Howdy y'all to a quick post to just cover a coupla' points, most specifically this first issue that I saw as I was finishing the last post but felt deserved a bit all to itself...(plus there was quite a lot of stuff attached to that last post-Ed)...indeed...(plus it's another chance to use one of a dozen similarly appalling 'Troy Bell - Trouble' puns-Ed)...you got me...so many songs with 'Trouble' in the title, so little time...if y'all haven't read that post, please do so and this next bit will make a lot more sense...

But first, nothing makes me laugh harder than the inimitably hypocritical whingings of various South Australian Labor stooges, be it on Twitter or Facebook or in The Advertiser...and one of my favs is me ol' china* Tommy boy...(*slang term: china plate = mate)...

...how many Police Ministers did the Rann/Weatherill Labor government lose directly related to Paedophilia?...two, that is, Patrick 'Terry' Conlon and Bernard Finnigan...and I remind dear availees and The Googles, etc, that it was the rancidly corrupt alleged Independent but-actually Labor stooge 'Minister' Rory McEwen who identified to myself and other parents that Patrick Conlon was the notorious paedophile 'Terry', as identified by/during the Mullighan Child Abuse Inquiry...(the Mullighan Inquiry that saw his/it's Final Report officially buried for 80 years, and no wonder considering the number of SA Premiers, serving and former politicians, senior police and public servants, etc, that were/are identified in that 'Report'-Ed)...well indeed...and let's look at how many times the rancidly corrupt ICAC Bruce 'Brews Slander' Lander has protected the rankly corrupt Labor Party...(well your definably Pro-Paedophile Political Persecution aside, there's the Gillman Land Sale Cover-up, specifically involving our mate Koutso here, and the extraordinary Oakden Nursing Home Cover-up, and the multiple issues of Child Abuse Cover-ups in the Education Dept, etc-Ed)...and as we're covering again today, the intimately complicit actions of Bruce maaate in the crassly obvious political intent and timing of the "frm Lib MP facing corruption charges"...    

And then there's all the stuff with Kevin Foley and Michael Atkinson's 'secret accounts', etc, etc...it's Fascist Media 101 as currently practised on an hourly timetable by the rancidly corrupt and incompetent Scott 'Scummo' Morrison LNP Federal government...criticise and abuse someone for allegedly doing that which you yourself are actually guilty of, and keep on doing it...(and where Scummo & Co are concerned, do so with the unwavering support of the rabidly Right Wing Murdochracy and equally complicit Main Stream Media, the ABC, etc-Ed)...and eventually it becomes real, it becomes a 'Truth' because the lies are not identified let-alone questioned...  

So anyhoos, I had some feedback, including a 'Comment' on this 'ere blog, that Mt Gambier City Councillor Penny Richardson's original complaint about Troy Bell was something about a 'Conflict of Interest'...(fair call-Ed)...sure, but if that is actually true, as reported, what was the supposed 'CoI'?...(your point?-Ed)...well I struggle to believe anything that's published in the Main Stream Media, particularly the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation), and not just because of       extreme 'Right Wing' bias and various other agendas at play, eg, the massively biased and deliberately skewed 'Anti Nick Fletcher' manner in which the ABC South East Radio reported my "bizarre trial"...(well that's fair enough-Ed)...and beyond that is the randomly unprofessional haphazard proof-reading and misreporting and misprinting, etc, that is a feature of modern 'journalism'...(also true, careless albeit genuine mistakes perhaps, it's still a real problem with establishing the 'Truth'-Ed)...and in circumstances like this, not only do ya' need to know the specific political bent of the 'reporter' and/or the source, but have some sort of inside line on what actually happened, etc...so for the purposes of this post, we're just gunna' have to take that reportage at face value...

So, what was the 'CoI'? it isn't identified...to me though, it's fairly irrelevant, 'cos more importantly is the timing of the 'complaint', being as is reported, the day after the 2014 State Election...(yeah, that is a bit odd-Ed)...but even more critically, why did that original 'complaint', whatever it was, and which supposedly triggered the relevant Independent Commission Against Corruption, why did it then take until August 2017 for the ICAC and/or SAPol (police) to charge Troy?...(yeah, that's a hell of a long-winded 'investigation', what's that, 3 years and 5 months?-Ed)...yep...(but I thought we'd already established that the timing was purely political, done deliberately to discredit and/or harass and/or embarrass Troy, the incumbent Liberal candidate for the upcoming March 2018 State Election-Ed)...absolutely it was, and as we've posted previously but forgot to re-cover in the last post, mate, what does it say about what Mt Gambier voters think of the ICAC/SAPol when Troy was under that pressure and criticism, etc, but after quitting the Liberal party was still re-elected as an Independent, albeit one with a still-definable Liberal leaning...

It's all blatantly politically motivated, but as put to me, perhaps I've half-missed the mark about the genuine motivation...without going into it so much as to 'expose my source', someone with the inside running, that is, with extensive personal involvement, has put it to me that they agree that the timing was all about rooting things right up for Troy going into the March 2018 State Election, but that the primary political motivation for wanting to do that was Troy's support for the Anti-Fracking Activists here in the South East, and his subsequent campaigning against Fracking...(riiight, I can see that, 'cos the Rann/Weatherill Labor government were/are notorious for their definably corrupt support of Beach Energy, eg, $$$millions in Exploration Grants, No Royalties, etc-Ed)...and of course Beach Energy's rather profitable involvement in the Glenside Mental Health Facility site dismantling and 'privatisation', again with the Rann government involved...(and the Liberals/Nationals themselves are unashamedly Minerals Resource Industry supporters-Ed)...and the MRI in return 'support' the LNP via massive 'donations', etc...(exactly, so's I'm guessing that Troy didn't make any friends in that regard either-Ed)...absolutely, and particularly with the ludicrously corrupt 'No Royalties' clause, plenty of people involved stood/stand to 'lose' plenty of money...

Now I've been to a coupla' Anti-Fracking demos and am fully supportive of that position, Fracking is a lunatic Environmental Disaster just looking for somewhere to go horribly wrong, and it has been proven to do exactly that in many circumstances, eg, groundwater contamination that leads to 'flaming tap water', etc, and seismological consequences of massively increased seismic activity due to the 'fracturing', etc, etc, etc...it's an absolute no-brainer that forcing tonnes of toxic chemicals into the ground is gunna' have a hugely detrimental effect, and particularly here in the South East where there are two main and massive Aquifers, the Tertiary Limestone Aquifer, and the Tertiary Confined Sand Aquifer, and numerous minor Aquifers...because of their isolation and structures there is relatively minor pollution of these Aquifers, but hey, let's drill multiple holes through it and pump it chock full a' toxic crap...and I don't wanna' hear any bollocks about how this 'Fracking' occurs kilometres down so there's no chances of contamination, etc, that's absolute rot, not least of all because those shafts have to go through the Aquifers to get to the 'gas', and the chemicals can and do leach upwards, etc, etc...

It's also been put to me that the preferred/potential Liberal candidate replacing the now Independent Troy Bell at the 2018 State Election was dumped because of that person's extensive Anti-fracking activism...I cannot comment further on this other than to say that my limited knowledge of the situation, and my 'sources', allows me to accept and support this position as being possible and plausible and even likely...

But today's main point is one I left out of the previous post because it's a whole other plain of fundamental incompetence, corruption, and insightful indicativeness as to the wholly Political Persecution aspect of what Troy is being subjected to...(and it again parallels your "bizarre trial" and the extraordinary official capacity to just ignore inconvenient truths and trample appropriate process, etc-Ed)...indeed it does mate, and I refer of course dear availees to the legislative changes of the ICAC Miscellaneous Amendment Act 2014 that were made specifically in response to my Legal Eaglee enquiries about the farcically incomprehensible ICAC Act 2012 Section 56, etc, a definable collusion between ICAC Comm Bruce maaate and then Labor Attorney-General li'l Johnny Rau...(not to mention the rancidly corrupt conduct of SAPol (police) Prosecutions in prosecuting you after those changes and without officially 'Charging' or even 'Summonsing' you, and then lying in Court and trying to change the 'Charges' mid-trial, etc, etc-Ed)...yep, all that extraordinary bastardisation of appropriate process that saw Her Honour Teresa Anderson withdraw, officially citing "Abuse of Process" in the official Certificate of Record, having also previously used the term "Malicious Prosecution" in Court...(and of course her replacement Magistrate Ian White's definably complicit and corrupt conduct itself formed a part of that ongoing "Malicious Prosecution" post November 2016 when Her Honour withdrew/excused herself-Ed)...indeed it did...

But before that, my mate Bruce Lander was the 'original complainant' about me , supposedly personally contacting SAPol's Anti-Corruption Branch, leading to my very own personal 'Operation Baritone', etc, (all mid-February 2014), but when SAPol ACB raided my home on 7th/8th May 2014 they stated that they were 'just here to collect evidence for the DPP (Director of Public Prosecutions)'...(so who do you believe?-Ed)...well none of them, they've all proven themselves to be consummate lairs and deeply corrupt...but heaven forbid it should end there...

As explained by Her Honour Anderson, SAPol Prosecutions made a complete shambles of my 'Charge Sheet', eg, using 'blog dates' as 'Breaches' rather than correctly identifying individual alleged 'Breaches', and therefore also citing specifically that something was a 'Breach' on one date, but the exact same 'Breach' was not identified as a 'Breach' on a different date only days later...(wow-Ed)...and SAPol Prosecutions was also still trying to get me to 'confess' to producing/writing this 'ere blog years into the 'Trial'...I caught-out SAPol Prosecutions directly and deliberately lying about when I was supposedly 'Charged' (December 2014), in Court, right in front of Ian White, and he actually verified/defined that lie by pointing out the actual supposed date was 7th January 2015, but then he just waved it all away as irrelevant...(wow-Ed)...and of course, Ian White's ultimate collusion/corruption was to try and ignore those ICAC Act MAA 2014 changes when he 'Convicted' me, even when I was questioning/confronting him about those changes during his 'bizarre' handling of the 3 'Verdict Hearings' February - April 2018, until he was 'outed' by The Border Watch (just after that first 'hearing'), when he suddenly acknowledged that I had been 'prosecuted under the wrong definition', and then he again just waved all that away as irrelevant and convicted me anyways...(well isn't that just super-Ed)...so having experienced all that myself I was shocked but hardly surprised to see this...

...and I'll let y'all go read that from the ABC website, but it says everything about the rankly political nature of this prosecution, and the grossly inappropriate influence of the ICAC...(and even when it's apparently being admitted that these involvements/contacts were "mistakes", that's all just fine-Ed)...yep, and add to that the extraordinary 'tapping' of Troy's phone/s such that his legally privileged conversations with his lawyers were not only recorded but are now being used against him like some sort of pseudo-defamation and/or Contempt of Court co-prosecution...(and were-in he's not even allowed to see the 5000 pages of supposed evidence against him-Ed)...it's well-beyond being an absolute joke, there's nuthin' funny about this, it's absolutely rotten to the core, and an absolute travesty of the application of 'Justice'...

Regardless of your personal opinion of Troy Bell and/or his conduct and/or guilt, etc, put yourself in that man's shoes and ask ya'self whether you'd like to be screwed-over like this, indeed, if anyone deserves to be screwed-over like this...(which puts me in mind of the recent programming about the bizarre Bradley Murdoch 'Conviction' for the supposed murder of Peter Falconio-Ed)...indeed, and what concerned me was the large number of problematic issues that weren't covered and/or resolved by that 'exclusive expose', issues covered in a major ABC/BBC Radio article over a decade ago, eg, the lack of evidence uncovered by Aboriginal 'trackers' at the alleged scene of the supposed murder/abduction, eg, no footprints or dog prints, or that Murdoch's ute reportedly didn't have a hatch between cab and tray and therefore it would not have been possible for Joanne Lees to be "forced" through that hatch as she described, etc, etc...and you'll guess from my language that I think there's a whole bunch of hugely problematic stuff happening here, and at the very least, Murdoch was absolutely screwed-over by an incompetent investigation and deeply biased 'Trail' process...

Nobody Knows The Troy Bells I've Seen

Howdy dear availees here in Mt Gambier in the sunny South East of South Australia, where it's Monday 20th July 2020, currently 12C/53F and drizzly, and our mate Troy Bell is still the Member for Mt Gambier in the SA Parliament (in the House of Assembly, the Lower House)...and welcome also to y'all elsewhere in places like Brazil, the USofA, India, and Russia...we in SA are very fortunate that our relative Social Privilege and widely dispersed population, etc, has initially spared us the terrible COVID19 issues currently ravaging your countries...(and there is a definable political impact on those situations as well, our local state politicians have done reasonably well, where-as, for example, people like Donald Trump and Jair Bolsinaro have denied and defied reality at a terrible cost to their countries' populace-Ed)...well indeed Ed, and I say "initially" because we are experiencing the beginning of a potential 'Second Wave' in Victoria and New South Wales, and NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian and our illustrious PM Scott 'Scummo' Morrison are committed to 'Suppression' not 'Elimination', which effectively guarantees a resurgence...(yeah sure, but the Economy is clearly far more important than people, mate-Ed)...your sarcasm is duly noted and thoroughly justified...

But on a quick and pleasant divergence re COVID19, I just this week found myself back on the Mt Gambier local bus service, due to a busted radiator in my li'l vehicular transportation, and was pleasantly surprised to find that 'they', being the private contractors who operate/provide the government-funded service, 'they' haven't been charging passengers for several months 'cos of the COVID19 crisis...kudos and hurrah to y'all involved in making this decision, 'cos it is inevitably the poor, the disadvantaged, the disenfranchised, young mums with toddlers in tow, the unemployed, the elderly, Disability Support recipients like myself, etc, etc, et al, who rely on this service...regular availees know that I have often written about the very limited bus services available in Mt Gambier, ie, running only 0900hrs to 1700hrs, with no service on weekends or public holidays, and that I place responsibility for that firmly at the feet of the State Government and their inappropriately low funding...ironically, today's 2 main post issues collide 'cos Troy Bell just recently raised the issue of bus funding in Parliament, quite correctly identifying that, quote;
     “You need to be a car owner in regional South Australia because, if you rely on public
       transport, you simply will not get where you need to go."

As regular availees will recall, Troy was originally the Liberal Member, but was dumped or resigned from the Party, whatevs, not long after he was charged (August 2017) for alleged acts of Corruption, after an alleged Independent Commissioner Against Corruption alleged investigation...(that's a lot of 'allegeds'-Ed)...well the charges are currently still only 'allegations', and my personal experience of ICAC Bruce 'Brews Slander' Lander is that a supposed ICAC investigation can and will be very much 'allegedly', for example, ICAC's bizarre October 2013 'Un-Recorded Chat In A Cafe' investigation of Mt Gambier City Council...(ooo yeah, that was a doozy-Ed)...during my "bizarre trial" (The Border Watch) for daring to even speak about said alleged investigation, I proved in Court, via ICAC witnesses, that the entire ICAC investigation of the entire MGCC was a half hour un-recorded chat with me in Metro Cafe, with 6-8 people in clear earshot, and ICAC's un-recorded chat in an Adelaide Convention Centre hallway with then MGCC CEO Mark 'Mighty Marky Mark McShenanigans' McShane...(well quite, 2 un-recorded chats, no actual hearings, never even spoke to identified 'Corrupt' MGCC Councillors or staff, etc, etc, this is ICAC's alleged  investigation of multiple definable/defined issues of Gross Corruption, Insider Trading, and Nepotism in Mt Gambier City Council, it's a sick joke-Ed)...and the punchline is that Nick Fletcher ends-up with a Criminal Conviction for talking/blogging about it, hilarious I'm sure...  

But of course my definably corrupt "bizarre trial" wasn't just about me 'blogging' about the farcically corrupt ICAC...(or 'Insidious Commissioner Assisting Corruption' as we like to borrow and call it-Ed)...indeed, I was subjected to a definable Pro-Paedophile Political Persecution because of my extensive discourse/exposure/blogging of SA's Institutionalised Pro-Paedophile Corruption...and My Bestie And Also In His Spare Time ICAC Bruce was the original complainant against me, leading to my very own ICAC/SAPol (police) 'Operation Baritone', a 3year 'Trial', etc, etc...and so, given my experience of ICAC and how it is used politically to attack and punish people...(or to protect mates and dodgy Councils, etc-E)...indeed, protect mates and attack opponents, so given the definable corruption of my mate Bruce and his farcical ICAC, I have quite some sympathy for Troy Bell's position, regardless of what he has or hasn't done...(are you referring specifically to the very suspect timing of the alleged 'charges'?-Ed)...yeah, but not just that, the whole situation in it's entirety...

Everyone has an opinion and/or insider info about how they know Troy's done such-and-such, or this-that-and-the-other, and so-on-and-so-forth...some believe he's guilty as sin and others that it's a political set-up, and then there's the version that it's about relatively minor paperwork anomalies but not actual 'corruption', etc, etc...I again refer to my own personal experience of the Institutionalised Corruption of local government officials, State and Federal politicians, police, etc, but I don't have a specific position on this issue 'cos I just don't know...whatevs the reality, Mr Bell's trial proper has only recently begun, and he's calling for it to be 'Permanently Stayed' because of 2 main issues...firstly, he's arguing that it is a "Political Witch-hunt", very much paralleling my own Pro-Paedophile Political Persecution and related issues of "Abuse of Process" and "Malicious Prosecution"...(as you actually proved in Court in November 2016-Ed)...indeed I did Ed, and therefore I am subsequently fully open to that possibility...(and indeed have been ever since this kicked-off in August 2017-Ed)...absolutely, but equally, I don't just accept this as being the only 'truth' just because that's what happened to me...whilst there is clearly a politically-motivated aspect to these 'charges', eg, the timing, that doesn't automatically exclude the possibility that there are potential or genuine issues of 'Corruption'...

So whilst nothing would surprise me as to the veracity of the 'Charges', and how that relates to Troy's 'defence', etc, I will however call-out the use of the term "Witch-hunt" as being inappropriate, just call it what it is, a Political Persecution...(yeah, this is something I've seen discussed several times across Twitter-Ed)...as have I, and I duly understand and concur that "Witch-hunt" refers to a very specific and often very violent form of gender-specific abuse and structures of control and punishment and dis-empowerment of women, refers to issues of legislated misogyny, etc, and it is entirely inappropriate for a man to use this term...now I didn't even consider that until the correct context was presented to me via Twitter, so I'm not condemning Troy for using it, but I hope someone sees this and passes-on that context/info to him...

Troy's second point is about the supposed/alleged ongoing and therefore inappropriate involvement of our mate Bruce after the matter had gone to the Director of Public Prosecutions...this has a direct relation to my "bizarre trial" because although there was no Office of Public Integrity/ICAC investigation of my alleged 'Charges', Bruce mate was the initial complainant against me, personally referring me directly to SAPol's Anti-Corruption Branch, who then raided my home on 7th/8th May 2014, stating that they didn't know what the 'Charges' were about, instead stating;
     "We're just here to collect information (evidence) on behalf of the DPP." 
Despite this, I never heard the DPP mentioned ever again relative to my "bizarre trial", to my understanding it was handled by SAPol Prosecutions...also, it appears that Bruce was communicating with SAPol after his initial referral (mid-February 2014) and possibly even during my "bizarre trial" (February 2015 - April 2018)...

In researching this post I note that it is reported that Troy's defence team are also citing "gag orders" as compromising their ability to question witnesses, thusly...***

...welcome back, and wow...(wow indeed-Ed)...now I'm always extremely cautious when it comes to just accepting verbatim anything that the ABC reports, and regardless of what one thinks about Troy and/or his conduct, etc, the many issues identified/alleged here are absolutely outrageous...(mate, this cannot be right, surely?-Ed)...mate, unfortunately, when it comes to SA ICAC no level of corruption and impropriety would surprise me... 

So may questions here;

1) what is Bruce's ongoing involvement?...and is that appropriate?;

2) has the "Witch-hunt" claim from a conversation between Troy and his lawyer(s) really been recorded by the DPP?...how is this appropriate?...and why are the DPP using it against Troy?;

3) are there 'gags' and 'suppression' relative to alleged witnesses and/or evidence against Troy?...and if so, how is it appropriate to deny someone access to the alleged evidence against them?

I note with some amusement that it's reported that it was card-carrying Labor member and (then) serving MGCC Councillor Penny Richardson who shopped Troy to the ICAC, and that that 'report' happened the day after Troy was elected...(why the day after? exactly when did Penny become 'aware' of this alleged offending? did she 'know' beforehand, and if so, for how long?-Ed)...all great questions Ed, and further fabulous fuel for the Political Persecution conspiracy bonfire...I note with side-splitting, borderline-maniacal mirth that the unsuccessful Labor candidate in 2014 was Jim Maher, also a (then) serving MGCC Councillor...his wife Viv (deceased) was the Labor candidate against me in 2010, and their son Kyam is a current Labor Shadow-Minister...(but hang-on-Ed)...yeah?...(that says that Penny 'complained' on 17th March 2014, and Bruce started investigating from there-Ed)...yep...(well why then did it take then another 3 years and 5 months before Troy was actually 'charged' with anything?-Ed)...well that's a great question, and yet another aspect of the Political Persecution Conspiracy playbook...(ah yes, with the March 2018 State Election campaign just starting to get goin', what better time to try and discredit the incumbent and likely re-elected Troy baby-Ed)...like I said earlier, guilty or not, the timing is absolutely suss...

Also I furtherly note with unrelenting hilarity that Penny is identified as the original complainant, where-as in my "bizarre trial" I was actually convicted of exposing myself...(ooo, bishop-Ed)...of exposing myself as being the original 'Complainant'...(uh, well that's not funny, not funny at all-Ed)...no, no it's not...and also more furtherly, when I went to see the Legal Eagles at South East Community Legal Service aways back in May/June 2014, they initially albeit politely laughed at me when I asked, 'are you even allowed to talk to me because the ICAC Act 2012 Section 56 seems to indicate that you cannot?'...(yeah, laughed until they read that particularly bizarre Fascist piece of legislation-Ed)...indeed, and then felt obliged to write to my mate Bruce, twice, asking that exact question, 're Section 56, are we allowed to speak to him?'...and although I hadn't even been 'Charged' at that time...(and actually never were-Ed)...sure, but in July 2014 Bruce eventually responded with an official written 'Authorisation' to allow me to speak about my ICAC stuff with a lawyer, my family and/or friends, and my medical practitioner...not 'Charged' but still requiring official ICAC 'Authorisation' to speak with a lawyer...this relates back directly to the 2 issues of privileged phone calls being tapped/recorded and used against Troy, and the woefully bizarre with-holding of evidence...in researching this post I also found this on the ICAC website...***

Court allows jazz musician accused of raping student to join tour with James Morrison

A jazz musician charged with raping a fellow student of a prestigious music academy run by James Morrison had his bail adjusted so he could tour with the famous trumpeter in Melbourne.
American saxophonist Matthew Harkins, 26, is due to face trial in South Australia next year having pleaded not guilty to two counts of rape after he allegedly assaulted a woman while they both attended the James Morrison Academy in Mount Gambier.
Harkins, who is not allowed to leave South Australia, applied to the District Court for special permission to travel to Melbourne two weeks ago.
His application was successful and on October 19 he performed on stage with the academy’s orchestra and Morrison at the Jazz Lab in Brunswick.

His alleged victim now lives in Melbourne and was not informed by the police or court that Harkins would be travelling to Victoria.
A photo posted on social media by Morrison shows Harkins playing saxophone alongside him during the gig, which was recorded live with plans to release it as an album.
Harkins, originally from Maine in the United States, pleaded not guilty to the charges at an arraignment hearing in Mount Gambier on October 15.
On the same day, he signed an adjusted bail agreement giving him permission to travel to Victoria between October 18 and 19. His residence during the trip was listed as the YHA hostel in North Melbourne.
Harkins was instructed to report to Mount Gambier police station 24 hours after his return.

The application to vary Harkins’ bail was not opposed by police, according to a transcript of the court proceeding.
Harkins' lawyer was contacted for comment.
Morrison said it would be inappropriate to make any comment about Harkins while he faced criminal charges.

"In addition, the wellbeing (and privacy) of all our students is our primary concern and I don’t feel (particularly the survivor) needs to be reading in the paper comments from me about how we looked after her," he said in an email written while on tour in Brazil.

On the academy's website, Morrison explains that one of the reasons for setting up the school in Mount Gambier was to create a community among students who don’t have the distractions of a big city.
"It’s kind of like when you go to band camp – everybody there is into the music and when you’re not actually in class, you’re still with your colleagues who are passionate about jazz," he says on the academy’s website.
"Students at the JM Academy will benefit from living in close proximity to each other and when class ends for the day, instead of all going your separate ways, they can hang out together and maintain the ‘jazz’ atmosphere."
The academy was opened in 2015 with the help of $500,000 grant from the South Australian state government. It is affiliated with the University of South Australia, which enrols the students. Morrison is the head of school and his wife, Judi, is the executive director.
In 2017, the academy pledged to identify ways to prevent and respond to sexual harassment and sexual assault after separate allegations were raised against a staff member.

"The academy has policies dealing with sexual assault and sexual harassment that have been approved by UniSA," Morrison said.
As of next year, the academy will no longer accept enrolments for its three-year bachelor of music. One-year diploma and honours courses will still be offered. Morrison said this was due to a change in federal funding arrangements.
A University of South Australia spokesperson said it would be inappropriate to comment on the matter while it was before the courts.
"The University of South Australia takes the safety and wellbeing of every one of its students and staff very seriously and has comprehensive policies and support services in relation to this," the spokesperson said.
A trial has been set for March 23, 2020.

***...and I've not seen or heard this case being reported in Mt Gambier, and I'll be pleasantly stunned if even this 'Guilty Plea' makes the news here, as the usual Pro-Paedophile Corrupt stooges in the local media continue to protect their mates and their own self-interests...

***From what I caught of the ABC/BBC Radio report, Morrison wrote Harkins a glowing character reference, and Harkin's lawyer and/or Morrison requested that despite this 'Guilty Plea', that  'No Conviction' be recorded because 'it would negatively impact on Harkin's desired career as a music teacher'...unfortunately I didn't pick-up whether that 'request' had been granted/approved by the Court, and I believe that the matter has been adjourned to decide sentencing...Language Warning...what the actual fuck, how strong was the Prosecution case that Harkin's did a 'Plea Deal'? and given the 'Guilty Plea', how can 'No Conviction' even be considered...End Language Warning...and I ain't no lawyer but surely there can't be a gaol term and a 'No Conviction, dunno', maybe there can...

Australian jazz musician James Morrison has written a character reference for an American saxophonist who indecently assaulted a woman while studying at a prestigious South Australian music academy.

Matthew Allen Harkins, 26, will be sentenced next month in the South Australian District Court after today pleading guilty to one count of indecent assault.

His plea came after two counts of rape, a more serious charge, were withdrawn by prosecutors.

The court heard Harkins was a student at the James Morrison Academy of Music in Mount Gambier when he took a consensual sexual encounter too far.

Bill Boucaut SC, for Harkins, urged Judge Rauf Soulio not to record a conviction against his client's name because it would jeopardise his ambitions to become a music teacher in the future.

"Mr Harkins has never been in trouble before," he said.

"His father is a talented pianist — he inherited his father's gift. He is a highly accomplished musician."

Mr Boucaut said Harkins was a man with an "exemplary character", before handing Judge Soulio a bunch of character references, including one written by James Morrison.

He said Harkins took a gap year in 2015 and travelled to Australia and New Zealand with a friend before one of his teachers from the US encouraged him to audition for James Morrison in Sydney.

The court was told he was accepted into the James Morrison Academy for Music with "flying colours" in 2017.

"As for his future plans, he wants to make a career out of music. He wants to either maintain contact with the music industry as a session player, or a band, or both," Mr Boucaut said.

"He intends to return to the United States as soon as this is out of the way."

The court heard Harkins's visa expired six months ago but he could stay in Australia until his criminal prosecution was finalised.

But prosecutors told the court that the offending was too serious not to attract a conviction.

Harkins faces a maximum of eight years in jail for the offence.

***...and I cannot reconcile how 2 charges of Rape is reduced to 1 charge/'Guilty Plea' of 'Indecent Assault'...what does 'Indecent Assault' even mean?...and I'm extremely disturbed about this supposed explanation/excuse that Harkins "took a consensual sexual encounter too far."...to me that reeks of 'Victim Blaming', effectively stating that the young woman changed her mind so he's not really to be blamed, so it's not really Rape, etc...nor do I understand how his father's piano prowess is even relevant...there is now a further story on MSN, apparently sourced from the ABC...***

 ***And even after admitting to the reduced single charge of Indecent Assault, James Morrison still provides a character reference, and these people actually want to argue that Harkin's desire for a  future career is somehow a mitigating circumstance...as I understand it, this 'Plea Deal' also denies the young woman involved the opportunity to confront her 'Rapist/Assaulter'...possibly this is a good thing for her, sparing her from vicious cross-examination and associated character assassination, etc, and she might have even been involved in this decision...I don't know and it's not reported...however, I do understand that she has 'stopped' her musical studies and even her career, and it raises the issue of how that relates/compares to Harkins' desire to continue his musical career and the associated requests for relative clemency, etc...

I'm gunna' end here 'cos it's really doing my head in, and I can only imagine how it's affecting the young woman involved and the other Jazz Academy students who have had similar experiences...and I say "students" plural because I know of at least one Rape by former teacher Graeme Lyall, and how James Morrison and the Jazz Academy/Generations In Jazz have been complicitly involved in covering that up, so I find it inconceivably improbable that these Rapes/Sexual Assaults are isolated incidents...for my experience of these issues, there is a pattern of behaviour and conduct here that displays/denotes an attitude and a culture...and as always with these things, I'd rather be wrong, but I'm confident that what I've described is exactly as it appears, a 'culture' of abuse and cover-up...

Rann blasts Speaker over 'wild' pedophile ring claim

South Australia's parliamentary speaker should put up or shut up about his "wild" claims of a pedophile state politician, Premier Mike Rann said today.

Speaker Peter Lewis last week said two gay men, who were recently found dead in Adelaide, had told him of a pedophile MP who frequented the city's south parklands, a known homosexual haunt.
Mr Lewis also said the men's deaths could not be dismissed as coincidence.

Police initially said the pedophile MP allegations had been reported in 2003 and were found to be unsubstantiated. But this week they reopened the investigation.
Mr Rann today described Mr Lewis' claims as "wild" and "extraordinary".

"The allegations are about murder as well as pedophilia," Mr Rann said.
"These are very serious allegations that need to be cleared up by the police and I await their report with profound interest."
Mr Rann refused to offer his support to Mr Lewis, a former Liberal MP who turned Independent and handed Labor government his decisive vote in the state's cliffhanger 2002 election.

"My message to the speaker is this: You have got to produce the evidence and hand it over to the police," Mr Rann said.
"It's vitally important if you make wild allegations that you back them up to prove they have substance.

"So, therefore, I am awaiting with interest the report from police, and so is every other member of parliament."
Mr Rann said when Mr Lewis was appointed parliamentary speaker - as part of the deal which delivered Labor power at the last election - the Independent MP promised to "try and reinforce respect in the institution of parliament as well, of course, as the protecting the rights both collectively and individually of members of parliament".
"He also promised to restore dignity to the parliament," Mr Rann said.

"And so Peter Lewis knows that he is accountable for his own actions as well as being accountable to the parliament."
Mr Lewis has said claims an MP was involved in pedophile behaviour were made separately by gay victims Robert Woodland and Shaine Moore.

Mr Woodland, 36, was bashed to death last December in Adelaide's south parklands. His murder is unsolved.
Mr Moore, 33, was found dead in his north suburban Adelaide house on February 25 this year in what police say were suspicious circumstances.
Mr Lewis also said another man, convicted pedophile Craig Ratcliffe, had told him there was video evidence of the serving MP involved in a sexual act in the south parklands.

Police interviewed Mr Lewis last week about his claims.

...and I remind dear availees that us parents had already been in regular contact with Commissioner Ted Mullighan and Peter Lewis when Lewis 'resigned'/was forced/sacked/removed from the position of Speaker only 3 weeks after this (4th April 2005)...us parents were the second group of people to meet with Mullighan, at a time when this first group were being systematically eliminated...then less than 2 months later Parliament sat in Mt Gambier (5th-6th May 2005) and I was present when Peter Lewis twice spoke to the St Martins Cover-up, generating this outrageously corrupt response from the rancidly Pro-Paedophile Corrupt Labor stooge, alleged Independent Rory McEwen, via the equally complicit The Border Watch newspaper...

...all involved here, McEwen, Conlon, Rann, and particularly TBW, they all knew/know exactly what had happened at St Martins, they knew exactly what Lewis was talking about, they have consciously and willingly acted to attack and discredit the Whistleblower (Lewis), and more disgracefully, attack and denigrate and demonise us parents...and McEwen's classic 'gas-lighting' strategy of identifying the absolute truth, 1) "everything is corrupt", which it definably is in SA when it comes to Pro-Paedophile Corruption, and 2) 'has actually hounded the teacher' knowing that us parents had been relentlessly trying to get something done about teacher Glyn Dorling, a "text-book grooming paedophile", without ever going near him or contacting him, etc, and 3) "I made sure...fully investigated by police" in a context where SAPol had done absolutely nothing, not even interviewed Dorling...Rory knew/knows exactly what Dorling had done, what us parents had/have done, and what SAPol hadn't done, etc, etc, and he deliberately chose to lie about all of it, motivated by a desire to 1) protect a "text-book grooming paedophile", and therefore 2) protect and support the rancidly Pro-Paedophile Corrupt Labor Party...and that extraordinary series of lies and slanders, reported un-challenged by Sandra Morello (nee Wallace) in TBW...

Australia: Sexual Assault As A Societal Norm - Part II

Howdy dear availees, I thought that there were so many issues/stories left-out of the last post, and whilst I probably won't cover all of them even with this post, here's some more stuff I thought was important, even critical...and with all of the horrendous issues/stories involved, I'm gunna' start with the most egregious one that I'm aware of...

The St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up:...where-in the "text-book grooming paedophile" teacher Glyn Dorling was clearly engaging in sexualised physical contacts with 7 year old kids, and how SAPol (police), the Lutherans, the Dept of Education, the Teachers Registration Board, and a litany of lawyers like Bill DeGaris, Peter Humphries, Tim Bourne, Stephen Lieschke, etc, and dozens of politicians like Tony Pasin, Julia Gillard, Julie Bishop, Mike Rann, Jay Weatherill, Rob Kerin, Rob Lucas, Vicki Chapman, Michael Atkinson, John Rau, Jane Lomax-Smith, David Ridgway, Rory McEwen, Don Pegler, and the former Mt Gambier Mayor whom I'm not allowed to write about because of the 'reprehensibly vile' Final Intervention Orders issued by the rankly corrupt Magistrate Ian White, FIOs designed to ban me from attending Council meetings and to protect that rancidly corrupt 'man', etc, etc, etc, all issues with their primary motivations tracing back to the St Martins Cover-up...this 'ere blog exists because of St Martins, and the resultant Pro-Paedophile Political Persecution of my "bizarre trial", and the ongoing harassment from SAPol, Corrections SA, etc, etc, it all goes back to St Martins and what that Cover-up illustrates about the Institutionalised Pro-Paedophile Corruption that controls/runs South Australia...

And it's because these Pro-Paedophile Corrupt stooges know what Dorling was doing to our kids, that's what makes it such an intimidating thing for me to simply say, 'they know and have approved/consented/protected, so they won't mind when I do it to them'...even knowing that I'm not stupid enough and more importantly, it's just not in my nature, even then, it's such a malevolent statement because of the gross abuses it refers to...and I know I'm constantly bangin'-on about the St Martins Cover-up, but;
1) it never goes away for the many families and many of the kids, etc, and;
2) it didn't 'happen in the 1960's when attitudes were different', it happened this century, and;
3) it's absolutely relevant when discussing Sexual Assault As A Societal Norm, because if all of these people, Police, Politicians, Public Servants, etc, etc, if they all know and have acted directly or by omission to protect the perpetrator, to protect the abuser, to cover-up the abuse of dozens of 7 year old kids, then what hope for individual adults in circumstances where their abuser is often in a position of power and influence...

...and I'm stuck agreeing with both positions here, 'cos I do fully agree that the Murdochracy, eg, the Australian, do relentlessly and deliberately misrepresent the facts as part of their undisguised and massively biased attacks on Labor, and also routinely defend high-ranking paedophiles/sexual predators/etc, eg, Peter Hollingsworth, George Pell, Dyson Heydon, etc, etc...but I also agree that what is said here is not far-off the reality as I've experienced it...and I've covered this before, about how the FCARC was/is an absolute set-up to give the illusion of appropriate action against Institutionalised Child Abuse, to draw that imaginary 'line in the sand', to say 'that was then but now it's different', and everything's gunna' be okay now, etc...and I remind dear availees that the FCARC rejected myself and other families, dismissed our lengthy and document-supported submissions, and refused to look at the St Martins Cover-up at all, and then did not formally question the Lutherans at all, on any issue...I remind dear availees that for all intents and purposes, the Federal Child Abuse Royal Commission actively, knowingly, and willingly acted to protect the Lutherans...not my opinion, not my 'experience', just straight-out the stone-cold reality...but why?...well there's plenty of similar chatter on Twitter, etc, where-in it appears that the FCARC did little if anything about the Institutionalised Pro-Paedophile Corruption in South Australia...

Why did the SA-based PM Julia Gillard introduce a FCARC that barely looked at SA, and most particularly refused to look at the Lutherans, who are headquartered in SA?...is this what it looks like?...is this FCARC about deliberately trying to bury the realities of Institutionalised Pro-Paedophile Corruption in SA, nationally notorious as the Paedophile State, as being run by Paedophiles for Paedophiles?...sound ludicrous? well start from the end point, the FCARC Final Report, and work your way back through the non-inclusion of the Lutherans, minimal inclusion of other SA issues, back through Julia Gillard's political pedigree, including her specific knowledge of and participation in the St Martins Cover-up, etc, etc, and what appears illogical and unlikely becomes increasingly and chillingly plausible...the St Martins Cover-up is a clear indicator of the culture of Sexual Predation, and in SA particularly the culture of abusing children, and the protections afforded perpetrators by their mates/co-conspirators/fellow abusers/etc...     

I recently referred dear availees to the blog/website of Matilda Duncan, and re-refer y'all to that site, and particularly her stories about Sexual Assault rates, etc, and the extraordinary situation where the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation), a huge public service sector employer, the ABC appears to have no clear specific policy and/or mechanism for reporting Sexual Assault in the workplace, and even more concerning, no official records of such reports...here's the link...

...Ms Duncan has also done several other stories on issues of Sexual Assault in educational institutions like universities...it's not my place to editorialise about Ms Duncan's motivations, but I believe that her reportage largely reflects her own personal experiences of the lack of accountability and responsibility in tertiary education institutions when it comes to protecting students, usually female, and appropriately sanctioning perpetrators, usually men...and I say usually because it is far-and-away the norm that it is men harassing/assaulting women, or other men, but I personally know a young man who, as a uni student, had his studies/career repeatedly threatened by a senior female lecturer who was sexually harassing him...  

I'd also like to congratulate Ms Duncan for her extensive and intense researching and activism on behalf of Greyhound Welfare...and I specifically refer to the reactions that her efforts have generated, eg, being harassed at tracks, and some in the industry warning others about her, etc, and affecting some degree of change, eg, some sponsors withdrawing that support...this is very much in the same vein as The Mad F*cking Witches campaign that had shock-jerk Alan Jones lose a huge number of advertisers/sponsors, and subsequently his radio job...and very spooky coincidence I'm sure, that whilst I'm typing this there's an interview on the ABC/BBC Radio with a New South Wales Minister, (didn't catch his name and there's effectively 3 different Ministers with possible oversight/authority, sorry), vehemently defending the 'new welfare legislation', and something about Taree's recent upgrade of facilities as it relates to the new '3.5m square rule', and defending "mum and dad" owners, and apparently "everything goes toward (their) greyhounds (welfare)'...a quick Interweb search shows that this 'new legislation' does nothing to ensure the 'welfare of Greyhounds', and indeed there's a 10-year allowance for compliance...     

And again I'll quantify my admiration and sense of quiet awe for what Ms Duncan has achieved in not just fighting-back against her trauma, albeit sans music, by pushing back against all of the deliberately abusive disinformation being promoted by the Catholic Church/Tennyson Woods College, James Morrison/Graeme Lyall, SAPol, multiple lawyers like Bill DeGaris, etc, etc, and generating an official Catholic report, receiving some compensation, and publicly sharing her story so as to educate and support others...with the St Martins Cover-up, as horrendous and massive as it is, there were always a few families carrying the issue forward, even if it's mainly just me now, and I wasn't the person abused/raped, so I can only imagine what sort of strength it takes to take on SAPol, Tennyson Woods, Lyall, DeGaris, etc, etc, let-alone achieve the things that Ms Duncan has...bravo...

Just stunned to see that Victorian Police have dumped their 2-year long alleged investigation of notorious serial groper/molester, former Melbourne Mayor Robert Doyle...yet another case where the evidence of several women apparently means absolutely nothing...I mean, seriously, what the shreck did police look at for 2 shreckin' years?...Language Warning...and then Victorian Police have the bare-faced abusive audacity to end their 'no action announcement' with the extraordinary 'fuck you all' statement that they take all sexual assault claims very seriously and encourage 'victims' to contact them...fuck me, fuck it, fuck them...sorry but not sorry for the swearing, this just makes me so rabidly angry and I don't know how better to express myself than some good ol' apoplectic expletiving...the 'no action' is bad enough, but the follow-up 'contact us' statement is just appalling, and ultimately it's exactly what it looks like, it's a massive 'fuck you' from police to anyone who's considering reporting someone of influence/power, it's a clear statement that you'll get the exact same appalling treatment, don't bother sweetheart...End Language Warning...and here's that official statement...

I've recently become aware of Mt Gambier local Marcia Hobbs and her book 'Ugly Heroes'...haven't yet got a copy so's I only know the broader details and can't quote it directly, but I do understand that it's about Ms Hobbs personal experiences with SAPol in Mt Gambier, and police involvement in drugs, etc, as it all relates to her 'alleged' assault by a SAPol officer, etc...and I say 'alleged' purely for legal reasons, because I don't want to accidentally trample on anything that Ms Hobbs has done and/or may currently be doing, and/or get myself in trouble for 'defamation', etc...even with the little I do know, I have no hesitation in accepting Ms Hobbs account as accurate and truthful, and therefore have no hesitation in recommending her book to dear availees...it's another situation where-in I find myself somewhat in awe of the person and their achievements, and duly inspired and empowered to continue with what I do...

And just reporting now (2nd July 2020) on ABC radio that the Appeal against 'Defamation Damages' awarded to Geoffrey Rush has been dismissed by the Court, and therefore he gets the full original amount...we covered this original ruling, etc, in the previous post, and I re-iterate my position that the ruling was yet another 'don't bother to report it' situation, and that the Magistrate, Justice Wigney's conduct toward the 'victim' was hugely biased, abusive, and wholly inappropriate, eg, denying critical defense witnesses, and as part of the Grounds for Appeal, grounds that have been dismissed as irrelevant, that appalling conduct has been approved/ratified by the Federal Court...it's absolutely disgraceful across the board, Geoffrey Rush's appalling conduct, Justice Wigney's appalling conduct, and now this farcical decision by the Federal Court...and it sends a chillingly direct and unambiguous message to 'victims', namely, if you dare to report a powerful person, you'll get abused and attacked and denigrated by the Court...and even if you're not the one who reported it, remember, that Ms Norvill only told a friend who told a journo who published without Ms Norvill's knowledge let-alone consent...and if y'all reckon I'm being overly dramatic about it, please avail ya'selves of the previous post and go Interwebbing to look at this extraordinary case...

Breaking News: Mt Gambier City Council have apparently chosen a head contractor/tender for the 'minimum $40million' Farcical Aquatic Recreation Centre, via a closed meeting last night (Wednesday 1st July 2020), but they're not announcing who it is yet because they're 'still sorting-out some of the minor details, like the actual cost, etc'...(but how can MGCC award the Tender whilst "still sorting-out the details"?-Ed)...gourd knows mate, makin' it up as they go along, and it follows on from recent stories on the ABC where-in Mayor Lynette Martin, Councillor Ben Hood, and CEO Andrew 'Peddle To The' Meddle have all refused to give a specific 'Yes' to questions about the FARC's progress, is it happening still, etc, and the last coupla' interviews I heard it wasn't mentioned at all...Language Warning...anyhoos, it's a massive cluster-fuck looking for somewhere to happen, and it will drive Mt Gambier Ratepayers into unimaginable debt for decades and subsequently completely compromise future basic services and facilities, etc...more about this soon...End Language Warning...
