Howdy y'all and welcome to the blog for yet another round of baffling bollocks that one could not create even if one were so predisposed...of all the issues I've covered on this 'ere blog, a regular topic has been the farcical yet simultaneously terrifyingly powerful nature of South Australia's version of an Independent Commission Against Corruption, and how our ICAC has been established by the Weatherill/Labor government with complicit Liberal support, to 1) hide high-level corruption, and thus 2) protect the corrupt...(and why not start at the top?-Ed)...well indeed, yes, when one is covering-up institutionalised pro-paedophile corruption in South Australia, one starts with the Premier, then runs through all Ministers, Department heads, Backbenchers, then the pathetic Liberal Opposition, onto SAPol (police) hierarchy, etc, etc...
(And actually we don't really need the ICAC to cover-up the paedophile corruption that defines South Australian politics, because we have SAPol and an entirely corrupt State Parliament doing all that already-Ed)...true, good point...(and when, for example, the evidence trail in a Child Rape Cover-up really hit the fan and sprayed all over Premier Jay Weatherill's desk, The J-Man just instigated yet another corrupt Royal Commission to cover that up-Ed)...you are of course referring to the absolutely farcical DeBelle Inquiry...(yes, the Royal Commission put in place by Jay to cover-up Jay's involvement in the cover-up of the rape of an 8 year old in a school-Ed)...and a very successful RC in that context 'cos Comm DeBelle followed the paper-trail right into Jay's computer, right there on Jay's desk, and then shazzam! made it all just disappear...(that's just wizard...good ol' SA-Ed)...
And of course there's the perpetual pro-paedophile attitudes and resultant corruption of SA Parliament, the most obvious example I can think of being the 2008-2011 SARC Inquiry no.52 (into the Teachers Registration Board), an Inquiry that we parents 1) forced from a reluctant Parliament, and then 2) provided extensive submissions and reams of documentation, and even 3) attended at their hearings in Adelaide to give personal testimony...(as did one of the very courageous children-Ed)...indeed, even one of the kids gave evidence to this pack of scumbags whom call themselves 'Honourable'...(pathetic isn't it-Ed)...and then the SARC produced Report no.52, a deliberately error-riddled piece of dross that exonerates all involved...
And the Bernard Finnigan Child Pornography Trial continues to remain 'disappeared' off the radar, over 5 weeks after the single judge retired to consider the evidence of the single SAPol (police) witness, re the 2 remaining charges...whilst the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up is clearly indicative of how paedophiles and pro-paedophile ideals control South Australia's Parliament, Police, Judiciary, Public Service, etc, it could be argued that it has occurred largely behind the scenes and therefore the public are largely unawares, but the Finnigan stuff has been front and centre over and over, 30 hearings over a 4 year period and then just disappears, then another hearing, disappears again, etc...this is the SA Courts for you...
Then last evening on Channel 7's Today Tonight program they ran a
long article about the Authority that's supposedly gunna' sort out all this corruption, our ICAC and ICAC Commissioner Bruce Lander,
including interviews with senior New South Wales legal figures involved with NSW ICAC, etc, who described our ICAC as 'the opposite' to theirs, and a "toothless tiger"...this program ran for over 10 minutes about the ICAC's alleged investigation of Labor Minister Jennifer Rankine and her 'dealings' in creating a high-paying position for her mate, including running 'round the planet in Business Class, etc, etc...(let me guess, everything's fine, everyone's exonerated, and everything's suppressed-Ed)...if we were playing darts you scored 180 (3 triple 20s)...all fine, all exonerated, all suppressed...
Because all the Race Course stuff below has pushed this ICAC story down the line a bit, I'm gunna' flail this li'l bunny a whole bunch more tomorrow...but for now, this...
Where's The Fire?: because SA Labor/Minister Tony Piccolo has suddenly dumped their/his Emergency Services Merger Plan bollocks like it was a fistful of very hot potato's...(what? this nonsense about a new ES Overlord/Commissioner controlling all services, etc, nonsense that they've been shoving down the collective throats of the 3 groups involved (Metropolitan Fire Service, the Country Fire Service, and the State Emergency Service) for at least 6 months, you mean that 'plan'?-Ed)...that's the one...and I don't believe for a moment that it's a case of Labor listening to the wall of opposition from the Services and general public, other than they know that they're staring down the barrel at a massive and humiliating failure to again ram things down our throats...and Labor swore blue in the face that we/they were past the 'Declare and Defend' governing that has defined their now 13 year term in office...
OMG: it's a new logo for Mt Gambier and a revamped website and this is going to rocket us into the global consciousness apparently, all for $25,000...can't believe I'm complaining about Council not spending enough on something, but consider the lunacy of $500,000 for lights around the Blue Lake, nearly $700,000 for the ludicrous Volcano movie, etc, etc, and only $25k for 'global branding'...(and the design is really not good, not good at all-Ed)...whatevs...furthermore, it's likely less than Mayor Andrew Lee and CEO Mark McShane will spend on their little sojourn to China this week..(yay-Ed)...and we're off to the races...
Very Poor Form: indeed from the Mt Gambier Racing Club re the debacle that has become the Glenburnie Racecourse and the Mt G GeeGees, leading to yet another race meeting being cancelled there...I wasn't going to touch this really because I recognise that this cancellation is a terrible outcome for Mt Gambier in general, and whilst the geegees don't rock my world, all things geegee are very important to many people...however, on Friday May 15th 2015 the very important Mt Gambier Gold Cup (along with 4 other races) was scrapped for safety reasons re the very poor condition of the track, and the condition of the track is 100% the responsibility of the Race Club...and yet, the dialogue coming from the Race Club is that it was the jockey's fault...(omg, you are shreckin' kiddin' me?-Ed))...wish I was...
Attacking The Little Man: or woman who is a jockey because they were the ones whom expressed concerns for their own and their mounts safety on the 'slippery' track...(the selfish bastards, fancy having very real concerns for your own safety in what is clearly already a very dangerous workplace, and the associated safety of the horse you're riding, and for generally not wanting to get trampled to death for the sake of a pointless horse race...selfish bastards-Ed)...and better still...(somehow I knew it would be-Ed)...according to the bleating comin' outta the Race Club, it's not just 'the jockey's fault', but these 'jockeys' were all from Adelaide...(oh, well, why didn't you say?...'Adelaide jockeys', them damn outta-towners tellin' us our business-Ed)...well indeed...
And a beautiful albeit fleeting segue into a personal observation about the ongoing attempts to denigrate and demonise me, abuse and criticism that includes great swathes of 'he's not even from here, who the hell does he think he is comin' here and tellin' us what to do?'...(seriously?-Ed)...yes, this is what I hear here and there time and again, it's been mentioned to me several times...(but surely you spend the vast majority of your time tellin' Council et al what not to do?...'hey, stop being so corrupt', and, 'oi, don't rort the Ratepayers monies'...ya' know, all that sortta' stuff-Ed)...you make your point well Ed...
(A question...you state that this is "...yet another race meeting being cancelled there...", but I've heard repeated statements that this is the first time the Gold Cup has been called-off-Ed)...very clever wording isn't it, almost like the Race Club was/is carefully trying to avoid the unpleasant reality that yes, this is the first Gold Cup cancelled because of the track condition, but it's not the first races/meeting to be cancelled/scrapped/moved because of the track, and only 3 (4?) years back a whole meeting was moved to Keith (210kms from Mt Gambier) and then cancelled anyway because a storm system stopped the steward's plane leaving Adelaide...no Stewards, no races...(ouch-Ed)...
The facts are that there has been almost no rain across Spring/Summer, rolling into a dry Autumn with barely average rainfalls, and yet the Mt Gambier Racecourse can't even handle that, can't handle average rainfall spread over weeks...this has repeatedly led to races/meetings being cancelled/scrapped and/or moved, and in that recent case, moved only then to be cancelled anyway...and the Race Club is saying 'that's just fine' and 'it's the jockey's fault', etc...disgraceful...it's Mt Gambier and it rains, hopefully a lot, and therefore this will happen again...(well I think the Race Club should shreckin' well suck-it-up and stop blaming others for what is clearly problems with the track, and therefore the responsibility of the Race Club-Ed)...damn straight...(and very damp turns apparently, that's the problem-Ed)...clever...fix the bloody track before Mt Gambier loses that carnival as well...
Think I'm over-reacting talking about losing the Carnival altogether because the track isn't basically safe and/or reliable?...I ain't the only one talking about it...why would trainers/owners/caterers/whatevs go to all the trouble and expense of gettin' involved when there's a distinct possibility that it ain't gunna' happen and they'll all do their dough?...and does anyone here remember the International Tennis Tournament that Mt Gambier lost (to Pt Pirie?) only a coupla' years back because our incompetent Council couldn't even maintain the courts to a safe standard?...anyone?...and then Mayor Steve Perryman went into the local media sayin', 'no probs, it's no biggie, didn't make us much money, whatevs', etc, etc...(well I for one remember that appalling 'give-a-stuff' attitude/interview...at the very least, that tournament was International Advertising for Mt Gambier that you just can't buy, and now it's gone, never to return...idiots-Ed)...
Possibly Apologising: because I thought that I saw it reported that that prime piece of corrupt, betraying scummery known as Martin Hamilton-Smith (elected Liberal, skulked across to Labor, betrayer, scumbag, etc, etc) was scooting off to China with all the other dodgy public officials we're paying to junket-on-over there, but today I read that he's off to Europe at our expense, apparently to tour submarine facilities re the Adelaide Submarine Corp...(well I for one think it's wonderful that Mighty Marty Moose is profitting so substantially from his corruption and betrayal, because he's clearly worked very hard on making sure he does alright, albeit at the expense of everyone else in the state...I'd hate to think that such a rancid turncoat wouldn't profit from their greed and corruption-Ed)...indeed, why aspire to a career in SA politics if you can't personally profit from your own corruption?...

From The Sublime To The Pleadin' Ridiculous
Hello Japan, Russia, Aotearoa (New Zealand) and Germany and welcome to the blog...and I'm gunna' kick-off with a quick dot-pointing of the Court stuff re the alleged 'charges' that I'm facing...again, due to the random, haphazard, and entirely undefined nature of the legislation that is being wielded against me, I've chosen to follow my lawyer's request to err well on the side of caution...I also appreciate the position they are in, trying to define and apply a swathe of ludicrously vague yet sweeping legislation, and that me chirping away about these issues on this 'ere blog may serve to further complicate matters...again, in this context, I choose to follow that specific advice/request to rein things in a bit...
And a quick shout-out to those wondering about other topics I've covered in previous posts...I remain absolutely opposed to the lunacy of Fracking, anywhere, but in the South East with our massive Aquifer at risk, it's just moronic bastardry...I tried over a year ago to engage with Anti-Frackers from Penola, and was told ever-so politely to sod-off, they've got it covered...Wind Turbines remain an unreliable almost farcical novelty that are an economic millstone around our collective necks, and the legislation in South Australia denying Citizens any Rights of Appeal at any level, that is unadulterated Fascism...whatevs the issue, the State using legislation to deny Citizens access to the Courts, is Fascism...
I remind availees that in June 2012 I (like several others) drove to Portland (in my case via the Turbines at the nearby Bridgewater Bay, a round trip of over 250kms, mostly in the dark) to attend that particular Wind Turbine meeting, and stood up and gave an impassioned speech from the floor about our charming legislation, named it as Fascism, received a rousing round of applause fa' me troubles guvna', and then Pacific Hydro's rep on the night, Lane Crockett, said openly that he agreed that the 2011 Development Plan Amendment legislation in SA was/is 'unfair on non-host residents', etc, and all of this was reported very positively in the Portland Observer the next day, front page, especially my rant and Mr Crockett's acknowledgement...please see my early posts on the Wind Turbine issue...
There are also the issues of critical mass in that 1) these issues and many others already have many people involved, so I have tended to try and address the horrendously inappropriate issues that have slammed into my lap over recent years...(you mean like the rank, institutionalised, pro-paedophile corruption evident in the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up, or the rank Nepotism, Insider Trading, and gross corruption of appropriate process witnessed in the perpetual shenanigans of Mt Gambier City Council?-Ed)...yeah, just like that...things that others aren't doing anything about...beyond that I ask that ma' peeps bear with me through what is now very much about 'Blogging' full-stop...
2) As others have put to me and as is my personal belief, my Court case has reached a 'critical mass', in that it is now no longer solely about me, this is now about the State's ability to control 'Blogging', and in that context, the ability to stop 'Blogging' altogether...it has been said to me that, 1) yes, whilst this is clearly about just 'getting me' regardless, 2) given the 'test-case' or 'precedent' nature of the case combined with 3) the subject of the issue, 'Blogging', that 4) this Court case has moved well beyond 'me' to a point where it is now about stopping 'Blogging' in South Australia, and that therefore 5) I have a responsibility to all 'Bloggers'/Citizens/whatevs to not root this-up and hand the State exactly what it wants, a way to stop 'Blogging'...and in that context I can only ask that availees bear with me 'cos there's a shreck-load of stuff goin' on here that I simply cannot discuss at the moment...
I'll just also note the randomly haphazard and unprofessional manner in which my case has been handled thus far, grossly inappropriate conduct magnified exponentially by the seriousness and precedent nature of the issue, and the massive and extraordinary, almost total powers indicated of the Authority (that I'm not at liberty to identify 'cos that itself 'might be' a breach of this Authority's legislation)...(where wow meets strewth-Ed)...that despite the freakishly frightening power that this Authority already wields and as shall only be further massively increased if the charges against me are proven, the prosecution of the case against me has been all over the shop, thrown out of the Mall, and is currently out in the carpark kicking a buses hubcap for looking at it the wrong way...(you're saying that it's somewhat unhinged and incoherent-Ed)...somewhat...
(Could we just go back a fraction?-Ed)...sure, what's buggin' ya' matey?...(well, when you said "...rein things in a bit"?...you mean like in the last post where you referred to "...a phalanx of corrupt public officials...", and then caned the local media for their corruption, etc, etc...you mean rein it in a bit like that?-Ed)...yeah, exactly like that...and in that context, again, I have sought specific advice as to what I can and/or can't post, and have been directed that talking about things that happen in public spaces, eg, the open Court, eg, things like the SAPol officer handing my lawyer a large roll of documents as we're sitting down in the Court for the latest hearing, that's cool...(and I'd assume that addressing the repeated multiple and in many cases deliberate distortions/deletions/deceits in The Border Watch as they try to grind their axe by slamming it repeatedly into a slab of angry granite named Nick, all a' that's in play, yeah?-Ed)...absolutely...indeed, it would be remiss of me to not correct the record on behalf of TBW...
I repeat, that I have still not received any specific and/or written direction from the Court, SAPol (police), or even my lawyer as to what I can and can't say here on the blog and/or elsewhere...(but this whole farce is about what you can and can't say, particularly on your blog-Ed)...yep...(so surely proper direction on that issue is critical-Ed)...well absolutely, which is why I believe that it's a deliberate failure in the context that the State of South Australia and it's various Agencies/Authorities/whatevs are clearly just out to get me regardless and at any cost...(and having failed to do that thus far, even with all of this 'charges' lunacy and extensive investigation, etc, they're just gunna' leave ya' hangin' out there in the hope that you shreck-up in the interim so that they can then go ya' for that instead?-Ed)...are you sure that's not my hymn book you're singin' from?...
If I may use the 'bunny' metaphor yet again, only this time about meself, where I'm the bunny and I'm settin' right in the middle of a dirty great autobahn/freeway thingy, and there's a wall of semi-trailers slewing and swerving and sliding and turning and twisting and all the whilst barrelling toward me, and the single-best strategy for my own survival would appear to be to stand perfectly still, stand my ground, and what shall be shall be...but even then that bunny ain't cowering frozen in fear, it's standing there with a furry digit extended...(ooo, angry bunny-Ed)...a bit, yeah, for sure, but an angry bunny hopping to improve things...get it? Because of the rambling pre-ambling of previous paragraphs. I'll get the Court hearing stuff started and just run into the next post, etc...gettin' it done as best I can...so...
1) We (me an' me legal eagle) walk in to the Courtroom and sit down and immediately across comes the SAPol prosecutor/officer and hands my lawyer a thick roll of documents...this was apparently at least part of the 'Discovery of Documents', etc, as ordered by the Court at the last hearing (April 14th 2015)...(hang on-Ed)...slow down, way ahead of you buddy, yes, Discovery was ordered by the Court in April but then only done by SAPol in the Court as the session started last Tuesday 12th May 2015, and yes, why was this Discovery only done minutes before the hearing started?...
(I'd go further and say/ask, 'how can the hearing even begin before you've been supplied all of this documentation and had a chance to avail ya'self of a lawyer's advice, etc?...it's just nonsense...it's almost like that was a performance for public/media consumption to make it look like they're goin' through all the right procedures, etc, ie, 'here, check us out handing over this huge wad of documents that show how hard we've been working and what a massive case we have against him', etc, etc, you know the sort of thing?-Ed)...I do Ed, and I agree up to a point on all the points you've raised, but I believe there's more to it than that...
(More?...if I may?-Ed)...please...(on May 7th/8th 2014 2 SAPol Anti-Corruption detectives from Adelaide came to your home, then the next day came back and very politely raided you, seizing your laptop and repeatedly stating "expect to be charged", then you didn't hear squat from SAPol until reading about your own hearing in The Border Watch the day after it happened (February 2015)-Ed)...all true, yes, but what's your point?...(and then SAPol didn't even Summons you to that first hearing, and now, 4 hearings in, they're still handing over files/statements/whatevs re their alleged case...it's farcical-Ed)...again, we agree, but your point is?...(well, in open Court, in front of the TBW and ABC reporters present, SAPol have been seen to be still handing over documents that you should have had 6 months ago, etc, so if you haven't even seen those documents/statements/allegations, how can you plead 'Not Guilty'? how can you plead to anything if you're yet to see the full case/allegations/whatevs?-Ed)...
Excellent question Ed, and a point I raised effervescently with my lawyer when advised that I needed to plead something at this May 12th 2015 hearing...indeed, I initially refused to plead, due to the Discovery failures by SAPol...but, strictly following my lawyers advise, I entered a plea, and my default choice of plea was obviously 'Not Guilty', albeit equally obviously a plea entered not knowing exactly what it was/is that I was/am pleading to having not done...(I got one of those headaches comin' on again-Ed)...no-one would blame you mate, it's in equal measure mind-boggling and mind-numbing...more tomorrow...

1) We (me an' me legal eagle) walk in to the Courtroom and sit down and immediately across comes the SAPol prosecutor/officer and hands my lawyer a thick roll of documents...this was apparently at least part of the 'Discovery of Documents', etc, as ordered by the Court at the last hearing (April 14th 2015)...(hang on-Ed)...slow down, way ahead of you buddy, yes, Discovery was ordered by the Court in April but then only done by SAPol in the Court as the session started last Tuesday 12th May 2015, and yes, why was this Discovery only done minutes before the hearing started?...
(I'd go further and say/ask, 'how can the hearing even begin before you've been supplied all of this documentation and had a chance to avail ya'self of a lawyer's advice, etc?...it's just nonsense...it's almost like that was a performance for public/media consumption to make it look like they're goin' through all the right procedures, etc, ie, 'here, check us out handing over this huge wad of documents that show how hard we've been working and what a massive case we have against him', etc, etc, you know the sort of thing?-Ed)...I do Ed, and I agree up to a point on all the points you've raised, but I believe there's more to it than that...

Excellent question Ed, and a point I raised effervescently with my lawyer when advised that I needed to plead something at this May 12th 2015 hearing...indeed, I initially refused to plead, due to the Discovery failures by SAPol...but, strictly following my lawyers advise, I entered a plea, and my default choice of plea was obviously 'Not Guilty', albeit equally obviously a plea entered not knowing exactly what it was/is that I was/am pleading to having not done...(I got one of those headaches comin' on again-Ed)...no-one would blame you mate, it's in equal measure mind-boggling and mind-numbing...more tomorrow...

Apologies, I Was Wrong, It Is About Me
Hello Ukraine, the USofA, Romania, and the UK and welcome y'all to this 'ere blog...in many recent posts I've tried to define the fine line between posting stuff about me and me posting about stuff, and repeatedly run into the conclusion that in many places that line simply doesn't exist anymore if it ever did, in others it is so smudged and smeared that it's near impossible to say where it really lies, where it starts, where it finishes, and elsewhere it has been erased, eg, by the corrupted reporting about me in the local media...(I'm not seeing a lot of line left-Ed)...nah, there's a bit just here, look...(umm, sorry, that's not your line, that's where I drew a line in the sand earlier-Ed)...ah well, I'll come and stand here then, with you, next to this line in the sand...
*and my computer just suddenly decided to 're-boot' itself dumping the last 2 hours work, again...(that's happening a lot lately...almost like someone's on here deliberately deleting/dumping stuff-Ed)...almost...and bingo, right on cue, as I try to manually save, yet another "network error" notice bobs-up telling me that 'another computer with the same IP address is currently on this network'...* (twice today now)
**I also wish to identify that this post is presented heavily censored as I defer to my legal advice (that the whole situation is so confusing, the Act is so poorly defined, etc) that it is prudent to err on the side of extreme caution...I choose to follow that advice not least of all because I know that all involved are just hangin' to slam me with a Contempt of Court charge or another bizarrely nonsensical breach of the bizarrely nonsensical Act, or just whatevs...
I also note that, despite the whole case being about 'talking about stuff ya' not allowed to', I have received no specific directions from SAPol (police) or the Courts about what I can and can't say...(that's because they just want to leave it wide open in the hope that you stray into some area they can try to get you for-Ed)...that'd be my reading of the situation Ed...anyhoos, the very limited stuff I have posted today re my Court case is with the specific directions/advice/approval of my lawyer, and thusly I'm sticking strictly to the matters as played-out in open Court, and even then deliberately avoiding some stuff...
And some vague apology for no post yesterday but I couldn't be bothered, and I'm revelling in the rare air of not being bothered about that not being bothered...given all that's happened lately, the bizarre happenings of this week have lifted me to a point where I genuinely feel that I've actually achieved something with this 'ere blog, and that's a hugely cathartic and releasing realisation...(and when you say 'bizarre...this week' you are of course referring to your latest Court appearance re these 'charges' of talking about stuff-Ed)...indeed I am Ed, my latest hearing on Tuesday May 12th 2015...if you think this shizzle's been bizarre thus far, what's happened this week makes Bizarre the last station on the outer trunk line, where you put on ya' best hiking boots before trekking-off into the undefined wilderness beyond...(I may be gone for quite some time-Ed)...indeed...
And I'd just like to point out that I cannot even identify the Act under which I'm being 'charged', because that would then identify the Authority involved and it's involvement and that is apparently a breach of the Act...(so you can't identify the Authority or the Act that authorises that Authority to act, because identifying that the Authority enacted to action that Act has actually acted, and/or identifying the Act itself, both and/or either identifies that the Authority has acted to do what it's supposed to do, and that's a breach of the Act?-Ed)...even after the Authority has supposedly acted to do what it's authorised to do and completely exonerated everybody involved of absolutely everything, including things they haven't even been accused of...(my head hurts-Ed)...well take a coupla' Panadol or somethin' and harden the shreck-up 'cos we're just kickin' off buddy...
How is it that I can be facing 'charges' for just talking about this stuff yet The Border Watch newspaper can report that I am in Court, "...on a charge relating to the publication of information about a person subject to a complaint.", which identifies the legislation therefore the Authority therefore that the Authority has acted therefore TBW has breached the Act by reporting it...(omg-Ed)...and how can the case be heard in open Court in front of a room full of random strangers...(yeah, fair enough, but you'd need to have a fairly specific understanding/knowledge of the Act to make the connection clearly described by TBW-Ed)...indeed, but on Tuesday 12th May 2015, for whatever reason, the Magistrate read out in full the first of the 20 'charges' (22?-still not sure) that I'm allegedly facing, a 'charge' which includes the full title of the Act which itself includes the full name of the Authority and verbatim wording of the identified section that I've allegedly breached...
(Hang on...in open Court, in front of a dozen+ randoms and various lawyers, with reporters from TBW and the ABC settin' right there, the Magistrate read out in full one of the 'charges' that in it's wording identifies the Act and the Authority and identifies and quotes verbatim the actual wording of the actual section of the Act?-Ed)...yep...(in open Court?-Ed)...yep...(and yet, you whom what is facing them 'charges', you've been advised that you probably shouldn't/cannot/whatevs even identify those charges because that may be a breach of that Act?-Ed)...yep...(I can see how you might start to feel that it's a little bit about you-Ed)...yep...('yep'?...is that all you've got to say for yourself not so young man?-Ed)...nope...

It is simply ludicrous to believe that these 'public officials' who behave so corruptly and selfishly whilst functioning right here in their own Council Chambers, Parliament, etc, right here in the heart of their own communities, who treat their own communities with such bare-faced contempt...(who rabidly attack anyone who speaks out with genuine intent, eg, the way they attacked and denigrated that young mum who asked for drainage ponds to be made a little less 'drowny'-Ed)...exactly, Ed, a perfect local example...a concerned young woman who was viciously attacked by City Council, in the good 'ol TBW (reckon it was front page, not sure) for expressing very real, very genuine concerns about these seasonal drowning hazards as constructed in Residential areas by Council...the same Council that then skulked-off behind the scenes and quietly re-engineered those exact ponds...(and never apologised to the woman-Ed)...apologise? Ed, come on, look at who we're talking about...a pack of self-infatuated middle-aged white men...(you'd know-Ed)...who are wholly committed to their own wonderfulness and why that makes it ok for them to be corrupt and rip-off Ratepayers/taxpayers/whatevs...

The Columns Of Pillory - TMGI 2.0
Hello Singapore, China, Macau, and Greece and welcome to the blog as I try to get back onto a nearly post-a-day routine, roughly say, 5 posts a week, as being sortta' like a proper job...and of course I continue to try to be as accurate as possible, and if I do say so myself, a bit humourous where possible...just like to praise myself-up a bit for some of the recent posts that I've previously bad-mouthed 'cos I re-read a couple and they're not that bad after all...(I like the NSW Health spokes-Rastafarian bit re the man charged with dealing Marijuana, who's defense was that he was selling to hospitals/Chemo patients, etc...I like it for being amusing yet respectful of those getting treatment in a context where you're directing attention to the very clearly defined and broad-based acknowledgement and application of Medicinal Marijuana...because it works-Ed)...right on man...
I liked the piece we did with 'The Punchline' and the whole 'Extra-Genitational Support/Joe Hockey Strap/Warren Truss stuff', and added to that, the stuff about seeing 'The Punchline' appear a mile off on 'One Mile Ridge Rd', etc...a whole series of terrible puns and a lovely day-trip around the Dead Joke Zone...(yep, great stuff-Ed)...and thanks for the feedback, apparently some appreciated the pieces about Joe Hockey and the 'keep on going Joe' bit and smokin' Joe's Liberal colleague Tony Pasin saying, 'I get up early and I steal...'...also, again, someone complimented me/commented on the carefully crafted word-carnage I unleashed in a few short sentences back in August 2013 re my response to 'Comments' left on the blog at that time...(oh, you mean when that gutless prick was comin' onto the blog anonymously as 'Dick Stretcher' and leavin' really vile, bigotted, abusive and clearly defamatory comments about all and sundry, basically slandering and abusing you and anyone who knew you and/or lived near you?-Ed)...yeah, that's the one...and my fictional paragraphs about knowing who DS was/is, and the very level threat conjured from thin air, "who's in the shadows now, dickhead?"...(classic-Ed)...
And that's why it's a shortish post, because I'd like to ask that availees go to 'Comments' and read/re-read through that stuff as being yet another example of 1) the sort of bigotry and discrimination I've put-up with ever since I moved to Mt Gambier, and 2) how I'm the one acting with relative appropriateness and respect and honesty and accuracy and the common decency and conviction of my beliefs that I put my name to everything I do...am I Nick Fletcher? damn straight I am...anyhoos, please read those 'Comments' and call it this weeks homework...cheers...
I thought that a 'Meme' (cutesy photo with hilarious title/slogan/comment) was a one of those 'double-selfies' photo thingies...(whaaa?-Ed)...you know, where people take photos of themselves taking photos of themselves, a 'me me'...(nah, I get it, a 'me me', everyone look at me, but I guess that's what a selfie is basically-Ed)...exactly, 'what's wrong with this photo? I'm not in it'...and I suppose that means that a 'selfie-stick' is not what you beat a 'selfier' with as they mill moronically about snapping pouty pics of themselves...(yeah, sorry, it's a small hand-held extendable pole with a cradle thingy that holds a phone/camera on the other end, used for panoramic shots, groups, etc-Ed)...you just don't want me to have any fun at all, do you?...(nuthin' to do with me mate, just the way it is-Ed)...fair enough, moving on...
And the Bernard Finnigan trial continues to, well, continue...(say what the? didn't the Magistrate retire 3 weeks ago to consider his verdict re the evidence of the only witness, a SAPol (police) 'electronics expert' ?-Ed)...well, if you call sittin' and watchin' Child Porn for 3 weeks 'retiring', then yes I guess that's what's still happening...well over a month after the alleged trial began the entire case has just disappeared off the media cycle...to recount, Mt Gambier based Bernie was the Labor Acting Police Minister in April 2011 when SAPol (police) officers/detectives raided his Adelaide home and arrested him for 2 dozen charges re Child Pornography, and 4 years and 30 hearings/adjournments later, after multiple changes to the charges, in different Courts before multiple Magistrates, he's finally faced only 2 charges in a closed Court before a single Magistrate with one witness and it's all suppressed...(wow-Ed)...
And reviewing some of the news stories and did another Interweb search about this wholly corrupt pro-paedophile pantomime of a trial, and there's still nothing past April 19th 2015, but I did run into a TV news story that I hadn't seen before, and it explained why the single Magistrate hearing the case ordered suppression of the website names/addresses that Bernie has been specifically charged with accessing...(dare I ask?-Ed)...because 'at least one of them would direct/allow others to immediately access Child Pornography'...(wow...because if people type-in that address/term/whatevs, it immediately takes them to Child Porn...isn't that what he's charged with?-Ed)...yep, and his defense has been that the 'terms' aren't specifically indicative of trying to access Child Porn..(the same 'search terms' that the Court has suppressed as leading directly to Child Porn?-Ed)...yep...

More Or Less Mental As: as the new 6 bed designated Mental Health Unit at Mt Gambier Hospital is now allegedly due to open in late June rather than the April just gone...(but wasn't Country Health SA on the ABC only a few months back stating that everything was go go baby and staff were all lined-up, etc, etc, and now it's what, late June?-Ed)...yep, apparently CH SA is just so concerned that Mt Gambier gets 'the most appropriate staff, the right people because of the pressure', etc, that they haven't actually recruited anyone specifically...well except for a psychiatrist who's signed-up for a whole 3 months...
And then this morning, another atrocious ABC 'Dorothy Dixer' interview with the CH SA representative that strolled around the realities/problems of recruiting any personnel and failed to hold her to account for the appalling state of services across the board, but particularly with Mental Health Services and this alleged unit...she kept referring to 'an integrated system with Whyalla and Berri'...only last week the ABC ran concurrent pathetic 'don't worry, be happy' interviews about Drug/Alcohol Services and Mental Health services, and the upshot was that these were effectively phone services with very occasional and spasmodic contacts...the whole tone of these interviews was about how things are great because there are these services available, but there was nothing about full-time services, emergency treatment, eg, an 'Ice-psychosis' episode, the new unit, etc...and then this morning, this nonsense about staffing...
I have long maintained that the ABC Local Radio is absolutely critical because of Mt Gambier's isolation and irrelevance to Adelaide, etc, but it's this sort of deliberate deceit and manipulation of the realities that make the ABC more the problem than they are the solution...local senior ABC staff clearly are far more committed to their personal advancement than their alleged and oft spoken-of affection for their communities...if they genuinely care so much, why be so complicit in the community-destroying corruption that they know is happening?...(well that's a rhetorical question, surely? you just answered that, these people are loyal to themselves and each other and their precious little ABC empire and then us plebs are exactly that to them...and is there anything more sickening than their affected, confected fascination and concerns for their community?-Ed)...indeed, sincerity faked to perfection in a moderate hotbed of corruption...(nice-Ed)...

Paranoid People Are Watching Me, Listen...
Hello and welcome to the blog Aotearoa (New Zealand), Ukraine, France and Italy...and no time for niceties today because, whilst I'm going to try and grind-out a post-a-day in whatevs way is necessary, there's a bunch of stuff to catch-up on because I've missed so many days...(and then along comes stuff like yesterday's (*Monday May 4th) interviews on the ABC Local Radio about WorkCover and the Emergency Service Workers and/or the ES Levy, and I could just see your distemper rising, and I for one knew exactly where this post was headed-Ed)...and so away we go...
Feedback: re some 'recent' conversations I've had, namely,
1) re the attached articles from The Border Watch newspaper, and the coverage of my 'trial' as compared to the coverage afforded former Labor Acting-Police Minister Bernard Finnigan and his Child Pornography charges...this person wasn't reading the blog at that time, but coincidentally paraphrased my posts with their views about how inappropriate it was to put me in 3 times, including page 2 with a photo, etc, and Bernie gets a vague piece on page 7...the third story about me is riddled with the usual deliberate lies, and errors that in places contradict themselves...
For example, the paragraphs "The defendant..." and "At the time..." refer to the initial hearing (February 2nd 2015) that I wasn't aware of because I wasn't summonsed by SAPol (police)...(as acknowledged by the Court at the hearing April 14th 2015 but ignored by TBW-Ed)...indeed...and has me supposedly claiming that I didn't know about that February hearing via a lawyer who was at that February hearing that I was claiming via that lawyer, to not know about...(wow, even if any of it was true, it still doesn't make sense-Ed)...indeed...cutting-edge nonsensical dribble...
I note that a 'senior Adelaide medical practitioner' has just been convicted of 'one charge of possessing Child Pornography re 18 files found on his computer'...and he gets a 16 month gaol term fully suspended, $1500 of fines, suspended from work for only 6 months, and then the Magistrate suppresses his name because identifying him might not be 'fair on his psychological state'...(so, only one charge relating to heaps of stuff, no gaol time, a fine that's less than a weeks income for a medico, and his name suppressed, and back to work...sweet baby cheeses, that'll teach him to access Child Porn in this state that takes protecting children so seriously that we even have a Minister for it-Ed).....we do?...

1) re the attached articles from The Border Watch newspaper, and the coverage of my 'trial' as compared to the coverage afforded former Labor Acting-Police Minister Bernard Finnigan and his Child Pornography charges...this person wasn't reading the blog at that time, but coincidentally paraphrased my posts with their views about how inappropriate it was to put me in 3 times, including page 2 with a photo, etc, and Bernie gets a vague piece on page 7...the third story about me is riddled with the usual deliberate lies, and errors that in places contradict themselves...
For example, the paragraphs "The defendant..." and "At the time..." refer to the initial hearing (February 2nd 2015) that I wasn't aware of because I wasn't summonsed by SAPol (police)...(as acknowledged by the Court at the hearing April 14th 2015 but ignored by TBW-Ed)...indeed...and has me supposedly claiming that I didn't know about that February hearing via a lawyer who was at that February hearing that I was claiming via that lawyer, to not know about...(wow, even if any of it was true, it still doesn't make sense-Ed)...indeed...cutting-edge nonsensical dribble...
I note that a 'senior Adelaide medical practitioner' has just been convicted of 'one charge of possessing Child Pornography re 18 files found on his computer'...and he gets a 16 month gaol term fully suspended, $1500 of fines, suspended from work for only 6 months, and then the Magistrate suppresses his name because identifying him might not be 'fair on his psychological state'...(so, only one charge relating to heaps of stuff, no gaol time, a fine that's less than a weeks income for a medico, and his name suppressed, and back to work...sweet baby cheeses, that'll teach him to access Child Porn in this state that takes protecting children so seriously that we even have a Minister for it-Ed).....we do?...

It's Not About Me...Except Of Course When It Is
**(Apologies for no post for a few days...by reading through recent
posts, it wouldn't take a rocket surgeon to figure out that I've been
struggling with even doing the blog at all for the last 6 months because in many ways I don't really
see the point...I sit down to it for maybe an hour and get up and walk away for 23, come back, do it again...(my how the time flies when you're having a funk-Ed)...oh nicely done Ed, a witty alluding to the often confrontational and depressive nature of doing this 'ere blog, depression often being referred to as being 'in a funk'...
I have been trying to redress the imbalance of the first 18 months of obsessive over-posting, the Agrophobia stuff, etc, but still do what I genuinely feel needs to be done...(and indeed have promised-Ed)...indeed, namely, continue to produce an accurate, reasonably entertaining blog by working to the equivalent of a full-time job, ie, 40 hrs/wk, in part to excise the debt I feel about the DSP stuff, albeit the DSP being available to anyone who qualifies...I have in part failed to do that 'full-time' but I'm still trying...and in that context, the entire blog is all about me because I started it to help deal with my anger and trauma, etc, and try to address the corruption I've witnessed/been subjected to as a parent trying to get some sort of official action...(other than Cover-up-Ed)...re the teacher who abused my child and dozens of others at St Martins Lutheran School here in Mt Gambier...
And as part of that I have also used doing the blog to address my personal issues of guilt around 1) failing to resolve the St Martins Child Abuse Cover-up, and 2) being on the Disability Support Pension and in Public Housing...again, in that context, I ask no-one's permission nor seek their approval, this is how it is for me, and I didn't create it, it is just the way it is...it ain't nuthin' but a Thang...(nuthin' but a Thang-Ed)...I greatly appreciate the personal statements of support saying that what I find myself doing is worth doing and worth being done well...
I continue to obsess about having the TV and/or radio news on 18 hrs/day, and genuinely try to be as accurate as possible 'ere on the blog, what with my constant flurry of furious flensing and vitriolic venting and rage-riddled ridicule...and because I am a perfect person I am incapable of occasionally straying toward being triumphal or mocking...(I think you missed 2 'nots' in that last sentence-Ed)...indeed, and forgive me if when I point out what I feel I have achieved with this 'ere blog whilst trying to act genuinely with this 'ere blog, forgive me if that strays toward triumphalism...(can I just make the point, with the infinite wisdom of hindsight, that doing the blog all day every day for 18 months proved to be a very convenient way to effectively ignore the Agrophobia stuff whilst suffering it, and even while talkin' about it on the blog...ironic really-Ed)...I dunno' what you're talkin' about...moving on...
Other than that, in my reality Mt Gambier has clearly indicated that it is not just happy to be effectively run by paedophiles and/or pro-paedophile corrupt public officials, but that somehow, no matter what I do to try and address that, no matter how appropriate my behaviour has been or continues to be, it's still somehow going to be my fault...(what's your fault?-Ed)...well what have you got?...(ooo ouch, I walked into that one, but I take your point that it seems like no matter what you do, somebody's gunna' whinge about you and/or how you've gone about it-Ed)...even when I calmly discuss things that are happening around town that are impacted on by the blog...(or where others have said to you, 'hey, that's the blog whats done that, congrats'-Ed)...yes, that has been said to me a coupla' times...point being, I clearly am not doing this for the accolades/admiration/whatevs, and whilst I'm far from perfect, just read this 'ere blog and tell me I'm the problem...
So ultimately, there's a whole bunch of people who are going to continue to blame me and vilify me at public functions albeit in my absence, etc, no matter how I say what I'm saying, and the facts of the issue will be willingly ignored...and then when I put myself on the stage, eg, as Mayoral candidate, half the pricks didn't even show up...(not including those who were working that night, but, yeah, fair enough, and I'd say didn't dare show their faces more like...and fair enough, too, I can see how you might feel that's about you-Ed)...so I need to just get the shreck over it and do the blog as I've promised and as I genuinely believe is the thing to do...(until this Federal 'Meta-Data' legislation reaches out and shuts down bloggers like yourself-Ed)...well indeed, that's what it's been introduced for...back to this post, again done across several days)**

(I can imagine that it is rather frustrating/depressing to live in the Surreality that you do where you've hung ya'self out to dry in the public eye time and time again in seeking to address this relentless 'character assassination' cowardice bullshit re the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up-Ed)...well indeed...(that cowardice where people like Rory McEwen have knowingly betrayed you and many others and publicly denigrated you and defamed you, not least of all on the front page of The Border Watch-Ed)...yeah, yeah, I get it, you agree that it says everything about all of us when I'm the one whom somewhere, somehow finds the motivation/courage/whatevs (I can't even define what) to continue with this, and yet others still see fit to ignore all of it in their continuing judgement of me...

1) The character 'Ed' is just me, no-one else, just me trying to generate a few bad jokes...(mission accomplished-Ed)...and have a conversationy exchange, etc, to break it up a bit rather than just deluge availees with the dooming and the glooming that tends to wend it's way inevitably through the blog...(well I for one certainly appreciate the effort-Ed)...cheers....
2) Re the knucklehead who faked her Cancer and surviving it, etc...(Belle Gibson-Ed)...and she had a blog or 57, and 'sold' something else and I really don't know or care, other than to say that I have been absolutely honest/blunt about my Lymphoma Cancer and all the Chemo and Radiotherapy, etc, and the multiple misdiagnosis prior to treatment, etc, and that's just the way it is...I've been brutally honest about my recent/current Mental Health issues, and some other general stuff that hopefully explains/justifies 'me' a bit, for example, the post 'Self-Esteem: The Issue I'd Love To Have'...

Yeeha!: that Benson Radiology invested in a MRI machine only weeks ago and have this week received a Federal 'license' that means average punters like moi will be covered by Medicare, reducing scan costs from a minimum $250 down to $30-$80 (these $ figures are very approx, but definite big reduction)...I believe that this result is despite rather than with the participation of Country Health SA/Labor...and Minister Snelling said 'yes' to an Inquiry about PATS but absolutely 'no' to more funding, then eventually was pushed into it by the efforts of Mr Bell and some others...
It is easy to construct a reality where there have been some small steps forward in local health provision for Mt Gambier...(and with the MRI, a small leap for joy as well-Ed)..indeed, but it continues to be the case that Mt Gambier is massively under-serviced across the board, eg, Mental Health, Drug/Alcohol Counselling, etc, and that there appears to be far more Federal and private funding than state Labor puts in...it's all about Adelaide people...which keeps on seguing into...
No School Like An Old Fool: once predicted right here on this 'ere blog...and I'm sure I'm not the only one...(whaaa?-Ed)...latest reportage on the weekend re future plans for the prime North Tce/Frome Rd/Botanic Gardens site where the Royal Adelaide Hospital currently sits, has the Labor government backing away from their repeated 'promises' to build a new school there, and now it's apartments and other hotel-style structures and an 'art precinct', etc...(but that's what you predicted...you're right again-Ed)...well I did post about this, but I didn't predict anything Ed, I just reported the interview I saw several years back when the 'new RAH' was announced...the then Sow Strayan Health Minister John Hill was standing in the Adelaide Rail Yards saying 'we're gunna' move the RAH from there to here, and there (Frome Rd/North Tce) we'll build boutique hotels and luxury apartments'...
This is the fall-out from the corruption that runs Adelaide via the Labor Party and it's co-conspirator, the Liberal Party...the RAH was moved so that Mike Rann and Jay Weatherill. etc, can build vastly expensive edifices to their own egomanic glory, which also generates 1) heaps of work for Labor's Union support and construction developers at 3 sites/projects, and 2) luxury apartments for all the corrupt politicians, etc, on the prime site overlooking the Botanical Gardens...(3 projects? I see the RAH and the hotels as being 2 sites, etc, but where's '3'?-Ed)...the 'new Adelaide Oval'...(of course, the Oval they built on top of the original as a knee-jerk last minute Election promise-Ed)...and then sold the SE Forestry to pay for...
I remind availees that only weeks ago a woman from Ardrossan on the Yorke Peninsula (600kms from Mt Gambier, 150kms from Adelaide) spent 9 days at Mt Gambier Hospital with a broken leg (plus other?) sustained at home in Ardrossan...(what?! why wasn't she in Adelaide if there wasn't a bed for her at any of the several local hospitals up that way?-Ed)...no bed for her there or in Adelaide, apparently...(sweet baby cheeses, how bad's the rest of the system when ya' end up in Mt Gambier Hospital as a last resort?...how the shreck was her family meant to visit?-Ed)...well exactly, it's a joke with no punchline and nobodies laughing...only a coupla' years back, Labor openly stated that Country patients had been discharged early and en masse to free-up some beds for Adelaide patients...
And on top of this, further reports that the $2billion+ De-Salination Plant at Hallett Cove will never be used beyond the minimal 'maintenance' operating that's currently happening to stop it seizing-up and failing completely...and the official excuse is that the water produced is too expensive at 5 times the cost of water pumped from the Murray River, but I remind availees of those wide-spread reports/allegations of maladministration and technical dysfunction and malfunction where-in it was claimed that parts of the plant simply didn't/don't work and therefore it wouldn't/couldn't ever produce Commercial quantities of potable water, not even close...
(And what happens when the River runs dry? the SA share of Murray catchment holdings up Menindee Lakes way in New South Wales are near empty now, and Broken Hill is nearly outta' potable water, etc-Ed)...I know, I know...and where's the only relatively fresh water in this state if ya' Creek crokes and ya' damned De-Sal can't cut it?...(under us plebs here in the South East?-Ed)...exactly...notice anyone sticking-in massive new pipes around Mt Gambier recently?...(well SA Water were just doing that around the Lakes area over Christmas...omg...you don't think?-Ed)...I try not to...but seriously, this is purely speculation from me bordering on an attempt at humor...I mean, surely not...

I continue to obsess about having the TV and/or radio news on 18 hrs/day, and genuinely try to be as accurate as possible 'ere on the blog, what with my constant flurry of furious flensing and vitriolic venting and rage-riddled ridicule...and because I am a perfect person I am incapable of occasionally straying toward being triumphal or mocking...(I think you missed 2 'nots' in that last sentence-Ed)...indeed, and forgive me if when I point out what I feel I have achieved with this 'ere blog whilst trying to act genuinely with this 'ere blog, forgive me if that strays toward triumphalism...(can I just make the point, with the infinite wisdom of hindsight, that doing the blog all day every day for 18 months proved to be a very convenient way to effectively ignore the Agrophobia stuff whilst suffering it, and even while talkin' about it on the blog...ironic really-Ed)...I dunno' what you're talkin' about...moving on...
Other than that, in my reality Mt Gambier has clearly indicated that it is not just happy to be effectively run by paedophiles and/or pro-paedophile corrupt public officials, but that somehow, no matter what I do to try and address that, no matter how appropriate my behaviour has been or continues to be, it's still somehow going to be my fault...(what's your fault?-Ed)...well what have you got?...(ooo ouch, I walked into that one, but I take your point that it seems like no matter what you do, somebody's gunna' whinge about you and/or how you've gone about it-Ed)...even when I calmly discuss things that are happening around town that are impacted on by the blog...(or where others have said to you, 'hey, that's the blog whats done that, congrats'-Ed)...yes, that has been said to me a coupla' times...point being, I clearly am not doing this for the accolades/admiration/whatevs, and whilst I'm far from perfect, just read this 'ere blog and tell me I'm the problem...
So ultimately, there's a whole bunch of people who are going to continue to blame me and vilify me at public functions albeit in my absence, etc, no matter how I say what I'm saying, and the facts of the issue will be willingly ignored...and then when I put myself on the stage, eg, as Mayoral candidate, half the pricks didn't even show up...(not including those who were working that night, but, yeah, fair enough, and I'd say didn't dare show their faces more like...and fair enough, too, I can see how you might feel that's about you-Ed)...so I need to just get the shreck over it and do the blog as I've promised and as I genuinely believe is the thing to do...(until this Federal 'Meta-Data' legislation reaches out and shuts down bloggers like yourself-Ed)...well indeed, that's what it's been introduced for...back to this post, again done across several days)**
Hello Ukraine, Turkey, Macau, and Saudi Arabia and welcome to the blog...and I guarantee this post isn't just one rambling, verbose, whingy, whiny, wad of self-indulgent self-justification...(oh dear-Ed)...oh come on, give me a break, I don't really have much choice but to talk about me when acknowledging/addressing feedback, etc, because apparently the issue continues to be 'me' rather than the issues I have identified on this 'ere blog...(well, when ya' put it like that-Ed)...I do put it like that...(no, I do take your point-Ed)...
(I can imagine that it is rather frustrating/depressing to live in the Surreality that you do where you've hung ya'self out to dry in the public eye time and time again in seeking to address this relentless 'character assassination' cowardice bullshit re the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up-Ed)...well indeed...(that cowardice where people like Rory McEwen have knowingly betrayed you and many others and publicly denigrated you and defamed you, not least of all on the front page of The Border Watch-Ed)...yeah, yeah, I get it, you agree that it says everything about all of us when I'm the one whom somewhere, somehow finds the motivation/courage/whatevs (I can't even define what) to continue with this, and yet others still see fit to ignore all of it in their continuing judgement of me...
And can I just take you back Ed, to your wonderful new word 'Surreality', I'm going to use it from now on because it just says it all about the reality I experience and as I've expressed here on the blog...(cheers, it just occurred to me-Ed)...'Surreality' - a reality so strange as to be surreal...and in the case of the blog itself, that's in the genré all it's own, 'Surrealityism' - an unbelievable work of fact that is a work of friction...(nice-Ed)...**and just to get this posted today, jumping to dot-pointing**
Some Points Remade: because not every availee has read every post and I've been asked...
1) The character 'Ed' is just me, no-one else, just me trying to generate a few bad jokes...(mission accomplished-Ed)...and have a conversationy exchange, etc, to break it up a bit rather than just deluge availees with the dooming and the glooming that tends to wend it's way inevitably through the blog...(well I for one certainly appreciate the effort-Ed)...cheers....
2) Re the knucklehead who faked her Cancer and surviving it, etc...(Belle Gibson-Ed)...and she had a blog or 57, and 'sold' something else and I really don't know or care, other than to say that I have been absolutely honest/blunt about my Lymphoma Cancer and all the Chemo and Radiotherapy, etc, and the multiple misdiagnosis prior to treatment, etc, and that's just the way it is...I've been brutally honest about my recent/current Mental Health issues, and some other general stuff that hopefully explains/justifies 'me' a bit, for example, the post 'Self-Esteem: The Issue I'd Love To Have'...
3) When I talk about groups as being responsible for certain actions, those people who I'm not pointing at and saying 'hey you, watcha' doin' there?', those people all already know to not take offense...and the Others, if they take offense then they take offense to being held accountable for their own actions, and a perfect example is Mt Gambier City Council...(of course it is-Ed)...just sayin', as an obvious example...our local Member Troy Bell (Liberal) would be a good one as well, what given my seething contempt for his political kith and kin, he is a rare fish in a very murky pond...
(Yeah, fair enough, he has been quite pro-active and did get some extra funding for the Patient Assistance Transport Scheme after Labor's 'Health On Earth' Minister Jack 'The Rat' Snelling had said 'yeah, there'll be an Inquiry, sure', but on the issue of increased funding, and I quote directly from...here somewhere...ah yes, no that's not it...hang on, here it is, "...you ain't gettin' penny one from me you slags", unquote-Ed)...that doesn't look like a genuine Labor quote to me...(I didn't say it was a genuine Labor quote, it's from The Mighty Boosh BBC TV show-Ed)...really...anyhoos, whatta' lovely pair of segues into...
Yeeha!: that Benson Radiology invested in a MRI machine only weeks ago and have this week received a Federal 'license' that means average punters like moi will be covered by Medicare, reducing scan costs from a minimum $250 down to $30-$80 (these $ figures are very approx, but definite big reduction)...I believe that this result is despite rather than with the participation of Country Health SA/Labor...and Minister Snelling said 'yes' to an Inquiry about PATS but absolutely 'no' to more funding, then eventually was pushed into it by the efforts of Mr Bell and some others...
It is easy to construct a reality where there have been some small steps forward in local health provision for Mt Gambier...(and with the MRI, a small leap for joy as well-Ed)..indeed, but it continues to be the case that Mt Gambier is massively under-serviced across the board, eg, Mental Health, Drug/Alcohol Counselling, etc, and that there appears to be far more Federal and private funding than state Labor puts in...it's all about Adelaide people...which keeps on seguing into...
No School Like An Old Fool: once predicted right here on this 'ere blog...and I'm sure I'm not the only one...(whaaa?-Ed)...latest reportage on the weekend re future plans for the prime North Tce/Frome Rd/Botanic Gardens site where the Royal Adelaide Hospital currently sits, has the Labor government backing away from their repeated 'promises' to build a new school there, and now it's apartments and other hotel-style structures and an 'art precinct', etc...(but that's what you predicted...you're right again-Ed)...well I did post about this, but I didn't predict anything Ed, I just reported the interview I saw several years back when the 'new RAH' was announced...the then Sow Strayan Health Minister John Hill was standing in the Adelaide Rail Yards saying 'we're gunna' move the RAH from there to here, and there (Frome Rd/North Tce) we'll build boutique hotels and luxury apartments'...
This is the fall-out from the corruption that runs Adelaide via the Labor Party and it's co-conspirator, the Liberal Party...the RAH was moved so that Mike Rann and Jay Weatherill. etc, can build vastly expensive edifices to their own egomanic glory, which also generates 1) heaps of work for Labor's Union support and construction developers at 3 sites/projects, and 2) luxury apartments for all the corrupt politicians, etc, on the prime site overlooking the Botanical Gardens...(3 projects? I see the RAH and the hotels as being 2 sites, etc, but where's '3'?-Ed)...the 'new Adelaide Oval'...(of course, the Oval they built on top of the original as a knee-jerk last minute Election promise-Ed)...and then sold the SE Forestry to pay for...
I remind availees that only weeks ago a woman from Ardrossan on the Yorke Peninsula (600kms from Mt Gambier, 150kms from Adelaide) spent 9 days at Mt Gambier Hospital with a broken leg (plus other?) sustained at home in Ardrossan...(what?! why wasn't she in Adelaide if there wasn't a bed for her at any of the several local hospitals up that way?-Ed)...no bed for her there or in Adelaide, apparently...(sweet baby cheeses, how bad's the rest of the system when ya' end up in Mt Gambier Hospital as a last resort?...how the shreck was her family meant to visit?-Ed)...well exactly, it's a joke with no punchline and nobodies laughing...only a coupla' years back, Labor openly stated that Country patients had been discharged early and en masse to free-up some beds for Adelaide patients...
And on top of this, further reports that the $2billion+ De-Salination Plant at Hallett Cove will never be used beyond the minimal 'maintenance' operating that's currently happening to stop it seizing-up and failing completely...and the official excuse is that the water produced is too expensive at 5 times the cost of water pumped from the Murray River, but I remind availees of those wide-spread reports/allegations of maladministration and technical dysfunction and malfunction where-in it was claimed that parts of the plant simply didn't/don't work and therefore it wouldn't/couldn't ever produce Commercial quantities of potable water, not even close...
(And what happens when the River runs dry? the SA share of Murray catchment holdings up Menindee Lakes way in New South Wales are near empty now, and Broken Hill is nearly outta' potable water, etc-Ed)...I know, I know...and where's the only relatively fresh water in this state if ya' Creek crokes and ya' damned De-Sal can't cut it?...(under us plebs here in the South East?-Ed)...exactly...notice anyone sticking-in massive new pipes around Mt Gambier recently?...(well SA Water were just doing that around the Lakes area over Christmas...omg...you don't think?-Ed)...I try not to...but seriously, this is purely speculation from me bordering on an attempt at humor...I mean, surely not...

As difficult as this will be for some to believe, I've worked really hard, tried really hard to rein-in my deep loathing and contempt for the majority of City Council, and stick with dealin' with the facts...(gunna' stop tryin?-Ed)...not really, I'd call it just some harsh truths delivered unceremoniously...(I'd call it 'ouch'-Ed)...so, I'm sure, will Council...but before I've even got there, I'm going to change to the subject of interviews this morning on our local ABC Radio, being WorkCover and Emergency Services...more outrageous contempt from Labor for the people of South Australia...

**Just saw (0500hrs Monday 4th May 2015) a 'Severe Bushfire Warning' issued for South Australia...but SA's a big place and I'm fairly sure it ain't for down our way where there hasn't been a lot of rain, but it's greenish and damp underfoot...just reporting on ABC that it's very dry around Bordertown, etc, only 150mm of rain since August 2014, down from an average yearly 320mm for the period**
