Who Do Ya' Believe? Nah, Seriously, Who?

Hello and welcome to the blog y'all...and pushin' the Frackin' Part II stuff because of the issue that has dominated the news cycle locally...(you've already covered the ludicrous junket to China 'announced' by new Mayor Andrew Lee-Ed)...no no, it's the 'Ice' issue that has repeatedly been on the front page of The Border Watch and/or on the ABC Local Radio...but first...

In My Own Defense: because I wasn't there to defend myself...as put to me recently, I was yet again the first, second and third discourse amongst certain functionaries at a local function...(nice-Ed)...and said local luminaries were in their li'l greenhouse, dining out at my expense, chowing down on flingin' stones about who I apparently am and how I conduct myself...(so about you and/or this 'ere blog, but not about what you've clearly exposed about the rank corruption that is destroying Mt Gambier, eg, the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up, the extraordinary conduct of Mt Gambier City Council and the even more extraordinary official exoneration of it?-Ed)...pretty much...

I understand that there was minoritive factual referencing on the way to majoritive character flensing, but yes, about me, not about what I'm saying, other than to briefly dismiss it on the way to the stoning...(should be a good one today, local boy-SSFLOB)...where SSFLOB is the Stone Seller From Life Of Brian...and I do feel sorry for these people because they're so important and so busy and so happy and such upstanding community contributors and so on and so forth, they're all just such good citizens, and yet when presented with the reality they fetch forth the pitchforks and spark up the barbie for a good ol' fashion down home hippy roast...anyhoos...

Paedophilia In The Catholic Church Is A Moving Experience:...well at least that's if you're a paedophile priest caught out for their abuses...(I don't know whether to chastise you for making a 'paedophilia joke', or applaud you for the scythingly insightful wit-Ed)...do both, passion is not always beautiful and nor, therefore, is art, particularly the sarcastic political art of the angry bastard...I completely reject the latest bilious attempt by the Catholic Church to divert attention away from the reality of what they are, a business effectively run for and/or by paedophiles...

Now it's a whole raft of bollocks about how it's the 'celibacy' stuff that's the problem, and lack of Sex Education for nominee priests, and the cloistered environment, etc, etc, and how that can lead to aberrant behaviours like Sexual Assault...but the main tenet of this latest statement from the Catholics is based on the issue of 'celibacy'...(powerful stuff that celibacy-Ed)...indeed...(because it's forced the Catholic Church to move priests from diocese to diocese whilst attacking victims and their families via corrupted police investigations and Court hearings, and set-up It's/their property portfolio as a separate entity so as to protect those assets from victims seeking compensation, etc, etc-Ed)...powerful stuff that celibacy...

Furious joking aside, this latest announcement/concession by the Catholics is a vacuously transparent attempt to focus the blame for the abuse on the individual and distract from the reality that this is an organised agenda, organised from the top down...to shift the focus away from those responsible with a view to denying their culpability in running this set-up...but I digress...

Gotta' say straight off that what I know about 'Ice' is via other people's experiences as explained to me, eg, the young guys I met 5-6 years ago whilst doing Work For The Dole stuff at the Valley Lake, etc, what's in the media, etc...I didn't even watch much of Breaking Bad, didn't like it much...I've been very upfront about the very chequered history behind me before I even moved to Mt Gambier...(hang on, hang on, I've got it here somewherrrrrre here 'tis, classic, and I quote, "a drug-fuelled egomanic rampage", and unquote-Ed)...but I've never tried 'Ice' and couldn't say with any authority at all what does and doesn't happen re the drug in Mt Gambier...

(But you do hear stuff-Ed)...well yes, I just said that...(and people tell you stuff whether you want to know or not-Ed)...again, sometimes, but it's still not my direct experience, so that's technically all still hearsay...(but that doesn't hold ya' back when talking about other stuff on this 'ere blog-Ed)...well yeah it does, there's heaps of stuff that I don't put on the blog because it's something someone else has alleged without any proof, whether I believe them or not...(fair enough-Ed)...and/or I can't discuss it without exposing the 'teller', etc...

Anyhoos, as per previous recent posts, there's been heaps of often contradictory commentary in the local media about the 'Ice problem', one day it's a scourge, the next it's 'nuthin' to see here', and there's currently a murder trial involving a $50,000+ 'Ice' debt and allegations flyin' about about bikies being involved, and one gang undercutting another or something, etc, etc, and a lot of it's been in TBW, etc...and then on Wednesday there were apparently local SAPol raids of the Hells Angels and/or people associated, again in TBW Thursday...but I was just stunned with Friday's front page...(ummm, weren't the bikies mentioned re the trial Gypsy Jokers and The Finks, but these raids were of the Hells Angels?-Ed)...I can only tell you what was in TBW, on the ABC, etc...

But what I can say is that local senior SAPol officer Superintendent Trevor Twilley has been prominent with various workshops/forums/whatevs re the 'Ice problem', but has been equally prominent hosing down the issue as relatively minor...then Friday's headline (12th December 2014) is, Icy grip takes hold -Social class no barrier to methamphetamine addiction...with a quote from Super Twilley, "I certainly know of some well-respected community leaders from within our community who are addicted to ice."...(sorry what?-Ed)...you heard....and this is following the Channel 7 Today Tonight feature that referred to Mt Gambier as Sow Straya's 'Ice Capital'...but apparently that's not true either...

Because it's just so confusing I've added the article below, and more tomorrow...

"A Righteous Deed" Dude: says renowned surfin' legend Kim Yong-un as the North Korean government/Security Services surfed the Interweb right into SONY and hung a big fat ten on it, right on it, by hacking their computers, etc, and releasing a bunch of stuff about stuff...(and SONY are stuffed as a result?-Ed)...vast amounts of staff personal documents and/or customers stuff...(staff stuff?-Ed)...including the CEO's emails bagging-out various stars and/or the apparently dreadful movie that caused the NK to drop in on SONY...(I didn't even know that young Kim was a surfer?-Ed)...orrr yeah, in North Korea he's World Champ...at everything...

Tomorrow: I'm Still Confused

And we haven't even got to tomorrow yet...I am Nick Fletcher and this is my blog...cheers and laters...

Release The Frackin'

(Oh thank goodness, at last-Ed)...fair enough...and welcome to the blog Italy, the USofA, the UK, and the EU...(yoohoo the EU, cooee-Ed)...yes indeed, hello...but just quickly re the announcement on the ABC Local Radio (Tuesday 9th December 2014) by new Mt Gambier Mayor Andrew Lee that 'within months' he's going to lead a delegation from Council with local business reps and other local Local Government officers from other Councils...(sweet baby cheeses-Ed)...indeed...

The Apple Cart Called Gravy Train Grows Wings And Flies: as Mayor Lee reckons that he and a select golden few must jet off to China to make sure China knows that we're here and where exactly here is, being Mt Gambier and/or the South East...(I thought he said we're 'building a bridge to China'-Ed)...yes, building a bridge by flying there...(and I'm pretty sure China knows exactly where we are already-Ed)...that's my point, of course they bloody do, the whole thing's a pointless junket, a mutual reward for all involved to jet-off overseas on the Ratepayer's dollar...it's a bloody disgrace...

And I'm always deeply cynical when someone, anyone proudly declares their own "integrity" as Mayor Lee did in this interview...I don't care who says that because for me it's a dirty fat flag of concern not to be ignored...a bit like the question that answers itself, it's the statement that questions itself...(excellent-Ed)...I've sat through literally dozens of meetings where on many occasions (then) Councillor Lee didn't leave the Chamber on issues he had a direct Conflict of Interest in as a restaurant owner...

Mayor Lee also repeatedly stated that Foreign Investment is great and we just can't get enough...(oh yay-Ed)...this bobbed up again today in The Border Watch and I can only assume that this will be coming up as a Motion Without Notice at the next Council meeting, because I don't reckon it's in the current Agenda, but I know as fact that this has not been voted on in Council yet...(but this was covered on the ABC Tuesday and it's in TBW today, being discussed in a context and tense that it's a done deal and it's happ'nin'-Ed)...well exactly...

How many times now?...Council business announced as a done deal on the ABC and/or in TBW and then that stuff goes through Council processes that should surely have proceeded the declaration...(isn't that what happened with the super-dodgy Tender process re the Solar Lights around the Blue Lake?-Ed)...yeah, that and that the announced Tender winner had been allowed to submit 2 quite differing Tenders, and that Council tried to accept the lower one and then negotiate toward the higher...(wow, there's nuthin' corrupt about that, is there? just fine-Ed)...just fine...

Also on the ABC this morning yet another interview with the Lutherans about what great work they're doing with their Christmas lunch at The Main Corner/Town Hall on Xmas Day...on and on and on about how fantastic everyone is donating their time for the poor lonely people because god loves them...and Council have donated the Main Corner...(just amazing how generous Council can be with Ratepayer's money-Ed)...you're referring of course to the fact that everything about the Main Corner is subsidised by Ratepayers?...(correct-Ed)...and that therefore Ratepayers are paying for a goodly part of this little Lutheran promotional soiree...(indeed-Ed)...

And this following multiple references this week to the Lutheran's charming community embracing thing they're doing at their church in Edward St each Thursday evening up to Xmas...I used to go there when my son was in kindy, and bust my back doing stuff for those Lutheran shrecks, eg, when they did the major renovation and expansion of the kindergarten and playground in 1999 and I spent days even weeks hauling/digging/painting/whatevs...just making the point that as furious as I am with the Lutherans re the St Martins Cover-up I'd just never consider it appropriate to attend this bullshit thing at their precious church...not the right place, not the right time...

And all that following last Friday's ABC effort of putting Rory McEwen repeatedly albeit briefly on air to spruik his great work with the Ulysses Motorcycle Club and Lions I think it was (sorry if it was Rotary, etc) re the Motorcyclists Toy Run...but exactly the same principle applies to this as rockin' up to the Lutheran church just because I'm pissed off at them and they've been pissin' in my ear all day in that soporifically sanctimonious way that they do, it simply wasn't the place to go to confront Rory, so I didn't go...if these people want Rory representing them that's their problem...

I know Wind Turbines are very 'popular' across Europe and the UK and the USofA for that matter...(and Italy is part of Europe, and they do have Turbines there because there was some more stuff in the media just recently bangin' on about alleged Mafia involvement and rorting Reneweable Certificates and shizzle-Ed)...indeed they are and indeed there was...(and furthermore, I'd suggest that Turbines are not always 'popular' as much as they are 'populace'-Ed)...fair point...but all of that aside, I'm talkin' about right about here...(what's this got to do with Release The Frackin'-Ed)...

(What's with the Turbine stuff? I thought we were definitely doing shreckin' Frackin today-Ed)...just gettin' there via a quick acknowledgement of the stuff recently sent me re Wind Turbines and their placement on unstable ground underpinned by porous, cave-riddled Limestone formations in a seismically sensitive area and resultant ground vibration, sink holes related or coincidental, etc, as would obviously be an issue with projects like the Woakwine Range project...this issue has frequently been raised previous by people concerned with the haphazard placement of Wind Turbines across the South East...

There was also a segment featuring Mt Gambier on Sixty Minutes or Sunday or The Whatevs Report last Sunday 7th December...(whatevs?-Ed)...exactly, in a bigger bit about Sinkholes...there was a beautiful drone shot of the Cave Garden cave entrance that leads off right under the Main Corner building and intersection, and Hells Hole and Umpherston Cave also...part of the full story was related to mining and in particular Fracking and the impacts this can have on ground movement and ultimately subsidence, etc...

Gettin To Kickin' The Frickin' Frackin': via the Geology, via the science so simple even a rabid old dog such as I can learns it I cans...anyhoos, I am not a Geologist, my knowledge of the Limestone Karst system that exists below the surface here abouts, my knowings comes from readin' a coupla' books at the Library and all the stuff at Englebrecht Cave, etc, when I was a Cave Guide there for Lifeline...(back last century nay millennium?-Ed)...you're hilarious...and yes last century...

So's today's homework...(homework? you haven't even done the Frackin' yet-Ed)...just hang on until,

Tomorrow: Release The Frackin' Part II: Re-Releasing The Frackin'

(Strewth...and the homework?-Ed)...oh yeah, just go to Englebrecht Cave on Whatevs Search Engine and check out the beautiful photos, etc, by way of checking out the underground structures that criss-cross the South East, which with Englebrecht is actually 2 caves accessible via a central collapse...and note Umpherston Cvae and Cave Gardens also as they show similar collapses...sorry couldn't find a photo of the map at EC that shows the cave-diver explored system that goes right under the adjacent Jubilee Hwy, including a massive chamber directly under the highway, with a small island in the centre...

When I was guiding there, divers told me of being able to stand on the island and hear large trucks rumbling past overhead with dust and small pebbles raining down on them...and that's one little cave system...how this relates to Fracking tomorrow...

I am Nick Fletcher and this is my blog..cheers and laters...

Dealin' With My Own Stuff

Hello Fiji, Denmark, South Africa and Aotearoa (New Zealand) and welcome all to the blog...and I'm not going to apologise for not apologising for missing yet another post...another day of sitting down to the keyboard and just looking at it and not wanting to be there (here)* and turning it off again and spending much of the day dozing on the couch and not much else...I don't apologise for not coping particularly well at the moment and my genuine commitment to at least continue forward with the blog is constantly hampered by the realities I find myself not so much involved as embroiled in...           (*Post script apology - that ain't a 'suicidey' declaration or anthin', that's just a literal depiction about not wanting to be sitting at the computer and going through it all again today thanks very much)

(And sometimes doin' the blog is personally cathartic and sometimes it has some small effect or outcome elsewhere, but in all ways it's often about being emotionally, psychologically, and then ultimately physically dragged kicking outta' the fire and into the embroiler-Ed)...wow, Ed, you do listen, and well put too sir...(listen? didn't know I had a choice...I've just heard it over and over...whinge, bleat, bloody belly achin' and moanin', bangin' on and on-Ed)...ok ok, fair enough, but don't just criticise me for speakin' out about this shizzle, show me where I'm wrong and I'll apologise for that and get on with the rest...

(Ah, the perfect hand well played sir, because you know that I know that you know that I know damn well that if any of what you keep screechin' about here in this 'ere blog, if any of it were not true, if it were not so thoroughly provable and therefore defendable in a shreckin' Court, even in a South Australian Court, you'd have had at least one if not some if not all of these clowns bring their oft promised Defamation Circus to your li'l  town and pitch their tents and toss their threats and hoist an actual case up the massive stack of empty promises they've hurled at you thus far-Ed)...absolutely...

Segues To This: brief reminder that it's now 7 months since 2 SAPol Anti-Corruption detectives very sortta' politely visited (7th May 2014) then raided my home (8th May) telling me that I should "expect to be charged" for apparently talking about a, if not the, major Sow Strayn 'legal' Authority supposedly doing what it's supposedly supposed to do and then concluding that with positive and glowing outcomes for all concerned...but it ain't about me...except of course only those bits that is all clearly quite about me...(what it is to be special-Ed)...and that when I went to get legal advice about this Club GoGo Bananas/the Banana Lord stuff, and after I pointed it out, said legal advice had to write to the Big Banana asking for permission, written permission, to be allowed to even talk to me, about something I hadn't even been charged with...

And I've been advised that I shouldn't reveal my strugglings and stressings and the associated physical manifestations...(he means dozing on the couch-Ed)...for example, because by discussin' my suff'rin' I'm supposedly givin' succour to those whom would gladly see me suffer...and suffer I do and yet here I am...and furthermore, I find myself in the conundrummy position of being in receipt of good news, but am not at liberty to divulge/discuss/whatevs because it ain't specifically my shizzle...(not even a clue?-Ed)...I've mentioned it in the blog previous...(ok, hilarious, 650+ posts, each of them bangin' on all over the shop about a range of issues...what about a real clue?-Ed)...sorry, just ain't mine to share...one day maybe, hopefully soon...(ok ok-Ed)...

Point being that it knocked me flat, again, but instead of by trauma and/or anger and/or whatevs, it was more like being deflated by a sudden release of pressure...it's a fair reminder that I'm functioning largely on anger rather than inspiration...and aside from my own shizzle was the terrible news of another Country Fire Service volunteer being struck and killed by a fellow CFS worker in another unit truck...this collision occurred on the same stretch of road and only 20 kms from where 4 members of the one family were killed last week, and follows the death of another CFS volunteer back in October...

For What It's Worth: I'd reckon that on the last day of the Adelaide Cricket Test (currently day 3 of 5) that there should be a least one minute of reflective silence for these 2 CFS volunteers and their families, etc...much has been made of the death of cricketer Philip Hughes, and it's undoubtedly a tragic accident that obviously has shocked many people, but I find myself pushed inevitably toward the collective who find the response to Mr Hughes's death to be inappropriately over-the-top...

Again, I have no professional credentials, but just personally I think this 'over-reaction' is a bit of a 'release valve' for some of the pent-up emotions in a society feeling so bludgeoned and traumatised by relentless footage of airstrikes and bombings and beheadings and water-boarding and Climate Doom and personal debt and perpetual impending unemployment, etc, etc...it is just such a sudden and fundamentally pointless and unfair loss for Phillip's family and friends, team-mates and even opponents, etc, and given his relatively high profile as an Aussie cricketer his death also reaches to the wider cricket community, players and supporters alike, and beyond that to many who don't give a hoot about cricket...

So Sue Me Some More: because apparently Labor Minister 'Neon' Leon Bignell's now former partner Sandra De Poi...(whom apparently was/is/whatevs the current/former/whatevs partner of Neon's Personal Assistant/Advisor/whatevs-Ed)...deadset?..(that's what I read-Ed)...fair enough, well she's 'suing for defamation' (or at least threatening to) re her collectively corrupt behaviour as a Director of WorkCover and a company receiving nearly $6million in WorkCover contracts...(and also that dressin' up as a Family First polling booth volunteer at the March 2010 State Election and handin' out deliberately false 'How To Vote' flyers fraudulently directing FF preferences to Labor rather than the Liberals as was FF intention-Ed)...yeah yeah, that's her...

Well apparently she's havin' a go at suing the Liberals, The Advertiser/News Limited, Bullwinkle the Moose, and whatevs that lives on the Dark Side Of The Moon...(whaaa?-Ed)...she's havin' a go at pretty much everyone and everything for sayin' pretty much exactly what she has done...(bit more info please-Ed)...it was an article from The Advertiser that I've referenced when covering this, perhaps the specific one that Sandra is whingin' about, and to that end have included it attached at this end, again (*no I haven't, can't find it - sorry*)...it's just so sad it's hilarious that when held under the spotlight of scrutiny that Ms De Poi would scuttle for the shelter of 'defamation'...(ah, so you reckon that she'll get this and then go after others whom have repeated these scurrilous truths?-Ed)...nuthin' would surprise me at this stage...

Taking The Shirt Off Ya' Front:...(oo oo, hows about 'Causing A Short Affront'?-Ed)...nice...we are of course referring to the Australian National Dictionary Centre's word of the year for 2014, 'shirt-front', as used by PM Tony Abbott recently to describe how he was going to negotiate with Russia's Vladimir Putin...(ironic really?-Ed)...how so?...(well The Mad Monks Foreign Policy strategies include assaulting unsuspecting World Leaders front on via their shirts, whilst his Budget is furiously floundering so he's looking to go around the Senate, behind Democracy's back if you will, looking to take the shirt off the backs of many Australians-Ed)...well it's far easier to do all that "heavy lifting" that we all need to do according to the PM, if we're all unencumbered by shirts...(ah yes, I see his point...clothing can be so restrictive-Ed)...oh for the love of gourd, put it back on, no-one needs to see that...(I'm too sexy for my clothes, too sexy for my...-Ed)...enough!...you'll frighten the animals...

To Russia With Love: 2 things, namely 1) can't believe that I'm explaining/apologising for Tones, but when I first heard him say this 'shirt-front' thingy I immediately thought that he's just gotten hold of a term from a code of football (the AFL) that he...(a Rugger man-Ed)...a Rugby man doesn't understand to describe what he was going to do when he met Vladimir Putin, namely, 'tackle him head-on on the issue', 'not shy from confronting him', etc...unfortunately 'shirt-front' almost invariably involves an aggressor causing physical harm to a relatively vulnerable opponent often unawares they are about to get violently assaulted...

Just for the record, and I ain't no lawyer, but any contact sport of the nature of Gridiron, Aussie Rules (AFL), Rugby, etc, is a Contract of 'mutually agreed assault' because it infers/covers the guaranteed heavy physical contacts and resultant injuries that are part of these games...just sayin'...and 2) it could have been so much worse had PM Tones got his 'liftings' and his 'frontings' confused when verbosely chastising the V-Lad...(I'm very much hoping that's a scythingly insightful application of humour utilising the otherwise highly abusive term 'shirt-lifter' as used to describe a gay man, used here in a context where it is a critical reference to Russia's relatively conservative views on homosexuality, etc...please tell me it was that-Ed)...ummm, yes?...

Go David Hicks: the youngish Aussie who was a former guest of the USofA's Guantanamoa Bay, held in detention for over 6 years without charge or trial, and whom pleaded guilty to a charge that doesn't actually exist under Australian, USofA, or any International law, pleading guilty just to get outta' there...last evening he attended the Humanitarian Awards and confronted Liberal Senator George Brandis, whom bravely left...I don't condone anything Hicks did, but his treatment as an alleged prisoner of war, and the abject failure of the John Howard Liberal government to act re his welfare, are all manifestly unacceptable...

In closing, thanks again for all of the support I have received around and/or since the Mayoral contest, etc, and to all availees thanks for your patience and persistence and support as I work back to a better place, hopefully not at the expense of your time in reading this...cheers...

Tomorrow: The Frackin' Sets Sail

Apologies for pushing this post yet again. but it's a full post to cover the implications of Frackin' and sinkholes and seismic activity and Wind Turbines and the local Geology and how it all relates to one another...(strewth, fair enough-Ed)...

I am Nick Fletcher and this is my blog...cheers and laters...

Millstones And Monorails

Hello one and all and welcome to the blog, and especially to Turkey whom have briefly bobbed-up again after another month+ long absence...howdy...and today we're going to move forward by going back to autopsy the attached articles from The Border Watch as started the other day...but first...

And in the Fisher By-Election (following the death of long-time Member conservative Independent Bob Such) it looks like the Liberals may yet drag their allegedly safe Conservative seat outta' the fire by a handful of votes...it looked all but gone to Labor, but recent counting has the Libs 17 whole votes ahead, but counting continues and will do so for days to come...keep ya' posted...much has been made at a state level of the damage caused to the Liberal cause by the comments re 'canoes' from Federal Defense Minister David Johnston, with very little acknowledgement of the truths there-in, namely, that there are clearly some major problems at the Australian Submarine Corp...

It's a poison chalice for local politicians who want to speak out about the aforementioned problems re ship-building in South Australia, eg, the cost and delivery date blow-outs of the 3 Air Warfare Destroyer Boat thingys that are now set to be finished 2-3 years after the original due date, and at an as yet un-calculated cost increase...(yeah, it's not a great foundation upon which to build faith in a future of building-Ed)...well put...

One Degree Of Separation: because way, way back in the day, I went out with a young woman who as a child survived Cyclone Tracy, a relatively unexpected and severe tropical storm that slammed into Darwin (Northern Territory) early on Christmas Day in 1974...she has featured previous as my first real relationship whom I met at the ZZ Top concert, Memorial Drive, Adelaide, March 6th 1987...she, her brother, and adoptive parents, rode out the storm in their bathtub under a collapsed ceiling...(wow-Ed)...indeed...and pssst, I still love her...(you are pathetic, you really are-Ed)...so sue me...

Hear Me, Here Me, Lend Me Your Years: apparently Mt Gambier is 60 years today a city...and Mayor Andrew Lee was on the ABC bangin' on about how 'we're making history' by having an Asian Mayor (the City's first), and the first Aboriginal Councillor Mark Lovett, etc...(yeah, yeah, hooray for Mt Gambier-Ed)...yeah, it's something I really struggle with too, ya' know?...(I know-ed)...it's hard for me to to take 'civic pride' in what is to my experience such a corrupt and broken town...there are some very real problems with Mt Gambier, problems that most people seem either ignorant of or happy to ignore, particularly the local media...which is a lovely segue into the realisation of that corruption and dysfunction via these attached articles and their ilk...

But first, and itself a bit seguish, I cannot understand the apparently contradictory reportage in The Border Watch, where-in one day it's stories about the apparent/alleged murder of a local man re an alleged $50,000-$80,000 drug debt re Ice/Crack/whatevs, and stories about local addicts and their suffering, etc, then literally the next day it's SAPol (police) in TBW and it's all 'hey, nuthin to see here, everything's fine, relax mister'...(and then next day it's back to the scourge of Ice, etc-Ed)...exactly, you've noticed that too?...(yeah, not necessarily as an exact sequence, but certainly the very conflicting storyline that yes there are problems but it's ok because there aren't-Ed)...now that's some Old School Confusin' right there...

Not A Word Of A Lie: but I went to have dinner, came back to here to finish the post and the Ice issue is on Channel 7's Today Tonight and there's footage of Mt Gambier High School, and there's TBW Editor Jason Wallace and they're covering the abduction and alleged murder as above...and now it's footage of driving around Mt Gambier streets at night and interviews with a disguised recovering addict couple...unfortunately I missed the opening bit but it was clearly saying that there's a major problem with Ice in Mt Gambier (and other Regional centres?)...hopefully this will be on their website within days...but I digress...

Park And Stride:...(sweet baby cheeses, I nearly parked something in my strides I was laughing so hard when I saw this sorry excuse for a Social Initiative dredged-up and spewed back into Ratepayer's laps-Ed)...Ratepayers? what's it got to do with Ratepayers? why are you always on about the poor bloody Ratepayers?...(oh don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming Ratepayers, what I'm sayin' is that everything Council does has everything to do with Ratepayers because every single cent that Council spends is a Ratepayers cent-Ed)...fair enough...and every cent spent on this nonsense, on the t-shirts and the flyers, every minute of Council employee time, all of the associated bollockry, every dime is Ratepayer's...every single one...

I'll Say It Again: Any Grant to the City, any Rates collected, any Dividend received, any Asset realised and/or rationalised and/or divested, each and every dirty dollar skulkingly diverted to the multiple legal issues that Council engages in but are so very rarely aired, every stupid sod turned, every minute every Council employee has work, everything that happens, everything the li'l town owns, it all belongs to Ratepayers, and it's all payed for by Ratepayers, and Council is supposed to serve the Ratepayers as our employees...but in each and every way this reality is distorted by a small raft of vested interests who clearly believe that they don't live to serve, but deserve to rule...

Scent Of A Ratepayer:...the ways Council has found to waste that money absolutely stinks, and in a context where it's the stink, the stench of every mis-spent cent sent down the gurgler by bent gents on venues and events of self-service and ridiculous nodes that remove carparks from the Main St and then tell everyone to Park and Stride...(Get and Stuffed-Ed)....precisely...who the hell is Council, and Graham Greenwood for that matter, to tell me that I have to park aways over there and walk wherevs and whatevs...get stuffed...here's a crazy idea, how's about provide the maximum parks possible to improve access to the central shopping district and that'll improve commerce, etc...(oh that's just crazy talk-Ed)...and don't shreck-up half the street with ludicrous nodes that serve no purpose...(you've gone coco-loco, insane in the membrane-Ed)...

That's Not How You Spell Millstone:...(oh, are we getting a rollercoaster? what about a Monorail?-Ed)...Monorail!...(Monorail!-Ratepayers)...this hilarious reference to The Simpsons cartoon is of course referring in reality to the attached article below...had planned to just move on from these but there's a ton of stuff going on here-in...just for the record, I don't know this writer and he may well genuinely have no idea of what's really going on re what he's commenting on, and/or there's the massive Editorial pressure to run the Vested Interests playbook, etc, etc, but the facts are undeniable, namely;
  1) Mark McShane was dual CEO for the first 2 years, with his predecessor Greg Muller employed
      full-time by Council under Manager Projects 1.0;
  2) this article is a litany of disasters almost entirely of Council's/McShane's own creation, over which Mr
McShenanigans has largely presided, much of it based on the Rail Lands Retail Agenda, as covered
in many previous posts, eg, Council's rank refusal to centralise the Lady Nelson Bus Shelter, a refusal
      motivated by the desire to keep the Rail Lands site clear for Retail Development;
  3) Mr McShane was fully involved in the ludicrously irresponsible 2013/14 Council Budget that
self-approved doubling Council's debt capacity and massively raising Rates, and the
break-neck/break-bank rate at which they spent that money on the Rail Lands, the Old Hospital
Demolition, and the Caroline Landfill...all $6million borrowed all gone inside 12 months...(well, it's
      only money-Ed)...

And I remind availees of then Mayor Steve Perryman's Conflict of Interest where the demolition contractor McMahons were all gunna' go an' stay with Stevo mate...(maaate-Ed)...out there at Rancho Relaxo or whatevs he calls his little motel thingy...(sorry, missed that, I thought I could hear someone screaming "rank Insider Trading and Corruption", but it was only me, ahaha-Ed)...nice...and reminder also that Council purchased and then demolished what was a sound building whilst there's a Court case pending re the valuation and/or Rezoning of the site...it's just something else this new Council has inherited...

These things are all covered many times in previous posts and regular availees will have no trouble spotting the gaping holes and glaring errors in these 2 articles...I cannot for the life of me understand the comment that 'this isn't about changing people's habits, it's about changing their behaviour'...(they're the same thing aren't they? habits/behaviours?...just ridiculous-Ed)...the whole thing is ridiculous mate, from it's inception to it's conception to it's initial demise and current costly resurrection, the whole thing is bollocks...hows about investing in some better Public Transport instead of wasting $1,000s on this nonsense?...

To close I'd make the observation entirely sans humour that police in the USofA have learned to avoid the thorny issue of Black deaths in custody, still such a problem with law enforcement in Australia, avoid this by engaging in a strategy of shooting or otherwise killing African-Americans before they're even under arrest...the recent separate shooting and choking deaths of 2 unarmed Black men and subsequent Grand Jury exoneration of the officers involved, seem to indicate that this is the officially sanctioned strategy for dealing with this strata of society...

And in a further rather spooky coincidence, there's a report just now on the ABC about 3 'police casualty' shooting deaths in 3 weeks in Queensland as part of an increasing trend of police shootings...and the constant inference that this is a choice made before other options were tried, eg, pepper spray and/or tazers, and usually involve people with Mental Health issues...apparently our rate of police shooting deaths is approx 4x that of the United Kingdom...and as you look back at it over the years, it's clear that this is not a new problem in Oz though...

Post 650 - Hear Me Say 'Dear Me, The Media In SA'

Hello South Africa, Venezuela, Canada, and Slovenia and welcome to the blog and another post reflecting the week in my reality as it hopefully relates to others...(whaaa?-Ed)...well I know I bang on 'bout myself a fair bit, but it's usually because I find myself on and/or in publicly relevant issues, eg, the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up, how Mt Gambier City Council attacks and vilifies people whom dare to question the least little thing and/or Council's apparently rank corruption, etc, etc...

***Apologies for missing a post yesterday...(again? I thought you'd got your arse back on the horse and were collectively moving forward and all that?-Ed)...yes, well, it appears that my optimism and enthusiasm have been doggedly run-down from behind by the the more pressing reality of depression, Agoraphobia, isolation and loneliness...spent a good deal of this weekend dozing on the couch and/or wandering distractedly around the garden feeling sorry for myself slightly more than I'm concerned for my society/community...(well at least you have your Housing Trust 'home' and that beautiful garden, that's something-Ed)...yes it is, it's fantastic, but some days it feels like the 'golden cage' thingy...***

Black Dog: is a popular metaphor/descriptor/symbol for Depressive States and although I find the language itself somewhat problematic, it does paint a relevant mind-picture of what it can feel like...I was somewhat surprised though when said descriptor manifested itself in my backyard on Tuesday morning last week...my dog almost never barks, the best he manages is working himself excitedly up to a sudden 'yarp', so when there were some deep barks in the garden, I thought he'd bailed up a snake or lizard or something...turns out it was a large black boisterous dog that wouldn't come near me...

Eventually got him out the side gate but 5 minutes later he was back at the backdoor, somehow getting over the 5foot high galvanised iron fencing...later I found a big hole under the side-fence, but I reckon that's how he got back out the second time...my dog just stood next to me watching this other mad hound tear around the garden...don't know where it came from or where it eventually went to...

And it's usually the case that I'm just standin' 'ere mindin' ma' own business when along comes some sassy young situation or some crusty ol' conundrum...(or some chunkily current child abuse cover-up, for example-Ed)...well exactly Ed, well put...it's exactly like just tryin' to live ya' life in a small town when ya' suddenly dumped into the very confected role of sinister troublemaker and duly Parahiatised and villified, and dumped there by the very crooks cookin' the books and/or touchin' up the kiddies...(how poetically abusive-Ed)...and this time of year I know that I can't go very far before having the reality of the rank corruption that defines my reality of Mt Gambier jammed in my face, rammed down my throat, pissed profusely into my ear...

Think I'm over-reacting?...(well now that you've mentioned it...-Ed)...fair enough, but please scroll to the end of this post and discover the joy that is my average day down this way 'round about this time a' year...(ok, wait a second.....ummm, the Lutherans, yeah...free Community lunch for the homeless and lonely, ok...at the Town Hall/Main Corner, mmm right...supported by Council and the Anglicans, yes, well...the Lutherans doing Christmas Day lunch at The Main Corner, financed to some degree by Council which means Ratepayers-Ed)...exactly...even take the shreckin' Lutherans outta' that equation and minus any other Council support, and it's still the Ratepayer subsidised Main Corner facility which means the Ratepayer subsidised Leasees/caterers, etc, etc...

For all I know there's a whole bunch of people here-in involved whom are absolutely genuine and are donating their time/money/turkeys/whatevs, and don't have the faintest idea about the corruption underlying the whole Town Hall/Main Corner set-up...(soon to be massively complicated by the Jazz University goin' there-Ed)...well, indeed...or the St Martins corruption stuff, and as how that relates to the local media constantly promoting the Lutherans but refusing to address the St Martins stuff, instead turning on me and other parents, etc, etc...(come on, take that next step-Ed)...alright, alright, I know as fact that the vast majority of people involved in this have no idea about the above and relatively genuine motive, be it Christian charity, whatevs...(there's a good boy-Ed)...but it still ain't nuthin' but a Thang...(fair enough-Ed)...

I know that come December I can't even listen to the ABC Local Radio or open The Border Watch without having some massive slab a' pro-Lutheran bullshit waved in my face...and that super-sized slice of bullshit pie is usually plated up with a generous side-serve of Rory McEwen utilising his mates at the entirely corrupted Mt Gambier ABC Local Radio to yet again spew his special brand of pro-paedophile corruption and rank hypocrisy at the Universe, eg, his involvement in the weekend's Toy Run...(go big fella'-Ed)...and it's this fundamental corruption within the local media that allows for disgraceful cover-ups like the St Martins Lutheran School Case...

The St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up has been possible because of the media's complicit and corrupt support for the Cover-up (here and in Adelaide and even interstate, eg, the ABC Sydney) and it's main local players, eg, Rory McEwen, Steve Perryman, the Lutherans and St Martins School, SAPol, etc, support particularly evident at the ABC where some people are clearly employed because of their allegiance to this sickening agenda, as one individual mockingly, tauntingly flung in my face when 'recently' appointed to the ABC Mt Gambier...for all of the complete bastards I may be the problem here is clearly St Martins, the Lutherans, the ABC, et al, this time the problem isn't me...

Try as I might to get past this 'angry chair' stuff it just ain't happenin' in that just trying to just listen to the radio, read the papers, watch telly news, etc, it's like climbing into a boxing ring knowing full well that you can't even raise your hands to defend yourself, let alone strike-out, and that all you can do is step to the centre of the ring knowing you're going to stand there and cop a beating and then be villified for that as well, and then get up again when ya' can and take another hammering...day in, day out, over and over...this ad was in The Border Watch Tuesday 2nd December 2014, and on Thursday 4th December 2014 there was a long ABC Radio interview with  a senior Lutheran Mrs/Ms?Whatevs (somethin'?) Pettingill...

Ms Pettingill stated that God wanted the Lutherans to put on a Thursday night soiree at their church in Edward St, "sharing God's gift", starting that night and then this week and next, leading up to Xmas...it was all about what God apparently wants the Lutherans to do for others...(yay-Ed)...indeed, and then it went onto the Christmas Day lunch stuff, and sure-as Ms Pettingill'll be there doin' somethin'...and all neatly rounded out with some sanctimonious bollocks from the interviewer about how she/they/whoevs is 'happily giving up there Xmas Day for the community...(orr, god bless the Lutherans-Ed)...

My ANZAC Spirit: has clearly been well established in me by the experiences I've shared via my grandfathers, both iconic WWII veterans - iconic in that one was an AIF 'Desert Rat' who served in Tobruk, etc, and the other was a senior RAF fighter pilot who flew in the Battle of France, pre-Battle of Britain, the Pacific Theatre with the USofA, etc, etc - but there's also a strong argument to be made for the fact that I've been as successfully indoctrinated as anyone else with this bullshit notion of emotive devotion where-in real men sacrifice themselves for their nation, for their people, for their community...

(Where you goin' with this?-Ed)...just addressin' some a' that feedback stuff about 'why would you do this, particularly given that it's clearly quite distressing for you on occasions?'...firstly, I greatly appreciate that people do genuinely give a damn, and as rampant as the statistic numbers can be there's clearly a small number of people who have stuck with the blog across the last month...it's gotta' be said that I myself am a little disappointed with the recent quality of the blog, let alone the intermittentness, and I can only promise that I continue in my commitment to this 'ere blog and the general concept of addressing these sortta' issues appropriately...

However, it's often a confronting experience in that I don't have to go trawling the Interweb for bizarre conspiracy theories about paedophile corruption and cover-ups in South Australia because I'm living one, and I don't need to hear other peoples stories about surviving Cancer, etc, and right this moment there's an item re the Yoga Ashram case that the Federal Child Abuse Royal Commission is currently looking at...and yes it is terrible stuff, but my reality is that this was then and St Martins is right now, current and comprehensive in it's exposure of the related rank corruption...why not come to Mt Gambier and look at a current Child Abuse Cover-up that undeniably involves the current Sow Strayn Premier Jay Weatherill?...(another self-answering question-Ed)...

Tomorrow: Tidying Up Some Of Many Loose Ends

(Well good luck with that-Ed)...indeed, but I'll keep tryin' and we'll see how we go...

I am Nick Fletcher and this is my blog...cheers and laters...

A Blog Day Afternoon

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, and/or goodnight Macedonia (FYROM), Hong Kong, Venezuela, and Lithuania, the USofA, Russia, Germany, France, the UK, Ukraine, China, Poland, Turkey, Moldova, Singapore, Costa Rica, et al...and welcome one and all to the blog...apologise for missing post yesterday, but I had a very, very long day yesterday, including mucho time consumed trawling through old grounds for/with someone whom had requested a detailed explanation of what had happened re the often featured St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up from 2002 after reading about it on this 'ere blog...(makes for a very long day-Ed)...indeed, didn't sleep too well last night, sorry, this morning...I don't apologise for being literally dazed today by yesterday, it was tough going...

And this after a morning (yesterday) of airwaves laden with that pro-paedophile champ, our former local state Member Rory McEwen promoting the Ulysses Motorcycle Club Toy Run to be held today...and that following on from multiple references this week to how fantastic the Lutherans are, stuff I'll have to do a separate post for this arvo...one of the critical players in the St Martins Cover-up, it's always a delight to hear/see/whatevs Rory has to say, but it's particularly gratifying to hear him on the ABC Local Radio yet again bangin' on with such unblinking hypocrisy as he and his mates Stan Thompson and/or Stuart Stansfield discuss Rory's great work with/for the kiddies...2 months ago(?) it was the Ryder-Cheshire Foundation, and this week it's the Toy Run...

There's only so much anger that a man can bear before it bears him...that is, a man can only in so many ways carry only so much before it turns on him and carries him away, and so, if these people like Ulysses and Ryder-Cheshire are happy to have this stinkin' pro-paedophile shreck-pig Rory McEwen as their front man then they can and must expect that angry men will send themselves to stroll amongst you with respect and control but vengeance at heart, and with their role to play to drag kicking and screaming into the cold hard light of day the sickening reality of what Rory has done...

(So you're going along then? I had wondered if you were going to go and say howdy to your bestie Rory...I know that you struggle with doing anything deliberately confrontational, even with Rory, particularly in such an inappropriate context as a Toy Run, but I get your point that he should be confronted re his screeching hypocrisy and history of corruptly protecting paedophiles...personally, I find it hard to believe, given the length and breadth of his pro-paedophile corruption, that Rory isn't a paedophile himself-Ed)...you and everyone else reading the blog...but thankyou for talking me down off the ledge Ed by politely reminding me that there is a time and a place and the middle of a Toy Run just ain't it...

But here-in lies the crux, the crucible, the Creator of all that's so desperately wrong with South Australia and in particular Mt Gambier...here-in lies a definitive study in how paedophiles run our society...despite what he has done, the betrayal of children and parents at St Martins and the ultimate betrayal of all kids and families across the state by cementing the control of other pro-paedophile vested interests, Rory is happy to promote himself via his mates at an entirely corrupted ABC Radio, an ABC whom themselves are intimately aware of the reality of Rory's corruption and criminality...

And not one word about the reality that they are all complicit in, covering-up the gross abuse of a class of 7 year old children at St Martins Lutheran School, Mt Gambier...

Just Farcical: that in the Fisher By-election (to replace deceased Member Bob Such) Labor are yet again running a Labor-stooge candidate as an 'Independent'...and that vacuous Labor stooge and serial apologist alleged Professor Clem McIntyre and The Advertiser et al are pouring credibility into this clown's campaign and paying brief if any lip-service to the reality of his history...check it for yourselves, he's come from the Crown Solicitor, that bastion of institutionalised corruption in Sow Straya, was a former Labor member and staffer, etc...100% Rolled Gold Labor Stooge...Independent my left plum...

And I'm The Crazy One: In the middle of the largest Pine Plantation in the Southern Planetsphere section of the arse end of Nowheresville...(wow-Ed)...outta' my way...(hey, come on, don't blog angry now-Ed)...sorry, fair enough...but in the middle of a massive but shrinking due to the clear-felling of the South East Forestry Estate by 141Plantations for export via Portland forest of Pine Trees...breath, breath...in the middle of that and during a global financial meltdown and savaging of state and/or Federal funding for Council's, Mt Gambier City Council have gone to Melbourne to buy a fake 6m high Christmas tree and placed it right outside the Main Corner...(dare I ask?-Ed)...$20,000...(sweet baby cheeses...good thing it's only Ratepayer's money-Ed)...well exactly...

With everything going on, it's $20,000 for a freakin' fake Xmas tree, and bought from Melbourne...(and I was just reading in TBW where Council's Denise Richardson reckons this is just the start of purchasing many new decorations, etc, for Council to tart-up the town-Ed)...omg...(oh indeed-Ed)...

Further apologies that it's a bittuva' 'cut and paste' post anyway, but I don't know how else to cover this stuff thoroughly without doing so...thank me for not attaching all of the pro Council and/or pro-The Border Watch crap that was pouring through TBW leading up to the November 2014 Local Government Elections...in one TBW there was 6-7 pages of how great Council is and what great work they do, etc...(I noticed that that 'feature' didn't feature the senior department heads or Councillors themselves, but had the mid-upper level bureaucrats (no offense intended)-Ed)...indeed...and a bunch of stuff self-praising about how great TBW's own 'Cadet Journalists' are because they have the guidance, wisdom, and mighty penmanship of Graham Greenwood to guide and inspire them...

Anyhoos, please find attached 2 articles and then I'll come back to them in a dot-point synopsis post later today, effectively one very long post across the whole day...cheers...

Laters: What I Just Said, Don't You Listen?

(Don't start with me champ-Ed)...alright, alright, cool ya' jets, just jokin', sorry, tryin' to take the edge off a rather angry post...(fair enough, not a lotta' humour in any a' that today, but that's not your fault-Ed)...ta...

I am Nick Fletcher and this is my blog...cheers and laters...

By Hook And By Crook

Hello United Kingdom, Germany, Aotearoa (New Zealand), and Canada and welcome to the blog...and howdy to ex-availees Turkey, Moldova, and anywheres else that I haven't picked-up that what's been chopped off the blog somehow...having some more weird shizzle happen with the blog, namely 40-50 most recent posts 'Google un-sharing' themselves...(themselves?-Ed)...well I'm not doin' it...(yeah, but the posts can't do it themselves either, someone must be doing it-Ed)...interesting point...

Well I don't reckon it's Google because they would just remove the posts as per the 10 thus far, so are you suggesting, given that only the blogger themselves can 'un-share' via this 'ere 'source computer', that someone is going onto the blog somehow and changing stuff? again?...(don't know, but it seems like it...does anyone have your passwords, etc?-Ed)...well SAPol have my laptop what they done seize back in May 2014 when they raided my home, repeatedly telling me "expect to be charged" for talking about Club GoGo Bananas and/or the Banana Lord...a ludicrous pseudo-charge left hangin' now for more than 6 months, and that directs me to probably have to avoid even naming the specific state Authority, hence the ludicrous pseudonym 'Banana Lord' stuff...

(Outrageously ludicrous...and didn't they say 'we don't need your password, we'll just hack it real easy', but you did give them your password anyways?-Ed)...yeah, but I changed it since...(yeah, but they could easily hack that, and using your own laptop, make the 'blog' itself think it's you and offer no resistance what-so-evs-Ed)...yeah, I was thinking that myself, and there's sometimes a 'there's another computer signed onto this network' notice thingy comes up when I sign-on...but even if that's the case, why are the 'availee viewing statistics' going up and down so wildly and sometimes backwards as well?...(no idea-Ed)...anyhoos...

Done Goin' Fishin': for triggers to fire-up this 'ere blog, but these days they're just jumpin' into the boat...(whaaa?-Ed)...well, researching the blog by manically monitoring media, etc, could be seen as effectively going looking (fishing) for things that suit and/or drive the dialogue that I'm producing here on this 'ere blog...it can be a fine line between research and justification, enlightenment or ideology...(dah I get it...ya' gotta' be careful to not gather, garner and ultimately regurgitate info because it supports what you feel/think/whatevs-Ed)...exactly...but the reality remains that just by doin' this 'ere blog, that multiple fishy issues are just scramblin' over the gunnals to get onto this li'l ship of fool...

So instead of scrambling about in the muddy shallows furiously guddling my way through life, I'm trying to kick-it back a wee bit on the grassy bank under the soothing shade of a convenient Coolabah...(once a jolly StuffPig guddled by a billabong-Ed)...stop that, stop that right now...(sorry-Ed)...I should think so...point being that that's a sortta' very long-winded apology, but in trying to sort out the paperwork stroll-through that has become my home, I'm constantly confronted by a bunch of stuff already covered on the blog, and at the same time stuff pouring outta' the media...

Ain't no-one here too proud...(don't look at me-Ed)...to say that I've slumped pretty much after the stress of the Mayoral shenanigans, heaped as it was onto the other stressors I already had airborne...and yesterday was a bad day and I just didn't want to be doing this blog stuff...and along comes today and away we go and that's the way it goes for me...basically I'm asking y'all ta' please cut me some slack thanks because I am trying to get this shizzle moving forward, and I don't have days off so much as days down...(neatly put sir-Ed)...ta...

For example, just the other evening I was sorting through The Border Watch articles, bills, etc, and of course the piles of St Martins Cover-up stuff...(yay-Ed)...indeed, and had the ABC Radio on when I wouldn't normally be listening, and thusly the distinct privilege of running into a gushing interview with former head of the Sow Strayn Dept of Planning, Transport, and Infrastructure Rod Hook...(oh gourd-Ed)...yes, quite...(wasn't he responsible for the bloody trams all up North Tce?-Ed)...yep, that's him...(and the Adelaide Oval?-Ed)...amongst a whole bunch of other things, oddly enough all in Adelaide, didn't hear Regional SA even mentioned...

(What? not even after you rang and asked them to acknowledge the financial disaster that selling the South East Forestry Estate was, and gave them the broad numbers, eg, immediate loss of $400million by under-selling at $670M, the loss of approx $110m annually as income from the SEFE, the monies needed to replace the wages and costs of Forstry SA , fire-fighting, etc, that came outta' that $110m, etc, etc?-Ed)...nope, not a word...(bloody typical-Ed)...

And Rod was lavish in praise of himself and his great mate former Labor Minister 'Part-time' Pat Conlon...(he whom went into political semi-retirement, returning to work (2012?) as a lawyer/consultant/whatevs whilst still an elected Member of SA Parliament?-Ed)...that be he...(and whom former Mt Gambier Member Rory McEwen stated to you was 'Terry' the paedophile politician at the centre of the Speaker Sacking Saga in 2005?-Ed)...well remembered Ed...it was 10+ minutes of isn't everything great and how great am I and even stating 'I don't know where they (Labor) got the money from for the Oval or got everyone to agree to it, but they did and it was great'...which is why I rang...

And on it all goes, eg, 1) The Federal Child Abuse Royal Commission has gone to a Yoga retreat/cult/ashram/whatevs in New South Wales to investigate terrible abuses from the 1980s and the perpetrator died 15 years ago, but the CARC ain't coming to Mt Gambier to look at the current and ongoing cover-up of Child Abuse at St Martins Lutheran School...which was followed shortly after by 2) a report re the gross abuses committed by Maurice Van Ryn, former head of Bega Cheese (NSW) in a case with sickening similarities to the Mt Gambier/St Martins case, where it appears senior members of the community have been protecting and supporting him...(committed another assault/rape whilst out on bail and then received bail again...wow-Ed)...

Keep Sayin' Cheese: people 'cos 1) apparently Asia and in particular China is super keen to get their laughin' gear wrapped around some rolled gold Aussie protein, and the latest Free Trade Agreement with China will ensure plenty of our dairy headed that whey, I mean way...(nice-Ed)...and 2) it's apparently far more nutritionally functional to eat Fermented Bovine Lactose Extract than drink it...(whaaa?-Ed)...BLE is simply milk, and FBLE fermented milk products, eg, cheese and yoghurt...(fascinating-Ed)...indeed...it's claimed that the fermenting process changes the proteins or whatevs in ways that make them far easier for the body to absord and utilise for bones, etc, than just plain milk...

And 3) it's smiles all 'round as European Union leaders strike an agreement to lower emissions from coal-fired power stations, etc, largely off the back of the deal announced between the USofA and China just prior to the OMG20...an agreement which is 4) binding...(shall I put a 'taboomtish' here to indicate that last bit was a joke about the constipational occupational hazard of consuming excessive cheesiness?-Ed)...probably best...

Higher Education Fails: to get the nod in Federal Parliament, well at least the 'privatisation' of Ozzie universities has failed to pass, but that hasn't stopped Minister Christopher Pyne from stating that it will happen inevitably because it's just like so important...and there's my mate Treasurer Joe Hockey stating that it's other people's fault that they won't talk to him about ongoing Budget issues...(oh boy-Ed)...nah, come on, 'Smokin' Joe invited all them Cross-benchers and other jolly japesters to come on down to his office and agree with him...

(Well exactly, sarcastically well said... it's pretty trite to state repeatedly, as Joe has, that he'll never give-up on any aspect of this Budget, never surrender, etc, and then say that he's happy to negotiate with intelligent people so long as they agree completely with him, etc, directly inferring that if you disagree in any way then you're an idiot, and then turn around and blame others for not wanting to talk to him-Ed)...exactly ya'self...

(Furthermore, these 2 main issues, the $7 GP Co-payment and Uni privatisation, were not even mentioned going into the September 2013 Federal Election, and the Liberals have broken so many promises since that no-one believes what they say now anyhoos...no-one believes you Joey mate-Ed)...he can't hear you...(can't, or won't?-Ed)...and speaking of political jokes, look out, here comes the South East Cabinet, whatta' shreckin' joke...supposedly, Sow Strayn Parliament will do 3 more 'Country Cabinet' sessions in 2015, and Mt Gambier just might be on the list...might be...(here? really? how exciting, be still my pounding heart-Ed)...settle down...

Hooray: news that the latest $2m, 24 bed 4 modular accommodation unit (like in mining camps) expansion at the Mt Gambier Gaol is nearly ready, bringing the gaol's capacity to 333 inmates, with 8 surge beds...and the latestish  84 bed expansion is nearly complete, following the 108 bed expansion in August 2013...and further great news that 'there will now be proper consideration given as to how best to deal with the surging inmate numbers' off the back of Labor's ludicrous Rack 'Em, Stack 'Em policy...(hang on, if they've just tripled the size of the Mt Gambier Gaol in the last 18 months, and that's happened before they've properly considered an ongoing problem, how many further expansions for the gaol here?-Ed)...be grateful for the jobs mate...(shreck me-Ed)...

Also On The News: this morn that the first solar panels of $73,000 worth are being installed on the roof of the library, supposedly to provide 1/4 of the library's energy needs, saving 18% per annum on costs...(but wasn't the Tender for 80kws?-Ed)...yeah, it looks like some people got one Tender and others another...(again?! wasn't that the ludicrous solar lights around the Blue Lake thing?-Ed)...yeah, both, that was one company allowed to submit 2 Tenders and Council tried to accept the lower and then 'negotiate' afterwards toward the higher...(wow, how dodgy is that-Ed)...just another raft of dodgy Tenders from a dodgy Council that seems not so much bureaucratically incompetent as allergic to appropriate process...

Tomorrow: Release The Frackin'

The sordid tale of a mighty drooling beast of corruption, filth, and dis-ease looming over a poor rural community...the horror...

I am Nick Fletcher and this is my blog...cheers and laters...
