Ask Not What Your Council Can Do For You - The RLRA

Hello Poland, France, the USofA, and Indonesia and welcome to the blog...and I'd just like to talk right down to pushing Earth needlessly around in circles to create 'billable hours' re the Rail Lands Retail Agenda what I might possibly have mentioned in previous posts...(all the time...well certainly at least often-Ed)...yes I know I bang on about it but it is the critically corrupted conduct of City Council in pursuit of said Agenda that has dominated alleged Planning and Development around Mt Gambier since 2004/05...

Just For Laughs: heard don't know who (sorry, a Union rep?) talking about the Adelaide Submarine Corp, the latest contract for Patrol boats, buying not building 2 large Supply ships, the 7 boat 'Future Frigate' program, etc, and how these things all tie together in maintaining a strong, skilled ship-building industry into the future...he passionately explained why that 'future' needs regular government contracts...(yeah, he said "we have to have a future, frig it, for Australia"-Ed)...orr hey, that's my joke, you bastard...

Feedback: as per my previous claims that at least 2 former (but at the time serving) Councillors, Grant District's Brenton James and Mt Gambier's Tony Pasin received inappropriately preferential, intensely questionable, highly profitable, clearly unacceptable Land Re-Zoning approvals concurrent to the Bunnings/Penola Rd disaster that saw Bunnings end up on the re-Zoned Millicent Rd site, a site belonging to Brenton James...

I understand this to be true and as stated previously I am more than happy to be corrected by either gentleman, and given that Mr Pasin is now our Liberal Member for Barker it might be considered that he should respond...not that he responded to my emails re the St Martins issue...(so you did contact him then?-Ed)...yep...(and not even an acknowledgement?-Ed)...nope...(but he already knows all about it anyway, yeah?-Ed)...yep...(has known for years-Ed)...yep...(we'll come back to this-Ed)...damn straight we will...

I have re-posted (below) some of the various plans that Mt Gambier City Council has presented since 2005 for Expansion of the Lakes (Centro) Plaza and/or other major Retail/Commercial development on the Old Rail Lands...respectful apologies but the RLRA is not up for debate, it is an undeniable reality that sits at the heart of local politics in the same way the Lands used to be the heart of a thriving Region...whatever the motivations, the RLRA ain't nuthin' but a thang...

And I'm not forgetting other issues like Wind Turbines, the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up, the criminality of the Forestry Estate Sale, the lunacy of Fracking, Public Transport or Health issues or both, eg, the Patient Assistance Transport Scheme, Mayor Steve Perryman's personal raft of Conflicts of Interests, the corruption of the Old Hospital Demolition Tender, Fire Prevention for the Region, responsible water usage, etc, etc, etc...

Start At The Beginning: in that I'm relatively new to Mt Gambier and the Rail Lands in the centre of Mt Gambier...(Google Earth it or whatevs, mofos-Ed)...mofos? really?...(just dialin' with me peeps-Ed)...sorry what?...(dialoguing with my people-Ed)...well say that then...anyhoos, the Rail Lands were the beating heart of Mt Gambier and it's branches the arteries of local industry, agriculture, etc, with passenger services to Adelaide, etc, but all was shut down and sold-off...

It happened shortly before I moved to Mt Gambier, but is my understanding that Rail Services were deliberately undermined, stopped, and dismantled by a trucking company determined to force freight onto the roads where they would make all the profit...I have spoken to many people on this issue and the description of events has been unanimous...

In late 2004/early 2005 the City of Mt Gambier was gifted those lands and the attached plans show exactly what Council has been trying to do ever since, build a massive expansion of the Lakes Plaza...because of the plans I'll finish this up here and do some dot point posts to try and clean up a few issues like this one...

Please bear with me as I struggle through what I feel are a few 'going-through-the-motions' self-distractive posts designed to keep me from more self-destructive projects...(you mean because this June long weekend is the 12th anniversary of the removal of "text-book grooming paedophile" teacher Glyn Dorling from St Martins Lutheran School?-Ed)...indeed...(followed by 12 years of the Lutherans, SAPol, the Labor and Liberal Parties, etc, engaging in the institutionalised Cover-up of the abuses committed against 7 year old children-Ed)...indeed...

When I get my shizzle back on track I'll deal with that stuff...

More SAPol Raid stuff...and I'm thrilled to see that individual Goethermal units are being installed around the Canberra area utilising the heat in the top 5km of ground...seasons may come and go, as does the sun and wind, but the Earth's temperature remains fairly constant...the spokesperson for the company (?names-sorry) said that at any given time Australia had 26,000 years of 'stored energy' in geothermal sources, usually 'hot rock'...(super-Ed)...

Hello Brazil, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Japan and welcome to the blog...sorry for no post yesterday, lost track and forgot, sorry, but I don't apologise for the Nationalism of wanting my country to be strong and successful and a generous global citizen and for all of it's peoples to prosper in a healthy environment, not just middle-aged white men standing in a big hole that used to be full of Coal or Iron ore...Carn Straya!...(that's Ozzie for 'come on Australia'...just take the 'mo' out of 'come on' to get 'carn', and chuck a 'Straya' on the end-Ed)...ripper...

Today's post focuses again on very local issues so yet again I do seek availees indulgence but don't apologise for railing against the rank corruption of Mt Gambier City Council and the toll their greed and selfishness have taken on the City...(all delivered with a sickening slab of sanctimoniously self-righteousness self-congratulation-Ed)...certainly...

One completely rejects any assertion by anyone else...(or anything-Ed)...that anybody...(or anything-Ed)...has done anything to hold Mt Gambier City Council to account for their extraordinarily blatant corruption and so thusly this one shall continue to ride them like one's pet pony...giddyup beeatches...

For what little I know of the situation with the old Fletcher Jones (Rotary) market, I'm absolutely confident in calling it an act of outright bastardry from City Council, whom for reasons I'm not entirely sure about, are clearly determined to destroy the business person involved...just another case of a thuggish, corrupt, Council attacking people it doesn't like whilst concurrently pouring rate-payers money into the pockets of fellow Councillor's and their mates...you all make me sick...

I'm sick of looking at a raft of corrupt public officials rooting it up for everyone else, eg, Mt Gambier and Grant District Councillors who have done a series of dodgy land re-zonings relative to the Bunnings development at Calula Dve, bizarre re-zonings that specifically profit former Councillors Brenton James and Tony Pasin, and particularly in the case of Brenton James's land (Calula Dve) which has destroyed controlled planning for the entire city by re-zoning Light Industry land to retail/Bulky Goods and Residential...

Not an accusation, not a complaint, not a defamatiously scurrilous slanderisationing, it's a stone-cold fact...and I'd be more than happy to discuss with either gentleman the finer details of their rank corruption re these re-zonings...(cheers-Ed)...  

(I'll have a stab at the FJ motivation-Ed)...go on...(well Fletcher Jones is a prime Retail site and Bunnings and I think maybe Aldi were looking at it, but Council, so insanely obsessed with the Rail Lands Retail Agenda, have deliberately hampered any development applications that might challenge that, eg, Bunnings at the Penola Rd site, and in blatant retaliation, have blocked even basic attempts to utilise the whole building as an indoor market...they are petty thugs and gutless crooks-Ed)...damn straight ...

Mt Gambier is in a prime position to be the centre of the known world, at the heart of a massive, profitable Forestry Estate established over a century, with lush pasture, relatively abundant fresh water, relatively pristine seas relatively chockers with fishy food sources, with a brilliant -2C to 45C 'Mediterranean' climate...take away people and our pollution, environmental degradation, etc, and it's bloody Nirvana...I apologise, do put some people back there, the people who lived here before my people stole it off them...(ooo, controversial-Ed)...the truth often is...

We've got an International port only 100kms away that is currently being utilised very nicely thankyou very much by 141 Plantations to ship our futures offshore...and this is the ultimate criminality of the Forestry Estate Sale...even if we as a state were doing zero value adding to our Forestry product, just shipping it all as logs straight outta' Portland, then at least we'd still be getting that income and it would still be a profit, a healthy profit...but Labor had to have that money immediately for the Adelaide Oval and had no qualms about selling off the South East of the state.

News that log harvesting and export is at a 30 year high, and harvesters are struggling to get enough workers to fell the trees and get them to Portland for export, is further proof that 141 Plantations...(whom, remember, are so committed to the Region that they haven't even opened an office in Mt Gambier...in fact, do they even have an office in Sow (South) Straya?-Ed)...I don't think so, I think they're an international conglomerate with an office in Melbourne...(charming-Ed)...141 haven't any plans for the future of Forestry, they are merely stripping the South East Forestry Estate ...

This weeks Forestry Minister Leon Bignell's Forestry SA 'Voluntary Redundancies' close today, with anyone accepting this 'VA' to receive twice the pay-out that anyone in FSA will receive from here on in...(sorry, Leon reckons that employees have to apply and may not be accepted, it's not a forced redundancy-Ed)...yeah, a 'voluntary redundancy' that if you don't accept within a week, gets halved...(and aren't those redundancy payments/entitlements Wage Agreement conditions-Ed)...not sure, but I think so...(so how can the government take that money?-Ed),,,don't know... 

And just when one thought that PM Tony Abbott couldn't really get any more offensive, particularly with his militaristic jingoism re Liberal's current Budget, he's used a speech about the Commemoration of the D-Day Invasions of June 6th 1944 to trot out issues from his political agenda...can't speak to my Papa's political bent, but Pops would have been absolutely filthy about this gross misappropriation of the suffering of his mates and the calibre (or rather lack of) of the misappropriator... 

And some common sense even if I don't particularly like it, that several Burmese refugees have been tried but not convicted for killing with slingshots 3 koalas and a dozen+ possums...the animals had had their fur burned off...as soon as I heard these details, refugees and burnt-off fur, I thought that these people had done this for food not fun, and that is what the Court has acknowledged...I'm not happy about the killings, but at least there's been a satisfactory result legal wise...

Others have complained that this 'cultural misunderstanding' is a convenient lie that migrants and refugees trot out to avoid responsibility for knowingly breaking the law...I'm sure this has happened, but it's hardly appropriate to just lump everyone together and collectively blame Burmese or whoever...and how many Oz born, English speaking arseholes know and deliberately break the law and then mischievously plead ignorance?...how many transgress in genuine ignorance?...and it's easily done because there are so many petty, controlling laws in SA...it's part of the Fascism, part of the definably pro-paedophile Totalitarian structure that exists in SA just beneath this thin veneer of pseudo-democracy... 

Arc Me: because the 'search' for missing Flight MH-370 has now apparently moved to the "7th arc" which I'm assuming is another of these projected guesstimations based on the satellite locating pings received from the plane as it allegedly flew for 5-8 hours after losing contact and changing directions several times over Malaysia...amid ongoing reports that "a plane on fire" was seen crashing into the South China Sea...and following on from revelations that the sonar 'pings' that had been heard weeks ago were actually from one of the other search ships, possibly it's bar fridge...

Pardon my cynicism, but I find it very difficult to believe that MH-370 has 'disappeared' without anyone on the planet having any idea where or why...is this another commercial airliner accidentally shot down by a stray or even deliberate but erroneous missile...it's happened before in the USofA, over the Mediterranean, in the Gulf of Iman, over Southern Russia. etc, I can think of at least 4, so it's a distinct possibility..but I digress...

Perhaps I have it completely backwards...(how so?-Ed)...perhaps rail is coming back and the people orchestrating this RLRA have bought up all the land along a potential new Rail Easement just South or more likely North of Mt Gambier so have acted to destroy the City Easement to force that move...(yeah, possible but unlikely...I think the far more obvious personal business interests and profiteering of Mt Gambier City Councillors and their mates re the Lakes Plaza is the main driver-Ed)...

In closing and speaking of which, my mate former Grant Council now Mid Murray Council CEO Russell Peate was on the ABC this week defending as perfectly "legal" his Council's approval of a massive Chicken farm, a project that fire authorities have heavily criticised for having no fire plan what-so-ever...(what, none at all?-Ed)...apparently...good to see Rusty's up to his old tricks...can't wait for an Independent Inquiry into the rank corruption of the Epically Failed Allendale/Acciona Wind Turbine development...(or the gross corruption of the Calula Dve/Bunnings fiasco-Ed)...indeed...cheers Rusty...

I Random So Far Away

Hello Italy, Moldova, Canada, and the USofA and welcome to a sortta' special post in response to an ABC Local Radio report that's about to happen re the Old Rail Lands...(sorry? you're responding to a report that hasn't happened yet...how's that done then?-Ed)...the ABC just 'promoed' a story so I started this post, ready to go when it comes on and tries limply to justify how it is Council has come to spend over $4million getting flat, clean ground back to flat, clean ground, with some lawn on it...(how's that done then?-Ed)...exactly...

And now today's The Border Watch has blown the cat right out of the bag with official confirmation that Council is trying to get the Rotary Market that has operated at the old Fletcher Jones building for over a decade, to get it to move to the Rail Lands...(where on the Rail Lands? there's no bloody shelter-Ed)...well apparently it's going to go in the Old Railway Station and on the platform...oh, and the $700,000 drainage pond is apparently an exciting playscape for the kiddies...(super-Ed)...this means several posts over the next week...

(Hang on, on the platform? there's no shelter...and the Old Station is riddled with decaying Asbestos so half the building is closed off and unusable...and Council knows that...and there's still no money mentioned anywhere for any Station renovations...the whole thing is absolutely farcical-Ed)...indeed, and why? the RLRA...and I have known about this attempted move for a while but was asked not to mention it...more tomorrow... 

And Thanks For Asking: my SAPol Raid Diet is going swimmingly after some serious yo-yoing...lost 6kgs in those first 3-4 days, stacked it on again in 2 weeks with poor eating, too much sleeping, etc...this is a fairly typical Chronic Depressive response to a major traumatic event, and have somewhat restored equilibrium, deliberately losing a few kilos, now down to 105kgs...(and it's not like you couldn't afford to lose a few pounds-Ed)...approx 10 thus far...and 4 weeks after 'The Raid, Man' and I still ain't got not no idea what the shreck is hap'nin' about the "expect to be charged" stuff...

(So you've not heard from the two SAPol Anti-Corruption detectives who 'raided' your home on May 8th 2014, seized your computer, etc, or anyone else at SAPol?-Ed)...nope...(the Director of Public Prosecutions for whom SAPol were apparently 'collecting evidence'?-Ed)...nope...(the particular Authority involved that I'm unsure I can even mention by name?-Ed)...nope...(not nuthin' from no-one?-Ed)...nope, not nuffin' from no-one...

(Have you had any legal advice?-Ed)...yep...(could they help?-Ed)...nope...(because this is the first time this legislation has been enacted against anyone?-Ed)...yep...(so there's no precedents to refer to-Ed)...nope...(it's all quite ludicrous-Ed)...yep...

Saving For A Raidy Day: I have also been asked to explain the "Search Warrant" thingy from those hazy, raidy days of May...when I asked to see the aforementioned Search Warrant the female detective produced a piece of heavy paper approx half A4 size, folded twice...it just said Search Warrant on top and then went into a spiel about how the detectives could go anywhere, do anything, seize whatevs, effectively on a suspicion...it had a scribbled signature and was dated as valid from January 2014 to June 2014...

(So it didn't have your name on it?-Ed)..nope...(or your address?-Ed)...nope...(or a specific date?-Ed)...nope...(so it was an open-ended, 6 month long license to go anywhere do anything?-Ed)...yep...(did you ask for a copy?-Ed)...yep...(did they give you one?-Ed)...nope...(this, sir, is an outrage-Ed)...and that's exactly what everyone has said...and several people have expressed deep concerns that South Australian police would have such sweeping powers...the word 'totalitarian' has come up a couple of times...

Irony Clad Result: broke a thoroughly knackered back tooth off at the gum-line Monday, but because it was already a 'dead tooth' there was no pain...Irony 1- no pain due to pre-rooted tooth...then I lucked into a cancellation at the Mt Gambier Hospital Dental Clinic just earlier today, where I was thrilled to get a filling not an extraction...once the dentist did a quick x-ray he decided that the old Root Canal was still good and could just re-fill that and not wrench the tooth out...result...

Ironies 2, 3 and 4...my teeth are so problematic off the back of the massive Chemo treatment I had in 2004/05...so I2) I'm lucky to still be alive to have these teeth problems, and which also means I3) that I qualify as a 'risk' patient re infections, etc, and we get sort of preferential treatment...and I4) all the pain that I went through with the original Root Canal years ago saved me going through it again just yet...

And I choose to celebrate all of these things...particularly that I live in a society where I received that Chemo, etc, and where the Dental Clinic staff are doing fantastically well to provide the service they do...and I reckon I'll spend a few days getting about with my hair down to celebrate surviving Cancer 10 years ago, and to luxuriate in the wonder of God's creation...(bless her-Ed)...yeah, she's a champ alright...

The Rail Lands Retail Agenda: is respectfully not up for debate, Council has openly planned for massive Retail Expansion of the current Lakes Plaza onto that site, and has re-zoned the site to 'City Centre' which means Retail/Commercial...(Retail/Commercial on a Rail Line? how's that done then?-Ed)...is that all you're going to say?...'how's that done then?'...(hey, it's my new catchphrase, back off-Ed)...catchphrase? you don't get a catchphrase, you don't actually exist...(yeah I do-Ed)...

Feedback: namely that I'm not being obsequious or sarcastic or evasive or anything other than truthful when I say there is no Ed, there is no person called Ed...Ed is a literary/linguistic device I stumbled on in early posts and found effective (I thought) in engaging readers about issues, raising questions, being 'Devil's Advocate' at times, cracking bad jokes, etc, rather than just lecturing...there is no Third Party associated with this blog...(and for that matter no Second Party-Ed)...exactly...hang on, stop that...availees, there is nought but I.........stop confusing the situation when I'm trying to explain things...(yeah yeah, whatevs-Ed)...

To answer the question 'how's that re-zoning done?' well that's done ultimately with Labor state government approval...(funny, because it would have taken a bit of time and work from Council to get that re-zoning, yet I've never seen or heard it mentioned anywhere, not in Council meetings, not nuffin'-Ed)...yeah, strange that...but then again you've not publicly heard of Mayor Steve Perryman's multiple Conflict Of Interest issues until last week when the many Anti-Frackers present to witness his latest effort made it impossible to ignore...

(I'll do a post soon dedicated solely to the litany of dodgy land re-zonings, Insider Trading, nepotism, and general rank corruption re the Bunnings/Penola Rd Fiasco that also relates directly to the RLRA...)

And yes I know Ed, you think it was because of the hammering I've been giving Council on this 'ere blog, but I reckon that Council/The Border Watch had to acknowledge this COI because there were so many witnesses...and I think it says everything about Mayor Perryman and Council that during a discussion re 'opposing' Fracking, he has to leave because he has a 'business arrangement' with those Frackers, Beach Energy...but I digress sortta'...


It's actually now Thursday 5th May and I was planning to post re the ABC Local Radio interview about the Rail lands with Council's Regulatory Services Manager Micheal Silvy from yesterday morning...I have often been critical of the ABC South East for doing 'Dorothy Dixer' propaganda promotion interviews where interviewees are not challenged in the least but get to trot out their 'official line' without contradiction or confrontation...and so it was yet again in this interview...but I've run out of time already...

Some Brief Facts: the City of Mt Gambier was 'gifted' the Old Rail Lands by the Labor state government in late 2004/early 2005, and immediately a small group of vested interests set their sights on the site and pursuing their self-serving plans for a massive Retail Expansion of the Lakes Plaza...from Council's first 'Public Consultation' session in July 2005, through the February 2006 meetings, the 2009 Re-zoning of the site, the 2009 Commercial Development plan off Council's website, etc...I have presented copies of these plans in previous posts, please to be checking them out if you would...

Just Some Random Shenanigans

Hey y'all in Peru, Poland, France and Ukraine and welcome to the blog for Wednesday 4th June 2014 and a series of issues stemming from Council decisions/planning...and I partially apologise for being a little blinkered and parochial in some of my recent posts, but I would beg indulgence in that in some instances I have been the news...(only it's news you won't see or hear in Mt Gambier-Ed)...not likely to, no...

Nature's Wonderland: again baby...found a mushroom in my garden (on the far-side of the compost heap) about the size of a dinner plate...and yes it's definitely an edible mushroom, but it's obviously been up for a few days and has been well chewed so I ain't touchin' it...(that must be some good compost-Ed)... 

Feedback: that apparently I need to cut back on the sarcasm...for example, yes I was referring to myself as 'the cat out of the bag' yesterday, but no I don't think that WIN TV has re-instated their minimalist 90 second news service jammed into an ad break during the usual news, just to 'get' me...however, I do believe there is some ulterior motive attached to this sudden display of alleged community focused altruism...

Similarly I don't think that certain legislation I probably can't mention...(well you can but you probably possibly shouldn't-Ed)...it really is ridiculous isn't it?...anyhoos, I don't think that this legislation/Authority was created specifically to get me, but it is clearly about getting people like me who speak out about the institutionalised corruption in South Australia...the fact that this legislation was recently enacted against me is just proof of this Agenda...and someone had to be the first to be threatened I mean prosecuted under this 'law'...

And finally...I wasn't contradicting myself at all with statements re the SAPol 'raid' of my home that 1) I had it foremost in my mind that these 2 detectives were likely the decent cops sent by the other kind, but that 2) I may well be wrong and was about to get some drugs or a gun, whatevs, planted and then subsequently arrested...in an unknown situation all is possibility, all is potential...but I digress...

Last night alleged Child Protection Expert Emeritus Professor Frida Briggs was interviewed as part of a story about children abusing other children...Ms Briggs is yet another in the long list of alleged Child Protection experts/professionals in South Australia who knows all about the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up and has done absolutely nothing about it...gets her own post soon...(ouch, doesn't sound good-Ed)...well that's 'cos it ain't...

Not long after that was a story about the increasing problem of Catastrophic Wildfires that burn-out areas rather than through areas because we humans have interfered with the natural cycle of yearly small fires that clear undergrowth, fallen trees, etc, and therefore have created massive bonfires just waiting to go up in uncontrollable conflagrations that kill entire ecosystems including the adult trees that then never recover...and a big part of the story was the complacency of the many Australians living in semi-rural suburbs often adjoining bushland, eg, Hobart, capital of Tasmania.

Bottomline, this ground fuel feeds and intensifies any fire, also allowing the fire to get into the canopy, and then it's virtually unstoppable, it becomes "like a Tornado or Hurricane"...this fuel buildup right on the edge of town is exactly what I've been identifying in this here blog...Mt Gambier City Council's practice of felling but not removing trees around the Lakes Area has created a massive ground fuel load right on the Cities' doorstep...and it's only going to get worse...

Now Council is stating that Tree Removal programs will possibly be cut because of the impending but as yet undefined/unknown cuts to Local Government funding off the back of the Federal Budget...(but aren't those trees, or at least some of them, badly diseased and falling over by themselves?-Ed)...apparently and/or allegedly...(so what's your problem? they're ending up where Council leaves them anyway-Ed)...I ignore your sarcasm-soaked logic and re-state that there is a massive fire hazard sitting right there and it's only going to get worse with Council's increasing inaction...

In contrast Council apparently has the funds to go ahead with the ludicrously extravagant Solar Lights for around the Blue Lake...(and yet more concrete pavers for the Rail Lands this time-Ed)...I know, more on that tomorrow...

And Like Being Pole-Axed: when it was put to me, not least of all that I didn't spot it myself...that the 'Diseased Tree' issue is a farcical nonsense and that those trees around the Lakes area are dying from 'known reasons' and it ain't disease...(I'm not with you...the trees aren't dying?-Ed)...no, they're dying alright, but it's not disease...(why not disease?-Ed)...well, those are allegedly 'diseased' Pine trees right...(yep-Ed)...and are there any other Pine trees in the South East?...(derrr obviously, the SEFE is Pine trees, Pinus Radiata or somethin'-Ed)............(oh-Ed)...yes, oh...

Killer Disease? And I apologise profusely that I missed this fundamental truth even whilst ploughing through the issue...this is why I talk to people, 'cos I don't know and/or see everything...which relates directly to Council shenanigans because if I as one person manage to expose what I have, then how much more remains undiscovered?

(Oh my Gordon Bennett...it's just so, right...if those trees were diseased then they wouldn't have been left there to die...why have they just been left there to die? why haven't they been removed? are they different Pines to the main SEFE species and therefore it doesn't count?...my head hurts-Ed)...welcome to my world...moving on...

Minister Tom Koutsontonis announced that Labor will be forced to react to the Federal (Liberal) Budget and supposed Health funding cuts...(Libs say the funding wasn't there in the first place-Ed)...indeed...but either way Tommy K is using the excuse to declare that Labor in SA is going to axe 100's of hospital beds...and you couldn't wipe the smile off his face when he proudly declared that Labor would do nothing, absolutely nothing, to buffer SA residents from those alleged cuts...and you just know those closures won't be in Adelaide where the votes are...

Player Sacked: is the best headline thus far this week...(please explain-Ed)...it refers to an AFL footballer (Carlton? whatevs) who has been dismissed by the club for putting nude photos, presumably of himself, on Social Media on the Interweb...(ah, I get it, a scrotum joke, witty Wilde, witty-Ed)...one does what one can...but I can't help feeling that it's perhaps a somewhat hypocritical and massive over-response to a stupid act...(apparently he has a 'history' of issues-Ed)...whatevs...on to real news... 


Former Liberal leader Isobel Redmond has responded to calls to apologise to the Electoral Commissioner Kay Mousley for referring to her under Parliamentary Privilege as "utterly corrupt", by repeating the claim because 'Ms Mousley's bias is so profound that it equates to corruption' (paraphrase)...(yeah, I don't think Ms Redmond has quite grasped the fundamental Principles of Apology-Ed)...go' bless 'er, go' bless...

And in closing I'd just like to say how great it is to see/hear that City Council is attacking a private citizen for not paying his rates, and that this includes expensive repeated Court actions...that rate-payers pay for...great to see that Council's got it's priorities sorted...on one hand for example, there's the massive corruption of the Main Corner Project and 'free leasing' to Councillor Des Mutton's son, all done at massive expense to ratepayers, yet the same Council are trying to kick someone out of his home for a relative pittance...

(And why can't they just ask the Court to garnishee his income?-Ed)...or defer as they do with other cases? no idea...perhaps Council doesn't like him? perhaps Council are just thugs and bullies?...and seen through the lens of Council's outrageous expenditure on the most retrograde of projects, eg, the entirely pointless Main Corner again, hiding the beautiful Kings Theatre behind a recycled aircraft hangar, and oh my god, concrete pavers up The Main...these are the things that Council needs to pay for...now my head's starting to hurt...

Mt Gambier City Council - The Rail Lands Retail Agenda

Hello y'all and welcome to the blog China, Taiwan, Germany, and Ukraine...I know I've covered the RLRA in numerous previous posts but it bears review in light of the most recent Budget moves from City Council in response to the proposed Federal budget...

Post Scriptus Interuptus: in that I apologise because I've done it again and got to the 'end' of this post when I realised that I'd not actually started on the advertised post material...tomorrow, sorry...and I'm very confused because my computer has just informed me that I've just "logged out from another location" which obviously I haven't because I'm right here, beside myself as always, but still right here...(just earlier you were just over there-Ed)...true, but now I'm here...I wonder who else might have been accessing my blog?...

(Well, didn't you give SAPol your laptop and password?-Ed)...not willingly, I was told to, but yes...(so SAPol, whom you regularly hammer in this here blog for their rank pro-paedophile corruption, have your password so that they can sign onto your laptop and it will think it's you?-Ed)...yes, but they're hardly likely to try and change something...are they?...(who knows mate, nothing would surprise me at this point in time-Ed)...yeah, but why take the laptop then change the blog when it could be hacked easy enough while I still had it?...(no idea mate, sorry-Ed)...moving onto Council's Budget stuff...(but first-Ed)...

Last week I literally tried to get with the program, namely, that a 90 second 'news service' jammed into an advertisement break in the regular Adelaide news was a relatively positive move by WIN TV given they axed the South East/Riverland news early last year...but I can't maintain that fake optimism...I was immediately concerned to see that The Border Watch is preparing these items for WIN TV because of TBWs propensity for rancid propaganda on behalf of Council and/or other vested interests...and those concerns have not diminished with some of the stuff in recent TBWs.

Pardon My Paranoia: but I couldn't help wondering what and/or who is it that these clowns are so keen to address by initiating what is at best a rude reminder of what a prick of a thing WIN TV did in closing their News Service in the first place...(so you're suggesting that there may be some sort of cat or other species of fat, feral firker that they're trying to get back into the bag-Ed)...a very, very pissed off cat at that...and word on the street is that such a cat exists...

This Cat's Scratching Post: As I understand it there are some fairly mainstream 'conservative' Mt Gambierites who are becoming aware of the corruption going on around them, particularly the St Martins/Child Abuse stuff, and what it is costing their community, and they're not particularly happy about it...and they are accessing and discussing information about that stuff by scratching around on the Interweb...including on blogs such as this...and there is a very clear respondent desire to see that discussion cease...

As far as I'm concerned, that News service was originally shut down not just to save money for WIN TV, but to isolate the South East from the rest of an uncaring state and/or nation so that it can be anonymously carved up by corrupt politicians and big business interests in Fracking, Wind Turbines, Forestry, etc...who outside of the Region has the faintest idea and/or for that matter gives a damn about the deliberate dismantling of SE communities with unsustainable service/job cuts, gross underfunding, etc?

And have a good hard look at Democracy Adelaide style too...it's all Arts and Festivals and look how shreckin' progressive we are, but in reality Adelaide's buttoned down tighter than an anaphylactic apiarists (bee-keepers) bonnet, run by a paedophile lobby from the benches of Parliament and the heads of government authorities...step outta line and you are relentlessly attacked...doesn't matter if you're a parent of an abused child, protect the paedophile and attack those who speak out...

The St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up is not an unfortunate anomaly, a desperately disappointing rarity, it is the text-book case study in a Paedophile State operating to protect a "text-book grooming paedophile" (how Flinders Child Protection Service described teacher Glyn Dorling)...a State complicit with an entirely corrupt Lutheran Church who are apparently entirely untouchable when it comes to being held to account for the paedophilia they foster and promote in their schools...

The St Martins case shows the Lutheran hierarchy to be supportive of paedophilia and wanting to have paedophiles operating in their schools...why would they want this?...and in a State concurrently run by paedophiles, it is an agenda easily achieved and readily maintained...and you'll excuse me if I continue to indulge in personal venting about the St Martins Cover-up but 1) the June long weekend 12th Anniversary looms large on the horizon, and 2) I'm still 'recovering' from the most excellent raiding of my home now nearly 4 weeks ago...(no it isn't!?-Ed)...yes it is...(damn, seems like it was only 27 days-Ed)...hilarious...

I find it inconceivable that the St Martins Cover-up is purely about protecting the Lutheran Church because they could have just dealt with it straight up, charged Glyn Dorling, etc, and it would have likely gone away a decade ago...instead, they've lied and denied every step of the way and so it dangles Damaclesiastically...all of these senior people in the Lutheran Church, SAPol, the Labor Party, the Liberals, government authorities, etc, et al, ad infinitum...I know, you've heard it all before...all of these people were nay are hell-bent on denying the undeniable and defending the indefensible...

Why would they do this if they did not it want it to be that way?


In Closing: Liberal Member for Barker Tony Pasin was on the ABC Radio this morning trying to sell their impending Budget...(trying and failing-Ed)...indeed...some waffle about protecting future generations 'let's not saddle them with our debt' (paraphrase)...(from the generation that raised the debt, and got free or heavily subsidised education doing it-Ed)...exactly, and credit where due that question was put to him...(and his response?-Ed)...didn't, just more waffle about how every Australian who wants to go to Uni can...(typical-Ed)...

They will of course have financially crippling debts (HECS) that will completely compromise other 'start of life' issues such as building a home, starting a family, etc, and continue to blow out due to interest rates, which will itself affect the Housing Industry, etc...cost and debt become a massive consideration and leaves those who can afford it far more likely to get to Uni than an equally deserving but poorer peer...it's purely about getting the bloody peasants back in the fields or down the mines where they belong.   

When it was put to Mr Pasin that perceptions are this Budget takes from the poor and gives to the rich, Mr Pasin talked about how anyone with an income below $180,000 will be spared the 'Budget Crisis Levy', and that 'we're not  asking people to do what we aren't doing ourselves, we've taken a pay freeze, plus I'm in that higher wage bracket so I get hit twice' (paraphrase)...(do you think he understands how galling it is for the average person to hear their local Member talking about the huge sacrifices he's personally making because his wage is so high?-Ed)...I doubt it Ed, I doubt it...  

(And we all know that a 'pay freeze' means nothing because they'll just double their next pay rise same way they did a coupla' years back under Labor-Ed)...exactly...Mr Pasin was further adamant that claims made by the CFME Union rep (and 2006 Labor candidate for Mt Gambier) Brad Coates about problems with the Budget, were 'not borne out by the modelling'...(and I suppose that's Liberal modelling-Ed)...one does assume, yes, but one is also sure it gets called 'Independent'...

Pariahtisation and Fascocracy Revisited

Hello Poland, Lithuania, Turkey, and Indonesia and welcome to the blog...and I'm still all over the shop with my posting timing, eating and sleep patterns, etc...had a shocker last night, waking up every hour...(I'd suggest that possibly you've over-slept in the last few weeks and eventually you're body-clock has decided that's about enough sleep for now-Ed)...sounds reasonable...


Pariahtisation: is the orchestrated, organised, official vehicle for protecting corruption and the Corrupt by  shooting the messenger...where the Primary Directive is attack the source of exposure not the source of the corruption...it is the standard Religious Organisation strategy for covering-up Child Sexual Abuse, and has been used relentlessly against me and other parents by the Lutherans, SAPol, former local Member Rory McEwen, etc.

For example, re the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up, in June 2002 the Lutherans were telling me/parents directly involved how bad it all was and that they would sort it out, etc, but were concurrently denigrating these parents/me to the rest of the Lutheran and/or school community as being vicious rumour-mongers out to make money from the school over a completely innocuous "Christian Cuddle"...(I think you should start Christian Cuddling a few people, say, Rory McEwen for example, so that they may have a proper understanding of just exactly what that meant in Glyn Dorling's class in 2002-Ed)...

Oh it's crossed my mind too Ed as to exactly how authorities would explain charging me for assault, indecent assault, battery, deprivation of liberty, refusal of access to toilets leading to self-wetting and/or soiling...(itself a breach of Human Rights Conventions-Ed)...indeed it is...gross repeated humiliation, denigration, and criticism, etc, etc...how they would charge me for doing these things to say for example Rory McEwen, a key player in knowingly covering-up these gross abuses as described, to charge me when they wouldn't even interview St Martins teacher Glyn Dorling in 2002.

SAPol knew the broader details as above of what was being done to our children because I/parents explained it to them right from Dorling's 'removal' from the school on the June long weekend 2002...repeatedly...with written statements that SAPol refused to accept, etc, etc...I re-iterate the insidiously complicit involvement of SAPol in the St Martins Cover-up and the way we parent's have been attacked when I express my unbounded contempt for the latest official Child Abuse Cover-up out of New South Wales...(orr this is a shocker-Ed)...indeed...

Former NSW police officer Peter Fox became famous as the whistleblower who exposed institutionalised paedophile corruption in the Catholic Church and alleged complicit involvement of local police in the Newcastle/Maitland area of NSW...in essence, a pro-paedophile conspiracy of Church officials and very senior NSW police that protected paedophile priests and potentially other perpetrators, eg, other Catholics, possibly police officers, etc...Mr Fox's efforts spawned a NSW based Inquiry and very shortly afterward was identified as a key catalyst for the National Child Abuse Royal Commission...

Now the NSW Inquiry has handed down it's findings and it's text-book Pariahtisation...the report slams Peter Fox as a "zealot" who is unreliable as a witness, "deliberately untruthful", and condemns 4 Catholics all of whom are already dead yet recommends action against only one unnamed current Catholic, and completely exonerates police...it's a farcical bloody insult and every bit the cover-up it claims to have investigated...Mr Fox has been Pariahtised...(solidarity brother...Strike Up Not Out-Ed)...thankyou comrade Ed...there's tons of commentary and reportage on this issue on the Interweb, check it out...

And with St Martins I have been attacked by people I had called friends as being a "zealot" and being "on a crusade", etc, and the TRB/CSO called me a liar, etc, and SAPol have never been called to any of the alleged Inquiries into Glyn Dorling and St Martins to present their alleged 'evidence' from their 2 alleged investigations...(yeah, but fronting Inquiries would immediately expose that SAPol did no investigation what-so-ever in June/July 2002 and then again with their alleged re-investigation in 2005/06-Ed)...yes exactly...(but just because SAPol is a key player in the St Martins Cover-up it doesn't prove anything in NSW-Ed)...

Drug Testing For Dole Recipients:...(is a great idea because we don't have the cash to blow on low quality drugs so government subsidised testing of drug quality will save us dole-bludgers money-Ed)...I don't think that's what they mean...(and of course there's the health issues re tainted drugs, overdose, etc-Ed)...yeah that's a slightly more sensible point...Ed is of course referring to the latest piece of Fascist bastardry to come spewing out of the Liberal Party about drug-testing those applying for the drastically inadequate NewStart Allowance...

This is yet another attempt/agenda to vilify and demonise the unemployed, mental health patients, single mums, Aboriginal peoples, etc, basically everybody who isn't a middle-aged white man...(and that coming from a middle-aged white man-Ed)...and hence it is doubly my responsibility to address this socio-political bullying bastardry...(double?-Ed)...once as a MAWM and again as a Disability Support Pensioner...

And I'm not the only one to suggest that there should be daily, mandatory drug-testing of police, politicians, judges, bus drivers, pilots, teachers, etc, etc...just think of all the people who should be getting tested before you start attacking the lowest rung of the ladder...(but that's the Liberal's entire strategy...don't fix anything because you can't, instead just find people to blame, particularly people who don't have anyway of fighting back-Ed)...indeed, it is the Fascism of your average private school Prefect...

It's what the Liberal Party are, state and national...incompetent silver-spooner bullies who only have plans that benefit themselves and there mates in business, mining, etc...they are out to re-define the class inequality and inequity and social elitism that makes it alright to blame the less fortunate, those who often have nothing, for the exorbitant price of a new BMW or a bottle of Grange Hermitage...(bloody peasants-Ed)...

Mind you, the Liberals also seem to be running some sort a ludicrous good cop/bad cop thing...(that or they have no real idea what they're doing because they're wholly driven by ideology not reality-Ed)...
fair enough...either way, they are increasingly contradicting each other, often within minutes, eg, recent statements by Treasurer Joe Hockey and Education Minister Christopher Pyne that Higher Education Contribution Scheme (HECS) debts will be recovered from Deceased Estates, statements immediately refuted by Prime Minister Tony Abbott.

(Yeah, but that's just Tony Abbott identifying that he intends to make sure that no-one outside of Sydney's North Shore has anything left to take to the grave-Ed)...always thinking of others and how they can serve him...and that's your modern Australian politician right there, particularly the Liberals but with Labor closing fast...these people consider themselves our rulers not our servants, and they are our servants not our masters, and if that happens it's because we let it, and then we deserve it...

Now the same thing with this drug testing...a backbencher (LNP George Christensen) calls for it and the PM slaps it down...sounds like another round of Bernardis...(Bernardis? is that a cocktail?-Ed)...yes Ed, yes it is, well at least a recipe for manipulation...take one part Christian fundamentalism, one part Liberal ideology, stir publicly, and serve with a big wedge of righteousness...(you're talking about SA Liberal Cory Bernardi I know, but what's your point?-Ed)...point is, you get a backbencher to make an outrageous over-reach statement beyond what the Liberals really want, and it allows PM Abbott to 'revise' back to a comparatively less radical position...

(Which gives the PM relatively clear air with an issue that will still generate opposition but by his own definition is nowhere near the extremes others are canvassing...he's the voice of reason with an eye to compassion...what a thoroughly thoughtful and well-rounded gentleman-Ed)...yeah, right...(sorry, that was my attempt at sarcasm-Ed)...no no, fair enough, there's just nothing funny about this sort of blatant manipulation...(fair enough-Ed)...and 24hrs after it started the Drug Testing idea is dead in the water at the hand of the PM...

SAPol Raid My Home - Reprise

Hello United Kingdom, United States of America, United Arab Emirates, the United Nations, and all my fellow Units in the Unitverse and welcome to the blog...(sorry? the Unitverse?-Ed)...yeah, it's the Parallel Dimension/Reality/whatevs where in exists the Unit...(ah, I get it, it's not 'united' as in together, its 'united' as in having been made like a Unit, a Unit being a person, eg, 'he's a hard unit'-Ed)...yes, but specifically in this context, the most common utilisation and application of the Unit, being 'he's a loose unit', he's a bit crazy, etc...          

But First: I forgot in yesterday's (earlier today's?) post that Mt Gambier Mayor Steve Perryman was included in the Forsetry SA 'Voluntary Redundancy' debate stating that the impending $3-4million of lost wages not coming into Mt Gambier won't affect the Mount very much...(not that it'll affect him in any way-Ed)...exactly...furthermore, having acted for so long now to further his own business interests at the cost of Mt Gambier ratepayers, Mr Perryman has lost any right to talk about the welfare of the people of Mt Gambier and the Region...(right on comrade-Ed)...

At approx 1430hrs two SAPol Anti-Corruption Branch detectives lobbed on my doorstep, camera in hand, wanting to come in and interview me re something I'd put on this 'ere blog about a certain SA authority but they weren't allowed to say exactly what, an authority that I'm not sure I'm even allowed to identify...(here we go, this is just ridiculous-Ed)...certainly is...I was not under arrest, spoke to them outside briefly, and agreed to meet them at the Mt Gambier Police Station next morning at 0900hrs...I spoke briefly with Community Legal Services who couldn't really advise me, and resolved to attend MGPS with a letter requesting explanation pending proper legal advice...

Attended MGPS at 1900hrs with my letter, the female detective read it and then stated that they (her and her partner) were coming to my home to execute a Search Warrant...there was a brief phone discussion with CLS again and following that advice I declined to be interviewed at which point the female detective stated that they were going to not just search my home but also seize my laptop...she brought up on her computer a section of the legislation I've supposedly transgressed, pointed at it and said "you've done this" and stated that they were here to gather evidence for the DPP (Director of Public Prosecutions) with a view to me being charged, "expect to be charged"...

I was handed a printout of what was on the screen, nothing was officially recorded, and we went to my house (where I was very fortunate to have a support person attend) and the detectives showed me a very dodgy looking open-ended anonymous alleged Search Warrant but refused to provide me a copy, and we went inside...I handed over my laptop as requested and my password as requested and found a couple of related letters which they photographed...there was no dramatic overturning of furniture or paperwork swept onto the floor with a furious flourish, it was all very polite...

The whole time they were at/in my home, I and/or my support person...(not a blog availee but we forgive them-Ed)...quietly went at the detectives about the various other issues on this 'ere blog, not least of all the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up, and what we thought of the fact that with all that's happened...(and all that hasn't-Ed)...indeed...with all that, it's an already deeply traumatised parent that gets SAPol in his home with a camera and a Search/Seizure Warrant, not any of the corrupt public officials responsible for St Martins et al...

And when I talk about corrupt public officials I mean of course Rory McEwen, Mike Rann, Jay Weatherill, et al, SAPol, the Teachers Registration Board, etc, etc, etc...you can't show me a senior South Australian public official who isn't complicit in the Cover-up of Child Abuse at St Martins, least none I've dealt with...and of course there's the bloody Lutherans themselves...take it from a crazy man, them Units are absolutely insane...(sob, such poetry-Ed)...sure, but I digress... 

In a moment spookily reminiscent of the SAPol raid of a Child Protection Activist's home back in April 2005 (in previous post April 6th 2013) the first thing on top of the several piles of newspapers and documents, etc, on my kitchen table was a letter to the then SAPol Mt Gambier Station head cop, Superintendent Mark Fairney...in 2005 the cop searched my bag and the first letter he found was one to then SAPol Commissioner Mal Hyde re the St Martins Cover-up...he read the first couple of paragraphs then quickly replaced the letter and no more was said about it...(hilarious all things considered-Ed)...indeed...

So it was on 8th May 2014 when I handed the detectives the Mark Fairney letter asking if he had a recording of when he called me (and some other parents) in early April 2006 to say that the DPP, SAPol, etc, had dumped their alleged "re-investigation" of the St Martins case, only weeks after the March 2006 state Election...implicit in that request but not acknowledged was that I knew Skid had quite illegally recorded those calls because I'd read the copy he provided another family of their call...I wrote several times but never even received a response...

(Um, why 'Skid'?-Ed)...it was Mark Fairney that I ran into that time at ABC Radio reception when I hadn't even said who I was and he went ghostly white, started shaking so hard he accidentally threw his phone along the counter onto the floor, and then rushed out as soon as he was done, clearly terrified...(ah, and so hence 'Skid' Mark Fairney-Ed)...exactly...(hilarious-Ed)...if it wasn't so serious...(fair enough-Ed)...again I digress...

The two detectives briefly went through my home to make sure there was no-one else hiding here but basically didn't touch a thing...I have no problem admitting that it was in the side of my mind...(I was also very concerned-Ed)...that one of them would suddenly 'discover' an unregistered gun or a big bag of smack or some such and I'd get my flabby carcass hauled to the clink...('smack' is Heroin, itself actually a brand name for Morphine derivative-Ed)...just fascinating...moving on...

After the event I feel somewhat foolish because the two detectives were ultimately quite polite and I think a little shell-shocked with the extensive discussion of St Martins, etc...(not least of all the several times they were availed of the many times that SAPol had refused to record meetings with parents, accept written statements, didn't even interview let alone charge teacher Glyn Dorling and couldn't possibly get a Search Warrant to seize his computer, etc, etc, please see previous posts re the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up-Ed)...indeed...

As they were leaving the female detective again stated that I "should expect to be charged" but could offer me no idea of when specifically and/or with what exactly, again admitting that there was a 'a lot of vagueness and grey areas and confusion around the legislation' (paraphrase)...I put it to them politely but succinctly that I wished I lived in a state where the best thing 2 Anti-Corruption detectives had to do in a day was to come and get me...they weren't exactly laughing but they didn't disagree...

As tense and unpleasant as the whole episode was, it remained foremost in my mind that despite what was happening in the side of aforementioned mind, eg, you're busted matey, it was highly likely that these were genuine officers just doing what they were sent to do...(it's what I'd do-IB)...Inner Bastard, you beauty...(yeah, I'd send decent cops to do the dirty work and then screw everybody over from there-IB)...absolutely, but thanks for confirming that...(cheers, now piss off-Ed)...hey, you called me...(oh yeah-IB)...

So they came to my home, we discussed St Martins, Council shenanigans, the blog, some unmentionable legislation relative to a certain un-nameable Authority and alleged potential charges, and then they left after about an hour...that was it...and over 3 weeks later I still feel a little lost in my own home...for the first few days after it was terrible because I fully expected them back on my doorstep to arrest me for whatevs, and it's still a bit like that...been doing a lot of sleeping/dozing and putting back on most of that nearly 6kgs I lost in those first days...

Anyhoos, after having spent just on 2 1/2hrs with SAPol detectives, twice at my home and for an hour at MGPS, across 2 days, all I have is a print-out of a page of legislation, a receipt for my laptop that was "seized" as "evidence", and a SAPol calling card, that's it...no statement, not nuffin'...I asked repeatedly if any of it was recorded and was repeatedly told no...I wasn't interviewed formally or charged...

Five days later, Tuesday 13th May, Labor's Attorney General John Rau and the relevant Commissioner were on the ABC stating that they were looking to change the exact section of legislation that I had been told I should "expect to be charged" with...(ludicrous-Ed)...in a recent post I quoted a relevant email from former Member for Mt Gambier  Don Pegler stating that he had spoken to John Rau, etc, in October 2013 about the problems with the legislation, over 6 months before I had my home raided, my laptop seized, etc...

The situation has not improved with no-one able to advise me on what exactly is happening or likely to happen because the legislation is all so vague and sweeping...and it's cost me a laptop, the programs, getting a re-vamped hard-drive and new programs, etc, to the tune of just over $1,200...as far as I'm concerned SAPol owe me $1,200...(good luck with that-Ed)...

Anyhoos, that's about it...they came they saw they seized me goods and made good their escape...and when I'm not driving pointlessly around in unplanned circles because I just don't want to go home and I've got nowhere else to go, I've barely left the house in weeks...and that's the idea I'm sure...attack and traumatise the whistle-blower...which segues beautifully in to,

Attacks the former police officer Peter Fox as being a zealot, unreliable witness, etc...I didn't hear 'delusional' used but that was the general idea...(charming-Ed)...yeah, everything that's happened with St Martins re police corruption, etc, all dismissed without any actual investigation...shreckin' laughable...
