, can you back it up?...(well apparently, the 'flash-flood' that destroyed Grantham was the result of a tailings dam collapsing upstream, sending a wall of contaminated water through Grantham, and that dam was illegally constructed, and that dam/mine belonged to Mr Wagner, whom promptly sold it-Ed)...but surely that would have been discovered during the exhaustive forensic processes that duly follow such a tragedy?
(Well you'd think, but Mr Newman's corruption is so absolute that the 'collapsed illegal tailings dam', belonging to his mate Mr Wagner, that caused the flash-flood through Grantham that killed 10+people, that 'dam' managed to not quite make it into any official reports and was duly ignored-Ed)...oh, how unfortunate, unless of course you're Mr Wagner or his mate Mr Newman.

The second comment was a Liberal Senator (?sorry), in Parliament, on Thursday 26th June approx 1600hrs Canberra time...this prick, mid rant against the Labor Party, made the extraordinary comment that '6 years ago we had a Sorry Day, well we need another Sorry Day for what the last Labor government have done'...(you're kidding me?-Ed)...wish I was...I don't know where to begin with just how offensive this statement is, other than sling some purile abuse again, whatta' prick...(what a disgrace-Ed)...indeed...
Incompetence, laziness, lack of investigative rigour...comments from a whistleblower about ASIC and the Commonwealth Bank...(more like the Robbinwealth Bank-Ed)...exactly, but I don't imagine they're any more corrupt than any other bank...but I can imagine that the vacuous threats of a Royal Commission will have senior CB executives laughing all the way to their massive bonuses...public exposure of what's already known with no repercussions, sounds like the Child Abuse Royal Commission.
I Try With My Little Eye: to spy some positives in the world and so genuine kudos to ABC Local Radio for their series on 'Crack Addiction' this week...unfortunately I've missed a fair bit of local radio this past couple of weeks due to appointments so I didn't hear a lot of it but it is important that these sort of 'unpleasant' issues are addressed, and from the bit I did hear, this series was objective and empathetic, not judgemental or voyeuristic...I might see if the rest is on their website...
Unfortunately, the ABC has also continued their practice of 'Dorothy Dixer' interviewing of politicians and public officials...recent classics include an interview with Mt Gambier Mayor Steve Perryman blathering on about how great Council's Financial Management is and some alleged surplus and an alleged Financial Plan, etc, and not one word from interviewer Stan Thompson about Council's outrageous Fiscal mismanagement, spawned of malfeasance as much as incompetence, that led to them doubling their own borrowing capacity.
I'm going to stop here and dump the last couple of half-finished paragraphs and move them to,

Some Heavily Sarcastic Closing Philosphising:...how can we ask/insist that our children grow up to be respectful and honest and give half a damn about other people?...firstly, we are clearly encumbering them with attitudes that will only hinder them in our current socio-political climate, another climate that the Liberal Party are committed to not changing...(nice-Ed)...but more importantly, we as parents are making ourselves look like complete idiots to our own children, telling our kids to behave in basically the opposite way to the daily examples they see being set by our illustrious leaders.

Sods Of Stuff And Random Nonsense
Hello Kalangadoo, Kybybolite, Kongorong, and Keith...welcome one and all here in the sunny South East where it is actually dark and wet at 0630hrs...whilst there has been some fairly wild weather about the place, there's been some really good, soaking rains and very little property damage...over-all, I love this sort of weather...I am a Water sign apparently, and as far as I'm concerned, the tempestuous precipitationings beats baking stifillage...(whaaa?-Ed)...I prefer it cool and rainy, rather than stinking hot...
It's a fantastic opportunity to engage in the very grounding indulgence of being cold and wet, eg, from standing in one's garden in the rain, then embracing the luxury of stepping inside one's lovely little house where a roast is filling the air with garlic and thyme, then hopping through a steaming-hot shower and into a clean, dry change of clothes...and then a nice cuppa and maybe a bite to eat...and feeding the dog, then playing X-box for 1/2 hr while the laundry's on, before hopping in one's car to go get groceries from one of the several well-stocked supermarkets in town, etc, etc, etc...
The other day I took my version of a holiday and went down to Pt Macdonnell to check out the storm surf...amazing...of course, if you don't have a car in Mt Gambier you're pretty much rooted...it is absolutely bloody disgraceful the money that the state Labor government and the Mt Gambier District Council just fritter away on the most ludicrous projects, whilst Public Transport in Mt Gambier is such a sub-standard dog's breakfast...(and it's purely a question of funding, because the service providers here in Mt Gambier do a fantastic job with the pitiful funding they're given-Ed)...indeed...oh, and it gets better...
Sodden Costly Sudden Sods:...come past the Rail Lands with me and see where Council has invested $100,000+ in a Seagrass Aquaculture Project ...(sorry what?-Ed)...where Council literally rolled out turf on the Eastern end of the Rail Lands...(costing $100,000+, as much as $200k, I've heard several different claims re how much that much rolled turf would cost-Ed)...yeah, me too, well it was well under water after the recent heavy rains because it's been graded like a grassy bowl...where there should be a knoll to drain there's a bowl to gather...whatalottacockup...
It wasn't as inundated today but surface water was still clearly visible, and with persistent heavy rains forecast that piece of ground will be unusable for weeks to come if not the rest of Winter...every year...it's an absolute joke with no punchline, Council has poured $4m+ into that site and they've built a bloody swamp with bloody Palm Trees...(orrr, the bloody palm trees, it gets better and better...they've got some of those up now and don't they just look ludicrously incongruous...straight lines of palm trees...oh my god-Ed)...I know, I know.
(Am I being cynically conspirital in wondering if they haven't chosen palms because they can be planted immediately to make it look like Council's doing something, and then easily moved out of the way when Council's plans for the Retail Expansion of the Lakes Plaza, the RLRA, goes ahead?-Ed)...a little perhaps, but I don't blame you...looking at the $10m Parkland Concept Plans bollockness from November 2011 it shows palm trees leading up to that building/structure where Council actually wants shopping centre...no need to shift them...
Bike Lanes:...(oh my god, the bloody bike lanes, what a debacle...those latest sections of bike lane on the already 'laned' Crouch St Nth are not going to protect anyone, they're going to get someone killed-Ed)...indeed, the lanes stop at the Crouch St/North Tce intersection, providing no 'sanctuary' where the traffic is heaviest, then suddenly start again just over the rise, meaning you drive over the hill where it says 'lane ending' only to be suddenly driving in a bike lane and having to kink-swerve out to your right...(in Oz we drive on the left side, steering wheel on the right, etc-Ed))...
Now that I know it's there, it's going to be somewhat less dangerous for me personally, and I genuinely hope to be wrong, but it's a matter of time before those stupid lines actually cause a bad accident...(the lanes just stop again at the very dangerous 60kph Jubilee Hwy, arguably the most dangerous intersection in Mt Gambier after the Penola Rd/Wireless Rd intersection-Ed)...exactly, it's bloody ludicrous...
It's the same as the insanely pointless bike-lanes along Penola Rd with the 'Killing Zone' 2m wide painted island thingy up the middle...the whole project is a design catastrophe that looks like it has been conceived and constructed to cause maximum inconvenience and confusion...the only way it could be worse, is if they were full-time lanes...(doooode shut up, don't give them any ideas-Ed)...it is just ridiculous to put a 2m painted island in the middle of the road and call it a 'shared zone' that people can drive on whilst pedestrians are encouraged to use it.
It is true that I am a 'wide-berther' when it comes to parked cars because years of working as a Courier in Adelaide and Mt Gambier and having people repeatedly just fling open their doors and get out, etc, has taught me to be very cautious...fair enough...however, the other day I was driving on Penola Rd and there was a large four-wheel drive with larger caravan parked on one side, and a smallish refrigerated delivery van directly opposite...every single car going through, in either direction, was driving along a foot or more onto the painted island...

Yes, Labor are clearly just not wanting to spend the money on Penola Rd lights, and yes, it probably was the pedestrian fatality at Andami last year that has 'justified' this crossing...however, I completely reject as entirely inappropriate, comments/criticisms that the crossing got priority because of the family links to the Labor Party of the person killed...not appropriate...
But for the love of baby cheeses, put a bloody Round-about at the Penola/Wireless Rds intersection, exact same as Penola/Jubilee Hwy where if you're in the right lane you have to turn right, make it 30kph through there, coupla' pedestrian crossings either side, sorted...it really is that simple.
Privatisation Of Public Health: the new but 100 bed smaller Royal Adelaide Hospital is pure greed from the Labor Party, little more than Criminal Organisation in South Australia, as they Privatise the SA Health System by entering into a Profit Guarantee contract with the private developers, and push the whole project right into the middle of the Adelaide Rail Yards, right under the Adelaide Airport flight path, right on one of the busiest intersections in the city, with no visible plan for traffic management, etc, etc, to free up the current site for luxury apartments for each other, overlooking the iconic Botanical Gardens...

It's a fantastic opportunity to engage in the very grounding indulgence of being cold and wet, eg, from standing in one's garden in the rain, then embracing the luxury of stepping inside one's lovely little house where a roast is filling the air with garlic and thyme, then hopping through a steaming-hot shower and into a clean, dry change of clothes...and then a nice cuppa and maybe a bite to eat...and feeding the dog, then playing X-box for 1/2 hr while the laundry's on, before hopping in one's car to go get groceries from one of the several well-stocked supermarkets in town, etc, etc, etc...
The other day I took my version of a holiday and went down to Pt Macdonnell to check out the storm surf...amazing...of course, if you don't have a car in Mt Gambier you're pretty much rooted...it is absolutely bloody disgraceful the money that the state Labor government and the Mt Gambier District Council just fritter away on the most ludicrous projects, whilst Public Transport in Mt Gambier is such a sub-standard dog's breakfast...(and it's purely a question of funding, because the service providers here in Mt Gambier do a fantastic job with the pitiful funding they're given-Ed)...indeed...oh, and it gets better...
Sodden Costly Sudden Sods:...come past the Rail Lands with me and see where Council has invested $100,000+ in a Seagrass Aquaculture Project ...(sorry what?-Ed)...where Council literally rolled out turf on the Eastern end of the Rail Lands...(costing $100,000+, as much as $200k, I've heard several different claims re how much that much rolled turf would cost-Ed)...yeah, me too, well it was well under water after the recent heavy rains because it's been graded like a grassy bowl...where there should be a knoll to drain there's a bowl to gather...whatalottacockup...
It wasn't as inundated today but surface water was still clearly visible, and with persistent heavy rains forecast that piece of ground will be unusable for weeks to come if not the rest of Winter...every year...it's an absolute joke with no punchline, Council has poured $4m+ into that site and they've built a bloody swamp with bloody Palm Trees...(orrr, the bloody palm trees, it gets better and better...they've got some of those up now and don't they just look ludicrously incongruous...straight lines of palm trees...oh my god-Ed)...I know, I know.
(Am I being cynically conspirital in wondering if they haven't chosen palms because they can be planted immediately to make it look like Council's doing something, and then easily moved out of the way when Council's plans for the Retail Expansion of the Lakes Plaza, the RLRA, goes ahead?-Ed)...a little perhaps, but I don't blame you...looking at the $10m Parkland Concept Plans bollockness from November 2011 it shows palm trees leading up to that building/structure where Council actually wants shopping centre...no need to shift them...
Bike Lanes:...(oh my god, the bloody bike lanes, what a debacle...those latest sections of bike lane on the already 'laned' Crouch St Nth are not going to protect anyone, they're going to get someone killed-Ed)...indeed, the lanes stop at the Crouch St/North Tce intersection, providing no 'sanctuary' where the traffic is heaviest, then suddenly start again just over the rise, meaning you drive over the hill where it says 'lane ending' only to be suddenly driving in a bike lane and having to kink-swerve out to your right...(in Oz we drive on the left side, steering wheel on the right, etc-Ed))...
Now that I know it's there, it's going to be somewhat less dangerous for me personally, and I genuinely hope to be wrong, but it's a matter of time before those stupid lines actually cause a bad accident...(the lanes just stop again at the very dangerous 60kph Jubilee Hwy, arguably the most dangerous intersection in Mt Gambier after the Penola Rd/Wireless Rd intersection-Ed)...exactly, it's bloody ludicrous...
It's the same as the insanely pointless bike-lanes along Penola Rd with the 'Killing Zone' 2m wide painted island thingy up the middle...the whole project is a design catastrophe that looks like it has been conceived and constructed to cause maximum inconvenience and confusion...the only way it could be worse, is if they were full-time lanes...(doooode shut up, don't give them any ideas-Ed)...it is just ridiculous to put a 2m painted island in the middle of the road and call it a 'shared zone' that people can drive on whilst pedestrians are encouraged to use it.
It is true that I am a 'wide-berther' when it comes to parked cars because years of working as a Courier in Adelaide and Mt Gambier and having people repeatedly just fling open their doors and get out, etc, has taught me to be very cautious...fair enough...however, the other day I was driving on Penola Rd and there was a large four-wheel drive with larger caravan parked on one side, and a smallish refrigerated delivery van directly opposite...every single car going through, in either direction, was driving along a foot or more onto the painted island...

Shaving For A Raidy Day
Howdy Russia, Germany, United Kingdom, and Denmark...yo' y'all and welcome to the blog...just short post due to Interweb dropping out...apparently a few people were having Interweb problems around town today...I'd be more paranoid about the problems I keep having, but clearly I ain't Robinson Crusoe.
It's the same with the gross mishandling of my health issues in Mt Gambier...and whilst I will be pursuing the clear issues of political bias and bigotry that have clearly encroached upon my personal treatment re my knee, resulting in what can only be described as gross malfeasance, overall it's just one disaster story after another...patient after patient, with only the occasional tale of triumph, to the extent that there's no particularly spectacular or individually biased aspect to the failures I've experienced...please review previous posts re my experiences with the Health System in Mt Gambier.
I have been exercising my Socialistic Solidarity by not watching the Soccer (Football) World Cup and it's not difficult, irresponsible, or inappropriate to make a direct comparison between what has been happening in Brazil and here in Sow Straya (South Australia) because Labor are dismantling Regional SA, axing it's public service jobs, Social Support programs, etc, because of an alleged lack of funds, yet miraculously they have $700million to flatten the Adelaide Oval and then rebuild it...right where it had been already...
It was best summed up for me by an interview on SBS/ABC(?) with a woman in Brazil whose home in a favela was flattened to build a stadium...she was standing at a wire gate looking into the nearly completed arena, lit-up like a bay of beacons, and pointed to the pitch area, saying 'that's where my home used to be' and made the observation about the cost of the project that 'every seat in that stadium could have been a home for a family'...that is, for what it cost to build that stadium of 40,000-45,000 seats, the government could have built 40,000+ homes...
In SA, Labor sold off a highly profitable state asset, the South East Forestry Estate, via a '3 Rotation Lease', for less than 2/3 it's value, and then blew every cent on a $90million bribe to the SA Cricket Assoc, and the Toilet Bowl stadium that now blights the site...(you know, with the net $40m per annum net profit from the SEFE pre the Lease debacle, you could build a pointless bridge across the Torrens, itself a fake lake, build a new bridge every year-Ed)...hilarious...
And I apologise for my ignorance in that I thought that the Railways and SA Water were the last Public Assets left for Labor to sell, I had foolishly thought that Homestart and the Motor Accident Commission were government departments, which they sort of are...but my ignorance aside, Labor is going to pocket the $500m+ sitting in the MAC fund, and dump SA motorists unto the tender machinations of Insurance companies...super...I note that the MAC financed the new $400,000 pedestrian crossing at the Andami Shopping Centre...does this MAC sale mean no more crossings anywhere?...
Well Bite Me: because speaking of the World Cup, apparently there's not enough grub in the Uruguayan camp, forcing start striker Luis Suarez to chow down on a little Italian mid-match...(well you'd have to be famished wouldn't you, to go the nosh on an opponent's shoulder whilst 1/4 of the world's population is watching-Ed)...indeed...but apparently Chewie Suarez has "form with the fang" and has bitten a couple of times before, and was banned for 10 games in the English Premier League (last year?)...(Chewie Suarez...classic...perhaps he was having GI issues and mistook his opponent for a giant gummy bear-Ed)...possibly...
Your Numbers Up: is just a quick reference to the 'rumour' that Mayor Steve Perryman has allegedly won a small fortune on Lotto, one of 2 or 3 recent local winners...again today, I've heard 2 new versions of this rumour, and it was also put to me that those winners are already identified and that therefore it ain't Mayor Perryman...I don't know who has done what, who has won what where and when or why, but the issue clearly needs resolving...I'd have thought that the Mayor having such a 'genuine' windfall would be front page news in The Border Watch...
John Madigan Goes Mad Ag'in:...(whilst wearing a cardigan?-Ed)...well it is the fad agi'n...anyhoos, the Democratic Liberal Party Senator (Federal Upper House) has used his Budget response speech to have a go at the Liberal Party/PM Tony Abbott, saying "stop using families as a punching bag"...(go you good thing-Ed)...he went on to say that Australians deserve better/more than this Budget and he simply ain't gonna' support it...
SA Attorney General John Rau was at Berri Courts talking about getting 'the accused' to enter an early plea of guilty, a decision based purely on expediency, and actually sounding like he was telling lawyers to tell people to plead guilty...(sounds like it-Ed)...to help Labor sort out the basket-case Judicial system, eg, where Regional services/Circuits have just been cut to save costs...typical Labor strategy...

The closest thing to solid advice I've had, is that the general legal practice is to try and attach precedents, etc, from other legislation, and that in this/my case that's likely to be Defamation Legislation...(with associated Criminal Liability as you have been repeatedly threatened with by the Crown Solicitor, the Lutheran's lawyers, etc, etc?-Ed)...wouldn't surprise me, but I don't know...but then again, nobody does...
So, not only am I 'Saving for a Raidy Day' to pay for another computer when SAPol 'seize' this one, and/or bail, but given that there's likely an attempt to attach gaol time to this ludicrously Fascist legislation, that I'll need to shave my head...ain't goin' to gaol with long hair...(damn straight-Ed)...

Holy Instant Feedback Batman
Howdy and welcome to a special, short extra post re what I'm calling Instant Feedback because I grew up in an age where you left a message if they had one a' them new fangled answering machines and they'd get back to you maybe tomorrow, etc, so hearing back already about today's post is Instant to me...
In today's earlier post I made a series of jokes re Guy Fawkes, but apparently these jokes are considered to be not necessarily in bad taste, but just inappropriate, and I genuinely apologise for any offence that may have been caused...what I've said earlier today is, I thought, clearly an angry man venting by making bad jokes, but I appreciate and acknowledge that my specific language was considered inappropriate and again I can only apologise ...
In My Own Defence: I'd like to think that I've established a reputation for being a genuinely Massive Passive and that my comments would be considered in that context...I admit that the paragraph still reads to me somewhat differently to the feedback, but that's just me...and despite that, and although I've not been specifically asked to, because it doesn't detract from the overall post, I have gone back and removed that paragraph...as soon as I post this.
The point that I was trying to make is that the GF plan is clearly not any resolution to anything and that the people I hold responsible for the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up should be held to account in Court and the entire system reviewed and restructured, and I have covered these issues repeatedly in previous posts...the title about 'Christian Cuddles' is a 'joke' in itself, being a phrase used by the Lutherans et al to play down the St Martin Abuse issues, that I have 'joked' should happen to people like Rory McEwen...but it hasn't happened, ain't going to happen.

In today's earlier post I made a series of jokes re Guy Fawkes, but apparently these jokes are considered to be not necessarily in bad taste, but just inappropriate, and I genuinely apologise for any offence that may have been caused...what I've said earlier today is, I thought, clearly an angry man venting by making bad jokes, but I appreciate and acknowledge that my specific language was considered inappropriate and again I can only apologise ...
In My Own Defence: I'd like to think that I've established a reputation for being a genuinely Massive Passive and that my comments would be considered in that context...I admit that the paragraph still reads to me somewhat differently to the feedback, but that's just me...and despite that, and although I've not been specifically asked to, because it doesn't detract from the overall post, I have gone back and removed that paragraph...as soon as I post this.
The point that I was trying to make is that the GF plan is clearly not any resolution to anything and that the people I hold responsible for the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up should be held to account in Court and the entire system reviewed and restructured, and I have covered these issues repeatedly in previous posts...the title about 'Christian Cuddles' is a 'joke' in itself, being a phrase used by the Lutherans et al to play down the St Martin Abuse issues, that I have 'joked' should happen to people like Rory McEwen...but it hasn't happened, ain't going to happen.

Just For Chucks: heard the other day (ABC/BBC?) that someone or other whom I'm sure I could Google Search if I could be bothered but haven't, received the Nobel Prize for "Gettin' Jiggy Against Chemical Weapons And Them F***ers What Done Use 'Em"...(ah, the GJACWATFWDUE Award...ironic really, considering that Nobel was an Industrialist whom made a fortune developing and selling explosives, much of which was of course used in ordinance/weapons, yet they're awarding prizes for opposing Chemical Weapons, prizes initially introduced as an advertising/public relations exercise to address the whole 'murderous war-mongers' type criticisms...I guess Nobel doesn't sell chemicals-Ed)...

An Observation Not A Joke: Whilst companies like Monsanto, for example, may have many questions to answer re chemicals promotion/usage/etc, seed monopolies, gene manipulation and/or copyrights, etc, I'm not aware that they produce fertiliser specifically so that it can be used as an ingredient, eg, in the common explosive, ANFO...maybe they do specifically cater to weapons production, etc, but I just don't know...
Ed The Feral Budget: is a shitful piece of Right-wing Ideology aimed directly at hammering lower income earners, the elderly, single mums, the unemployed, peeps like ma'self on the Disablity Support Pension and anybody else who isn't an Upper Middle class white man, taxing us in ways we cannot avoid, eg Indexed Fuel Price increases that will never, ever be matched by wage increases, GP Co-payments of $7, axing Family Tax Benefit payments whilst introducing the Payed Parental Care Scheme, no Unemployment Benefit for 6 months, etc...
(Six months?...what payment do you get if you're unemployed, for whatever reason?-Ed)...none that I'm aware of, but I am assuming that other payments, eg, Rent Assistance, will continue...(even if that's true, where does the rest of the rent come from, money for food and bills, etc,?-Ed)...no idea, move back in with your family and/or borrow I suppose...(beg, borrow or steal-Ed)...so we're back to stealing loaves of bread due to entrenched poverty...jeez, that sounds awfully familiar...
State of Decay Budget: I'm going to roll this over, but 2 quick comments in 1...alleged super-mate of Regional SA, alleged Independent Member for Frome and Labor Front Bench Minister, Geoff Brock, has emphatically supported the State Budget that says not only will there be open slather Fracking (and mostly in the South East, I guarantee it won't be happening anywhere near Adelaide or the Barossa), but that companies like Beach Energy will not have to pay any royalties on the extracted gas for 5 years...(absolute, across the board, environmental, social, and fiscal insanity that smacks of the rank, profiteering corruption that is destroying the SA Economy...already has really-Ed)...
City Budget: is yet again a case of not being able to gauge the reality from the figures provided because the providers cannot be trusted...it is an absolutely unsustainable deceit for City Council to talk about how robust their Budget is whilst repeatedly congratulating each other for what a great job they're doing, and talk about 'Operating Surplus', etc, when only 12 months ago they doubled their own borrowing capacity...nor is it sustainable to pursue the lights around the Blue Lake...more tomorrow...
Here's A Heads Up: for the public about a potential public albeit metaphoric slapping of a bearded shreckin' idiot...(I like your beard-Ed)...not me you idiot, another idiot, I mean a different idiot, no, hang-on, wait...whatevs...and it's not a beard, I just don't shave very often...(looks like a beard to me-Ed)...anyway, I'm talking about Councillor Des Mutton...(not Cr Mutton?-Ed)...indeed, only the third or even fourth dodgiest person on Mt Gambier City Council, but still a champ in 'is own right...(yeah, 3rd or 4th still allows for a fair bit of shenaniganising-Ed)...indeed...
And I say 'dodgy' because of his involvement with the rank corruption of the Main Corner Project where Council used well over $11million of ratepayers money (and still counting) to build a Function Facility with a nearly $1m Commercial Kitchen, then handed it all free of charge to Des's son Lachlan, whilst using ratepayer's money to pay the ongoing running costs...(and Mayor Steve Perryman was the other Tender, and there's still money missing-Ed)...indeed, nepotistic and corrupt doesn't begin to describe it...classic Mt Gambier City Council...

You know, call me naive, but if Councillors are acting corruptly and/or with malfeasance, and quite clearly they are, and they're making personally profitable decisions completely and quite deliberately ignorant to the effect on the general public, those whom elected them, the ratepayers, the people who's money it is that Council is spending, are Council not just breaking their own alleged Codes of Conduct and relevant Local Government Assoc Guidelines, etc, but also stealing from ratepayers...(you'd think so-Ed)...
I mean, obviously SAPol and their various Fraud, Anti-Corruption, etc, squads aren't particularly interested in dealing with any malfeasance in SA because if they were they'd have a shreckin' field day with these yahoos...but they don't so they aren't...(if only there was someone or something in South Australia that could deal with such obvious issues of rank malfeasance, malfeasance that is apparently just fine as far as current SA Authorities are concerned...if only-Ed)...if only...

At Council's latest meeting (Tuesday 17th June 2014) it took all of 2-3 seconds of Cr Andrew Lee speaking before Desdemona (Des the Moaner) started mouthing off to Cr Von Stanke on his right and directly to Acting Mayor Penny Richardson in the Chair...I could see and hear him talking but couldn't actually make out what he was muttering...on previous occasions I have seen/heard Des laughingly sneering to Cr VonStanke "I can't understand a word he's saying"...quote, unquote...and a 'metaphoric slapping' is a jolly good talking to...
Cr Des is clearly very much enamoured of his own wonderfulness, and often has something to say during Council meetings whilst others are...(what a tool-Ed)...speaking...very funny...but his extraordinary conduct toward Cr Lee is nothing but rascist and he should be sanctioned, in the moment, by the Mayor/Council for this offensively disrespectful behaviour...Cr Lee isn't exactly my favourite person, nor I his I'm sure, but Dodgy Des's behaviour displays far more than dislike, smeared as it is with disdain and delivered through a self-righteous sneer of White Rightness and it is simply not acceptable...Cr Lee should not be subjected to it nor expected to accept it as is clearly the status quo...

An Observation Not A Joke: Whilst companies like Monsanto, for example, may have many questions to answer re chemicals promotion/usage/etc, seed monopolies, gene manipulation and/or copyrights, etc, I'm not aware that they produce fertiliser specifically so that it can be used as an ingredient, eg, in the common explosive, ANFO...maybe they do specifically cater to weapons production, etc, but I just don't know...
Ed The Feral Budget: is a shitful piece of Right-wing Ideology aimed directly at hammering lower income earners, the elderly, single mums, the unemployed, peeps like ma'self on the Disablity Support Pension and anybody else who isn't an Upper Middle class white man, taxing us in ways we cannot avoid, eg Indexed Fuel Price increases that will never, ever be matched by wage increases, GP Co-payments of $7, axing Family Tax Benefit payments whilst introducing the Payed Parental Care Scheme, no Unemployment Benefit for 6 months, etc...

I Know I Random Before - The Rail Lands Retail Agenda
Hello and welcome to a very brief pseudo-day off post re the RLRA again...it's all about context...
Feedback: re the Medical Marijuana stuff...yes there was a program recently (ABC/SBS?) featuring an United States psychologist and she was opposing legalisation stating that the majority of her younger clients had smoked marijuana and had issues of depression, psychosis, etc...there are issues of potential permanent 'damage' from early exposure, itself a potential result of 'legalisation', but this is all a completely different argument to MM, eg, the regulated production of low THC (the 'psycho-active agent'* in marijuana) oils, tinctures, etc, specifically for medicinal use......
I am not a doctor, clinician, etc...eg, *'psycho-active' is a term I use, it may not be the current recognised medical and/or research terminology...I'm just a former Chemotherapy patient whom chose to MM self-medicate during treatment, with what I believe were direct and excellent results...this is only anecdotal evidence not a clinical trial or anything like that...please research this for yourself, but I maintain my support...
The RLRA: yes I know, but like I say it's almost a day off for me and I've wanted to include these maps and the related articles from The Border Watch in recent RLRA posts that just got way too long...I know that I have posted several of these maps before, I 'ran them before', but it bears review in comparison...
For those of you whom cannot avail themselves personally of this here hole, here's a picture what TBW done Wednesday 11th June 2014 of the excavator in the fake lake which shows perfectly the scale of what Council promotes as a piece of Socially Interactive Playscape or some shizzle, but is actually an Industrial Drainage Sump planned, designed, engineered, and constructed to deal with the run-off for the roof of the still being pursued Retail Expansion on the site.
Please note that in the second picture/plan, taken from Council's 30 page Design Plans as presented in February 2006, under Advantages, dot point 3, the critical statement;
"Reduces risk of competing centres being developed at the city fringe"
This is what I've been saying about how Council blocked Bunnings at Penola Rd (where Woolworths, Big W, etc, is now) which led to Bunnings on the furiously re-zoned Millicent Rd site that belongs to a then serving Grant District Councillor Brenton James, etc, etc, etc...and the extraordinary damage this cross Council greed, corruption and incompetence has done to Mt Gambier.
I completely reject this farcical alleged debate about the risks this lake may pose and how Councillor Des Mutton is deeply concerned, etc...blah, blah, blah, this is purely promotion of Cr Mutton leading up to the November 2014 Local Government Elections...where was this debate before Council proposed, voted for, passed, and have 3/4 constructed the $700,000 shreckin' fake lake?...lie after lie, deceit after deceit, it's all about the RLRA and there's no denyin' it...

Here A Budget, There A Budget
Hello France, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Denmark and welcome to the blog...apologies for no post yesterday, couldn't get an Interweb connection last evening...(do you think it was anything to do with the heavy rain?-Ed)...shouldn't, but it certainly does appear that windy and/or wet conditions are enough to compromise the link...must admit that after a long day I didn't try as hard as I have on other occasions, eg, trying every 5 minutes for 1/2 hr until it eventually happens...
Language Warning: I had some great news yesterday re my sore knee in so much as it's absolutely rooted, bone on bone, thoroughly f***ed...and excuse my venom but I am absolutely rabid because I've been trying for years to get something done about it...so I'd just like to thank the rankly incompetent hack here in Mt Gambier whom I first went to about my knee years ago...took a year to get an initial appointment, then several years for that person to get me an MRI appointment in Adelaide that wasn't even a scan, it was an appointment about getting a scan...
(Sorry? so you'd been to an alleged surgeon here, had x-rays, etc, but you still had to travel 450kms to Adelaide to have an appointment about going back a few weeks later for an actual scan?-Ed)...yep...(and that took years for effectively nil or even a negative outcome?-Ed)...yep, and that was 18 months ago...but I'll cover it in another post soon because gross incompetence and well-voiced denigration aside, it's just another case of a South East patient giving up on even trying to access treatment...anyhoos, it's that time of year again for our local politicians to have a go at redefining the realities of the Fiscal Universe...(the FU?-Ed)...indeed, the FU...moving on...

I'll maybe do 2 posts today, starting with this left over stuff from yesterday...in the interests of transparency I'll open with an unambiguous disclosure of my rank cynicism re any politician sprouting Budget figures and forecasts, particularly given what I know of the functionings of Mt Gambier City Council and the Labor state government and how they so readily misrepresent those realities...I'm not the only one saying that Labor has promised a surplus over and over again whilst simultaneously ruling out privatisation, only to fail miserably on both counts...
Grant District Council has raised rates quite considerably, but I'd be far more likely to believe and accept that than the simply unbelievable crap spewing out of Mt Gambier City Council about how great their Financial Management is and how they are headed toward an 'Operational Surplus'...(bollocks...last year their gross mismanagement caught up with them and they just doubled there own borrowing capacity-Ed)...well exactly...but we digress...again...
I completely reject the crassly deceitful state Labor Party propaganda that they've done anything to 'protect' South Australians from the Federal Budget, which appears to be their entire strategy for the future, blame the shreckin' Federal Budget...(we already have the second highest electricity prices on the planet, thanks largely to the Labor obsession with Wind Turbines and milking the associated massive taxpayer funded subsidies and astronomical retail prices-Ed)...indeed...
And add to that the highest Business Taxes of any state, the second most expensive water, and the most outrageously extortionist fines for minor traffic expenses...(at least twice, up to 4 times as much as other states-Ed)...indeed...and a health system that's being dismantled to finance the Privatisation of Health via the new Royal Adelaide Hospital...(where work has stopped again after yet another crane accident-Ed)...and that's only going to get worse with Labor stating that they're not going to proceed with $234m of major hospital renovations/re-builds across Adelaide...
And the entire State Budget strategy is trying to sling it all at the feet of Federal Liberal Budget cuts of (I think) $650m approx...which allegedly justifies an increase to the Emergency Services Levy of $150, more cuts to health including shelving those hospital upgrades, and instead creating the Health Capital Investment Fund or some such shizzle...and selling the Motor Accident Commission...

No Segue At All: but I'm deeply concerned that at City Council's meeting Tuesday 17th May 2014 that Acting Mayor Penny Richardson was talking about Christchurch I think it was, in Aotearoa (New Zealand) and how they've consolidated their sporting facilities to minimise duplication and greatly reduce maintenance costs, etc...Ms Richardson made the observation that Mt Gambier could do this and have a dedicated sports precinct (paraphrase)...
Two things: 1) Mt Gambier already has a sports precinct, it's called Olympic Park, and there was an International Tennis tournament played there, as recently as 2012, but Council failed to maintain the courts and lost it to Pt Pirie I think...and it will never be coming back...(yeah, that's right...Mayor Steve Perryman was in the media dismissing it as no biggie because it 'didn't generate much revenue' for Mt Gambier...irresponsible, unbelievable, untenable-Ed)...global advertising that you simply couldn't buy and the Mayor just waves it away, couldn't care less...just another case of City Council ignoring what doesn't interest/benefit/profit it's constituent members...
And 2) Council have time and again failed to invest in the Aquatic Centre which would/should already be the centrepiece of that Sporting Precinct...(and there's already the expansive Blue Lake Sports Pk thingy-Ed)...exactly...what concerned me most was use of the word 'consolidating' because 3) I believe that this is the thin edge of the 'Sell The Rail Lands Wedge', namely that Council can sell some assets to pay for other works...I've covered this in previous posts...(but you digress-Ed)...sorry, yes...

Absolutely typical that there's no money apparent for the basic maintenance of SE Drainage Infrastructure, namely the $80m-$100m to replace decaying and often undersized bridges, several major drain renovations, ongoing maintenance, etc, but there is funding for another drain so that Labor can point at it for the delectation of Adelaide's Inner-Suburban Greenies (and again, yes, I used to be one), so that Labor can point and say, 'oo look what we're doing for the iconic Coorong and therefore the SE Environment, hooray for us'...pricks...

I'll maybe do 2 posts today, starting with this left over stuff from yesterday...in the interests of transparency I'll open with an unambiguous disclosure of my rank cynicism re any politician sprouting Budget figures and forecasts, particularly given what I know of the functionings of Mt Gambier City Council and the Labor state government and how they so readily misrepresent those realities...I'm not the only one saying that Labor has promised a surplus over and over again whilst simultaneously ruling out privatisation, only to fail miserably on both counts...
Grant District Council has raised rates quite considerably, but I'd be far more likely to believe and accept that than the simply unbelievable crap spewing out of Mt Gambier City Council about how great their Financial Management is and how they are headed toward an 'Operational Surplus'...(bollocks...last year their gross mismanagement caught up with them and they just doubled there own borrowing capacity-Ed)...well exactly...but we digress...again...
I completely reject the crassly deceitful state Labor Party propaganda that they've done anything to 'protect' South Australians from the Federal Budget, which appears to be their entire strategy for the future, blame the shreckin' Federal Budget...(we already have the second highest electricity prices on the planet, thanks largely to the Labor obsession with Wind Turbines and milking the associated massive taxpayer funded subsidies and astronomical retail prices-Ed)...indeed...
And add to that the highest Business Taxes of any state, the second most expensive water, and the most outrageously extortionist fines for minor traffic expenses...(at least twice, up to 4 times as much as other states-Ed)...indeed...and a health system that's being dismantled to finance the Privatisation of Health via the new Royal Adelaide Hospital...(where work has stopped again after yet another crane accident-Ed)...and that's only going to get worse with Labor stating that they're not going to proceed with $234m of major hospital renovations/re-builds across Adelaide...
And the entire State Budget strategy is trying to sling it all at the feet of Federal Liberal Budget cuts of (I think) $650m approx...which allegedly justifies an increase to the Emergency Services Levy of $150, more cuts to health including shelving those hospital upgrades, and instead creating the Health Capital Investment Fund or some such shizzle...and selling the Motor Accident Commission...

Saving For A Raidy Day
Hello Russia, Canada, Belgium, and Moldova...why a bunch of people in Moldova would be interested in this blog remains a mystery to me, but cheers and howdy...and welcome all to the blog...and for what it's worth, according to my little stats graph thingy, there's been a sharp spike in 'post views', particularly of posts re the SAPol raid of my home on May 7th/8th 2014...apologies for missing post yesterday, stopped to watch the State of Origin Rugby and never got back to it...sorry , means 2 posts today...
But it's not the actual 'Raid' posts that have garnered all the attention, there have been heaps of 'views' of the still active but possibly allegedly offending posts about the allegedly Independent Authority that I'm not sure I'm even allowed to identify...(it truly is the most stupid thing I've ever heard-Ed)...indeed, but not so much stupid as Fascist...(I'd like to say 'don't be so melodramatic', but you have a point...a shady Uber-authority whom's dealings are steeped in such secrecy that one cannot even discuss them when they're over...and sending the foot soldiers (no offence) of SAPol to do their bidding-Ed)...but first...
Feedback: apparently the National Broadband Network Roll-out monitor tracking thingy website says that the NBN is coming to Mt Gambier real soon, like within 6 months...I'm not sure how this relates to the repeated media reports/discussions that the NBN was many years away (5-8) from getting to Mt Gambier...one assumes that this sudden acceleration is at least part due to the different service delivery method being installed by the Liberals...there's certainly been a lot of activity with new towers, cabling, etc...
One Last Statement: re my declared support for Medicinal Marijuana...I happened to catch a bit of radio announcer Alan Jones show yesterday where he was re-stating his support for MM and talking to a bloke who runs a (I'm assuming) research company in Tasmania...(where we happen to also grow half the world's crop of Medicinal Opium-Ed)...indeed...and this bloke was saying that they could have a mass-produced product on Australian shelves within 100 days but they just can't get the political support for MM...
Apologies that I don't have the details...(I do, just Interwebbed this...reckon it's Tasman Health Cannabinoids who have been trying for a year to get a license...and there's a bloke Tony Bower of Mullaway Medical Cannabis in New South Wales who has been (is) making a low THC tincture that is being used by 150 families to treat children for epilepsy, other seizures, pain relief, etc...THC is TetraHydroCannabinol, the psycho-active constituent in cannabis-Ed)...thankyou...
(Mr Bower has been doing this for nearly a decade, producing and giving away a tincture (oil) that doesn't cause a 'high' and clearly works, but he has recently been charged with cultivation, and so this supply is under threat-Ed)...yeah, I've been trawling through the Interweb too, GoogleSearch is fantastic...(isn't it-Ed)...and there's many articles re both companies...check it out...there's stuff about the NSW Nurses and Midwives Assoc (59,000 members) officially supporting Medicinal Marijuana...the NSW Health Minister Jillian Skinner agrees with a trial, but wants it held in Tasmania, etc, etc...

Off The Rails: Yesterday it was mentioned on ABC Local Radio that an Old Red Hen passenger train was seen on the back of trucks at Penola, headed out of town...this is one of the 4 (possibly more-sorry, but the interviewee talked of a 3-car set-up and I'm not sure if he meant that as 1...whatevs), but the lot has been purchased by SteamRanger for the Victor Harbour/Goolwa 'Cockle' tourist train, and another tourist train near Mt Barker...some will be restored and the others scavenged for parts...so sad...
I recall as a youth (early 1980's), catching the old Red Hens from Blackwood station, maybe Belair, etc, and rockin' and rollin' and rattlin' down to Adelaide and going to Downtown to play the video games, etc...we'd often have the old latch lock doors wide open, particularly on the way back up the hill on hot days...even through the tunnels...and I remember playing in the small exhaust tunnel (for steam engines) immediately above the main tunnel on the section of track that passes through Belair National Park...(the Adelaide-Belair rail line is apparently one of the steepest rail gradients in the world-Ed)...fascinating, do tell...(I just did-Ed)........mm, fair enough...
I am absolutely confident in identifying the avarice, greed, selfishness, borderline insanity, call it what you want, that defines the behaviour of specific members of the Mt Gambier City Council and a handful of their relatives/mates/associates colluding for mutual profit at the gross expense of the City and it's ratepayers...this is the fundamental reality behind the demise of the SE Tourist Train thingy...
These vested interests have colluded and conspired to force the closure of the Tourist Train service and force it off the Rail Lands because nothing can be allowed to interfere with the Rail Lands Retail Agenda, whereby Council et al have used ratepayers money to get that site ready for a massive Retail Expansion of the adjacent Lakes Plaza (Centro)...but I digress...
Percussive Repercussions: is what one gets when one strikes an object with a hammer or such, and one's timing isn't quite what it could be, and the force/energy is therefore not transferred smoothly but at least in part feeds back through the aforementioned Wielder...and so I'd like to acknowledge the Universe for the vaguely unsettling coincidence of circumstance and analogy that provides me the meat for a series of metaphorising and self-praise...(sorry, what?-Ed)...
Using A Sledgehammer To Crack A Walnut:...(strewth, I see what you mean, a dozen metaphors in one line-Ed)...indeed, where to start...(always start with the Nut-Ed)...the Nut?...(always the Nut-Ed)...on the blog I have repeatedly talked about the Mental Health issues that have affected me for years now, not least of all to address both 1) the specific campaign of character assassination carried out against myself and other parents to perpetuate the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up, and 2) how that entire situation has traumatised me...
This includes the post, 'Nick Fletcher - The Nut That Wouldn't Crack' (150th Post May 29th 2013) so any metaphor with a nut in it is a good one, and I've also posted the 'Which Tree Did You Fall From' chart (post February 2nd 2014) which has me falling out of a Walnut Tree...(so it did, classic, the Walnut Tree..."strange, unrelenting, full of passion"-Ed)..."not always liked but often admired"...(often egotistic-Ed)...yes, happy days...

It is now 6 weeks since SAPol 'raided' my home (on Thursday 8th May 2014) with a Search Warrant after stating that they were here to gather evidence for the Director Public Prosecutions re something I've said on this here blog re a state Authority that I'm not even sure that I'm allowed to mention...(and we're back there again-Ed)...I know, I know, ludicrous doesn't begin to describe it...apparently I'm in trouble for talking about a state Authority allegedly doing what it is supposedly supposed to do...(after it's finished supposedly doing it-Ed)...indeed...
Anyhoos, 2 SAPol Anti-Corruption Branch detectives came to my home with a very dodgy looking Search Warrant and "seized" as "evidence" my laptop, repeatedly stating that I should "expect to be charged"...that was on Wednesday 7th May 2014, with the actual 'raid' at my home on Thursday 8th May 2014...I've heard nothing since from SAPol, the DPP, the 'Independent Authority' involved, not nuffin' from no-one...what I have heard is state Labor Attorney General John Rau and the relative Commissioner on ABC Radio, on Tuesday 13th May stating that the exact section of legislation I was told "expect to be charged" with only 5 days before, that that legislation is too strict and/or vague and that they're going to change it...
Beyond that I have nothing new to add...I've had repeated legal advice on this and they cannot advise me because 1) neither of us knows what the alleged charge might possibly be eventually, and 2) of course there's no precedents to refer to because this is the first time this legislation has been enacted...(so where to from here then?-Ed)...my legal advisor has to contact the various players to seek multiple clarifications re the legislation, potential charges, etc...
(So you've had your home raided and your laptop seized as evidence, and you have to write to these clowns to ask for direction as to exactly how they intend to harass you further-Ed)...not my idea mate, just following advice...I'll finish here and post again probably tomorrow but maybe 'ron today...

I recall as a youth (early 1980's), catching the old Red Hens from Blackwood station, maybe Belair, etc, and rockin' and rollin' and rattlin' down to Adelaide and going to Downtown to play the video games, etc...we'd often have the old latch lock doors wide open, particularly on the way back up the hill on hot days...even through the tunnels...and I remember playing in the small exhaust tunnel (for steam engines) immediately above the main tunnel on the section of track that passes through Belair National Park...(the Adelaide-Belair rail line is apparently one of the steepest rail gradients in the world-Ed)...fascinating, do tell...(I just did-Ed)........mm, fair enough...
I am absolutely confident in identifying the avarice, greed, selfishness, borderline insanity, call it what you want, that defines the behaviour of specific members of the Mt Gambier City Council and a handful of their relatives/mates/associates colluding for mutual profit at the gross expense of the City and it's ratepayers...this is the fundamental reality behind the demise of the SE Tourist Train thingy...
These vested interests have colluded and conspired to force the closure of the Tourist Train service and force it off the Rail Lands because nothing can be allowed to interfere with the Rail Lands Retail Agenda, whereby Council et al have used ratepayers money to get that site ready for a massive Retail Expansion of the adjacent Lakes Plaza (Centro)...but I digress...
Percussive Repercussions: is what one gets when one strikes an object with a hammer or such, and one's timing isn't quite what it could be, and the force/energy is therefore not transferred smoothly but at least in part feeds back through the aforementioned Wielder...and so I'd like to acknowledge the Universe for the vaguely unsettling coincidence of circumstance and analogy that provides me the meat for a series of metaphorising and self-praise...(sorry, what?-Ed)...
Using A Sledgehammer To Crack A Walnut:...(strewth, I see what you mean, a dozen metaphors in one line-Ed)...indeed, where to start...(always start with the Nut-Ed)...the Nut?...(always the Nut-Ed)...on the blog I have repeatedly talked about the Mental Health issues that have affected me for years now, not least of all to address both 1) the specific campaign of character assassination carried out against myself and other parents to perpetuate the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up, and 2) how that entire situation has traumatised me...
This includes the post, 'Nick Fletcher - The Nut That Wouldn't Crack' (150th Post May 29th 2013) so any metaphor with a nut in it is a good one, and I've also posted the 'Which Tree Did You Fall From' chart (post February 2nd 2014) which has me falling out of a Walnut Tree...(so it did, classic, the Walnut Tree..."strange, unrelenting, full of passion"-Ed)..."not always liked but often admired"...(often egotistic-Ed)...yes, happy days...
I've also used analogies and/or self-referenced as being not the sharpest tool in the shed, much more likely a mattock, but possibly an anvil...(I reckon you're a hoe-Ed)...yes thankyou very much...(just sayin', you're always hacking about in the dirt and muck and stuff-Ed)...that's not what you meant and you know it...but I have made these references, used these metaphors, etc, and then I find myself roughly at the centre of a situation that is perfectly encapsulated by the above saying...
It is now 6 weeks since SAPol 'raided' my home (on Thursday 8th May 2014) with a Search Warrant after stating that they were here to gather evidence for the Director Public Prosecutions re something I've said on this here blog re a state Authority that I'm not even sure that I'm allowed to mention...(and we're back there again-Ed)...I know, I know, ludicrous doesn't begin to describe it...apparently I'm in trouble for talking about a state Authority allegedly doing what it is supposedly supposed to do...(after it's finished supposedly doing it-Ed)...indeed...
Anyhoos, 2 SAPol Anti-Corruption Branch detectives came to my home with a very dodgy looking Search Warrant and "seized" as "evidence" my laptop, repeatedly stating that I should "expect to be charged"...that was on Wednesday 7th May 2014, with the actual 'raid' at my home on Thursday 8th May 2014...I've heard nothing since from SAPol, the DPP, the 'Independent Authority' involved, not nuffin' from no-one...what I have heard is state Labor Attorney General John Rau and the relative Commissioner on ABC Radio, on Tuesday 13th May stating that the exact section of legislation I was told "expect to be charged" with only 5 days before, that that legislation is too strict and/or vague and that they're going to change it...
Beyond that I have nothing new to add...I've had repeated legal advice on this and they cannot advise me because 1) neither of us knows what the alleged charge might possibly be eventually, and 2) of course there's no precedents to refer to because this is the first time this legislation has been enacted...(so where to from here then?-Ed)...my legal advisor has to contact the various players to seek multiple clarifications re the legislation, potential charges, etc...
(So you've had your home raided and your laptop seized as evidence, and you have to write to these clowns to ask for direction as to exactly how they intend to harass you further-Ed)...not my idea mate, just following advice...I'll finish here and post again probably tomorrow but maybe 'ron today...
