PM Tony Abbott continues to hold forth about the MH 17 crash/downing, constantly pendulumming from criticism of Ukrainian Separatists for their 'crime' and Russia 'for supplying them', but then stating that Eastern European politics is none of his business...(and such a brave man too our PM-Ed)...how so...(well he's now stated outright that he's "prepared to take risks" to 'bring them home'-Ed)...that's Operation Bring Them Home to you chummy, but I share your concerns about how brave Tony can be with other people's lives...
It continues to be reported/stated as fact that the plane was "shot down", but I wouldn't know who to trust/believe...I don't accept 'our' claims though that it's 'Russian-backed Separatists' that have stalled access to the site when it's the Ukrainian Army that massed in the area amid increased fighting...whilst/because it's not my place to tell those involved what is and isn't right/wrong/whatevs, I will take responsibility for the blizzard of Nationalistic bullshit my government is blowing out of Canberra, and I will call such manipulative machinations for what they are.

No political manipulation and/or misappropriation is too crass for Tony and his pit of media vipers, as they desperately try to drag The Mad Monk's personal approval rating back into the sunshine with crude Nationalism and boof-headed belligerence...as much as my heart aches for the families and friends of those whom died in the MH17 crash, every time I see our illustrious leaders behaving like such arrogant tools, my bile rises and my blood boils...which is a very unpleasant albeit accidental segue into the Ebola Virus outbreak that began some months ago in Sierra Leone (West Africa)...
As the death toll rises above 600 and the Outbreak spreads, this 'story' has slowly moved from the ABC/BBC World News services and small articles on page 20 of The Daily Whatevs to more mainstream reportage...now Dr Sheik Uma Khan, the lead doctor in Sierra Leone, has also died from the virus and there has been at least one case reported in Nigeria...this is a drastic escalation in the spread of this strain of Ebola, because as my 1987 Phillips World Map shows, whilst infections/deaths have been reported in neighbouring countries Guinea and Liberia, it is a 'jump' of several nations to get to Nigeria...
This raises the probability that this person (these people?) travelled across these intermediate countries potentially infecting others, or far, far worse, flew to Nigeria guaranteeing close contact with many others...there are also concerns that there may be deaths in remote communities that are not being specifically reported as Ebola, making the actual toll well above the estimated/official 600+...(just in, a case in Nigeria was someone who flew in from Sierra Leone-Ed)...indeed, and as a result some air services/providers have been grounded...
It's barely a novelty story until it gets outta' it's box and then everybody's interested...it is a basic human predisposition toward self-preservation, and some basic advice in that context...if you're getting robbed/attacked/whatevs don't yell Help because likely no-one's going to help, but yell Fire and they'll come running, because fires spread and affect others...not my story, heard it in a program/discussion about Psychology 15-20 years ago...(I'd help-Ed)...yes, well, I'd like to think some people would Ed, some would...

Yesterday I started in on Liberals David Ridgway and Peter Gandolfi, Steve Perryman, Mitch Williams, Martin Hamilton-Smith, Rob Lucas, Rob Kerin, et al...(you forgot Tony Pasin-Ed)...ah yes, Mr Pasin...as being personally and collectively complicit in, and entirely responsible for, the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up...(I vaguely recall something, yes-Ed)...well as part of his interview on the ABC Local Radio, Mr Ridgway briefly mentioned the Child Abuse issues currently spewing out of the Education Dept...
Mr Ridgway stated in general response to questions about what the Liberals actually do (but with specific reference to the Child Abuse issues) that 'the Opposition can do stuff or we can just sit there' (paraphrase)...(sorry what? this from the man who has specifically helped Labor and the Lutherans Cover-up the gross abuse of a class of 7 year olds...whatta' prick-Ed)...indeed Ed, whatta' prick...when presented with irrefutable, documented proof (February 2006) of what Labor and the Lutherans were/are doing re St Martins, Mr Ridgway did worse than nothing by doing absolutely nothing...
Rob Lucas and David Pisoni, amongst others, were repeatedly contacted/reminded about St Martins leading into the March 2014 state Election, including my tete-a-tete with Robby boy here in Mt Gambier when he stated outright that there was 'nothing here that I can use to embarrass Labor in Parliament and the media won't be interested'...(whatta' prick-Ed)...indeed, this from a man who was on the Statutory Authorities Review Committee that produced the deliberately corrupt SARC Report no.54 re the Teachers Registration Board...
This from the man who, as part of the SARC, heard my document supported testimony and that of other parents and even one extraordinarily brave child...the man who grimaced with confected concern and shook his head with disingenuous disbelief and furrowed his brow with rehearsed insincerity, and then signed his name to SARC Report no.54, a complicit and corrupt official bipartisan continuation of the St Martins Cover-up...
*I note that current 'Independent' Parliamentarian Bernard Finnigan, arrested in April 2011 for multiple Child Pornography charges whilst a Labor Party member and the then Rann Labor government's Acting Police Minister, will allegedly face the one remaining charge in April 2015, exactly 4 years after he was charged...the Acting Police Minister and it's taken 3 1/2 years already, and I don't believe for a moment that that case will see the light of day in any Court because the absolute Paedophile corruption that defines South Australian politics/polite society demands absolute pro-Paedophile corruption.*
And for some reason David Ridgway kept praising up our alleged RDA Tourism Development Officer Biddie (Tietz) Shearing amid expressing concerns that the Victorian Tourism authorities are promoting 'internal holidays' based on the great Ocean Rd, rather than 'flow-through' Tourism to Mt Gambier and beyond into South Australia...Vic Tourism wants locals to travel the GOR but head North through Western Vic and back around to whence they came...
(Well that's exactly what I'd be doing, encouraging locals to spend locally and promoting short holidays/visits from interstate, indeed didn't Tourism SA (whatevs?) have a 'Shorts' holiday program/promotion encouraging that in SA?-Ed)...I reckon you're right, on both counts...Mt Gambier must be promoted as the perfect overnight hub for Melbourne-Adelaide tourism with Regional holiday options based around the City, not as a re-fueling stop on the way to somewhere else...(what exactly does Regional Development Australia Tourism Development Officer Biddie (Tietz) Shearing do?-Ed)...absolutely no idea...(well that makes 2 of you then-Ed)...taboomtish...
