Still Angry But Feeling A Little Karma

Howdy Russia, Aotearoa (New Zealand), Poland, and Ukraine and welcome to TMGI...I know it's been 2 weeks again since I last posted, but having my usual problems with progressing this 'ere blog, shan't bore y'all with that specific crud, but it is a progressive problem that is exacerbated daily by simply trying to engage with this community of Mt Gambier, the media, etc, etc...regular availees will appreciate and understand how confronting it can be just coming to the keyboard because of what it is that is about to be...(do you mean the angry post that inevitably ensues, a post that is often as traumatically regressive as it is potentially positively progressive?-Ed)...yeah whatevs, at least I'm still trying...(and 800+ posts in, including 2 years of Court case directly related to this 'ere blog, and all the 'character assassination' stuff and abuse from Council and the Lutherans, etc, etc, after all that, still trying is still achieving...well that's what I reckon anyway-Ed)...cheers mate...

And sure, I have been struggling, but the truth be known, there surely is a thick streak of absolute self-indulgence on my part in the small parts of some days where-in I joyously indulge in some of the extraordinary things I've got goin' on in my life...(so it's not all a complete disaster then, is what you're sayin'-Ed)...exactly, gotta' lotta' shizzle goin' on, for sure, and I'd really rather nearly none of it existed, but it does, and I have genuine and deep concerns for South Australia as a community, including Mt Gambier, but I find it near impossible to come near this page and engage in a 'positive' way about the state of this State, because everywhere I look looks rooted, and that rootedness is firmly rooted in the institutionalised corruption that defines SA...(yay-Ed)...

And of course, being near Christmas, the Lutherans and Mt Gambier City Council are gushingly self-aggrandising all over WIN TV and The Border Watch and ABC Radio about the Lutheran/Council Christmas Day Lunch soiree at the Main Corner, for all the poor people and/or the lonely people, etc, etc...(charming-Ed)...absolutely Ed, and I'll maintain some balance along with the rage, by identifying that there are undoubtedly people involved who are genuinely generous and caring, etc...(didn't we call it 'genuosity' or something similiar?-Ed)...indeed, 'genuosity', good work Ed, and there are those people involved, for sure, but it's the fundamental reality of what's going on here that cannot be denied or ignored...and that reality is the crass, largely Ratepayer-funded, self-congratulation and self-promotion of rankly corrupt people deeply complicit in the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up...(and at The Main Corner no less-Ed)...what can I say?...(ummm, The Main Corner, itself a litany of MGCC corruption...you could say that-Ed)...regular availees of this 'ere blog will understand the blizzard of unpleasantness that this one simple paragraph summons...but I digress...

Karma Llama Down:...is a strange statement unless you're a fan of The Mighty Boosh (BBC TV) where-in zookeeper Howard once had cause to 'calm a llama down', but I'm borrowing that line with a very specific twist because, whilst I don't specifically disbelieve 'karma', I think we all need to take a couple of deep breaths and calm right-down about whether or not the following proves anything about anything, let alone that karma exists...(whaaa?-Ed)...2 months ago I saw a wallet lying in a driveway and went back because I sortts' knew that person and thought they'd dropped it getting the bins or shutting the gate, whatevs, so I turned my li'l car 'round and went back and picked it up...full of fifties clearly fresh from an ATM, turns out, $700 worth...(score!!!...I mean, ummm, they were lucky you found their wallet, even if it was empty at least they got their cards back, saved a lot of hassle and that...no?...errr, what? did you give it back?-Ed)...yes I did...(what, all of it?-Ed)...all of it...(dorrr what?-Ed)...not mine mate...(yeah I know, but, 700 bucks?...it's a lotta' money-Ed)...and that's the point...

Think of the few times I've had all my Disability Support Pension in cash and been on the way to pay bills, etc, and what if I'd have lost that money en route?...(yeah yeah, I know, I get it-Ed)...the wallet belonged to a friend/associate of the property owner (who wasn't home), the ID showing the person lived only streets away, so I took it 'round there...(what? it's not even your mates' money and you still handed it back?-Ed)...yeah, and the woman cried...(you bastard!-Ed)...they were tears of happiness you idiot...(yeah, I know that, I was talking about you handing back the money-Ed)...about 5 years ago, I found $350 right at the end of the check-out at Coles supermarket and handed it in to Coles, for the same reason, could have been someone's entire income for that week/fortnight/whatevs...(well cock-a-doodle-do, hip-hooray for you champ-Ed)...found $5 in the carpark the other day, kept that...(you outlaw you...and that's your idea of karma is it? $5 for $700? well done karma, I'll have the cash thanks-Ed)...not finished yet...

Coupla' days later the wallets' actual owner lobbed at my abode and handed me $70, and used one of my favourite words in his explanation of that amount, "a tythe", being 'a tenth' and generally refers to feudal land ownership stuff and what medieval peasants would pay as rent to their local lord/lordette, effectively one tenth of the lands total production...(fascinating-Ed)...anyhoos, this person thanked me profusely, praised my honesty, etc, and used my second fav word to boot!...exactly no more or less than I would expect and/or consider deserved...also, ran into the driveway owner recently whom said they'd heard and immediately knew exactly who 'Nick'  was, etc, and that the walletee was extremely lucky because I was "the one in a million who would have returned that money", etc, etc...(people saying nice things to you, nice things about you to you, how did that feel?-Ed)...is that what that was?...(so karma is $70 instead of $700? so what? and I thought you said that $70 was just an appropriate response/reward/whatevs? that ain't karma-Ed)...still not finished...

Last weekend, went for a stroll 'round part of the Crater Lakes Precinct, as I try to do occasionally, as knees best allow, and was halfway driving home, going up to the Frew Pk roundabout at 50kmh, when there was a 'tap-tap-tapping' outside the car...I briefly thought it was a motorcyclist/cyclist I'd somehow not seen and somehow cut-off or some such, but quickly realised that I was in clear air with no-one even vaguely near me...getting to the roundabout, I noticed an empty space on the passenger seat where my tatty ol' 'bumbag' should have been sitting...(oh no!-Ed)...yeah, and I was right in the roundabout when it occurred to me that that tapping was the plastic latch of the bumbag as it fell-off the car 100m back...distracted, I'd left it on the roof as I got back in my li'l car post-stroll...(nooo! what happened?-Ed)...pulled over straight after the roundabout and got out expecting to see bumbag, phone, cards, cash, etc, strewn about the road 140m back, probably being repeatedly run-over...(and? and?-Ed)...and hoping that just maybe that tapping was the bag caught in the little fin/wing thingy on the back of the car...(was it?-Ed)...nope...

Bizarrely, the short end of the undone strap, that clip-end had wedged in the channel on the roof where roof-racks go, and at such an angle that the slipstream wedged it tighter and across the open bag itself, effectively pinning it all to the roof...(noooo!-Ed)...yep, wedged quite firmly in place...(and the phone, cards, cash, etc?-Ed)...all still in the open main pocket, as I said, held shut by the strap across it...(wow-Ed)...I know, don't reckon you could do that if you tried...(absolutely...and I can see how you might make a brief karmic connection between returning someone's wallet, cash intact, and your own bag staying stuck to the roof like that-Ed)...for approx 2kms, right through the middle of town...(wow-Ed)...and dear availees, obviously I'm asking that you accept that these 2 things happened, but there you go, they did...(man you have some random shizzle goin' on-Ed)...ain't that the truth...(in fact, this whole post is a series of very random paragraphs-Ed)...yeah, just ain't feelin' humorous and/or positive at the moment and this is the best I can manage...(fair enough, we'll put it all in that 'Still Trying' file, yeah?-Ed)...

So there y'all have it...does karma exist, and if so, do these otherwise random and unrelated incidents go anyway to proving it?...just sayin'...and of course there's Alan Packer who works at the llama processing and packaging plant and on his tax return describes himself as Al Packer, Alpaca Packer...(into the 'Still Trying' file?-Ed)...oh yes please...

Laugh I Nearly:...(I didn't, I just about spat...and I mean like literally, like a very pissed-off alpaca-Ed)...now come on...(alright, well not actually literally, but actually definitely metaphorically-Ed)...and fair enough, because at the last Mt Gambier City Council meeting (November 2016)  there was yet another hilarious Steve Perryman 'Accommodation Agreement' 'Conflict Of Interest' re his motel/hotel that saw Councillor Steve mate...(maaate-Ed)...leave the Chamber for the vote by Council to pay the AFL to hold a pre-season match in Mt Gambier...(into the 'Still Trying' file?-Ed)...that's not a joke mate...(seriously? are you sure? I mean, why is MGCC paying anything to the $$$billion business that is the AFL?-Ed)...I know, something like $8,000 directly and a further $5k 'In-kind' support, apparently for works at the chosen ground, etc...(and another AACOI where-in former Mayor and current MGC Councillor Steve Perryman leaves the room if not the building?-Ed)...indeed, yet another one...(and is this AA with a specific team or just the AFL in general?-Ed)...dunno'...

(Cr Stevo needs to get himself and his motel business to AAA-Ed)...AAA?...(yeah, Accommodation Agreements Anonymous, he's clearly addicted-Ed)...oo oo, nearly forgot, that's exactly the hilarious joke that fellow Cr Des Mutton unleashed in Stevo's direction as Stevo shuffled out of the Chamber, namely, 'you have so many conflicts with that motel Steve, you'll have to get rid of it'...and whilst there was ample laughter about the Chamber...(unbelievable!-Ed)...Stevo didn't look quite so amused...(probably concerned some smart-arse bastard 'll write it up on their hilarious blog-Ed)...and it's a concern well founded sir!...(and a concern well realised sir!-Ed)...and what about Cr Des's style, wow, calling-out someone else on MGCC about their corruption, even jokingly...(I was gunna' say, wow-Ed)...Cr Des, who's son Lachlan was the original leasee of the Ratepayer funded The Main Corner, for free mind you, and who's grandson was paid $10,000 by MGCC for 'consultation' on solar panels, etc, etc...

A Complete HAC Job:...because even worse than Cr Stevo's relentless corruption and Cr Des' extraordinary hypocrisy/self-righteousness, was the conduct of Cr Penny Richardson, until recently MGCC Deputy-Mayor and also recently appointed 'Chair' of the Hospital Advisory Council...(didn't you say that the HACs are purely a corrupted construct designed and implemented by the wholly corrupted Rann/Weatherill Labor state government to officially separate the government/department/Minister from any official accountability to Ms Joanne Average patient person?-Ed)...absolutely, HACs are entirely about creating a wall of dissolved responsibilities and pressure valve-type 'outs' for senior Health officials...(and you also said that the appointment of Grant King as Mt Gambier HACs original head honcho proved exactly how corrupted this HACs process/structure is-Ed)...ones' corruption defines the other, you pick which is which...

For weeks Mt Gambier Hospital has been frequently featured in the local media re claims of dysfunction and disorder, etc, as apparently exposed by doctors/nurses/staff/whatevs, and profusely commented upon by Liberal Member for Mt Gambier, Troy Bell, amongst others...too many issues to cover here, but it's the actions of card-carrying Labor supporter and HACS Chair Cr Richardson in response to these reports that is so unbelievable, namely, to take into Council's full meeting of November 15th 2016, a double-sided A4 manifest/list of contradictory statements, a list that supposedly refutes every criticism and dismisses all concerns, etc, and then hand that list out...I'll post it...   

Tomorrow: A Healthy Slice Of Cynicism

(How'd you get that paperwork then? got a deep-throated mole in Council?-Ed)...no, I said, Cr Richardson handed them out mid-meeting to Councillors, staffers, and us 2 publics...(how is that appropriate? I thought there was no politics in local government?-Ed)...yes Ed, in exactly the same way that the Church and the State are separate, and the 3 branches of government, Legislative, Executive, and Judiciary are all independent of each other...(well look, I don't see how rancid sarcasm is going to help at this juncture!-Ed)...not my fault mate when reality and rancid sarcasm are indistinguishable from one another...(damn you sir!-Ed)...as indeed are we all Ed, as indeed are we all...

And tomorrow is obviously about the disastrous if quite deliberate collapse of Public Health provision at the hands of the rankly corrupt Rann/Weatherill Labor government, but with a particular focus on the farcical 'investigation' of Mt Gambier Hospital that was held in response to these complaints, reports, comments, etc...(how farcical exactly?-Ed)...public submissions are to be submitted to the Mt Gambier HAC, who will then decide what gets through...(but I thought you said that HACs are all about stuff not getting through, no?-Ed)...no, that's my exact point...(oh dear gourd, I get it, nothing gets through-Ed)...bingo...

Trial And Error Part II - Precedent And President

Yo' ma' homies in Ukraine, Germany, Netherlands, and Romania ...and of course the good ol' USofA...ain't for me to be tellin' y'all what's your business, and regular availees will back me (I hope) when I state that I'm tryin' real hard to be all about sayin' what I've got to say and why I gotta' say it, yeah? but not about tellin' others what to do...and there is a difference...but dear USofA, WTF mofos?...(you are so White dude-Ed)...from Gee Doubleya to Barack and back...(but not just back mate, back and well beyond-Ed)...what he said...from what I've seen from my distant post is not something I can endorse...I cannot and will not support Donald Trump, whatever he calls himself...I believe that what we have witnessed is the fundamental flaw of Voluntary Voting resulting in the election of an undeserving man, and not least of all because his opponent was a woman, regardless of how popular or not she was/is...

And I ain't no saint and I ain't just a sinner, but Donald Trump is an arse; an arrogant, bigoted, privileged, sexist, racist hypocrite; a pathological liar who exists in the pseudo-reality that he creates around himself...(so what happens when he bankrupts the USofA, does he just go borrow $$$squillions off his banker mates who can't afford to go bust if he renigs on the loans they've already made him, and then go start a new country? bull-shit!-Ed)...steady Ed, but a relevant point...(and what about the rank misogyny shit about groping women, and 'she's not attractive enough to grope', etc? what opinion do women have of themselves in the USofA that a single one would vote for this?-Ed)...another good point Ed...(and the inciting violence stuff, even against Hillary Clinton were she to become President?-Ed)...I know mate, I saw it...(well apparently millions in the USofA didn't, mate-Ed)...well clearly enough, enough millions did hear it, heard it and then voted for it...

The 2016 USofA election is a perfect example of Stone-Age psychology and strategy and with the exact same outcome...(what, stampede the herd by scaring it senseless, baying and snapping relentlessly at it's heels, and then run it right off a cliff?-Ed)...yep, exactly that...everything that's wrong with your life is someone else's fault, especially that person there who looks different or thinks different...(persecute the heretic!-Ed)...and of course, it's way easier to be selfish, insular, bigoted and uncaring than it is to be respectful, empathetic and share a little bit of your vast wealth...(global economic strategies/theories/conspiracies/whatevs aside, I don't understand how it is/was that Donald can stand there over and over again and accuse everybody else he is/was opposed to, accuse them of being exactly what he also is, and nobody really ever held him to account for it-Ed)...other than in comedy sketches...(exactly!-Ed)...but certainly not in the ballot...

And it's a lose-lose for the vast majority of global citizens who look at this entire election process as a bit of a running joke, and the outcome as a laughable indictment of the entire population of the USofA...to start with second, many people do look at it in that light, that it's a bad joke with a laughable outcome that will isolate the USofA from the rest of the planet, but firstly and worse-tly, those whom voted for Trump apparently consider that isolation to be a positive thing, it's what they've voted for...anyhoos, it is what it is and what will be will be, and I'm just a person who cannot say that I respect the authority of Donald Trump because, well, because it's Donald Trump...if it's any consolation, I don't believe that Donald is entirely representative of the USofA and that it's still a country chockers-full of halfway decent people, no better or worse than I...and then there was this...

Court In The Act:...but unable to specifically identify it (the Act) because that would identify the Authority involved, etc, etc, and because this post is strictly about what happened in Court re my trial, I'm going to get super-dignified and on-task so as to be appropriately respectful of issues of 'Contempt Of Court', etc...so that's the end right there to sarcasm and commentary, etc, at least until we all get to 'Tomorrow'...

As per the last post, my official actual trial started on Wednesday 2nd November 2016, following 22 months of Pre-Trial Conferences, adjournments, the case being moved to Adelaide then back again to Mt Gambier, etc, etc...please refer previous post for more detail, but basically, it all kicked-off about 1000hrs on 02/11/2016 with about 45-50 minutes of establishing trial procedures, etc, then I was required to enter a plea to each of the 19 'counts'...so that gets us to about 1100hrs when SAPol Prosecutions started trying to 'Amend' several of the 'counts' because there were "issues" with them...there was lengthy discussion between Her Honour Teresa Anderson and SAPol Prosecutor Batten, resulting in a 'recess' of 30 minutes (at 1140hrs), which HH told SAPol Batten to utilise to sort out the 'Charge Sheet' (or the 'counts')...

I returned for the 1210hrs re-start, but SAPol returned at 1240hrs, a full hour later, with a completely differently formatted and freshly photo-copied 'Charge Sheet', covered in hand-scribbled notes and flouro-pen highlighting...at the re-commencement, HH identified "issues" with several other 'counts', there was further lengthy debate, and HH called 'lunch hour' at 1310hrs...we all returned at 1410, where-upon there was continued discussion re the 'Amending Counts' stuff, and I stated that I was very concerned 1) to see SAPol even attempt these 'Amendments', particularly given that 2) HH was already talking about refusing SAPol's request to "completely change" (HH's words) one of the 'counts'...after about 30mins of this, HH had no choice but to call an adjournment at 1445hrs...

So Day One, 02/11/2016, ran from 1000hrs to 1445hrs, with 90 minutes for breaks, 30mins just waiting for SAPol, and 1hr30mins of SAPol 'Amending', or trying to 'Amend' 10 of the 19 'counts'...please note, again, how The Border Watch article (just below) skips right-over this huge chunk of the proceedings re SAPol 'Amending' stuff, skips over it with a fundamentally incorrect paragraph (please see previous post for more detail) whilst constantly stating that all this was "to assist Fletcher" and "give Fletcher a chance", etc...TBW have jumped from 1100hrs to the 1445 adjournment, time entirely consumed with SAPol's multiple attempts to 'Amend' multiple charges, and have then said it was about helping me...

And at the adjuornment, HH asked SAPol and I if HH could read the 100 documents that I had provided SAPol and HH to support my frequently stated position/belief that the entire situation was/is a "political persecution" motivated by the contents of this 'ere blog, and as already evidenced by me having my very own SAPol 'Operation Baritone' since February 2014, my home being 'raided' on May 7th and 8th 2014, the failure to 'Charge' or 'Summons' or notify me in anyway prior to my 'case' starting in Mt Gambier Court on February 3rd 2015, and the 18 'hearings/sittings/Pre-Trial Conferences/whatevs since then, etc, etc...HH has acknowledged, and I feel ratified, my repeated assertions re "political persecution", and directed me to prepare a 'pre-defense'* of "Abuse Of Process", and further modified that at the last Pre-Trial Conference on October 11th 2016 to "Malicious Prosecution"...                        (*my term for doing this AOP/MP stuff first, and then if the trial proceeds after that, then it's prosecution case followed by defense, etc as per a regular trial)  

SAPol challenged "the relevance" of these 100 documents, but agreed to HH reading them that afternoon, and so it was we adjourned...and there were to be witnesses and there were to be more days, etc, and all that may well yet happen, probably/possibly in March 2017, but it didn't quite work out as organised for Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th November, because at the re-commencement of proceedings at 1000hrs 03/11/2016, HH "disqualified herself from hearing the case", as reported in TBW on 04/11/2016, also attached below...TBW then acknowledges that HH thanked me for my co-operation, and the issue of 'abuse of process'...and here I get conflicted because TBW have reported fairly accurately what happened, but have completely failed to report why, and this is a huge omission given the outcome...

It is an irrefutable fact that as of 1445hrs on Wednesday afternoon November 3rd 2016, my trial was moving forward, but at 1000hrs on Thursday Her Honour withdrew from the trial, and it all ground to a halt until later this month, and then on into 2017...it is also fact that in that time-frame, between 1445hrs on 02/11/2016 and 1000hrs on 03/11/2016, Her Honour read my 100 documents (or at least part there-of) that I maintain fully support my position/belief re "political persecution"...so it was all clear sailing, albeit through the quagmire of SAPol's multiple 'Amendments', but still set to continue at 1000hrs next morning, but didn't...it must be noted that HH did not specifically identify those 100 documents and/or any other specific reason for 'disqualifying' herself, but HH was also in the difficult position that having 'self-disqualified' it was no longer appropriate for HH to comment as to why, as HH explained...

Due to this 'self-disqualifying non-commentary', if I were to offer an opinion on this sequence of events and the motivations and the reason for the 'disqualification', etc, it is purely my opinion and therefore I could run into problems/issues with 'Contempt Of Court'...not sure, but I think that's potentially problematic stuff...it is also true that, whilst the chronology and veracity of these discussions and events re my 100 documents and the stalled trial, etc, is all factually exempt from 'COC', it is potentially possible that there were other, possibly external, and/or even unrelated issues that motivated HH's decision to 'self-disqualify'...I cannot say because I do not know...

I can, however, say again as stated as fact just above, one day we're going forward and next day we're not, and that that's not just what happened relative to me standing there self-representing in the Mt Gambier Court, but it's also a series of fundamentally solid truths...all's well on Wednesday, HH reads my 100 documents, next day HH 'self-disqualifies'...these are un-challengeable truths, in their correct sequence, but are they strictly connected?...in that strictly factual context, I cannot answer that question other than to offer my 'opinion' of the situation...(I'm very confused-Ed)...yeah, mate, I appreciate your patience, hangin'-back respectfully like that and not interjecting and stuff...(it ain't easy ya' know!-Ed)...I could see you were near bustin' there a coupla' times, and I greatly appreciate your restraint...(could we do a post about Mt Gambier City Council or somethin', ya'know? something I can get involved with, what with my rapier wit and scintillating repartee, my informed intellectual discourse and pithy observation, my...-Ed)...maybe later...

Trial And Error

Howdy Ireland, Aotearoa (New Zealand), Greece, and Yemen, and welcome to a rather lengthy but still somewhat stunted post re the ****** ****** that is my stuff for the ******* ******* ***** of 'talking about stuff' on this 'ere blog...and having said that I'm not sure that I can even say that given that I think we're still technically 'at trial' and therefore I probably cannot/should not make comments specifically about the trial process, which is the '***' stuff...(but what if you're not actually commenting on the trial per se, but rather the extraordinary ************ of SAPol (police) Prosecutions and their ***-******** contempt for the Court processes? ahhh, you're doin 'it to me now!-Ed)...mate, sorry, I honestly don't know exactly, so's that's all I'm going to say...and whilst I believe any 'observations' or 'opinions' are self-evidently proven just below, even saying that may be me somehow being 'in Contempt of Court', so, again, that's all I'm going to say, because, without being facetious, I am strictly trying to illustrate the problems I now have/am having with commenting without actually commenting...anyhoos...

Magistrate Anderson did try to explain this to me as Her Honour withdrew from hearing the trial (1010hrs, Day Two, Thursday 3rd November 2016), but as I said at one point the day before, 'ya' Honour, I ain't no lawyer, and you can teach Shakespeare to a monkey (me) but it's still just a monkey'...(what about agreeing with and/or complementing the Court/process/whatevs?-Ed)...errr, dunno' mate, sorry...(so what can you say with any confidence?-Ed)...as per HHs' direction, I can report factually what has happened in the Court, because it's 'open Court' with the media present, etc...(is The Border Watch 'in contempt of Court' for 'reporting' their own carefully Editorialised version of events, rather than the actual facts?-Ed)...interesting point Ed, because what TBW has done, yet again, is try to present a version that makes me the problem and only strays near the facts if it suits their 'Denigrate Nick Fletcher Agenda'...(well now there's a surprise!-Ed)...

This is the problem, yeah, that TBW's version of events is (to my limited understanding) technically 'contempt' because it's their 'opinion' about the proceedings, not a strictly factual recount...(I'm very confused-Ed)...and so am I, and so to that end, I'm going to try to avoid even vague 'commentary' re the trial, and stick to addressing the facts...so no "debasco", etc, and to that 'factual' end, please find attached the 2 TBW articles from Thursday 3rd November 2016 and Friday 4th November 2016, and as I say, these articles generally only bother the facts long enough to try and be critical of me...(please do explain-Ed)...and it pleases me to do so, so here we go...

Where Do I Start?:...(how's about with the most controversial and convoluted trial process to hit Mt Gambier?-Ed)...probably can't say "convoluted" either...(not even if we're only talking about the extraordinary saga of hearings that has proceeded the actual trial proper?-Ed)...orrr look, I dunno', so, again, I'm just going to err on the side of caution and just address the facts, and how they relate to the reportage in TBW, etc...and, in the interests of balance, I can not criticise TBW for failing to report accurately, without also acknowledging that this entire process has been and continues to be incredibly complicated and involved, so some errors/mistakes/confusion/whatevs from a part-time participant like a journo are inevitable...(but then there's TBW?-Ed)...but then there's TBW... 

Article 1:...opens with the vaguely accurate statement about the history of my case, but even then, it's only partially right, because this Court process started in February 2015, with a hearing that I wasn't even told about...(yeah, that's right, you weren't even Summonsed to your own hearing-Ed)...indeed, a fact that SAPol have conceded, verbally and in writing, without actually providing any sort of explanation...(except for that phone discussion back on March 4th 2016 when SAPol Prosecutions head honcho Andrew Paech stated that he had asked "someone" to Summons you, but that that un-named person had been 'unable to find you'-Ed)...yes, indeed, and I'm still waiting for an explanation as to how this came to be in Court without me being charged either...(so, you've not actually been 'charged', and yet somehow it's gone into Court, and then you're not even Summonsed, and that's just 'Hearing One'?-Ed)...and 18 'hearings' later I'm still waiting for some sort of explanation for both the 'non-charging' issue and the failure to Summons...(***...orrr hey! wtf? why can't I say '***'?...stop that-Ed)...sorry, mate, to make you the butt of the joke, but I am just trying to bring some humour to pointing-out again that the usual sarcasm-heavy patter between myself and Ed is possibly 'Contempt of Court' so's I'm heavily self-censoring instead...but I digress...

I remind availees that TBW repeatedly reported throughout 2015 that I had 'failed to attend' that first hearing on February 3rd 2015, despite the fact that the failure to Summons me was apparently addressed by Magistrate Foley during said first hearing and a 'new Summons' was issued for March 2015, etc...(and despite you writing to TBW, who then started reporting that you 'claimed' to have not been Summonsed, even though they knew it was true-Ed)...indeed...culminating in the oft repeated paragraph of the purest nonsense, eg, from TBW April 1st 2015;
           "The defendant previously failed to turn up for a court appearance on February 2.
            At the time his defense counsel said Mr Fletcher did not receive a summons for his
            appearance and was unaware he had to be in court."
and July 2nd 2015;
            "Fletcher was in the news on February 2 this year when he failed to turn up for a
             court appearance.
             At the time his defense counsel said the defendant did not receive a summons and was
             thus unaware of his court listing."
...(but how can you have a lawyer there if you don't know it's happening?-Ed)...ahhh, the real genius is I don't know how I did that, but apparently I did...(genius-Ed)...

Anyhoos, it's actually 22 months now...(well that's "more than a year", come on-Ed)...and the vast majority of that down to SAPol Prosecutions conduct...the "transfers" refers to my case being moved to Adelaide (with the obvious approval of both the Court and SAPol) because of the Constitutional issues involved, and again, I'm still waiting for Mr Paech to fulfill his undertaking of that phone call March 4th 2016 to explain how and why it was then moved back to Mt Gambier...(I'm so confused...are there Constitutional issues or not?-Ed)...well yes, apparently, but gourd knows what's happening there so let's not get bogged-down in that one right now, moving on...there have been many "adjournments" and "legal in-fighting" because I and/or my Legal Eagle has had to pursue SAPol for even basic documents, eg, it was Hearing 4 in May 2015 when SAPol finally handed across a pile of Affidavits, documents, etc, only minutes before the hearing started and I was 'directed' by the Court to enter a plea...(***...damn you-Ed)...sorry...and then it was moved to Adelaide, and then back again, and then we started effectively from scratch on February 2nd 2016...

I am Nicholas Francis Fletcher, guilty as charged, and I'm still just 49...(just-Ed)...and I have been forced to self-represent all year, for 8 hearings and almost nearly sort-of 2 days of actual trial...and we'll just pause there to note that I've been self-representing all year, with only some very limited and unofficial procedural advice/support, and sometimes some advice/direction from Her Honour, yet somehow I've managed to move this case to a point where I'm officially going SAPol et al for 'Malicious Prosecution', re Her Honour's specific direction to me on October 11th 2016...it is reported/quoted below as "abuse of process by prosecution"...

I don't know who has been 'long awaiting',but they'll be waiting a good while longer along with the rest of us for later this month, and then, possibly, for March 2017, when I'll face gourd knows how many actual 'counts' because all of that's up in the air as well...(***-Ed)...sorry...I know, but I'm still just addressing the facts, and this is where TBW's article starts to stray from factual account to opinionated agenda and therefore, to my mind, into the legal minefield of 'Contempt of Court'...

I did plead 'Not Guilty', but only in a context established at the hearing February 2nd 2016, where-in I refused to plead and/or tried to withdraw my original plea of May 2015, until the Constitutional issues were resolved, and Magistrate Anderson stated that if a defendant refuses to plead, then the Court enters a 'Not Guilty' plea on the defendant's behalf, etc...the latest TBW journo wasn't there on February 2nd 2016 and therefore couldn't possibly know that...I'm not sure though what the stuff about "questioning why he alone had been charged" is about...(I think it might be misquoting you about your repeated references to the many issues on this 'ere blog that SAPol et al have gone past to come get you instead, eg, they're ignoring the rank and rancid corruption of the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up-Ed)...well that would make sense, I have certainly made such statements repeatedly in numerous Pre-Trial Conference 'hearings'...well spotted...

Much of this first article appears to be gleaned from file material, material that is grossly inaccurate, eg, this journo stating stuff about what my Legal Eagles have and/or haven't done, is purely conjecture on this particular journo's part...I've not actually had official representation since the case was moved to Adelaide in June/July 2015, and I was concurrently denied Legal Aid funding...and I note at this point that not once have either the TBW reporter or the ABC reporter who occasionally rocks-up, neither have ever approached me to ask me my opinion or how I'm goin', or pose me a probing question or three...not nuthin', not once...(it's really quite bizarre-Ed)...seriously, what journo witnesses the effective collapse of this massive trial process, ie, 18+ 'hearings' across 22 months with dozens of people involved, at huge cost, re this "controversial blogger", etc, etc, what journo sees that happen right in front of them and then doesn't ask the focus of all the fuss what he thinks...(it's almost like they don't want to know-Ed)...isn't it though...        

The article then leaps from a statement of fact, where-in Her Honour quite rightly explained...(or at least attempted to-Ed)...explained the trial process to me, because as HH explained with TBW present, it is HH''s responsibility to ensure that both Defendant and Prosecutions get a fair go and a fair hearing...not my opinion, this is exactly what HH said, albeit paraphrased a bit...but from there, TBW then culls a massive slab of critical information about the lengthy negotiations between SAPol Prosecutions and HH as SAPol attempted to 'Amend' several of the 'counts'...this lengthy discussion involved at least 4 'counts', and led to HH directing SAPol to go sort it out during a 30 minute break at 1140hrs...SAPol came back a full hour later at 1240hrs with a new, freshly printed 'charge sheet' covered in hand-written notes with various bits highlighted with flouro pens...

Bottomline:...after 22 months of 'hearings' and after 34 months of SAPol 'Operation Baritone'...(strewth, 34 months, daaamn-Ed)...damn straight daaamn, SAPol 'Operation Baritone', my very own SAPol 'Operation' all about me, and the massive expenditure of person hours, etc, etc, etc, apparently started in February 2014...anyhoos, after 34 months of 'Operation Baritone' SAPol Prosecutions come to Court without having organised their 'charge sheet' correctly...as I understand it (via HH), SAPol should only have one 'alleged breach of the legislation' per 'count', not several 'counts' per 'count' as they currently have it, if you see what I mean...SAPol clearly stated that there should have been 60-70 'counts', but that they were aware that Courts didn't appreciate it when SAPol came to Court with long 'count' lists, and have therefore tried to reduce it to the 19 (paraphrase)...this discussion led to SAPol taking an hour to produce a new document, and then start talking about changing different 'counts' to the ones they were discussing before the break...(sorry what?-Ed)...well this is what I was saying about the very distorted way that TBW has reported this stuff, and is that 'Contempt'?...

Fact:...before the break, SAPol and HH were discussing problems with 'counts' 10, 17, and 18, and I think also 11, and after the break HH was actually asking SAPol about 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, and 9, and was clearly stating that there'd be no changing 10, and basically, if SAPol didn't pull 10 then HH was going to disallow it...HH said that the issue was that you "can't judge 2 offenses in the same complaint" and that specific to 10, SAPol were asking to change the actual charge, not just modify/rectify, and HH stated that "a new complaint cannot be laid"...these are scribbled quotes from my notes...

This all took us along to a 1 hour lunch break at 1310hrs...so thus far, on Day One of this critical trial, from a 1010hrs kick-off, HH 'attempted to assist' me for approx 30 minutes, spent several minutes noting the likelihood of further hearing dates, then I spent 10+ minutes pleading 'Not Guilty', but then it took from approx 1100hrs for the entire rest of the day to be taken-up with SAPol trying to sort out there 'charge sheet'...when we returned at 1410hrs, HH and SAPol continued to discuss the multiple 'counts' issues, and HH asked me if I was prepared/happy to continue with the 'Amended Counts', and I absolutely wasn't...as I stated to HH, 'I'm watching SAPol try to change half the charges and you're talking about chucking-out one already, and I don't know what's happening now, but I ain't happy about being required to plead to charges that SAPol then try to change', etc...and because I was effectively calling for it but not accurately identifying it, HH advised me that I could ask for an  adjournment, and asked me if I wanted that opportunity to consider the changes, and I said 'yes', and then HH duly did adjourn for the day, at 1445hrs...

No "deletion of an allegation in one of the charges" occurred, not even close...SAPol was trying to completely change 'count' 10  and HH stated 'no', but even that issue had not actually been resolved, and SAPol were trying to alter multiple other 'counts' totalling 10 of the stated 19 'counts'...because of this litany of problems with SAPol's 'charge sheet' the Court was forced to provide me my legal right for an adjournment...that adjournment was entirely the result of SAPol's actions re their own 'charge sheet', SAPol's actions left the Court/HH no choice...TBW have very carefully left out a huge chunk of critical info, drastically minimised what they have reported, and then tried to present it all as the Court doing me a favour...and I mean 'critical' in many of it's definitions, namely 1) very important to the issue/debate/whatevs, 2) the reality is self-evidently a criticism of the conduct of SAPol, and 3) it is potentially 'critically' damaging to SAPol's alleged case...
         
At this time HH asked SAPol Prosecutions if it was alright for Her Honour to read the 100 documents that I had provided SAPol and the Court re my 'Malicious Prosecution' argument...HH reasoned that the adjournment gave her several 'free' hours to start with it all, and that would help advance the review process re those documents...SAPol Prosecutions stated that they were contesting the relevance of the documents, but gave their okey-dokes, as did I, though I'm not sure I had a choice really given that I'd already provided those documents...whatevs, HH assured me that I'd still get a go the next day (Thursday) re explaining the relevance of the documents...TBW haven't reported this very important exchange at all...

And from there, yes, at the adjournment 1445hrs on Wednesday 2nd November 2016, the trial was expected to continue for at least Thursday and Friday, and multiple witnesses had been flown down from Adelaide specifically, etc, and as per HH's earlier explanations, there was potentially going to be further hearing days and almost certainly a further adjournment at the conclusion of evidence, etc, for HH to consider the many very complicated issues/aspects of this case...but then something happened between 1445hrs on Day One and 1010hrs on Day Two that brought the trial to a grinding halt as Magistrate Anderson 'disqualified herself'...

Apologies Again - Post Up Later Today

Dear availees, I'll explain my brief 'absence' and all my latest Court stuff later today...(can I do a quick spoiler now?-Ed)...sure, go on...(well dear availees, you remember how at the September 2016 hearing the Magistrate directed 'us' to get 'our' defense ready for the upcoming trial, and referred to that defense as being 'Abuse Of Process'?-Ed)...yeah, I was there...(well at the October 11th 2016 hearing, the Magistrate changed that to 'Malicious Prosecution'-Ed)...indeed...(and we ain't no lawyers with no book learnin' nor nuthin', but there's self-evidently a world of difference between 'Abuse Of Process' and 'Malicious Prosecution'-Ed)...absolutely...the first denotes some potential dodginess along the journey and possibly inappropriate intent in starting that journey at all, but the second clearly denotes that that journey was commenced with 'malicious' intent...

As a layperson, I would and will argue that the mere fact that we're where we are with this 'persecution', going to trial with me being instructed to prepare my defense of 'Malicious Prosecution', that fact that we're even going to that 'malicious' space after 21 months of 'trial', that that alone confirms that that is exactly what has happened...and when I stated that I'll have a pile of paperwork 'a foot high', the Magistrate just ordered that I provide appropriate copies to the Court and SAPol Prosecutions...

Long story short, after 21 months and as many hearings, when my bizarre case, my "pro-paedophile political persecution" finally goes to trial next month, the Court has directed that I am to go first and present my defense as stated to me, namely, 'Malicious Prosecution'...and I've achieved this extraordinary turn-around whilst self-representing against SAPol Prosecutions, the Director Public Prosecutions, the Crown Solicitors Office, et al, whilst under investigation by SAPol's Anti-Corruption Branch, various other SAPol departments, including the truly bizarre 'Operation Baritone', and having apparently been originally 'investigated' by the Banana Lord* themselves...(wow-Ed)...wow indeed...

I've Got The Wind, But Not The Power

Howdy Brazil, Indonesia, Ukraine, and, Singapore, and y'all elsewhere, and welcome to TMGI...I've had some full-on stuff happening in recent weeks...(including not least of all, yet another Court appearance-Ed)...indeed...(and may I say, what a tour-de-force, what a triumph darrrling-Ed)...a little less of the 'darling' will be fine, but cheers, thanks, it was another bizarre meander through the reality that is my Court stuff in general, but I'm going to say that, at this time, given what happened in this latest hearing Tuesday 27th September 2016...(and that's hearing number, what? 15?-Ed)...nearer 20, if you count the several adjournments on a coupla' dates...(wow-Ed)...anyhoos, given what's happened this week, I genuinely look forward to the up-coming trial, and the opportunity to present my defense as acknowledged by the Court...more tomorrow...(*and apols for some synchronicity errors in this post*)

Elsewhere, I've been copping yet another massive sledging re my allegedly outrageous yet undefined behaviour, and there's a whole raft of very unpleasant threats attached...not going to go into it now, but it's been so hugely traumatic that I'll be a while yet just getting back up to speed...and it ain't a family bereavement or anything in that ballpark...(good-Ed)...and it's not my Cancer and/or I'm not ill, so dear availees, please don't panic...(or celebrate-Ed)...fair call, many a true word spoken in jest Ed...(or in this case, just 2 words-Ed)...you can stop now...(I can...or can I?-Ed)...anyways, still looking at how I'll respond to this latest barrage of obtuse abuse...(still suffering for it I'd say-Ed)...and again, fair call, and because of that, I'm holding back on my response...(good call-Ed)...but to today's post...

South Australia - The Rust-bucket Teapot:...here at TMGI we're not big on saying stuff like, 'we told you so', or, 'we told you so'...(or even, 'we told you so'-Ed)...but it's a farcical denial of the dark realities that we all sat through last Wednesday night, what happened to South Australia electricity -wise, it is a farcical agenda-driven denial to say that Wind Turbines had nothing to do with the entire state being blacked-out...and I know some availees just love Turbines, but I'm not sorry about vehemently disagreeing, albeit politely and with the most genuine best intent...if you will, my first truth...

The Storm In The Teapot:...is the very set-up of South Australia's system, dominated as it is by 'Renewables', and in particular Wind Turbines, our current 'System' is guaranteed to do this when there's a problem...the structure of the system makes it 1) vulnerable to the weather, and we are in that vulnerable position because 2) we have organised our electricity supply around the unrealistic reliance on Wind Turbines...this is an undeniable truth...we are vulnerable because of the way our National system has been organised around Turbines and their multiple failings re base-load reliability or even predictable production...(because they just don't work at all when there's no wind-Ed)...absolutely, but even more ridiculously, they have to be turned off when the wind is too strong...(wow, so, no power when it's still, and none when it's too windy-Ed)...and none during Catastrophic Fire conditions when Turbines have to stop because of their potential to catch fire, an unreachable fire 100m+ off the ground...(and of course fire-fighting aircraft can't operate anywhere near them-Ed)...also true, but it's the switch-off and/or none production issues that are relevant to this latest black-out nonsense...

No Joy In Writing A Right:...but alleged nutters like myself have been saying/writing for years that SA Labor's Wind Turbine obsession...(supported as it is by Labor's rankly Fascist 2011 DPA, a Planning Amendment that removes the ability to legally challenge/oppose Wind Turbine developments-Ed)...yep, denying access to the Courts, that's some rolled-gold Fascism right there...and that Fascism was selling SA right into a whole world of power supply pain, and that pain realised itself on Wednesday...this is what 'we' have been saying would happen, but even then, I don't think even the harshest Turbine critic could have predicted this...(the experts apparently did-Ed)...what?...(yeah, I've heard a bunch of alleged experts, including our charming Premier Jay Weatherill, bangin'-on about how this wholesale collapse was the system functioning correctly, exactly as it is apparently designed to do-Ed)...sorry what? that just doesn't make sense, a system that's designed to collapse when operating properly? bollocks...(I'm just tellin' ya' what they're sayin' mate-Ed)...please explain...

(Well as I've heard it explained, by these alleged experts, and our dear Premier Jay Weatherill, the system reacted exactly the way it is designed to react, and that that action/reaction was to deliberately cut-loose South Australia from the 'National Grid', a decision apparently made by the Australian Energy Regulator, and a measure taken to ensure that South Australia didn't drag the Eastern states down the pug-hole with us-Ed)...and that's the system operating correctly?...(yep, apparently-Ed)...and at this point I'll do availees the respectful courtesy of stopping this facetious me/Ed nonsense and spell-out the realities...

We, South Australia, now has no choice but to accept what is handed to us, we are now at the end of the line, and not literally but actually, and if the disastrous decisions we've made re Turbines threaten the 'National Grid', we're quite actually for the chop...and that is the official explanation in excusing the entire state of South Australia being 'blacked-out'...it is because we have set-up our grid to 'export' huge quantities of 'Renewable Energy', predominantly from Wind Turbines, and then when the Turbines fail, to import the same huge amounts and then even more... and this is the exact justification for the $130million+ Heyward Interconnector (to Victoria) and the proposed $300-$700m one from New South Wales...Jay Weatherill and Energy Minister Tom Koutsontonis have repeatedly offered this exact reasoning, 'we need these Interconnectors to export our Wind Energy, and then to import when we cannot produce'...and even this reality is repeatedly and deliberately misrepresented as being a decision based on the already deeply flawed pseudo-economics of Wind Turbine generation being 'çheap' and even 'free'...  

Riddle Me This:...how and/or why does a system that is supposedly designed to manage huge fluctuations in electricity flow, how is that system crashed completely by a power surge and/or failure?...(and why, given that there was oodles of warning that this storm was a brewin', why wasn't every 'leccy boffin in the state looming over every knob and switch and dial and lever, ready to act if there was trouble?-Ed)...I'd reckon they probably were, they just couldn't stop it 'cos the decision to cut SA adrift was made outside the state...(what an unmitigated disaster-Ed)...I heard a dude on the ABC/BBC a whiles-back describe what SA has done re Renewable Energy, as being "an interesting social experiment"...(so what are we then, bunnies or mice?-Ed)...canaries more like it...(yay-Ed)...

Dear Labor Leader, Bouncing Billy Shorten:...shut-up mate, just shut-up, you've got no shreckin' idea what's happening in SA, because if you do, then you're a vacuous liar...which is it?...I'm sick of hearing/seeing these alleged expert halfwits who are getting stuck into people who quite rightly point-out the exact realities of what's happening here, and I'll say it again...this black-out happened because our entire state's Electricity Supply/Distribution System is set-up around covering the grossly unreliable and intermittent production of Wind Turbines, combined with the ludicrous 'Renewables' ideology of an incompetent and soulless inner-suburban-Greeny-vote-chasing Labor state government...(and doesn't former Premier Mike Ranns' brother have money in Turbines? wasn't he involved with the failed Acciona project down this way at Allendale?-Ed)...absolutely, and it was the developer's Acciona and Grant District Council's loss in the Environment, Resource, Development Court that stopped that moronic project, right on top of Allendale East itself, and it was that ERDC loss that generated the Fascist 2011 Turbine DPA...(yay for corruption in SA-Ed)...yay...

And Just For Balance:...get stuffed PM Malcolm Turnbull, you couldn't lie straight in bed mate, flippin' and floppin' from pillar to post on issues of the environment/equality/whatevs, clearly indebted to if not completely controlled by the more rabid Right-wingers in the Liberal Party...(Right-Wing in the Liberal Party? wow, could you get any further out on a limb?-Ed)...interesting observation Ed...(and here's another, it's clearly a case of the wing-tip flappin' the bird-Ed)...nice...anyhoos, now Mal Mal's gettin' stuck into Turbines in a context that completely undermines genuine debate about what's actually happened by giving pro-Turbine politicians like Jay Weatherill the opportunity to screech 'playing politics'...whatevs, if you want to accept this ludicrous explanation from these armchair experts, the explanation itself confirms exactly what I and many others are saying/have been saying for years...the way our system is organised, we are vulnerable to the weather...

In my experience, Turbine supporters are generally intelligent people who have genuine concerns for their environment and community, but are more than capable of being manipulated and even willingly blinkered to certain compromising realities...we're all capable of it, and just because I'm right about this, doesn't make me a better or a smarter or a more decent person, whatevs, the reality is the reality and it played-out Wednesday, and there's plenty more trouble to come because apparently, that's the way it's supposed to work...(bizarre-Ed)...and yes it was a bad storm, but hardly the catastrophic event that Northern Australia regularly cops, and yes there are clearly distribution problems when pylons collapsing in the Mid-North shuts down the entire state, but even then, the footage I've seen shows some very flimsy looking structures, some of which are/were barely cemented into the ground...(and pylons are notorious for dragging down many others around them if one fails-Ed)...indeed...(and haven't we been paying massive 'leccy bills to help pay for 'gold-plating' the distribution system-Ed)...who do you believe mate? all I know is what I saw...(and that was darkness my old friend?-Ed)...I'm not that old...

Business As Usual:...in SA as everything ground to a candle-lit halt...business, industry, manufacturing, agriculture, retail, everything...from the already struggling (in receivership) Arium shutting-down at Whyalla, to Woolworths half-empty shelves, from restaurants to dairies, everything shut-down, and at what massive cost?...(did the bakers make any bread?-Ed)...nobody did mate, in fact SA lost $millions...(ahaha, nice one-Ed)...and those losses are ongoing in some areas...(not so nice-Ed)...and even tying to make some humour of this deeply disturbing event leaves me feeling apologetic because there's simply nothing here to laugh about, and I take no joy in being proven right...

*The Worst Is Yet To Come:...(well at last! some good news-Ed)...yes, because unfortunately, as disastrous as last evening/today has been for businesses, crops, etc...(with potential for more tonight with the 'back-end' of this front pushing through-Ed)...exactly, and as bad as that has been, it's nuthin' baby compared to what's going to happen if there's a nasty week-long heatwave across South-East Oz...(didn't that happen just a coupla' years back, and there was electricity 'load-shedding' (rationing) to protect the system?-Ed)...yeah, that was slightly different, whilst the issues of the physical network not being able to cope are relevant, more specifically, it's the loss of base-load from the recently closed Pt Augusta coal-fired power station and the resultant reliance on gas and the Heywood Interconnector that are the problem...

A standard Adelaide heatwave is a week of 40C+ temperatures combined with a millpond windlessness that's simply breath-taking...if you've ever been there, Adelaide has a shimmering blue haze to it that's disarmingly charming from the advantageous depths of an air-conditioned foothills mansion...(but not quite so delightful if your down on the windless plains-Ed)..and anywhere without electricity is very quickly a very unpleasant place to be, with no relief at night...(damn it's hot! open a bloody window will you!-Ed)...we're standing outside...(damn it's hot!-Ed)...anyway, that's an Adelaide Summer, and the most recent bad heatwave killed hundreds of people...and that was in part due to inferior infrastructure, but it was also about supply, now we have the added vulnerability of being reliant on the Heywood Interconnector, and therefore Victoria...

In July 2016 we had the ridiculous situation where 'Leccy prices in Adelaide hit $10,000+ per kilowatt hour, or whatevs, compared to the standard approx $110-$130 kwh (itself much higher than the average interstate, $80-100 kwh...*these are close approximations from several varying reports)...and there were all sorts of excuses from Premier Jay Weatherill et al, about the unfortunate convergence of weather conditions (high winds that shut-down Turbines), repairs being done to the Heyward Interconnector which shut that down, forcing reliance on gas production and the resultant massive leap in electricity costs, which nearly shut-down industry, etc, and it was 'the market', and 'unscrupulous suppliers milking the crisis for profit', etc, etc...everybody's fault except Jays'...this has had a direct and undeniable effect on the future hopes of attracting new business/industry/investors/whatevs, because who the shreck is going to try and operate/function/exist in a state where power supply can/will just collapse at any time, in a context where already huge power costs are absolutely guaranteed to wildly fluctuate up-to inconceivable rates, eg, $10,000/hr...(yay-Ed)...   

This also led to a massive leap in the price of domestic gas as the demand rocketed re the gas generation plants near Adelaide having to massively boost production, etc, etc, to stop the State shutting-down...Turbines drastically affect not just electricity prices, but also gas prices...

Health System falling apart, or rather, being pulled apart, re the already disastrous 'New Adelaide Hospital'...yet another massive crisis (the latest in a litany) in the Education Dept and Child Safety authorities...SA Water being 'rorted' to swell government coffers...Motor Accident Commission sold-off...the South East Forestry sold-off...the Gillman land sale/fraud...the Mt Barker land sale/fraud...Energy provision and/or delivery wholly subject to the vaguaries of the weather conditions, leading to blackouts and/or load-shedding' (the deliberate rationing of limited available energy)...and of course, the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up...(yay for SA-Ed)...fundamental problems with wholesale corruption in SAPol (police), State and Local Government, et al...(have you thought of a career as a motivational speaker?-Ed)...not in this State, no...

Jay Weatherill Is An Absolute Clown:...to accuse others of 'playing politics' with this 'natural disaster', because this is a disaster that he and Mike Rann (Labor) created with their politics, and was therefore simply waiting to happen, and it happened the first time there was bit of a problem...but not satisfied with blaming everybody else for the chaos he has created, Jay mate...(maaate-Ed)...has actually accused PM Turnbull of waging a "jihad" against Wind Turbines...(no?-Ed)...orrr yeah...(wow, Jay, what a moronic thing to say-Ed)...of all the language to use, could he be more offensive? "a jihad"...what a complete arse...

And if these clowns, Jay, Tommy, et al, if they're all so committed to 'Renewables', why are they pushing oil exploration in the magnificent Great Southern Bight, and shreckin' Fracking here in the South East...(I find it ironic that many people who support Turbines also oppose Fracking, but that that Turbine support is driving them into the jaws of Fracking-Ed)...indeed, back in July when we had that mini-disaster and were solely reliant on Gas-fired 'Leccy Production, Tommy was all over the media bangin'-on about the need for more gas production in SA to bring down gas prices, and that Fracking was/is absolutely safe...I think it's more than reasonable to draw a line straight from supporting Turbines to the imminent Fracking of the South East, not least of all because the Labor government has drawn that line first...

And even this gas price stuff is an absolute lie, given we pay an international rate for our own gas, because of the massive gas export industry...relatively minuscule deposits like those in the South East will reportedly have no bearing what-so-ever on the national/international price...Tommy was also caught-out lying that the gas facility in Adelaide was operating during Wednesday's black-out, and it wasn't...(and there's been more than a few outright lies flyin' about how Turbines helped to restore power in SA and re-boot the grid, etc-Ed)...but weren't they completely stopped due to the storm conditions and/or the black-out itself?...(I thought so-Ed)...whatevs, the realities are all there if one cares to see them...

Howdy y'all and welcome to Post 1 of 5 for this week...it's day 1 and this is my job, and here I am and here we go, as promised repeatedly recently...todays' post has a degree of revision about it in that I refer regular availees to the many posts re the Mount Gambier Gaol, and in particular, the series of stories that the ABC South East Radio did as part of announcer Stan Thompsons' swansong shows approximately this time last year, possibly May/June 2015...(orrr strewth, I remember that, now that you mention it-Ed)...indeed...(yeah, everything's fine at the Ol' Gaol, just fine, nothing to see here-Ed)...well it was a bit more involved than that, but sure, that was the overall impression and intent...but first...

Is Me Butting:...my head against the wall of realities that I myself have repeatedly defined via this 'ere blog, namely, that South Australia is run for paedophiles by paedophiles...'buttin' ya' head against a wall mate', this is what others tell me about my 'endeavours' to address this disgraceful and undeniable reality...and I ain't disagreeing, gourd knows I've got the bleedin' and the bruisin' and the headaches to prove it, but I'm gunna' refer y'all to the various other great walls that have existed and have been breached, eg, China, Hadrian (Britain), Berlin...(yeah, but I think they were actual real walls mate, not a metaphor for the pro-paedophile corruption that defines South Australia-Ed)...a wall's a wall mate...

Please find attached (below) the latest extraordinary piece of attempted Social Manipulation by the wholly self-involved and deeply corrupted The Border Watch newspaper, from Thursday 8th September 2016...now, at last, here we have the actual truth about the Mt Gambier Gaol, as is being experienced by the people who live here in what is very quickly becoming, if not actually already, a Prison Town Called Mt Gambier...here's the truth, but even then it's the truth very carefully alluded too but deliberately not defined...(and then very quickly and very specifically attacked as being something only a "scaremonger" would complain about-Ed)...absolutely, spot on Ed, and here writ large is the exact crap I've been copping about what bad person I am...(a bastard-Ed)...indeed, I've been called a bastard...(a miscreant-Ed)...and a miscreant...(a fat dole-bludging hippy-Ed)...are you quite done?...(well actually, I do have a couple more-Ed)...shut it!...here is what I've suffered as being labelled a 'bad person who talks-down the team' because I have spoken the truth...

And to further dilute that reality, it isn't mentioned anywhere in the actual article, but instead hidden in the middle of the Editorial, "concerns (the facility) is fuelling crime and social problems in our city", but then effectively dismissing it anyway....(so it is, the whole article bit is about the money/jobs generated by this privately-run facility, and how everyone should be grateful, etc, and the only mention of anything vaguely negative is casually dismissed, eg, 'families don't move here'-Ed)...yep, but it's all there in the Editorial mate...

       It would be naive to rule out the prison has absolutely no impact on the city's crime rates,

(Can you actually be "naive" about a "perceived...effect"?-Ed)...well exactly Ed, the first coupla'  sentences defines a reality that one would be "naive" to deny, yet the very next sentence refers to this reality as being only "perceived", not a reality at all...(this is just bollocks!-Ed)...damn straight it is...

It's all here... be grateful for the jobs Mt Gambier and just ignore the realities and shut ya' whingin' for fear that others may find out, and just shreckin' roll-over and take it 'cos there's just absolutely nuthin' you can do about it anyway...and to shreck with the safety of woman and children in this community...(what a bloody disgrace-Ed)...from the exact same people who have previously dismissed any and all criticisms of MG Gaol as being wholly unfounded and without substance...(just disgraceful-Ed)...

And again, here is a critical study in the ways that The Border Watch and the ABC South East collude and conspire with the rankly corrupted pro-paedophile interests that run this town/State...these organisations have deliberately and repeatedly run the official line that everything's just fine, a deliberate deceit on behalf of their Vested Interest mates, and a corrupt collusion that runs at least as deep as the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up...think I'm over-reacting? try throwing the 'St Martins Cover-up lens' over this clear agenda to deny the realities of the Mt Gambier Gaol...how does it look now?...sorted sweetly or sickly insidious?...

Not A Word Of A Lie:...that I 'know' someone whom 'recently' did some gaol time for relatively minor driving offenses and was sent 'up-state' to 2 other prisons...I won't be more specific so as to not potentially identify this person...(why weren't they just sent here? isn't Mt Gambier Gaol a low-medium security facility?-Ed)...indeed it is Ed, and these were exactly the questions I was asking...(is this person some sort of danger? are they violent?-Ed)...not that I'm aware of, but the reasoning as stated to me, was that this person was considered to be 'at risk' due 1) to their youth, and how this 2) made them potentially vulnerable in a gaol full of paedophiles and other sex-offenders...(orrr terrific-Ed)...yep, and this is the same discussion I've had with many people, including several who claim to work and/or have family working at the MG Gaol and say exactly the same thing...all paedophiles and sex-offenders, rapists, etc...

It's a 'low security' facility because it's full of the sort of people who target those weaker than themselves but are absolute cowards when it comes to any sort of authority or strength...these people are a danger if you're a woman or a child, but not to a cop or a guard or a City Councillor...(or a Mayor-Ed)...exactly, not a problem...     

And call me a paranoid idiot who thinks that his phones are tapped by SAPol (police), his computers monitored, and that this 'ere blog is being read in 'real time' and even in draft form before publishing, etc, etc, all courtesy of SAPol 'Operation Baritone'...(just check the recent post from May 2016 where The Border Watch acknowledges the existence of 'Operation Baritone',  as discussed in Court, etc, etc-Ed)...indeed...but in a freakish coincidence, I wrote the name 'Stan Thompson' at the top of this 'ere page only just yesterday when I started this 'ere post, specifically named him along with the rankly corrupt Mt Gambier Gaol stories swan-song thingy he did just prior to retiring, as described above, and then today, bingo, completely out of the blue, it's announced that Stan's back for one morning only on ABC South East Radio, tomorrow, because announcer Selina Green is going to some awards ceremony interstate...(the ABC South East Radio is getting an award?-Ed)...I know! do not get me started!...(like you need any help with that!-Ed)...fair call...

I also note that 'applications' have closed for the wholly corrupt Tourism Mount Gambier groups' 'Tourism Specialist', that Ratepayers are being forced to pay $115,000 per annum...(plus the free office within Councils' offices with supplies and other 'in-kind' support-Ed)...yep...(and the Council-funded car-Ed)...indeed...(and all as paid for by Ratepayers, as per the rankly corrupt Mt Gambier City Council-Ed)...spot on Ed, a text-book study in Local Government Corruption, Nepotism, Conflict Of Interest, and Insider Trading...can't wait to find out which rankly corrupt mate of Mount Gambier City Council gets this wholly corrupt position...what a disgrace from a corrupt and disgraceful Council...  

I also note, as an amusing aside, that right-a-side this 'ere bollocks about the Mt Gambier Gaol, is another attempted manipulation of the public perception, namely, presenting Simon Stretton as the no-nonsense hard-man of the South Aussie Judiciary, slamming-down hard on the paedophile scum...(booo!-Ed)...this article continues right down the side of page 6, immediately adjacent the attached MG Gaol story...(hang on, is that the same Simon Stretton who, as head of the Crown Solicitors Office, ever-so politely threatened you in writing back in 2006, threatened you with gaol-time for Criminal Defamation if you didn't shut-up about the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up?-Ed)...that'd be him, the gutless, corrupt, sack-of-...(whoa whoa whoa, steady big fella'-Ed)...'ooo, look at me, I'm Judge Stretton, meting out the Hypocrites' judgement from the Immoral High-ground'...(wow, you are one angry young man-Ed)...left Angry a long time ago, mate, steamed right-through Foamingly Furious, and am currently careering along well beyond Rabid...

Here with Simon Stretton is yet another classic example of how rankly pro-paedophile corrupted the SA Judiciary is...this man is a critical and clearly willing player in the St Martins Cover-up and has not one iota of credibility when it comes to sitting in judgement of others, let alone on the subject of paedophilia...you Simon, you sir are a low and corrupt person...

I'll say it again, just for good measure...when SAPol et al dumped the St Martins Case without any investigation (mid-late 2002), us parents were forced to organise our "last resort", the Teachers Registration Board Inquiry into "text-book grooming paedophile" teacher Glyn Dorling and the litany of abuses he committed against our 7 year old children, as their grade 2 teacher at St Martins Lutheran School (2002)...that TRB/CSO hearing was a corrupt farce that took 21 months to completely exonerate Glyn Dorling, including dismissing my eye-witness evidence as the fictional work of a liar who couldn't be trusted...(charming-Ed)...and that corrupt pro-paedophile betrayal of parents and kids, that little pro-paedophile pantomime was conducted by the Crown Solicitors Office...

And when I tried to pursue this crass and deliberate failure to sanction Dorling, Simon Stretton straight-out threatened me with gaol...very snidely, very smugly, all very nicely and politely, but in all reality, slithering about just one pedantic scratch beneath the surface, was/is a bare-faced threat from a gutless and corrupt man...this is your Judiciary, South Australia...(haven't we covered that letter in previous posts?-Ed)...indeed, and I reckon that I've only half-finished one post about it, or did half the letter, something, damn...(how's about we pop it on the list, and get to it soon-Ed)...dear availees, I'm sure this is in early posts...(there's some direct quotes in the post from 5th February 2013, not sure where the letter is though-Ed)...thanks Ed...

Hello Philippines, Ukraine, Japan, and Indonesia and welcome to TMGI...again, I ain't apologising for the anger rolling through this 'ere post, but we'll try to bring at least some humour to the whole shebang...("we"?...are you forgetting that I'm not actually an actual person, rather I'm a confected literary device utilised to create a sense of debate rather than lecturing, and to set-up jokes, etc?-Ed)...no I hadn't forgotten, but thankyou for the reminder anyway...pity though...(how so?-Ed)...well, for example, when I'm being forced to self-represent in my Court case, whilst being persecuted by a wholly corrupt Pro-Paedophile Labor Party/State Parliament via the equally corrupted South Australian Courts, and as happened again, for another 90 minutes, in yet another 'Closed Court'', last Wednesday August 31st 2016...(wow-Ed)...oh yeah...and it would have been nice Ed if you were a real person because then you could have taken notes for me...

And of course there's the rank corruption of Mount Gambier City Council, particularly re this bizarre, self-appointed Tourism Mount Gambier group, a group created by 2 of the most pro-paedophile corrupt people I've ever had the displeasure of meeting, former Member for Mt Gambier Rory McEwen and his self-declared protegé, former Mt Gambier Mayor and current MGC Councillor Steve Perryman...(wow, I can see why you would consider this to be a corrupt organisation given the rancidly corrupt people who have set it up-Ed)...indeed...and if you dear availee, if you're not familiar with the extraordinary and brazen corruption re this TMG shizzle, please read recent posts on the subject...(indeed, it's a heart-warming tale of blatant corruption and carefully orchestrated Nepotism, courtesy of MGC Council, the undisputed kings of Local Government Corruption, yay-Ed)...if by "heart-warming" you mean it makes my blood boil to watch these crooks yet again stealing Ratepayers' money and tipping it into each others' pockets, then yes, it is a very 'heart-warming' tale...but we digress...(again with the 'we'-Ed)...shut it!...

A Kick Right In The Man-Date:...last week, during the first sitting week of the new Federal government since the July 2016 'Double Dissolution' Election stunt that was designed to clear-out that wabble of woudy webels* in the Senate...(but instead has delivered Malcolm Turnbulls' Liberals a Glorious Majority of One seat in the Lower House with extra Independent cross-benchers in the Upper House (Senate), a situation even more convoluted than the previous Parliament-Ed)...absolutely...well, after that Tour-de-Farce, it has been widely reported/noted/whatevs that Team Mal had best get their shizzle together every time there's any sort of vote in the Lower House, 'cos to do otherwise would clearly be unwise...(and then there's been all that shizzle re Labor refusing to allow 'Pairing', the practice of Opposition Members standing aside from votes to match the reasonable absence of say, the Foreign Minister-Ed)...the Foreign Minister...(where the 'convention' but not the Law has been for an Opposition Member to not vote whilst the Ministers' away on national business, etc-Ed)...indeed, from a range of commentators, across a range of issues, the importance of being present in the House has been widely canvassed/discussed/whatevs...and yet...                                                              *(Life Of Brian - Monty Python)

The Team Mal-Content Of Parliament:...was found to be wanting, or rather, not found as Team Mal might be wanting, 'cos a coupla' senior Ministers had shot-through early, apparently with the approval of Uber-Liberal and Leader of the House, Christopher 'Tidy Gentlemans' Perm' Pyne, thusly leaving the Team Mal content of the House inadequate, and so Labor managed to bring-on 3 votes that the Liberal/Nationals government lost, and then Labor very nearly got through a Bill for a Royal Commission into the rankly corrupted Banking Sector, and how Aussie banks have been ripping-off their customers with deliberately dodgy financial advice, crooked charges, etc, etc, a Royal Commission the Libs have been furiously refusing to support...(way to run the country dudes!-Ed)...

The Bells, The Bells:...they were a ringin', but some of the ding-dongs had already left the building...(thankya', thankya' very much-Ed)...because when they rang the bell, as they do in Parliament to let Members know to high-tail it into the House for whatevs vote is pending, the appeals of those appealing peels fell not on deaf ears, but not at all on some ears...(what sound does a bell make when the Minister's not there to here it?-Ed)...well I'd have to think you need to ask one of those 147-odd who were there and did hear it!...(fair point, fair point...but I don't get how that arrogantly shambolic effort from Team Mal relates to the more general Liberal agenda of dragging Oz back to the 1950s, as you were referring to earlier-Ed)...ah! indeed, they got so close, so close...(so close to what?-Ed)...well, when the 2-day-old Turnbull Liberal government lost those votes, it was the first time a majority government has lost a vote in the Lower House...(and not just 1 vote but 3-Ed)...indeed, and that's the first time since 1962...(orrr, so close-Ed)...but there's more...

A Right-Faction Kick In The Mandate:...when the succinctly rabidly Right Wing Liberal Cory 'BarnYardy' Bernardi and a bunch of other similarly sanctimonious Liberal back-benchers decided amongst themselves that the single most important piece of business for the new Parliament to address is removing certain provisions from Race Hate/Vilification Laws...(dammmn, nigga!-Me Impersonating Black USofA Comedian Dave Chappelle)...now, to the casual observer it may appear that Clan Cory is trying to pander to the sort of bigotted and insular Electorates that got them elected in the first place, but, ummm, ughhhm, errrr, well, actually it's a bit 'horse-and-cart' in that he was pre-selected and then elected largely due to his attitudes on these issues...(as were most of his mates-Ed)...indeed, so my attempt to write some wittily pithy paragraph about it has been triumphantly trampled by the reality...moving on...

Another Attempt At Humour:...(wow, subtle-Ed)...yeah, I know, but at least I'm still trying...uh-hum, I'm doing a sort of pseudo-documentary film thingy about the frozen remains of a Stone Age family/group, as recently exposed by a shrinking glacier and discovered by climate scientists monitoring that glacier...(orr yeah, is that that frozen mummified hunter dude Ötzi they found with the arrow wounds and stuff, and he was 5,000 years old?-Ed)...not him, no, but very similar, only there are several people, thought to possibly be a family group...I'm picturing Bruce Willis in the lead role..(do you have a working title?-Ed)...yeah, I'm calling it 'Icy Dead People'...(mmm, that's quite a long lead-in to a very average pun-Ed)...absolutely, and now there's every chance that we'll spend just as long here in the Dead Laugh Area...(or not-Ed)...and Ötzi is real but I made-up the other lot...

Still bloggin', and back again tomorrow for what can only be called a quick stroll through the bizarro parallel Universe that is the 'Justice' being applied to getting me for the heinous crime of talking about stuff that's supposedly all just fine...(just fine-Ed)...17?-18? hearings now, since February last year (2015)...90 minutes in June 2016, another 90 last week (August 31st 2016)...and at what cost? that's been at least 6 full hours of the Magistrates Court time this year alone, and that doesn't include obviously all the time and effort of SAPol (police), SAPol Prosecutions, Court staff, etc...(effort? I don't see much evidence of any effort by SAPol, it's a bad joke-Ed)...indeed, it's a shreckin' shambles, a quintessential debasco (debacle/fiasco)...a corrupt Labor government is utilising all the powers of the State to try and get li'l ol' me, not least of all via SAPol 'Operation Baritone' as started in February 2014, and then via the Magistrates Court since February 2015...

Here's A Teaser:...on Wednesday August 31st 2016, present in the Closed Court but via video link from Adelaide, were the SAPol Prosecutions woman, the Club GoGo Bananas* representative/lawyer/whatevs, and her 2 silent offsiders...4 of them on the telly...actually in the Mt Gambier Court and joining myself, the Magistrate, her offsider/assistant, and 1-2 Sherriffs/Court Officers, were my good mate and head of SAPol Prosecutions Andrew Paesch, along with his offsider/second-in-charge/whoevs, whom it appears flew down from Adelaide specifically for my hearing...(wow-Ed)...the head of SAPol Prosecutions flew down for my hearing and then just sat in the back of an otherwise empty Courtroom...and count them now, 9-10 people for 90 minutes, and that's just the actual hearing time...(you really are a bastard-Ed)...I have not yet begun to Bastard Ed, and when I do, this shizzle gunna' get real down in here...(are you being Dave Chappelle again?-Ed)...yeah, sorry, I just really dig his sense of humour...  

*And of course Club GoGo Bananas and the Banana Lord are the pseudonyms I use for the relative State Authority and its' head honcho, because me simply identifying them is potentially/possibly yet another breach of the bizarrely undefinable CGGB Act I'm already being charged under...(wow-Ed)...*

I Got It Half Right - Why Mt Gambier City Council Must Resign En Masse.

Hello Sweden, Egypt, India, and Japan and welcome to TMGI...and in a rare treat for regular availees, I'm going to do exactly the post I promised last time...(treat?-Ed)...shhh...please to be finding attached the relative statements/Motions from the 2 consecutive Mt Gambier City Council meetings, July and August 2016, and the article from The Border Watch (Thursday August 18th 2016)...here again is the carefully planned, cynically orchestrated, institutionalised and systemic corruption of the wholly corrupt Mt Gambier City Council, in collusion with the willingly complicit and equally corrupt The Border Watch newspaper...

But First:...whilst I cannot and will not apologise for the anger in recent posts, this one included, I greatly appreciate the ongoing support and feedback and the patience of availees as I trudge relentlessly forward with this 'ere blog and/or my personal stuff...(blah blah esoteric journey of self-discovery blah blah-Ed)...and sure, I do continue to suffer the crushing depression of living in a pro-paedophile corrupt community, be that South Australia itself or in l'il ol' Mt Gambier as run by a rancidly corrupt Mt Gambier City Council that operates for the specific financial gain of Its' constituent Members, etc, etc, etc, but despite that, what I have 'achieved' in trying to address this corruption cannot be ignored...as others have put it to me, this 'ere blog TMGI has created an undeniable parallel history to the one that these corrupt public officials would have y'all believe...cheers...and on with the post!...(tally-bally-ho!-Ed)... 

In the recent post about this self-appointed Tourism Mount Gambier group, and the associated rank corruption of a number of it's constituent/founding members, and the direct rank corruption of Mt Gambier City Council in supporting TMG, particularly the bizarre and deeply corrupted discussions/processes re the 2016/17 Budget, we all have already discussed the contemptuously corrupt 'Conflict Of Interest' conduct of former Mayor and current MGC Councillor Steve Perryman, who, as a founding Board Member of TMG, belligerently led the attack (in Council meetings) on what Council services should be 'de-funded' so as to free-up Ratepayers' money for him and his mates on TMG...(ya' know, I was there, and I still can't believe 1) that Stevo mate was so arrogantly self-righteous in his demands and in his denigration of disabled people, etc, or 2) that the rest of the Council just sat there and let it happen! pathetic!-Ed)...not just pathetic Ed, corrupt, rankly corrupt...

Remember too availees, that 1) it is reported that TMG intends to achieve 'Tourism' results that are already being achieved by State authorities/campaigns/whatevs, and 2) former MGC Councillor Biddie (Tietz) Shearing, who is also part of TMG, is currently swanning-about the place on the Taxpayers' dollar as the Tourism Development Officer for Regional Development Australia...and this bizarre TDO RDA appointment fresh off-the-back of a disastrous 'career' with other failed Tourism groups...(is this the stuff about how a demonstrated commitment to the institutionalised pro-paedophile corruption that defines SA is a fundamental requisite in being employed to these RDA jobs and any number of other similar positions?-Ed)...yep, that's the one...please also remember that this TMG has been officially described/reported as a 'Sub-committee of the Mt Gambier Chamber of Commerce', therefore Ratepayers are funding not just TMG but also the MGCoC...(wow...and don't the CoC have Members on TMG?-Ed)...yep...(wow, it's a veritable smorgasbord of self-serving Nepotism, Conflicts of Interest, and self-righteous greed-Ed)...indeed...

I note that this TMG has in it's self-appointed Board-ship several very wealthy individuals...very, very wealthy individuals, anyone of whom could easily self-fund this self-appointed group...and I can point directly at at least 2 of these very, very wealthy individuals and say they've made their wealth through corruption...and not just ya' standard garden variety corruption, ya' know, like ripping-off Ratepayers via super-dodgy building projects, relentlessly nepotistic Tender processes, etc, etc...(the sort of standard fare ya' get from Mt Gambier City Council?-Ed)...exactly like that...it's absolutely corrupt, sure, but it's not the pro-paedophile corruption that defines the political careers of Rory McEwen and Steve Perryman, as evidenced by their extensive and intimately complicit involvement in the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up...(ah yeah now there's some corruption right there-Ed)...damn straight...

(So what you're saying is, is that every current Councillor, the Mayor, the CEO, all senior Council Officers, et al, they should all be sacked/removed and duly charged, under ICAC legislation, because that's exactly what ICAC's supposed to do, and then all involved appropriately fined/whatevs?-Ed)...and include the recent former CEO Greg Muller and Mayor (Perryman)...(fair enough, they're shockers too, but you're saying that all of that corruption, as undoubtedly bad as it is, all of that pales in comparison to the extraordinary levels of corruption, deceit, and self-serving criminality that our mates Rory and Stevo have involved themselves in re the St Martins Cover-up?-Ed)...that's exactly what I'm saying...and I say these things 100% confident that I can prove, indeed, have already repeatedly proven on this 'ere blog just exactly what Rory's capable of, eg, his extraordinary defense of the "text-book grooming paedophile" teacher and then slanderous attack on us parents via the front page of the equally complicit The Border Watch from May 6th 2005 (see previous posts, including recent post about Premier Jay Weatherill)... 

MGC Council is obviously feeling some of the public backlash about the rank corruption of this entire TMG process, because after initially trumpetting (via The Border Watch, previous post) that there would be $480,000 of Ratepayers' money going to TMG, with $350,000 of that for employing a 'Tourism Officer/Specialist', Council has now reined right-back from Its' billowing self-praise about how much of Ratepayers' money is being poured into TMG...(and reined-back so much that they've got TBW very carefully pseudo-accurately reporting these corrupt shenanigans-Ed)...pseudo-accurately?...(yeah, it's the deceit by omission stuff, the carefully crafted half-truth stuff-Ed)...you mean like Council and TBW now stating/reporting that MGC Council has "committed $160,000 in seed funding", followed 2 paragraphs later with a verbose acknowledgement of the fiscal realities, "Identical financial contributions over the next two years have been foreshadowed by council", itself a lie because Council hasn't "foreshadowed" squat, they've stated outright and voted for this funding for a 3 year period...period...

When you start to look at the various different versions side-by-side, these manipulations and/or omissions become glaringly obvious...eg, whilst I don't have a copy of the relevant "attached budget proposal", Council has self-evidently been very careful to go from "in kind support for tourism specialists' office accommodation, vehicle usage, office consumables", right back to just "in kind support"...and the discussion in Councils' July meeting couched this "in kind support" in terms of providing an office within the Council premises, and a car...(what? on top of the $110,000 salary?-Ed)...yep...(wow, so Ratepayers are straight-out being robbed of $160,000 for this ludicrous TMG nonsense, plus we're paying for all the other rorts that Council commits, eg, luxury cars for Council staffers, etc, including it would appear, a car for this 'Tourism Specialist'-Ed)...and all very carefully hidden behind "in kind support"...

The final act re this rankly corrupt TMG Motion in MGC Councils' August 2016 meeting is as below, item b), point 6), "Provide Councillor representation on the Tourism Mount Gambier Board."...(but isn't TMG founding Board Member Steve Perryman also former Mayor and current MGCC Councillor Steve Perryman?-Ed)...one and the same...(the same Cr Perryman who shat spectacularly all over Local Government provisions re 'Conflict Of Interest' when he led the attack on other Council services re funding TMG?-Ed)...yep...(what? all that stuff we've discussed just before/above and in recent posts? that Steve Perryman?-Ed)...what can I tell ya' Ed...(it doesn't make sense...why would Council include and then vote-through a statement that conflicts so fundamentally with the reality? the sentence itself simply doesn't make sense-Ed)...and that Ed, that's what I was saying previous about how this stuff is carefully written to hide the corrupt truths, and particularly to deceive those who wouldn't know otherwise...  
Here is a text-book example of the deliberate deceit of these official Council documents...this is carefully worded for a reader who wouldn't know the critical, intimate and repeated role that Cr Steve Perryman has played in establishing TMG and forcing Council to fund it...this is written to try and deny the rankly corrupt realities by suggesting/inferring that TMG need to provide a position for Council representation, when the whole shenaniganous-shebang has been set-up and orchestrated by a serving Councillor...and round we come again to the Plausible Deniability stuff where-in Stevo was absent from Councils' July meeting where the TMG Motion wasn't even Seconded...(hilarious-Ed)...if it wasn't so serious...(fair call-Ed)...so Stevo had to be absent yet again in August so that it would get voted-through in his absence, and hence he can and will screech 'there's no Conflict Of Interest, I wasn't even there'...(wow, so corrupt-Ed)...absolutely, and how corrupt is the stoogefest of a Council that votes this crap through...(indeed-Ed)...

But the crowning glory in this pig-gutted frenzy of self-importance, this maelstrom of sanctimonious self-congratulation...(steady on, I quite like this 'ere blog-Ed)...shhh, idiot...where was I? ah yes, this Bacchanalian romp of self-serving corruption, this orgy of orchestrated official fraudulence, this vacuous avalanche of rank rorting, this...(oh for gourd sake, get on with it!-Ed)...fair enough...but truly the most bare-faced audacity, the...(ahh!-Ed)...sorry, the worst bit (TBW, below) where MGCC CEO Mark McShane states as fact that Ratepayers have "a responsibility to drive tourism"...(so what he's actually saying is, is that Ratepayers have an 'obligation' to fund Steve Perrymans' corruption?-Ed)...pretty much, but not just Stevos', Councils' corruption in general...(and don't Ratepayers pay Mighty Mark McShenanigans wage-Ed)...yep, Ratepayers fork-out for all their wages, their allowances, and for all their cars and their little soirees at the Main Corner...(a building also payed for wholly by Ratepayers and with all its' own litany of MGC Councils' rank Nepotism, Conflicts Of Interests, missing monies, et al?-Ed)...yeah, that's the one...

And now MGC Council therefore Ratepayers are apparently paying for advertising this 'Tourism Officer' position (attached below) as well...the adjacent TBW column Progress important is from the same page as the article Tourism funds allocated, and the job ad is from the next days' TBW, Friday August 19th 2016...the entire TMG set-up is such a deeply Nepotistic, corrupted and inappropriate entity that it is not possible to define the genuine control structure and/or a single specific thread of corruption re Nepotism, etc...the whole thing is riddled with corruption...TMG has been set-up by corrupt people, not least of all Councillor Stevo, and is apparently a Sub-committee of the Chamber of Commerce, but being funded by Council therefore Ratepayers, but with Council employing the 'Tourism Specialist' and paying for all that as well...(wow-Ed)...  

Tomorrow: Embarrassed To Be An Angry White Man? I'm Not...Embarrassed That Is.

And sorry, read it through several times but I literally just picked-up the repeated references to "5 years" (TBW)...here again is the careful manipulation of truths to hide realities..."growth to the sector over 5 years", and "quest to become self-sufficient within five years" are 'Dodgy Council 101' language for indicating that the $480,000 over 3 years that Council has been furiously trying to downplay by referring to $160,000 for one year...(plus that "in kind support", don't forget that-Ed)...indeed, plus that, however much that turns out to be, whatevs, that's not the final goal/reality, that goal is 5 years of Ratepayer funding, meaning a grand total pushing $1million, well over $600,000 of which goes straight in the pocket of this alleged 'Tourism Specialist'...(wow-Ed)...nah, but it's not corrupt...much...

In closing, please also note at the bottom of the August Agenda page, the shizzle about the Rail Lands, and here again is Council, again, telling yet further lies about their genuine actions re the iconic Old Rail Station...as with the St Martins Lutheran School Child Abuse Cover-up, I have via this 'ere blog proven beyond debate MGC Councils' ongoing commitment to the Rail Lands Retail Agenda, a massive Retail Development right across the Rail Lands site, and the Old Station is not just surplus to RLRA requirement, it's right in the way...Council has studiously avoided spending anything on this building because it's a building they've got marked for demolition...(and lied through their teeth about 'potential tenants' to make sure it remains empty?-Ed)...spot on, it's why Council refused locating the Public Bus Terminal there...it is fundamentally undeniable that the Old Station should have been the very first thing that was renovated/restored/whatevs, but MGC Council have absolutely no intention of doing so...(and where's the Sound Shell?-Ed)...indeed, no Sound Shell...and so it goes on...
