Nick Xenophon - The Judas Goat Of Aussie Politics?

Hello Czech Republic, Singapore, India, and the United States of America, and brief apology for another week-long non-blog, but a non-blogging that relates directly to feedback...had expected at least a minor storm of feedback abuse re the recent post about the manipulations evident in the Rail Lands Karaoke Thingy, but I've been shocked about how supportive the response has been...I was so 'traumatised' about attacking this Cancer related event that I spoke to a coupla' people about it, and their almost identical responses revolved around the 'Charity Bureaucracy' issues, the nepotism and corruption, etc, and used as an example what's just happened with the closure/collapse of cricketer Shane Warne's 'Charity/Foundation/Whatevs'...beyond that, I was again told/encouraged to 'let-up' on myself and do this 'ere blog as often as I feel like it/need to/whatevs, because 1) it's important that TMGI continue, and 2) I've already fought so long and so hard that I ain't gotta' prove not nuthin' to no-one...(damn straight!-Ed)...

With my child recently returned to Uni, and no other familial visits on the horizon, I'll no longer be indulging in long hazy days of just hangin'-out together, etc, and focussing instead on my exasperations and aspirations re this 'ere blog...also, I'm a tad overwhelmed by the personal support I've received in recent months and pleased with myself that whilst this 'ere blog remains a bit of a bit-piece enterprise at the moment, my very hard work off-blog has paid enormous dividends...can't prove either the hard work or the results other than to say that them peeps what do know me say that I'm not quite the vaguely ominous, intense bucket-a'-happiness I was only a year ago...apparently my carriage, disposition and temperament have all markedly improved, as most evidenced by my new-found ability to have conversations that don't entirely revolve around the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up...(there's an 'off-blog'?-Ed)...yeah, I'll tell you 'bout it later...

Beyond that, feedback has been less than complimentary about a range of the actual issues stemming from that Rail Karaoke post, for example, criticism about the veracity of TV Talent Shows, etc...don't watch them myself so I wouldn't know exactly what happens, can't comment, don't really care, and the bottom-line remains for me that it doesn't matter what musician Ms Louise Adams does or doesn't know about the raft of rank corruptions evidenced in the Rail Lands Retail Agenda and the $5million development as it currently exists, and/or this vacuous agenda of propaganda to try and 'Activate the Rail' and give this costly mess some sort of credibility, etc, her knowledge or ignorance of any and/or all of that stuff is basically irrelevant in the context that her 'celebrity' is being used by others re this Propaganda Agenda...and whilst we're on the Rail Lands...

DUCK! And Another Duck:...and a third duck...and a Masked Lapwing/Hooded Plover/Whatevs...down on the Bijou? deep in the Everglades? on the repeatedly re-trenched, re-plumbed, really-rooted Eastern end of the Rail Lands where Council laid-out $200,000 of Rolled-Gold Turf?...(ummm, I'll take 'Dodgy Nepotistic Council Contracts' for 200,000 thanks Nick-Ed)...congratulations Ed, you've won the right to stand in the baking sun/pissing rain due to the complete lack of appropriate shelter and splash-about in Council's multi-million dollar Eastern Insta-Swamp...deadset, hasn't rained for months and then one half-decent downpour and it's Swamp Time, again, and this despite the costly multiple drainage re-workings of that site/area by teams of Council workers...please note that there's an algae-choked rock-pool and adjacent 2m deep concrete Death Pit of Stupidity (drainage pond) only 200m West, yet the ducks prefer this...for your viewing pleasure...

You can also just pick-up the water streaming from the swampy Rail Lands out across the footpath and onto Railway Tce...the second photo is taken just to the right of the first...both fortuitously show the buildings on the Southern boundary, buildings that would be the perfect and instant back-stop for a North-facing Sound Shell...(can't help seeing some irony in this frenzy of 'musical events' being pushed onto the Rail Lands, when the cornerstone of Mt Gambier City Council's $10million November 2011 Parklands Concept Plan was/is a "Sound Shell"-Ed)...nicely observed Ed, that 'Shell' has repeatedly bobbed in-and-out of Council's plans and promises, eg, the recent 'Stage 4' deceit where Council suddenly invented a whole new 'Stage' that included the 'big ticket' items that Council has repeatedly promised but clearly has no intention of providing, namely 1) that Sound Shell, 2) access through to Margaret St/the Aquatic Centre precinct, etc, and the most glaringly obvious, 3) the complete failure/refusal to do any work to renovate the iconic Old Rail Station building...but we digress...

                 Hello and welcome to your very own dedicated post, Nick, mate...(maaate-Ed)...and of course, if indeed that's where this post ends-up, with you requiring a Right of Reply, then you're more than welcome to come onto this 'ere blog and attempt to defend/explain yourself...(well good luck with that, given that Mr X is currently avoiding/ignoring you and the other parents that he so profusely promised to support with all that St Martins stuff, promised support like appearing with y'all to support y'all when y'all gave evidence to the Statutory Authorities Review Committee Inquiry (no.54) into the Teachers Registration Board, but then failing to do so?-Ed)...excellent statement/question Ed, and furthermore...

That SARC Inquiry no.54:...and an apology that a coupla' times in other posts I reckon I've referred to "Inquiry no.52", my bad, and shows that no matter how hard I check/try, there'll be some minor errors in TMGI, but these are made remarkable by their infrequency, I hope...(well one thing you can guarantee is that any errors are genuine and not deliberately malicious-Ed)...indeed Ed, I'm far too concerned about pushing these various issues in a positive direction to compromise the realities with deliberate 'mistakes'...and I'd go further than that and say that I've established a degree of credibility, via both this 'ere blog and by personal attendance/application, that would allow me to make-up a fair bit of shizzle, yet I don't and won't...(well given the unrelenting bizarreness of these realities, I'd reckon you don't need to make shizzle-up-Ed)...spot on Ed...

I note that this official State Parliament Inquiry by a Standing Committee, the SARC Inquiry no.54, self-identifies as being based on the St Martins/Glyn Dorling issue and the related TRB/Crown Solicitor Inquiry into Dorling's behaviours/conduct that ran from March 2003-November 2004, an 'Inquiry' that completely exonerated Dorling...that TRB/CSO Inquiry and outcome was so problematic that it justified/forced the SARC Inquiry no.54... 

I also note that Mr Xenophon never took this issue to the media outside of Mt Gambier, another unfortunate similarity to others whom have appeared/spoken in Mt Gambier, but ne'ery a pathetic whimper outside of the area, not even in that Sorry Sack of Backwater, Adelaide...(and haven't The Advertiser flatly refused to run anything on this St Martins stuff?-Ed)...absolutely!...(except of course for the January 2005 article that The Advertiser ran to undermine/dismiss the story from the Melbourne-based Channel 10 TV news that ran on 3rd January 2005, where-in the parent interviews in that story were recorded at this 'ere house what you call your home-Ed)...indeed Ed...wow, that's 11 years ago...11 years since parents lobbied and negotiated and organised with TV10 for a balanced and reasonably lengthy story re St Martins that included statements from the then Principal John Alexander...

And I think the strength of the TV10 story was it's impartiality, which initially I wasn't that happy about, but when viewed beyond my personal space/mindset/agenda/whatevs, still shows that something definitely has happened at St Martins...even a 'soft' story shows that something happened, eg, it has John Alexander stating that he did everything correctly, eg, notify SAPol (police)...but excuse me, yet again I digress, guess that all this George Pell/Child Abuse Royal Commission mallarchy has got me all hepped-up re that Commission's informed refusal to act on my/parents' submissions and look at St Martins or even come to Mt Gambier, and failure to even mention the Lutherans in 3 years of supposedly forensic investigations...(I can see how that might be on your mind-Ed)...but it's still digressing from the topic, Mr Xenophon, so shall we?...(yes, let's-Ed)...    

In August 2013, just weeks prior to the September 2013 Federal election I bailed-up Nick mate...(maaate-Ed)...at a local car dealership when he lobbed there for a campaign stunt/photo-op, and he immediately recognised me...(dude, of course he remembered you, strewth!-Ed)....recognised me and asked me to wait 'til afters his stuff, and I did, and then we sat there across a small table in that dealership's reception, and to my face, from only feet away, he asked me to 'back-off and wait until after the election' and 'give him a clear run', etc, and all in reference to the St Martins stuff...and from there? absolutely nothing, including ignoring other parents who have tried to contact him... 

(Didn't you also contact him re these bizarre charges you're currently facing in Court?-Ed)...indeed I did Ed, emailed him and then rang his office and was rudely told 'Nick doesn't do State issues' before being hung-up on...(charming!-Ed)...indeed, and told that in the exact time-frame when Nick mate...(maaate-Ed)...was all over the local media re some people/residents getting kicked out of an Adelaide seaside caravan park...(well that's clearly more important than either the St Martins Cover-up or this massively powerful legislation that you're currently being persecuted/prosecuted with-Ed)...indeed, an issue/legislation awash with Constitutional Conundrums and pungent overtones of Political Persecution...(indeed yourself, because I would argue, how is this not Mr Xenophon's responsibility? political persecution by the State via legislation that fundamentally eviscerates Federal Constitutional Law...how is this not his problem as the elected Federal representative of all South Australians?-Ed)...all excellent points Ed...

Those questions aside, I don't understand why Mr X has chosen to support these almost Fascist changes to Federal Voting/Preference Distribution, because 1) it appears to be support for stopping people like himself getting elected into any office Federally, and 2) he didn't need to go anywhere near it because the Liberals who are pushing this change already have the support of The Greens, and therefore the numbers...I can't figure-out why Mr Xenophon would work so hard to promote himself as a viably independent alternative standing apart from the major Parties, and then openly support this nonsense...in a context where all involved are considered to be inclusively collusive, this bipartisan attack on the Xenophon Party in South Oz is potentially the good ol' 'reverse psychology' strategy/manipulation that makes Mr X look good in the eyes of voters, ie, 'oo look, both major Parties are attacking him, therefore he must be independent, etc, and therefore he'll get my vote 'cos I hate the major Parties'...(oh yeah? how much?-Ed)...alot!...(right, you're in-Ed)...with appropriate nods to Monty Python's - Life Of Brian...(I love that movie-Ed)...     

Is Nick Xenophon truly the solution to our problems re uncaring, unaccountable major Parties, or is he just a slick personification of the rank corruption that potentially has supported/protected his success?...is Mr X the genuinely independent alternative to a political system massively dominated by the Liberal/Nationals and Labor, or is he the Judas Goat being proffered as a 'false prophet' if you will, presented as being a strong and genuine alternative so as to give a jaded and un-trusting public the false hope that we actually have some choice and/or chance?...is Nick completely genuine and playing The Long Game, The Very Long Game Indeed, and I just can't see it 'cos I ain't got the political smarts, or is he little more than a puppet just stringing us along?...you tell me...

Did Mr Xenophon deliberately lead us parents into an inescapable ambush in the form of this clearly corrupted SARC Inquiry no.54, or did he get us the only investigation/Inquiry he could in a genuine attempt to help us?...you tell me 'cos I couldn't tell you definitively, and I've been living this reality since it first kicked-off in September /October 2006 when Mr X travelled to Mt Gambier and first met myself and other parents...the reality that continued through late 2007 when Mr X tabled a motion calling for the SARC Inquiry, literally his last act as a State politician before going Federal...and a reality that continued from the final vote to establish the Inquiry (October 2008) through to it's farcical conclusion in July 2011...did Nick betray us or support us?...

Is Mr Xenophon's success as a politician a genuine testament to his personal abilities, commitment, etc, or is it evidence of the support/reward he's received for supporting the St Martins Cover-up and potentially other issues?...is he the light at the end of a 2-Party Tunnel, or is he just another manifestation of the political Gravy Train?...

Howdy Sweden, India, South Korea, and Malaysia...yo ma' homies, whatup guvna?...(what the hell accent is that?!-Ed)...whichever one the dear availee chooses to use because that is the beauty of the written word in that it provides the palette but the perceivers' mind paints the picture and the soundtrack, accents, etc, etc, thus any reference to silly voices opens the choices to the reader...I'm going for 'African-American Cockney'...(well how's about instead of that you go for 'large angry hippy' who spent Tuesday 2nd February in Court!-Ed)...well part of it, yeah I did, and I was just making polite chat before plowing into a basically dot point regurgitation of what happened in the latest hearing of my bizarre Court case...(I think we all know what we're here for, and it ain't polite, but there's often plenty a' regurgitation!-Ed)...hey, what's with all the '!!!'? why so emphatically punctuated?...(I'm just fired-up after that bizarre shenanigans Tuesday Feb 2nd, and think you oughtta' focus on that, rather than being 'polite'-Ed)..patience Grasshopper, you'll soon see that we've already covered much ground in this paragraph...but first...

I'll Have The Rampant Paranoia Platter Please:...1) just for the record, 2) 'cos it's kinda' relevant, 3) without specifically disclosing what I know about State exertions to try and 'get me', eg, the specifics of the massive SAPol (police) effort to 'get me', and 4) referencing the vast catalogue of institutionalised pro-paedophile corruption exposed on this 'ere blog, I'm going to state as being actualised fact, my personal belief that my phones/computer/whatevs are being monitored/recorded/whatevs, and have been for quite some time...(and of course this 'ere blog is-Ed)...well indeed...(and some poor shmuck's gotta' trawl through all this to collate and cross-reference it, etc, etc, as Prosecutions 1) furiously try and paper over the gaping holes in their case/the bizarre legislation, 2) try to address the many points of corruption/mismanagement re conduct of this trial/case, 3) all whilst desperately hoping you do/say/post something that can actually be used against you -Ed)...absolutely, and a specific exchange Tuesday Feb 2nd proved the monitoring if not the shmuckness of the person burdened with that task......

And secondly, yet again, this 'ere blog proves itself to be the Crucible Of Irony in that it's bloggin' what got me in this trouble, and my only genuine defense is what I can cover on this 'ere blog...and Tuesday Feb 2nd also proved irretrievably that my case is being very carefully herded toward a predetermined outcome entirely unencumbered by propriety or professionalism or justice...(it's almost like it's some sort of pro-paedophile political persecution-Ed)...and finally, in the 30 minutes or so of today's* hearing, there was a cyclical discussion of several points, but I don't have a recording, so I've been forced to effectively paraphrase each topic, paragraph by paragraph, from memory...so here goes...   (*started this post that afternoon and have other notes from the day)...

Today* I was legislatively forced/legally required/very politely requested to go stand in the Dirty Perps Box in the Mt Gambier Magistrates Court re these 20 charges/counts I'm facing re 'talking about stuff'...(stuff that's allegedly all super-fine and hunky-dory-Ed)...indeed, a State Authority allegedly doing what it's supposed to do...(and allegedly doing it properly-Ed)...etc, etc, covered this in many previous posts...so's I stand in the DPB and self-represent on Constitutional Law...and all I did was be the relatively polite, basically respectful, reasonably well-spoken person I am...never mentioned the words "St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up", "paedophile", "corruption", "conspiracy"...("pro-paedophile political persecution"?-Ed)...no, I apologise Ed, not even that...played it all with a super straight-bat, but consequently spent a good deal of time watching the Court and/or prosecutions fetch the ball back from behind the sight-screen...(nice-Ed)...but to the meat and veg of the matter...

I was forced to effectively 'self-represent' after my case was returned here to Mt Gambier, having spent the last 6 months in Adelaide, after it was moved there re issues of Constitutional Law, issues that are self-evidently proven in that 1) that's why the case was moved, after 2) it had been agreed by the Prosecution (SAPol) and the Court...I repeatedly stated this today* and it is critically important, but was basically ignored by the Magistrate...right from the off, it was my understanding/advice that this was headed for the High Court...this Constitutional issue was immediately raised by the Magistrate today*...there were several discussions, indeed, almost the entire hearing went backwards and forwards across what I'd been told and the moving of the case, etc, etc...

Several times the Magistrate discussed these issues with the SAPol Prosecution, a young woman appearing via video-link from Adelaide, upto and including repeated discussion of notes/indications/whatevs on her/their file/paperwork/whatevs, of the impending need for a meeting of the Attorneys General due to the Constitutional issues involved...(seriously? all the state's Attorney Generals?-Ed)...yep, and the Federal one...(ohh, because once the Constitutional issues/impacts are confirmed, the AG Posse need to discuss the potential implications, etc, before the case proceeds-Ed)...spot on...SAPol Prosecution person and the Magistrate went back and forward over this stuff about the AG Posse for several minutes, but then the Magistrate turned to me and stated forcefully 'you haven't proven the Constitutional issues!'...(whaaa? but you're not a lawyer-Ed)...that's what I said!...(no no, hang on, back it up a second...so's the entire hearing's about the Constitutional stuff, there's extensive unambiguous discussion of the Court and Prosecutions acknowledging these issues upto and including the issue of an AG Posse Ho-down re this bizarre legislation, and then you're told you haven't sorted it?-Ed)...exactly...    

I'll just make the point that SAPol Police Prosecution's Andrew Paech, the man who on August 12th 2014 emailed me/my Legal Eagles stating that 'we'll let you know when and if Mr Fletcher's gunna' be charged, etc'...this email was quoted in a recent post...Mr Paech is a gutless coward who attended the December 2015 hearing in Adelaide, knowing full well that I was attending via phone hook-up but wouldn't physically be present, but then when it comes down to actually facing me, this rankly incompetent coward shoves some poor young woman out into the firing line, virtually unarmed, to duly be made to look like a complete idiot...(indeed, on several occasions you made both the Magistrate and Prosecutions look, well, stupid-Ed)...not my fault Ed, and nor specifically the Magistrates/Prosecutions, if me simply speaking the truth makes others look like idiots...(good point-Ed)...and one worth repeating...

Should I feel proud, confident, and gloaty that I successfully argued/self-represented my case, over and over, and in the process made the Magistrate and the Prosecutions look unprepared, confused, and fundamentally incompetent, or should we all be hugely concerned that I, that anyone, can walk into a Court and make all concerned look like idiots...(you're not too impressed with this Magistrate, are you?-Ed)...and why would I be? completely ignored or dismissed all of the relevant points I raised, repeatedly had a go at me from the bench, and all clearly whilst trying to drag Mr Bonig and his corrupt 'advice letter' into the equation...(the Magistrate was very keen to keep Bonigs name in the debate-Ed)...indeed...(it's almost like she knows about the rankly corrupt document that he's circulating purporting to be definitive legal advice on your behalf-Ed)...knows of it's existence and I would suggest knows the contents as well, and is desperately keen to get it in play, but cannot mention specifically and/or somehow acknowledge that knowledge...

2) The Magistrate kept referring/deferring to Mr Bonig despite my repeated protestations that he is not/was not/never was my lawyer, that I've never even spoken to him, etc, etc...her complete lack of response to my statements was a clear indication that she knows all about Ralphies' involvement, and his rancidly corrupt behaviours re me his alleged client, a betrayal committed to the page, 7 of them in fact, in the rankly corrupt 'legal advice/opinion' he sent me 2 days before the hearing of December 10th 2015...pardon my paranoia, but getting this corruptly erroneous letter out in the open, this is what Tuesday's* hearing was about...the Magistrate kept going back to this shonky lawyer and his shonky shreckin' letter because there-in lies the Prosecution's only hope...

Ralph Bonig Is A Corrupt Shonk:...who has spewed forth a grossly deceitful and erroneous document that furiously flies in the face of every other piece of advice that I've received, and as is self-evidently prepared on behalf of the Prosecutions to be used against me...that 'advice/opinion' is a fraudulent piece of crap drafted by just another rankly corrupt Adelaide lawyer doing the bidding of his equally corrupt mates...it's a joke...again, this bizarre case was moved to Adelaide because of the looming Constitutional issues as agreed by the Court and SAPol Prosecution...

Also, in explaining the critical issues of 1) the vastly undefinable nature of the legislation, 2) the precedent nature of the case, and 3) the difficulties I've had getting solid, definitive advice, I mentioned that I had been to my local Member Troy Bell (twice in 2014), and that "I take him at his word" that he couldn't get Liberal lawyers to even give him advice/opinion on this legislation because of the sweeping vagueness and untested nature of the Act I'm being persecuted/prosecuted under...

**Still really strugglin' to get back on the bloggin' horse, and have had a really bad week...call me pathetic, but I felt terrible for getting stuck into the Leukemia Foundation fundraiser on the Rail Lands, etc, in the last post, and felt so bad it actually made me physically ill...(oh so you're apologising now for criticising it or you were wrong? what is it?-Ed)...no none of that, 'cos I ain't apologising for being right about the deeply nepotistic 'jobs-for-mates' issue of Sam Rothall's involvement and/or the being right about the sickly cynical manipulation of the Cancer issue to justify this 'fundraiser', but it stirred-up a bunch of really unhelpful stuff for me about 1) my own Cancer stuff, 2) the rankly corrupt nepotism evident in everything I see go on around me, and most challenging, 3) that sense of 'why is it me that has to wade into these things and pull them apart for the corrupt deceits and manipulations that they are?' 'why can't I just go to these things and mindlessly/ignorantly/innocently enjoy the froth and the bubbles?'...**

Two Court stories on ABC Local Radio on Wednesday morning (*Feb 3rd) about a Break/Enter and a Possess Stolen Goods...(but not a mention of that bastard Nick Fletcher?-Ed)...no, when it comes to the rankly corrupt South Australian ABC and particularly the rancidly corrupt Mt Gambier ABC, it's ban Mr Fletcher of the air, censor him out of the elections, etc, etc...I mean, why would the ABC, whom continually spew forth about how they're so critically important as the voice of the people and how they cover the stories others don't, blah blah blah, etc, etc, why wouldn't they appropriately cover this massively important case that has direct implications for everyone in this Sad Sick State?...(ummm, I dunno'-Ed)...no, it's a rhetorical question Ed, slathered with seething contempt, cynicism, and sarcasm...

And another amazing story just this morning (Wed 17th Feb) with a Prof from Uni of NSW (or a Uni in NSW, whatevs), re the issues of Social Media and defamation, etc...the Prof was understandably vague but cautioning re exactly what the law says you can and can't do, what is and/or isn't defamation, etc, but he was also championing the role SM plays in 'free speech', etc...(well he clearly has no idea about the legislation you're being 'prosecuted' under-Ed)...indeed, and as usual with the ABC Mt Gambier it's exactly what isn't said that's more important than what is said...(well when it comes to you mate-Ed)...indeed...(in fact, as you said, Stuart Stansfield and the ABC in general are deliberately censoring you out of all the news-Ed)...indeed they are Ed, all a part of the greater issue that is the ABC's wholly complicit conduct re the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up... 

In a discussion about Social Media/defamation that traipses back and forward across exactly what is happening to me in Court right now, and happening with the ABC reporter sitting right there again and again, and as covered repeatedly in The Border Watch, etc, announcer Selina Green never once mentioned my case...(well you'd expect some comment/question about it, given that's what the whole discussion was about-Ed)...indeed, in any balanced, non-corrupt situation you'd fully expect some sort of reference, eg, 'yeah, there's a local blogger who's currently in Court re defamation, etc, for what he's blogged'...(but you're not charged with 'defamation' or anything even close, you're charged with 'talking about stuff that's officially all fine'-Ed)...true Ed, but the point I'm making is that during this interview about this exact issue, my case wasn't even mentioned, not even in an errant way...how can this be discussed without mentioning my case?...(well you said it yourself, because you're being censored-off the ABC due to their definable pro-paedophile corruption-Ed)... 

And so to answer my own question in a very roundabout sort of way, this is why I find myself where I am seeing the corrupted ugliness in all things and being publicly derided for pointing it out...and I wish I was wrong or that I was seeing things that aren't there, but the corruption is real and so is the manipulation and nepotism, etc, and they're all part of that institutionalised pro-paedophile corruption that defines South Australia...(yay-Ed)...

Some Rail Lands Latest

Hello y'all in Romania, Thailand, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom and a longish post re the announcement Tuesday evening on WIN TV's 90 Second/2 Stories/Jammed In An Ad Break News Service for the South East, as sourced from/provided by The Border Watch...(wow, WIN TV really is committed to this community, isn't it? I mean, 2 whole stories followed by 3 sports items, run during an advertisement break in their mainstream news, and those 2 stories come from TBW...we're nearly as lucky to have WIN TV as we are to have Mighty Mark McShenanigans as Mt Gambier City Council CEO for another 5 years-Ed)...oi! I'll do the seething sarcasm 'round 'ere thanks!...

And haven't Council been working hard to shove their version of reality down people's throats re the Rail Lands...(with the unwavering support of The Border Watch, ABC Mt Gambier, etc-Ed)...yeah yeah, all the usual suspects...just today, TBW is yet again full of stories about the Rail Lands, stories that glaze over the realities of Council's conduct re the multiple issues of gross mismanagement of the project, the chopping and changing about what's being done, eg, the magical 'Stage 4' that suddenly appeared in a Council meeting, and supposedly included the Sound Shell, access to Margaret St, and of course, work on the Old Rail Station, only to suddenly disappear again...and the flooding, and cost of remediation of that, etc, etc...it's a farcical disaster, and there's no denying it!...  

And I'll say it as said to me, 'there ain't not nuthin' what's been done on that site that ain't directly a result of yous (me) and your (my) relentless floggin' of this issue/Council, etc, etc' (paraphrase)...and I partially agree, but to me it's clearly merely just yet another opportunity for a rankly corrupt Council to pour/rort Ratepayers' money straight into the personal pockets of Councillors', their families, and their mates!...(yeah, fair enough, but what if one drove the other? if the need to address the growing community criticism you stirred-up forced Council's hand, and then they've set-up the Pocketting Plan for themselves and their mates!-Ed)...possible I s'pose, but beyond all that it's fundamentally still about using Ratepayers' money to prepare that site for the huge expansion of the Lakes Plaza...(oh absolutely, and getting as much of that money into each others' pockets as humanly possible-Ed)...     

Oh, and I don't apologise for not getting to a daily post yet, because I've had a ton of familial stuff to deal with, including multiple visitationings, and another 24-36hr Crash-N'-Burn Narcolepsy...(and Court of course, that's gotta' suck it outta' ya' a bit'?-Ed)...well indeed...(I mean, victoriously debating Constitutional Law against the Court itself and SAPol (police) Prosecutions, that's a fair effort, but one that comes at a fair cost-Ed)...yes, all-in-all a bunch of very strange days indeed and another week's gone, just like that...("strange"? you idiot...that "strange" is what normal people call 'happy'-Ed)...mmm, no, sorry, not with you...(orrr you're hilarious...and while we're on the subject, that other "strange" feeling? that's self-respect-Ed)...what? that weird momentary twinge I had Tuesday arvo just after Court...(yeah, that's the one-Ed)...I'll have to take your word for it...

Anyhoos, on WIN TV it was reported that MGCC is considering a 'Commercial' option/developer for the iconic Old Rail Station building...(that horribly run-down, Asbestos riddled mess of an iconic old building on the Rail Lands site?-Ed)...yep...(that broken hulk of a building that looms definitively over the farcical $5million Rail Lands 're-development'?-Ed)...yeah yeah, we all know what building we're talking about, but I'll call you on the hyperbole because it's my understanding that the building is structurally very sound, it's the deliberate lack of maintenance, etc, that deliberately make it look so bad, and the asbestos issues can/will be easily addressed when the building is appropriately renovated...(which is never, 'cos, and you said it yourself, it's right in the way of the massive expansion of the Lakes Plaza shopping centre planned by Council as per the RLRA-Ed)...alright clever clogs, yes, the RLRA means the Old Station's doomed...

I ain't the only person in this town who thinks that the Old Station has a very precarious possibly limited future and may well go the way of the old Roundhouse building just up the tracks aways, another iconic building, and one that unfortunately burnt down not that long ago...is this iconic Old Station building insured for 'Rebuild Cost', 'Replacement Cost', or just 'Cash To Council'?...(is it insured at all?-Ed)...indeed, I'd suggest insurance is a critical issue to be examined...is Council pushing to sell this cheaply to a mate using the faux-justification that there was no other interest? and why do Council continue to lie about their plan for Commercial/Retail development of the site?...a plan confirmed by this TBW article from March 2006... 

Not my story, not my plan, not my imagination...(I am-Ed)...shhh...as reported in 2006 re the 30 page proposal/plan, "...two plans proposing somewhere between 9000 and 12,000 square metres of commercial development..."...that right there's the Rail Lands Retail Agenda...

(Mate, there's a very small, very vague item in today's TBW re this alleged consideration/approach-Ed)...indeed, very vague and can't help wondering if this isn't yet another Psuedo-Tender Process as per the Old Gaol, the Lady Nelson Bus Shelter, the Main Corner 'leasing', the Old Hospital Demolition, the Rail Lands, etc, etc...(what about the SERDE building sale to Billy DeGaris?-Ed)...classic example Ed, cheers...just flap about pretending to do a genuine Tender Process, and then just give it to a mate, mate...(maaate...hang on, back it up a bit, I thought that Council had repeatedly stated that when they did 'extensive public consultation'/'expressions of interest'/'whatevs' re the Old Rail Station, that there'd been no interest from anyone?-Ed)...indeed they did Ed, and as put to me from/by multiple sources, that's an absolute lie because there have been multiple approaches/applications re utilising the classic Old Rail Station building...(so just yet another lie in a litany of gross deceits of the Mt Gambier community by Mount Gambier City Council as Council, their family members, and/or and their vested interest mates continue to pursue their decade-old and clearly disastrous RLRA?-Ed)...terrific statement question Ed, to which I respond, yes...

And then when outed on that lie, Council tried to change horses mid-stream saying that they were dumping the 'lease' idea, and instead going for this 'Pop-ups' shizzle to 'activate the site'...(oh gourd-Ed)...and now we're back to 'there's been an approach about commercial usage'...(dude, you're right, this looks exactly like the bloody Old Gaol Tender corruption all over again, and the Lady Nelson Bus Shelter location debasco and Tender corruption, 2 major 'corruptions' in one project, and the Old Hospital Demolition corruption, and the extraordinary corruption evident in the Main Corner and Rail Lands projects, in fact, the corruption evident in pretty much everything this rankly corrupt Council does-Ed)...what can I say Ed, when you're right you're right... 

And if all that weren't bad enough, there's this karaoke thing at 'The Rail' tonight...(mate, I thought you weren't going to get stuck into anything like this because of the 'Greater Good' agenda stuff you've got goin' on, and this is after all a Leukemia Foundation fundraiser-Ed)...I know what it is Ed, I know exactly what it is, unfortunately I know exactly what's going on here, and it's deeply, deeply depressing when my anger and cynicism and personal loathing for the way that Mt Gambier City Council conducts itself, when all of that can't keep up with the reality of the cynical manipulations of this corrupt Council...you people are a bloody disgrace...(geez, I'd really like to disagree with that outrageous claim, but I've read ahead, and dude, now I'm as sad about this shizzle as you are...I mean, just how low can this Council go?-Ed)...well, at least as low as their collective complicity re the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up...(fair enough-Ed)...

As a Cancer survivor (twice) I am absolutely rabid about how these deeply corrupted Council-founded machinations have insinuated themselves upon such a serious issue...to try and hijack Cancer fundraisers is truly sickening...no-one would be surprised to read me say that 'survivor guilt' has been a big part of my existence since 2004/05 when 8 months of Chemo and a month of Radiotherapy 'killed' a massive 16cm x 12cm Lymphoma tumour right in the centre of my chest, a huge tumour that I had no right to survive, and that this 'guilt'...(amongst other guilts, eg, that sense of having failed your own child and all kids at St Martins, etc-Ed)...indeed, one amongst layers of guilt that collectively has driven me to pursue where others will not, and with a commitment that others cannot or will not...(yeah yeah, I'm pickin' up on that-Ed)...and it's been unquestionably a big part of starting and continuing with this 'ere blog...

I am technically a Leukemia survivor in that Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma is a 'blood Cancer' and is included in the Cancers covered/dealt with by the Leukemia Foundation, and I/my family have regularly donated to the Leukemia Foundation...I was shocked to hear that the Leukemia Foundation had opened an office here in Mt Gambier...(particularly when everyone else is closing/leaving/left/whatevs, and the much bigger Cancer Council doesn't even have an office here-Ed)...well exactly...I was stunned but not surprised to learn that Sam Rothall was employed to run this office...(oh dear-Ed)...and was immediately thinking that this is just more jobs-for mates in the same vein as Biddie Tietz (Shearing) being appointed to the Regional Development Australia Tourism gig, and several similar local 'appointments'...but I was truly furious when I saw where this was all headed...

This karaoke event is a continuation of the 'Pop-ups Propaganda Agenda', namely, forcing events onto the Rail Lands site to try and justify it, and do so by sickeningly, cynically utilising the delicate and emotive issue of Cancer...it's a bloody disgrace...how much has this nasty stunt cost Ratepayers? and how much of what's raised goes toward the costs and wages re this office? and all in the name of trying to justify the embarrassing, corruption-riddled joke that is the Rail Lands...get down there and have a good hard look at exactly what $5million doesn't buy, eg, cover from the weather be it hot/cold/windy/wet/whatevs, more than 2 toilets, a Sound Shell, a renovated Station, etc...(safe, code-standard pool fencing for the $700,000 Death Pit of Stupidity, that 6ft deep 'drainage pond' thingy-Ed)...indeed...and now yet more Ratepayers' money is being burned as Council crassly forces events onto that site to try and justify the shonky works they have actually done...(palm trees? really?!-Ed)...I know, I know...  

Can't tell you how sick I am of seeing the same names bob-up in almost everything Council-related, and one of those names is 'Rothall'...(I think you just did mate-Ed)...oh yeah, hmmm...anyhoos, almost everything and/or many of the other very odd Shenanigans that have been covered in this 'ere blog...(I believe you mate-Ed)...believe me, don't believe me, whatevs, I'm irrelevant to the debate because there is no debate because it's the undeniable reality that y'all can look-up for y'allselves. not least of all throughout this 'ere blog...but here's a quick guide...that bizarre debasco (a debacle tail-ending a fiasco, at velocity) with the housing (15 homes) in Harrald St that was meant to be Public Housing, or at least partly, but was reported in TBW as fact as being the 'un-official campus' for 45 students from the James Morrison Jazz Academy, etc, etc...(your joking, right?-Ed)...nope, SMB Civil were involved, that's a Rothall business...(strewth-Ed)...strewth indeed...and when that whole thing went ballistically pear-shaped, I get blamed for pointing at it just moments before it all falls over!...and even after I say that I don't know what the shreck's goin' on...all I did was point at it!...gourd knows...

And then there's the Main Corner contract...Councillor Des Muttons' son Lachlan (Sorrentos) was the original Leasee...(wow, there's some amazing corruption right there mate!-Ed)...what? amazing that Council would spend over $12million of Ratepayers money on the needless development of a Commercial Function Facility complete with $1m commercial kitchen, then accept the then Mayor, now Councillor Steve Perryman, and Councillor Des Mutton's son as the only 2 Tenders for running this Ratepayer-funded facility? how is that surprising from this corrupt body?...and then Council gave Mutton Jnr free rent if you don't mind, and eventually a 'peppercorn lease'...the basic reality is that Ratepayers fund that 'lease' because all of the running costs associated with the Main Corner 'Lease' are paid by Ratepayers, eg, utilities, with minimal return nowhere near the costs...that 'lease' was then transferred directly to Sam Rothall at a 'closed' Council meeting in November 2012...SMB Civil were apparently also involved with the Rail Lands...and now this...    
I am rabid that the same small group of Councillors and their mates and the other vested interests continue to network each other into these positions/facilities/Tenders/whatevs...the same names over and over...and in this case, this sickly cynical manipulation of Cancer as a vehicle for this Council agenda of forcing 'events' onto the Rail Lands, it leaves me just apoplectically sad, just disappointed and depressed beyond anger...pare-back the layers of emotive manipulation and follow the dots my friends, follow them back to whence they came and see for yourselves the truth of what I'm saying re the fundamental motivations and related machinations re this karaoke thingy...

I unreservedly apologise to Ms Louise Adams that 1) I've even mentioned her at all on this 'ere apparently "notorious" blog, and 2) that she has been dragged into this nasty, twisted, corrupt manipulation of such an important and emotive issue as Cancer...(but that's why they've gone with the Cancer stuff, to punch people's emotive buttons-Ed)...absolutely Ed, and I'd vehemently argue that Ms Adams wouldn't have the faintest idea of the deeper realities, why would she? and that she has exactly the right intent and motivation, genuine motive and intent and generosity of spirit, and it's her celebrity and her genuosity that others seek to misappropriate for their own deeply cynical and twisted ends...(dude! bring the heavy vibes man, why don't you-Ed)...I know mate, I know...(but I do like "genuosity", which I'm assuming means 'genuine generosity of spirit'-Ed)...intuitively and correctly assumed Ed, well done...

Genuosity:...even an average musician's forgotten more about music than I'll ever know, and I didn't watch X Factor (further apologies to Ms Adams) so's I've not actually seen her perform other than ad-grabs re the show (sorry again Ms A), but I don't need to see nuthin' more than I have to say unequivocally that Ms Adams don't need no-ones' help to achieve what her own hard work has self-evidently provided, namely genuine talent, talent and a sense of a person with genuosity...and kudos too to her husband that he face-nuded to help raise funds the other night re a family with a very ill young child...again, this is genuosity...("face-nuded"?-Ed)...yeah, shaved his 'Ned Kellyish' beard off...(right, wow, that's a lotta' beard-Ed)...indeed...purely per chance, I was in that pub that night, having a familial pig-out, got the fundraiser raffle tickets to prove it, and I chose to not impose myself because of the very agenda identified above, 'Greater Good'...(well there's a time and a place, and that clearly ain't it-Ed)...exactly, and exactly why I won't be going anywhere near the karaoke thingy...(I should hope not-Ed)...

As a Lymphoma survivor whom had to shave-off a self-shedding head of 2ft long hair after mucho Chemo in August 2004, this whole hair-cutting/head-shaving/face-nuding gig leaves me feeling mildly depressed, ya' know? as one who had to go The Chop after CHOP (the treatment regime I had) in an empty attempt to pre-empt and circumvent The Drop, I do feel a bit like, 'why lose it if yous don't have to?'...beyond that, even if I find it mildly confronting, one always genuinely appreciates what others genuinely do try to help when/how/where they can...cheers y'all...it is this, the genuosity of The Most, that really gets me riled re the crassly corrupted agenda of The Few as at play here...it's a bloody disgrace...     

In closing, the Greens Senator Scott Ludlum was just on the ABC/BBC World Service calling for a national Independent Commission Against Corruption...(what difference would it make?-Ed)...another excellent statement question Ed, geez you're gettin' good at this...(cheers-Ed)...

Anyhoos, here's a very quick post re the latest gem from the wacky pen of that zany doyen of journalistic integrity, Graham Greenwood, and his blushing, gushing love affair with Mt Gambier City Council CEO Mark McShane...(hahahhhaahahaahahaa-Ed)...come on mate, it's not a bad title, but it ain't that funny either...(ahahaaha...no, I...ahahaaaaa-Ed)..."no, I" what?...(no, sorry, ahaaa, no, I wasn't laughing at your title, ahaaa-Ed)...my title? you laughing at the articles title? I agree that's pretty laughable...(well yes, I am, but I was just reading the bit where he says that he's been Council's greatest critic, and I just about wet myself whilst falling off the chair laughing-Ed)...sorry what?...(no no, I did fall off the chair but I didn't actually wet myself-Ed)...no no not that, the bit about "Council's greatest critic"...(what, haven't you read it yet?-Ed)...well no, I was just doing the preamble stuff, apologies, greetings and such, and I have read the title but not the article proper yet, strewth, the title's bad enough...(ohhh wait mate, wait 'til you read it-Ed)...certainly, where's that copy?...(attached just below-Ed)...cheers...

(What's with "the equally moralless The Border Watch" bit? I thought y'all were besties now, what with that last TBW article re your Court stuff being ok I thought you said-Ed)...Ed, after what TBW has done to me with relentlessly and deliberately erroneous reportage re this massively important Court case, one still-only-partially correct article that gives some exposure to this extraordinary case where-in this state's Weatherill Labor government is trying to shut-down blogging, and not just this 'ere epic tome but all blogging, amongst all that, one vaguely reasonable article is all but nought...(yeah, fair enough...and you haven't even mentioned TBW's extraordinarily biased conduct re Election coverage, their complicit support for the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up, etc, etc, and particularly their unwavering protection of that rankly corrupt piece of work, former Member for Mt Gambier Rory McEwen-Ed)...if you'll let me finish Ed...

As my esteemed colleague has alluded, The Border Watch has many very pointed questions to answer across a range of deeply concerning issues, and this farcical attempt to address the rank corruption of MGCC and TBW is so screamingly obvious as a fundamental strategy of crooked operators...simple really, identify the issue to be white-washed, ignore the realities, and attempt to excuse it away...but for Graham Greenwood to say that he's been "council's biggest critic" is just a rude joke...(and we normally love a rude joke-Ed)...indeed, but not when it's a rude joke masking the complicitly corrupt realities...(yeah, fair call-Ed)...and as for the dribble about being in Council's "top 10 list" of enemies, honestly...(dude, whatta' joke! if he's in the 10 it's as no.10 and you're the first 9!-Ed)...cheers Ed, one does what one can...

I simply cannot believe Gray Gray refers to himself as "community watchdog"...(well believe it buddy-Ed)...and then immediately follows that with a list of just some of the many issues where TBW has acted to protect Council...it's a shreckin' joke that just keeps gettin' ruder...particularly on the Main Corner stuff, TBW has time and again provided Council with a platform for explaining away outrageous cost blow-outs and missing money, etc...TBW's coverage of the Rail Lands debasco is just another manifestation of this collusion...(and then there's the rank corruption of the Old Hospital demolition-Ed)...indeed...basically it doesn't matter what Council project/issue is being covered, TBW has got their back, making sure that nothing ever really happens or is resolved... 

And the question everyone's asking me, 'who voted for this clown to continue as CEO?'...(as far as questions go, that's a beaut-Ed)...ain't it though? and the answer is self-evident, mighty Marky Mark McShenanigans was royally re-appointed by the same rankly corrupted vested interests that gave him the possie in the first place...it's just business as usual on the rankly corrupt Mt Gambier City Council...(ya' know, what I don't understand is how it is that you can slam-down such specific statements about the corruption on MGCC, and not once or even occasionally, but over and over, time and time again, so often it could be a subtitle for this 'ere blog, and yet MGCC just sit there and take it...why aren't they sueing-you-stupid for what must surely be outrageously incorrect allegationings here-in?...I mean, if some dirty hippy was making false allegations about me, I'd be goin' them for sure, not least of all to shut them up-Ed)...unless of course there's so much ugly truth involved that Council don't want it nowhere near the Courts...(well yes, that was my next thought-Ed)...well think it now...

I note that Gray Gray specifically mentions the period 2002-04 and then former CEO Greg Muller, the period when TBW began it's long history of being absolutely complicit in covering-up the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse issue, followed by the corrupt CEO Greg Muller who was absolutely busted for taking $345,000 from the Main Corner project in the construction phase...(ah yeah, and then TBW white-washed that fraud/theft/misappropriation/whatevs you shreckin' want to call it, with a farcical front page about the sudden and unexpected need for 'window/earthquake insurance', and 'fire-rating', etc, all stuff that should have been already covered, and then adding-up to only a third of what was missing...whatta' joke!-Ed)...indeed Ed, it all just 'went away'...(very convenient for some-Ed)...well quite...

I just can't be bothered with the rest of this farcical article...(a 'farticle' if you will-Ed)...I think I will Ed, the rest of this 'farticle' is just mindless gushing blather failingly attempting to redefine as fine...(just fine-Ed)...the realities of the collusion between Council and TBW...and to say that Ratepayers are "truly lucky" and "can be thankful" for Mark McShane as CEO, well that's just straight-out offensive...The Border Watch's relationship with Council has always been and continues now as one of bipartisan collusion, nothing else...

And while we're on the subject, didn't TBW also absolutely ruthlessly hold Grant King to account for the collapse of Green Phone and the $3-4million that just 'disappeared'...(more sarcasm?-Ed)...well given that that money is still 'missing' and Grant King just walked away unchallenged straight into the positions of Regional Development Australia head and Health Advisory Council honcho, yes, that is clearly sarcasm...(oo I'm gettin' good at this-Ed)...indeed...

Reef-picking:...fascinating ABC Local Radio story this morning where-in it was discussed the illegality of Reef-picking, the practice of taking delicious critters, eg, molluscs, from Inter-tidal Zones, areas of reef, etc, exposed at low tides...legally it's considered very similar to poaching...apparently people have been charged in recent times, and have received hefty fines in the $10,000s...(but wasn't Kirby Shearing, husband of RDA Tourism person and former MGC Councillor Biddie (Tietz) Shearing, wasn't he doing exactly that, only he is/was actually taking groups down to the sea to do exactly that?-Ed)...indeed he is/was Ed, and as you say, is/was charging people to go on these li'l illegal expeditions, and this has been discussed previous on the ABC, as mentioned in this 'ere blog some time back...given the definable criminality involved, I'm sure that SAPol and/or Fisheries will be right on to The Kirbster and slamming him with a massive fine...(sarcasm?-Ed)...seething sarcasm Ed...(ha, imagine the public embarrassment of the RDA's Tourism person, their spouse gettin' done for this-Ed)...which is exactly why it ain't gunna' happen...

Brief Court Post

Hello availees one and y'all and welcome to a very brief post re my Court case...please find attached right just there the article from yesterday's The Border Watch, Wednesday 3rd February 2016...

Given that I've given TBW such a thorough bloggy kickin' on so many occasions, it is absolutely incumbent of me to be acknowledging this very positive article...(ooo, that's gotta' hurt-Ed)...well not really, I'm genuinely pleased to see this case/issue get any attention/reportage, and indeed the attention/reportage it deserves, because ultimately it's not about me, I'm just the bunny currently in the Legislative Headlights, these are genuine issues of Freedom of Speech and Constitutional Law, etc, that must be handled ...(bunny? looks more like a very angry moose to me, possibly a bear-Ed)...

For reasons I'll explain later, I'm not currently disposed to blog more today probably, but I did want to get at least something posted today...(well, at least we know what you've been upto this week-Ed)...well for about half an hour of it anyway, yes...anyhoos, whilst this article is a good place to start and does cover many of the points/issues raised/discussed, there are still several critical errors and important omissions that need to be addressed...(oh here we go, I thought you said you weren't going to put the boot into TBW this time!?-Ed)...if you'll let me finish Ed, there are mistakes and omissions, but given that 1) the hearing/"debate" went for 30-35 minutes, and 2) traipsed backwards and forwards across various issues of Constitutional Law, the conduct of my case by Prosecutions, etc, etc, as evidenced in the article itself, and 3) given the confusion between the Court and Prosecutions on so many issues, it's 4) hardly surprising indeed understandable indeed inevitable that the poor journalist has made a coupla' errors..

(Sorry, did you just apologise on behalf of a TBW journalist?-Ed)...well not apologise exactly, but try to identify the realities for everyone involved, and that is that it was a very circular, complex, and confusing "debate" for everyone involved...(well you seemed to do alright, you clearly weren't confused-Ed)...well thankyou Ed...(in fact, I thought you were a Monkey Genius-Ed)...high praise indeed, and yes, I was/am a bit proud of myself that I did so well...(high praise? is that when the mayonnaise goes off? what with Praise being a brand name for mayo here in Oz-Ed)...yeah nah, I get the joke, or what there is of it...moving on...

Just quickly 'cos I will cover it all again tomorrow, I note the descriptor of "intense debate" as being respectfully accurate in that it perfectly encapsulates the seriousness of the issue and the 'quality' of the discussion...it wasn't an argument or a dispute, it was an "intense debate" across issues of Constitutional Law and Free Speech, etc, as conducted between SAPol Prosecutions, the Court/Magistrate, and a large angry hippy...(get in my son-Ed)...an "intense debate" where said hippy repeatedly argued the Magistrate and the Prosecutions to a standstill, and if we were scoring it as an actual debate, was clearly a run-away winner...

Also, re the confusion, etc, of the SAPol Prosecutions woman (sorry, didn't catch her name properly), can I just quickly mention my 1) genuine and absolute empathy/sympathy for her in that her own side was betraying her by pushing her out into the firing-line almost entirely unprepared...not her fault...not being sanctimonious or facetious, etc, just identifying the harsh reality of 2) the gutless cowards who pushed her out there to cop that flak...and you can rest assured that in tomorrow's post I'm gunna' give those cowards such a blog floggin'...(and well deserved too from what I'm looking at-Ed)...I can be a very angry man Ed, but this sort of rank cowardice wrapped as it is in pro-paedophile corruption, that shizzle really punches my buttons...
