Howdy y'all and welcome to the blog...and yesterday (day before?) Australia was 4th on the 'Stats page' bit of countries where availees are, well, availing themselves of this here blog...hello Moldova, Turkey, and the United States of America...I'm genuinely surprised but equally pleased that there's something I'm doing to have people apparently all over the planet reading my blog...cheers and thankyou...
Apologies for no post yesterday but had a visitor (my child/young person)...(yay-Ed)... indeed, given the angry ol' arsehole I've been for 10 years and the other Mental Health issues that have all but destroyed my life, certainly taken a few years of it, I feel thoroughly blessed that my child still talks to me at all...took the opportunity to force myself to have that odd day off, as I was advised via an availee some time back, 'don't burn ya'self out, have some time off sometimes'...sage advice to make time for myself.
Also apologies if I mentioned any of this before, but Prime Minister Tony Abbott has been back in the news triumphantly supporting me in my time of need, by 1) claiming that his proposed changes to 'Support Benefits' will see a family earning $60,000 still get more SB than I get paid Disability Support Pension...(true, but there are many things that that family is expected to be doing with that money, eg, firstly lose a chunk in massive taxes, then still have a humungous mortgage, put kids through school, etc, and like all of us, try to cover the scandalously high utilities prices across the country and particularly here in SA-Ed)...fair enough.
We're So High Maintenance: I'd rather be doing none of it, and it's been far from perfect, but I haven't lost sight of the fact that, for example, with my Chemo I was subsidised by the state for most of it, and received a level of care that was not quite equal to Private Health Cover, eg, no private room, but still saved my life...I've done myself no favours by giving up, but the problems I've had with my knees are largely due to the rank incompetence of a disinterested GP and specialist, both alleged professionals, whom over a period of 4 years (arguably more but I'll stick with four) between them couldn't even organise me an appointment to get an appointment to get a MRI scan...pathetic.
But as with my Chemo treatment at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, when I did manage to get out of the dead-end whirlpool of Mt Gambier Health, via a different local GP, thankyou, and in this case into the mainstream Victorian system, bing bang bong and I'm assessed and scanned and it's go go go...but I covered this yesterday, moving on...
Abbott Does A Ranner:...(don't you mean 'runner'? he 'does a runner'-Ed)...no, Mr Abbott has a personal swathe of spin doctors/advisers/whatevs, some earning wages near his own, to a grand total of approx $4.3million...surround yourself with highly paid, like-minded, equally morally vacuous ideologues and sociopaths...(sorry what? ideologues and sociopaths, have we gone back to the Labor Party now?-Ed)...indeed....it's exactly what former South Australian Premier Mike Rann did, famous for having a personal army of approx 50 such parasites...using the public purse to employ people to maintain his control over them and avoid any repercussions...
This pales though compared to the nearly 100 'spin-doctors' working for Immigration Minister Scott Morrison helping him arrogantly bully and bluff his way through press conferences...I don't generally attack people for their physical appearance, but Scott Morrison's got that 'not a lot going on behind the rhetoric' look about him, that is, he can deny his way through prepared answers and statements, but doesn't look real quick on his feet.....
This is the 'Apple Cart Called Gravy Train' stuff, where the clearly corrupted structures of alleged authority in this country, fueled by Ideological and Ecclesiastical nutjobs who seem unable to not Abuse Children and then cover it up, and are dividing up 'The Lucky Country' for the benefit of mining companies and multi-nationals, eg, SA Labor and Geoff Brock and the unbridled lunacy of Fracking for Coal Shale/Seam Gas in the South East, lunacy mired in rank corruption and further exacerbated by the recent announcement that Beach Energy et al re Fracking, will not pay any Royalties back to the people of SA for 5 years.
Is there anything more corrupt than a State that is falling apart fiscally, yet will allow a company to just take our resources free of charge, whilst also allowing gross polluting of a relatively clean environment, particularly when all Utilities prices in SA are so extortionately high...we have a massive Resource Base in this state, much of it being harvested as we speak, and yet we have citizens sitting in the dark and the cold because they can't afford the power...it's not Socialist propaganda, it's a bloody fact, and in fact a bloody disgrace, Labor are a bloody disgrace.
I've got more genuine Socialism in my left nut than the entire South Australian Labor Party combined...Labor in South Australia is not a Socialist collective acting for the betterment of the community, it's a Criminal organisation apparently controlled by Paedophiles and wholly obsessed with self-perpetuation and protecting the pro-Paedophile culture that defines Adelaide...but I digress...
What I Find Unsettling: is our charming PMs capacity to expose his real persona/ideology in public but refuse to accept responsibility for any of it or apologise let alone admit he's wrong, and just plough ahead with pig-ignorant arrogance...I'm not even going to try to describe his effort from Saturday (Friday?) where he dismisses concerns about 'Foreign Investment' with the example that the British occupation of Australia just over 200 years ago, was 'massive foreign investment in an unsettled land'...and you can see the point where he realises it's going wrong but he just won't stop.
You can literally hear the cogs clunking round as he says what he really thinks, Oz was 'unsettled', but realises that what he's saying is grossly offensive...you can almost hear him thinking 'damn, those bleedin' heart Lefties will be all up in arms if I say that'...but he doesn't stop, he just keeps on going...I don't like the man, but this footage is genuinely chilling, and shows just how much of Tony Abbott he and his army of advisors are trying to keep well hidden...(and with good reason-Ed)...
Which segues a little bit too neatly into the fabulous glossy 8 page, A4 report/brochure I just received from Member for Barker Tony Pasin telling me all sorts of great stuff about the wonderful things that the Libs are doing...(yay-Ed)...to repair all the damage those horrid Labor did...(boooo-Ed)...indeed...I really appreciate the effort that Mr Pasin has gone to to keep me informed thusly, pity he couldn't find time to respond to my recent emails re the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up...(ouch-Ed)...
Mr Tony Pasin is just another local civic leader who has known about the St Martins Cover-up pretty much since it happened, yet has turned his back on it because it doesn't suit his personal political ambitions...and one can of course bulge that basket with Mt Gambier Mayor Steve Perryman, serial Labor candidates Jim and Viv Maher, Wattle Range Mayor Peter Gandolfi, etc, etc...but of course one also needs another bucket of muck entirely separate for the likes of Rory McEwen, the man at the heart of the St Martins Cover-up.
But they ain't Robinson Crusoe, eg, some 114 files from the 1980s British government's 'Paedophilia report' are simply 'missing' amid claims that the report exposed serial abusers operating at the heads of government, etc, and that this loss could be (is) a Cover-up driven by the ideology that 'the system must be protected'...
And as we enter NAIDOC Week (National Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Day of Celebration) isn't it great to hear another white man talking about how we have a right to decide who comes here re the Australian government handing Sri Lankan asylum seekers trying to come to Oz by boat (2 boats?), back to the Sri Lankan navy, at sea...returning them to the country they're seeking asylum from...that was new Liberal Democrat Senator David Leyonhelm...
Listening to a report stating that Electricity prices in SA have risen 70% in 5 years...70% in 5 years.
