And Yet More Wholesale Pro-Liberal/National Media Propaganda/Protection

Howdy dear availees...sounding not un-like that proverbial broken ol' record I know, yet again it's been 8-9 days since we last posted, and if you told me it was 3-4 I'd believe ya'...been a very confronting time with the South Australian State Election last weekend...(resulting in a landslide/massacre Labor win over the first-term Liberal government, rather reminiscent of the recent West Australian pro-Labor/anti-Liberal carnage-Ed)...indeed, leaving the Liberals the third party in WA, 'cos the Nationals hold more seats than the Libs, and there's no 'Coalition' in WA...(and therefore the Nats are the official Opposition, with Libs 3rd-Ed)...yep, and leading to that hilarious exchange last week where-in our illustrious leader PM Scott 'Scummo' Morrison was in WA furiously sucking-up to Labor Premier Mark McGowan, desperately trying to 1) deny the realities of his (Scummo's) years of abuse/criticism of WA and 2) now align himself with the uber-popular Premier...a journo asked Scummo if he'd met with the WA Opposition leader and Scummo said 'yep, I met with Dr Honey', to which the journo replies, 'he's not the Opposition leader'...(and then Scummo tried to weasel his way out of it-Ed)...indeed...(and just 'cos it's so delightfully Scummo, here's the actual exchange, cut-'n'-pasted from The West Australian newspaper-Ed)...*** 

But things later turned awkward when Mr Morrison was asked whether he had also met with the        state Opposition leader, Nationals MP Mia Davies.

“What about the state opposition, why aren’t you meeting with the state Opposition leader?” a reporter asked.

“I did, I have, I saw Dr Honey yesterday,” Mr Morrison said, referring to Leader of the WA Liberal Party David Honey.

“Dr Honey is not the Opposition leader,” the reporter informed him.

“Sorry,” Mr Morrison started to say.

“Mia Davies is the state opposition leader,” the reporter continued.

“Well I’m talking about the Liberal leader, I met with the Liberal leader when I’m in town,” Mr Morrison said.

***Whilst it is the case/fact that the MSM are pathetically complicit/compliant with Scummo, allowing him to spew bare-faced lies with absolute impunity, and he knows that and so he does that...(it's a self-perpetuating cycle of collusion and deceit, whereby the electorate is ruthlessly and relentlessly manipulated-Ed)...indeed, but Scummo is very well-practised in the pattern of language that gives credibility to his lies/deceits/denials, so because it's such a good example of how Scummo manipulates language, here's the link to a thread by Ronni Salt that carefully explains it...

And I wamso pissed-off to read these bleedin'-heart Right Wingers calling-out us relative Lefties for complaining about the chronically incestuous relationship between the MSM and the Scummo LNP...it is not balance, for shreck sake, to allow Scummo et al to just spew base deceits into the ether, right into our ever-suffering faces, and not call him/them out on a single thing...(nor is it 'just journalism' to parrot LNP talking points/announcements/claims/accusations, citing/regurgitating them as facts, and to then re-present them as facts in the form of gotcha'-style questions to Labor/Greens/Independents-Ed)...exactly, this habit/agenda of using unsubstantiated and often quite erroneous/false/deceitful LNP claims/statements as questions gives the average punter the impression that the subject matter is fact/correct...(and that right there is the intended manipulation, give it a false credibility by 1) not initially challenging it, and then 2) reproducing is as 'fact'-Ed)...spot on...and it's reached a whole new level of LNP/MSM co-operation with the looming May 2022 Election looking increasingly like a LNP loss...

The reason that us 'Lefties' remark about the occasional interview/story that does actually challenge the LNP and/or their narrative/propaganda, is because such stories/interviews are so few and so far between that they have become, by definition, 'remarkable'.

And so to the most recent and blatant exercise in one-way pro-LNP propaganda being regurgitated and proliferated by the MSM, particularly the ABC...remember dear availees that we covered this behaviour/agenda in the recent post Just More Blatant ABC Pro-LNP Machinations (10 March 2022)...this past fortnight it has been the issue of the death of Labor Senator Kimberley Kitching from what was apparently a heart attack...what started as a classic Murdoch Media beat-up about about how 'Labor's Factional Bullying Was Responsible', became 'The Story' as the rest of the rankly complicit pro-LNP Media, ABC included, dutifully lapped-up that agenda...without any proof, a woman's death was immediately and grossly politicised by the LNP and their MSM courtiers, and used to try and 1) distract away from multiple LNP failings and/or rorts...(or as with the flooding disaster and related pro-LNP biased 'Emergency Support', etc-Ed)...yep, and 2) drag down the increasingly popular Labor Party...and the MSM have dutifully played their pro-LNP part, heaping base conjecture upon scurrilous supposition, completely ignoring and even lying about her family's requests to butt out at least until after her funeral...    

Just a coupla' days ago I heard the ABC News 24 Radio spend 10mins+ forensically dissecting Labor's factional issues and how problematic they were, etc...(and not a single word about the anti-Democratic shizzle-storm in the NSW Liberals, where-in Scummo et al have come plowing-in over the top of the state executive to force Scummo's 'Captain's Picks' on several critical electorates?-Ed)...exactly! not one bloody word...I recall years ago reading about Senator Kitching's very dodgy Right Wing associations, eg, Andrew Bolt, and her husbands fraudulent behaviour and dodging-off overseas to avoid charges/investigation, etc, etc...at first couldn't remember where, but it didn't take long to find 'cos it turns out that it's the most excellent Kangaroo Court of Australia (Shane Dowling) covered this stuff in detail and at length back in 2015/16 and repeatedly since...rather than spend paragraphs trying to adequately explain it, here's the link to those stories...it's relevant given how the MSM has tried so hard to present Ms Kitching as a faultless, powerless victim, unfairly harrassed and bullied to her premature demise...

Another classic real-time example...NSW Liberal Gareth Ward has been suspended from Parliament...(albeit on full pay and allowances-Ed)...sure, but he's effectively been forced out, charged with multiple Sexual Assault charges against young men, one a teenager, and the very limited reportage of this in the Murdoch media has 'included' not actually mentioning that he was/is a Liberal...then it emerges that former Premier Gladys Berejiklian knew about the pending charges 2 years ago...(and sat on that news because it was politically expedient?-Ed)..again exactly...(and all of the stuff with the embarrassing collapse/withdrawal of NSW Police Fixated Persons politically-motivated/generated attack on FriendlyJordies producer Kristo Langker, not a bloody word in the MSM as far as I'm aware-Ed)...I reckon you're right, but too easy to check, just Interweb search it...(bear with me a sec.........ummm, there's a coupla mentions, but that doesn't detail whether they were printed/aired or just on-line-Ed)...well some is better than nuthin', which is what I expected, but it's clearly received very limited coverage for such a critically important incident/story...(what I haven't seen is any discussion reportage of the FJ piece about Liberal MP Peter Dutton's very dodgy dealings with various dodgy characters/businesses, a collective dodginess that looks remarkably like a high-end drug smuggling operation-Ed)...now imagine that it was/is a Labor Minister in the frame...(Murdoch/Fairfax et al screeching OUTRAGE and demanding INQUIRY, on every front page, for weeks?-Ed)...exactly...

Arguably the worst, the most glaringly complicit act of the MSM, is this week's Scummo bare-faced lie...("this weeks"? you mean today's, nay, this hour's-Ed)...fair call, Scummo is by definition a Pathological Liar, quite literally actually incapable of even the most simple Truths...(one whom lies at all times and about all things, even when it is completely unnecessary-Ed)...indeed...(I mean, when Ash Barty retired from tennis, Scummo tweeted that he had "spoken" to her, when he had actually left a text message-Ed)...yep, lying for the sake of lying, every conceivable deceit to try and pump-up his fully-confected self image...just today he was trying to infer that today he had personally spoken to the Solomon's Island PM Sogavare, but when put on the spot with a specific question, he tried to back-track about how 'we're in constant contact with them', etc...caught-out in a lie, he refuses to concede and likely just lies again...(and last week he was lying through his ugly, jagged teeth, attacking Labor leader Anthony 'Eggs Over' Albanese for slimming-down and styling-up, stating that he, Scummo' "haven't changed my glasses", etc, when yes he had, repeatedly-Ed)...it was classic Scummo lies and A1 Gaslighting, openly stating that he doesn't pretend to be things that he's not...(what?!!! Captain Cosplay the Part-Time Performative PM who drives trucks, tanks, race cars, washes hair, welds without goggles, etc, etc, ad infinitum, and spends more time being a carefully choreographed photo-op Daggy-Dad Home Handyman Curry Cooker...he doesn't pretend to be things he ain't?...shreck me-Ed)...what can I say... 

But the biggie in a litany of lies and gaslighting, in just one very long week in the life of a pathological liar, arguably his best effort was saved for his bestie, Hillsong (Pentecostal) leader Brian 'I Am The Problem' Houston...(the same Brian whom Scummo has repeatedly identified as a "mentor" and close friend, etc, including stating it in Parliament?-Ed)...that's him...(who Scummo tried to get invited to the White House but whom the WH rejected?-Ed)...yep...(that Scummo also lied and gaslighted about, dismissing relevant questions as gossip/rumour that he wasn't going to comment on?-Ed)...liar gotta' lie...(mmm, what's Brian mate upto these days?-Ed)...well, when he's not covering-up paedophile abuse by his father, and finally getting charged for it, he's apparently harassing women and/or having 'alleged' affairs, and getting dumped (quitting?) the 'Ministry'...(and Scummo's response to his betsies meteoric demise?-Ed)..."haven't been there for 15 years, I go to another church, as you all know"...(wow, way to be unwaveringly loyal to a pal in trouble-Ed)...I know right, but it gets better...(it always does with Scummo-Ed)...well, just before the Federal Election in 2019 he was carefully photo-opped on stage at Hillsong, holding hands with the missus, Jenny 'The AskWife 2022', and right there with them, that very naughty boy Brian...(and of course the 'journos' leapt on this blatant lie and ripped Scummo a new one?-Ed)...what do you think?...(crickets?-Ed)...more like 'cricket', singular, not nuthin', not one word...  

And in telling that lie was the the further lie that he bailed out of partway through...(namely?-Ed)..he started to say 'I just found out today like you did', but either he was so rattled that he skipped mid-sentence to the lie about not going there for 15 years...(maybe he remembered that he tried that same lie about the Brittany Higgins 'Alleged Rape', saying he only found out in February 2021, and then via the media reports, as and when everyone else did, etc, but then mistakenly quoted the actual date from April 2019 when he actually knew-Ed)...and then tried to back-track/cover-up his self-exposed lie by saying that he had 'mis-spoke' February 2021 as April 2019...(and so blatantly, clearly a lie, right there in Parliament, in the full gaze of cameras, etc, everything about his manner and dis-ease illustrated that he was lying, and from the MSM? best part of sweet bugger all-Ed)...yep, lies within lies, lie-upon-lie, cannot speak without lying...it's why he is known internationally as The Liar From The Shire...and he gets away with it locally because he doesn't get held to account by the media, and he knows that, he knows it's not going to happen, and it becomes an escalating self-perpetuating cycle of Scummo's lies and MSM protection/collusion...he knows his lies will go unchallenged so he is emboldened to lie at all times and about all things...   

Just For Laughs:...saw a tweet of someone putting a 'Peter Dutton - Delivering for Dickson' flyer/pamphlet thingy through a shredder...and had all the pun-guns firing because all I saw was 'Living For Dicks'...(hey, me too, but I went with 'Living For Dicks On Toast'-Ed)...nice...and if one were so inclined, one could have gone with Spuddo's other soon to be infamous nickname...(other than 'The Spud', 'cos he looks like a potato?-Ed)...yeah, and one inspired by his illustrious leader and others in the LNP, eg, PM Scott 'Scummo' Morrison's self-anointed 'Man Of The People/Daggy Dad' moniker of 'Scomo'...(and Peter's would beee?-Ed)...isn't it obvious, 'Pedo'...(ooo, that's a bit unfortunate-Ed)...ain't it though...and 'cos Spuddo's got such a thin skin, as evidenced by his recent 'Defamation sueing' of a Twitterer, just wanna' make clear we ain't accusing him of anything relating to Child Abuse, etc, it's just a mocking joke...(yeah, sure, but there was that stuff with Petey issuing dodgy/corrupt 'Visas for Au-pairs', and related concerns it was effectively actually sex-trafficking of young women-Ed)...yeah fair enough, there is all that, that did happen, and those are valid concerns/issues, but I'm not sure that there was any direct link to Child Abuse specifically...

Voting Liberal, Eg, Ben Hood Or Tony Pasin, Is A Vote For Fundamentalist/Pentecostal Control Of Your Life

Howdy dear availees everywhere...anyone who is even vaguely aware of the class-structured control mechanisms that pass for 'Democracy' in Australia, knows that certain privileged people, almost always 'boys', go to certain schools, on their way to largely undeserved 'success' in big business, law, etc, but most especially in politics...(there are meritorious exceptions, but they are exactly that, exceptions-Ed)...exactly...it's the good ol' Old School Tie Boys Club that, for example, sees 3 British Prime Ministers all come from literally the one class at 'Big College, Cambridge/Oxford/Hull' (ack to The Young Ones and BlackAdder)...Scott 'Scummo' Morrison would be an exception, but not in the 'meritorious' mold...(no, indeed, it'd be more the proven reliably corrupt immoral back-stabbing betrayer mold, just the way Uncle Rupert likes his pet politicians-Ed)...exactly...done the hard yards to prove what a viciously incompetent but malleable minion he is, sacked from literally every job he's had for as-yet unresolved but clearly definable issues of fraud, deceit, etc, he's been promoted to where he can do the bidding of those whom control him, eg, Rupert Murdoch, the Mining Industry Magnates, etc...

Scummo has proven time and again that he is fundamentally incapable of Honesty, Decency, Morality, Empathy, and actual Leadership...(all he has is Propaganda, Gas-Lighting, and/or Perma-Electioneering, and always and in all ways with the motivation/focus on his own personal best Political Profiteering-Ed)...a perfectly accurate summation Ed, that is who he is, a self-absorbed, full-blown Narcissistic Moral Vacuum of a Pathological Liar...(he is by design and function the lowest common denominator in the sum of Human Achievement-Ed)...he is, to be frank, an arsehat sans redeeming feature...(indeed-Ed)...and that's before ya' even start in to the Glassy-eyed, Happy Clapper God-Botherer Faux-Christian persona that he so publicly embraces...and that is increasingly seen to be the real concern...which is why today we're more concerned with the current 'Boy's Club' dominating Australian politics, and that's the extraordinary over-representation of Pentecostal/Fundamentalist 'Christians' in the Scummo/LNP government...

And I do intentionally use 'Boy's Club', but not to exclude discussion of the 'Crumb Maidens' in the LNP, but to highlight /define their status and role within the LNP as defined by the Pentecostal/Fundamentalist belief structure/ideology...(which is?-Ed)...that women are 'lesser' than men, are to be effectively subservient to men...(and so women do not achieve any real power in the LNP, they are relegated to 'lesser' roles, and even then only after demonstrating a commitment to perpetuating the Patriarchy as it exists 'above' them?-Ed)...exactly, and hence 'Crumb Maidens', 'cos they choose to accept this 'sub-status' for how they may personally profit from it, for what crumbs may fall from the big table, eg, a Ministerial position...(and then there are those who not so much choose to accept it, but are just conditioned to accept/protect/perpetuate it 'cos that's all they've known and/or it's what their 'belief system' tells them is 'God's will'-Ed)...exactly, be it by Nature, be it by Nurture, be it a combination, the result is always the same and immediately obvious...  

Numerous times on this 'ere blog we've theorised/hoped that Scummo was merely a soul-less, performative opportunist trying to recruit the 'Christian Lobby'...(but we've also identified, with increasing concern, that many of his behaviours align exactly with the rancidly Faux-Christian ideology of the Pentecostals/Fundamentalists and their proudly bigotted, morally-corrupted 'Prosperity Gospel' and desire for 'The Rapture'-Ed)...exactly, and so aligned are the Liberal/National Party self-serving corruption agendas and bigotry, etc, with the Pentecostal/Hillsong types, etc, it's genuinely impossible to decipher where one ends and the other begins...(or which motivates which-Ed)...indeed, but it's almost irrelevant really, 'cos they are effectively interchangeable, they are so alike that they co-exist in almost perfect harmony...(and whilst one might say the LNP is a very new blight on the face of Humanity, it's predecessor 'genuine Christianity' is also based on genuine empathy, charity, etc, something irretrievably distant from the hateful, bigotted, self-important Pentecostal 'God hates the Poor/Disabled/Disadvantaged' ideology/beliefs/teachings-Ed)...that so align with the Scummo LNP...but at the heart of Scummo is always that he is fundamentally lacking as person and lacking any and all traits of a genuine leader...     

It is well known how Scummo, with mucho support from the Murdoch media, viciously manipulated the Liberal's pre-selection process against Michael Towke, that Scummo initially lost 80 votes to 8...here's a very famous political observation/joke that immediately puts me in mind of Scummo, and that is the tale of The Post Tortoise...it has various forms, look it up, but the crux of the joke relates to a tortoise found atop a fence post, and it goes a li'l like this...

“You know he didn’t get up there by himself, he doesn’t belong up there, he doesn’t know what to do while up there, he’s elevated beyond his ability to function, and you just wonder what kind of idiot put him there to begin with.”

Superb...here's a brief article (sorry, forget from where) that perfectly illustrates how the Pentecostals operate...not suggesting Catholics, Anglicans, Lutherans, Jews, etc, don't do the same sort of thing, seek to exercise influence, etc, but this is about what's happening right now in SA and Federal politics, and that's the Pentecostal/Fundamentalists...I believe that Citipointe is in Quennsland...***

The Hillsong connection with the LNP is strong in Citipointe Christian College.

Ahead of the 2019 federal election, the College's pastor Mark Ramsey posted a portrait of the prime minister, Scott Morrison, and said: “This election is not about what party you prefer, it’s about Good Godly Leadership.”

The chairperson of the Citipointe Christian College board, Graham Packer, is a significant fundraiser for the LNP. Packer, and two of his family leather companies, have donated $100,490 to the LNP in the past three years. He did not respond to questions.

Brisbane’s lord mayor, Adrian Schrinner, is a graduate of the college, and state opposition frontbencher and former deputy leader, Fiona Simpson, is a parishioner of an affiliated church. One of Citipointe’s youth pastors, Daniel Myhill, worked in the office of the federal MP Luke Howarth last year, and the former state MP for Capalaba, Steve Davies, is a Citipointe member.

At the last state election, the LNP selected Citipointe pastor Janet Wishart to run in the local electorate of Mansfield. Her campaign posters were strung along the fence-line of the Citipointe campus and many of her volunteers were drawn from the church, including paid staff members.

Wishart now works in the office of the leader of the LNP opposition, David Crisafulli.

A church on campus via its governing body, the Christian Outreach Centre (branded publicly as the International Network of Churches) reports about $54m in annual income and $250m in assets.

Surely, there should and must be a probe into the use of government funding for this College particularly in the manner in which politics and teaching are conjoined and that staff are actually active politically within the College.

The links of funding between the College and the LNP must be made more transparent and also the nature of lobbying by the College. Would the Queensland government not see this as an abuse of power and process, and hence worth constituting it own anti-corruption inquiry into this ungodly nexus of monotheistic grab for power and its exercising of influence over young people?

And I get that it's probably a bit late finally doin' this post only 3 days before the March 19th 2022 election...(if we hope to affect the outcome, it probably is-Ed)...but I'd reckon that the few people who actually pay attention to this sort of thing and/or give half a damn...(of whom a much smaller sub-set may actually avail themselves of this 'ere blog-Ed)...indeed, but we do have a critical Federal Election looming just over the horizon...(due sometime in May 2022?-Ed)...at the latest, yep, so it is current and relevant...I mention Ben Hood 'cos he's the Liberal candidate for Mt Gambier, but what li'l I know of him personally doesn't improve my opinion of him...he's currently Vice President of the Liberal's SA Division and thinks Scott Morrison is terrific...since November 2018 he has been a Councillor on the rankly corrupt and Liberal dominated Mt Gambier City Council, intimately complicit in the litany of deliberate deceits and gross failings of Council...(wasn't he the Chair of the Recreation Hub Committee that deceived and manipulated Ratepayers regarding the supposed '$40million' but actually $80m+ project?-Ed)...in a nutshell, yes, and of course he was apparently absent when the critical final vote to proceed was taken in a 'closed' MGCC meeting...he's also notorious for harassing a female Councillor on social media...

I note that he's a 'Christian' but what exactly that means I don't know...I've seen him around town of course, and I'm still 'banned' from attending MGCC meetings, but my one real interaction with him tells me everything I need to know...as I was going into a cafe in the Main St (Commercial St) he was coming out...(ooo, I love this story-Ed)...settle petal...anyways, when he spotted me approaching he immediately dropped his gaze down and away and moved to get as far across the footpath as he could away from me...now we've never previously actually met, but he clearly recognised me, as I did him...I don't know the woman whom he was with, but in his desire to get the shreck away from me, he effectively placed that woman right between us...(ahaha, he hid behind a woman, he actually hid behind a woman-Ed)...well, yes, albeit perhaps not a deliberate conscious decision, but by his actions, yes, he hid behind the woman...(he hid behind a woman...big man in his Council ivory tower and/or abusing a woman on social media, etc, but when confronted with someone whom he knows, albeit only by reputation, but knows will not be bullied and will bring the unpleasant realities to any 'discussion', etc, he folded like an origami swan-Ed)...yes, yes, he did...

(Can I do my "I'm backing Ben Hood" jokes now?-Ed)...yeah go on, fire away...(well, I've seen several cars sporting said stickers, and it immediately appealed to my pun-addled mind-Ed)...how so?...(well, I'm glad you asked...firstly, in the motor vehicular idiom, there is of course "I'm backing-over Ben Hood"-Ed)...yeah, a tad violent for my liking, but in the interests of humour, sure...(and of course there's my personal favourite, "I'm bare-backing Ben Hood"-Ed)...ah, a reference to unprotected homosexual intercourse, nice one man...(yeah, that one's for all the haters in the 'faux-Christian' diaspora-Ed)...I'm sure they appreciate it...(and then a variation on that theme, "I'm broke-backing Ben Hood"-Ed)...being a reference to the gay cowboy love story movie Brokeback Mountain...(yep, and finally I went with a political connections one regarding our Federal member Tony Pasin-Ed)...and?...("I'm piggy-backing Ben Hood"-Ed)...mmm, a bit of a stretch, but politically accurate...say, did anyone sort out how MGCC 'Confidential' documents regarding the Recreation Hub ended-up with Tony Pasin?...(don't think so-Ed)...well, that's another story for another day... 

Today the story is as titled, namely, the current situation in Federal Politics and the openly promoted agenda of SA's Pentecostals/Fundamentalists, any vote for the Liberals/Nationals at any level is a vote for having these pseudo-Christians running your life, with all of the bigotry and inequality that entails...which brings us back to our mate Scummo...in the last 24 hrs Scummo has had the Pathological Liar Gas-Lighting bunsen burner dial turned-up to 'Heart of the Sun', claiming 1) that he's never changed his glasses, an attempted denigratory reference to Labor leader Anthony 'Eggs Over' Albanese...(but he recently changed them to a pair exactly like Eggsy's!-Ed)...yes, yes he did...2) he doesn't pretend to be things that he isn't...(so those daily performative photo-ops as a hairdresser, welder, truck driver, pilot, chef, aid worker, tank commander, daggy dad home handyman, etc, etc, ad infinitum, those are all just Scummo being the magnificently well-rounded Renaissance man that he is?-Ed)...absolutely, 100% genuine, not in the least bit sickening, cringe-worthy pantomime in lieu of actual governing...(well that's okay then, I mean, I was a bit worried that Scummo seems to be obsessed to the point of distraction with this relentless fakery, far more committed to creating his own faux-image and ramming it down our throats with an almost tactile sense of Narcissistic Rage, than to actually running the country to benefit us all, but if it's just Scotty being true to his true self, well, that's different-Ed)...yeahhh, riiight, anyhoos...

Anyhoos, 3) Scummo went crazy-ape bonkers today whilst in Western Australia, bare-facedly lying that he thinks WA Labor Premier Mark McGowan is a great bloke and that he, Scummo, has fully supported WA and always worked  really well with his BFF Marky, etc, etc...(but what the actual?! Scummo has repeatedly railed against all Labor-governed states during/regarding COVID19 lock-downs/restrictions/border closures, and most particularly against McGowan and WA, and also used $1million of Taxpayers' monies to help that corrupt pro-LNP operative nutter Clive 'Honest As My Waist Is Wide' Palmer try to sue the entire State over mining leases/access!!!-Ed)...yeah yeah, that was so last week... and the week before...and the week before that...and, well, every week going back several years, but we're looking through the windscreen now, not out the rear-view mirror...(did you just use one of Scummo's own inane gibberish catch-phrases to highlight both what a rank liar he is, and simultaneously mock his perpetual moronic jingoisms?-Ed)...erm, yes, and ummm, yeah, yeah I did...and that whole 'windscreen' spiel is classic Scummo, saying, 'I refuse to acknowledge and/or accept responsibility for my multiple/manifest gross failings, but prepare yourselves for another word-salad avalanche of announcements that I have absolutely no intention of delivering'...(unless of course it's further high-end tax cuts, and/or Jobkeeper payments to proffitable businesses, and/or other corporate welfare, all miraculously benefitting whoever supports/funds the LNP-Ed)...of course...

On Monday 7th March 2022 Scott 'Scummo' Morrison did a text-book lengthy Scummo word salad, fantasy land, dead cat  'announcement' about establishing a nuclear submarines base somewhere on the East coast...(I think he identified Brisbane, Port Kembla, and Newcastle?-Ed)...sounds about right...(none of which were in the top 5 listed potential sites in a Defense review on that exact topic a few years back-Ed)...indeed, and forget that we have royally screwed-up the French sub deal, costing $2-$4billion for diddly squat, and that we don't currently have a 'signed' deal for these USofA/British hybrid nuclear subs we're supposedly getting some time in the next 15-20 years...(yeah, just forget/ignore all that screaming incompetence and bewildering blizzard of vacuous announcements-Ed)...sure, apart from all that, Scummo did a big 'announcement' about these bases, but it is 100% absolute nonsense, 100% about trying to control the narrative, particularly to distract away from other issues about his deceits and failures...(ummm, "dead cat"?-Ed)...yeah, as just described, 'to fling a dead cat onto the table'...to take some irrelevant otherwise lifeless issue, a 'dead cat', and literally throw it onto the table/into the discourse/into the spotlight/whatevs, so as to hopefully shock/distract everyone from other actual issues...

As described, it was/is an absolute bullshit non-event fantasy excuse for Scummo to do yet another self-focussed 'announcement', designed and delivered to make it appear that he might actually be doing something ...(something other than faking COVID19 so he can hide-away from responsibility and accountability whilst lounging around in the lap of Taxpayer funded luxury-Ed)...oh, so you don't believe that he genuinely has/had COVID19?...(not for a moment!-Ed)...well, there's a lot to discuss there, but perhaps best left to another dedicated post...(why? it's very simple, the man's a pathological liar, and well prone to skiving-off at the least little excuse and/or disappearing/hiding when his latest failure flares-up in his face, what else is there to discuss?-Ed)...well, when you put it like that...(what, factually accurately? when I put it exactly as it is, exactly as he does conduct himself?-Ed)...yeah yeah, like that...anyhoos, with the subs base shizzle, that was equally motivated to distract away from multiple other issues, not least of all his/the LNP's abject failures to respond to the massive flood crisis...(which includes not just the immediate failures of rescue/recovery and support, etc, but also the refusal to accept Climate Change science-Ed)...which is clearly driving.magnifying these increasingly frequent 'freak/unprecedented events...(and the refusal/failure to use the $4billion Disaster Recovery Fund that's just sitting in the bank earning interest for the LNP-Ed)...so many things to distract away from...  

But as bad and as blatantly obvious as all that is, far worse was to come, as all that afternoon the ABC 24 News Radio ran a series of related interviews with various alleged experts, eg, about the positives of nuclear energy, etc, and local politicians regarding potential employment opportunities and other positives for local economies, etc...(but the whole thing was a blatant 'dead cat', and at best a detail-less, vacuous mind-fart-Ed)...and that's my point...the ABC took that blatantly obvious vacuum and furiously tried to pump it full of substance, furiously tried to give it some sort of credibility where otherwise none was present...(ah, I see, by dutifully reporting it and re-reporting it and interviewing and analysing and repeatedly discussing, etc, etc, ad infinitum, that relentless one-way supportive narrative builds that sense of credibility and substance where, as you say, otherwise none exists-Ed)...and it's transparently a deliberate strategy, a deliberate agenda....rather than rightly question the veracity of the farcical 'announcement', the ABC steadfastly did everything they could to do the exact opposite...(everything they could to give it credibility-Ed)...and for many listening, certainly those less familiar with or unawares of how these ABC manipulations are used to protect/promote the LNP, I would think that it likely had the desired effect...    

Then yesterday (Wednesday 9th March) Scummo dragged himself off of his death-bed and rocked-up to flood ravaged Lismore, but refusing to allow any media to get involved, stating that it wasn't appropriate to have media shoving their cameras in traumatised people's faces in this time of crisis and suffering...(sorry, what?! Scotty From Photo Ops didn't allow the media there? I find that very hard to believe for 2 reasons-Ed)...fire away...(well firstly, he's Scotty From Photo Ops, it's what he does, often all he actually does-Ed)...fair call, and secondly?....(secondly, the Main Stream Media are reliably pathetically pro-LNP complicit and aren't likely to ask anything other than soft-cock 'Dorothy Dixer' type questions, allowing Scummo and/or his Ministers to just pour-out any ol' dross without challenge, and usually wildly deceitful self-congratulatory dross-Ed)...all good points mate, and I absolutely concur, but on your first point, Scummo's Photo Ops are almost entirely carefully choreographed and involve his personal photographer...this week there's some clearly 'fake' photos of Can-Do Take-Charge Scummo supposedly directing flood responses by leaning over a desk and pointing at a map...(yeah, where he was pointing to the wrong part of NSW-Ed)...that's the one...(and didn't they also circulate a photo of him pouring over a big map, that turned-out to be an old photo from the Kangaroo Island bushfires in 2019/20, with the photo carefully cropped to chop-off the big 'Kangaroo Island' label across the top of the map?-Ed)...maybe...

And I say "maybe" 'cos there's a lotta' debate and very little proven fact about who has been releasing those photos, and/or why, but the more general discourse about Scotty From Photo Ops is already well-proven...(and hence generated that exact Twitter hashtag-Ed)...indeed, but with these specific 2 images there is less certainty...(and isn't that itself yet further confirmation of how untrustworthy Scummo is with these perpetual confected manipulations?-Ed)...how so?...(well, if he didn't have such a long and twisted record of sickening photo ops, eg, mindless curry-cooking selfies, family photos shamelessly re-hashed/reproduced years after being taken, etc, then any such allegation could/would likely be dismissed-Ed)...but he does have that reputation/record, remember?...in 2021 he re-posted an old photo, originally taken at the memorial service for several children killed in a terrible road accident, and put that up neatly cropped to be just him, Jen and The Girls (C), supposedly taken that Fathers Day...(precisely! that's his exact MO and so it goes that even a vague inference is enough to be deemed likely correct-Ed)...'cos that's what he does...('cos that's exactly what he does-Ed)...here's a most excellent link that includes those 2 photos, albeit does not clarify exactly who is re-circulating these photos and/or why...regardless though, those photos are typical carefully staged Scummo photo opportunities...

But we digress, 'cos, all that aside, secondly there's a wild card you haven't considered, a trump wild card if you will...(and that is?-Ed)...well remember what a PR disaster it was when Scummo flew back from his holiday in Hawaii, and went to fire-affected Cobargo and people yelled abuse at him and refused to shake his hand...(ah yeah, after his office lied in denying that he'd gone on holiday, and then he returned only to literally force that young pregnant woman to shake his hand, and that fire-fighter refused to shake his hand-Ed)...yeah all that, well do ya' reckon that the Photo Ops PM is gunna risk that happening again?...(well obviously not, nope-Ed)...absolutely nope, that's a negative narrative Scummo cannot control and is not gunna' risk/allow, so no media and he skulk's in via the Council's backdoor...the ABC Radio did manage though, in interviewing a coupla' locals, did manage to find someone who obligingly played-down the quite reasonable white-hot rage of many locals towards Scummo & Co...(of course they did-Ed)...the interviewee stating that whether it was Labor or Liberal in charge, people would always whinge about it...(wow-Ed)...and the third of the 3 interviewees stated that Scummo was a 'good and decent man because of his (Scummo's) religious beliefs/faith'...(OMG, what planet has that clown been living on? in what bizarro parallel reality is Scummo a decent human being?-Ed)...in god-botherer sky pilot land where 'faith' effortlessly trumps reality...(sounds more like the ravings of someone entirely removed from the political discourse-Ed)...well yeah, that too I'm sure, but the way the old white man was speaking, the god-botherer thing was front-and-centre...  

Now we did promise an example of the very rare tough questioning of the LNP by the ABC, or anyone in the MSM...(an exceptional example that effectively proves the rule-Ed)...well quite, and here 'tis...it's the oft-criticised Leigh Sales on ABC's 7.30 Report politely sticking it to Nationals leader and Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby 'Beetrooter' Joyce...

Some takes on this interview...many have criticised Beetrooter for being drunk in this interview and slurring his words, etc, but I think it's far worse than that...(well I reckon he was sober, that's the real issue here-Ed)...exactly...that's a pre-recorded interview from earlier in the day, and given that he's a chronic alcoholic, notorious for being perpetually rolling drunk...(not least of all in the middle of the afternoon on the floor of the Federal Parliament-Ed)...exactly, and chronic alcoholics do not function well when sober, they literally need a few drinks to get some sense of 'normality'...this is a very basic summation of a very complex issue, and all seething contempt and satirical joking aside, but I think the concerning reality here is that Barnyard was actually sober...he also tries to blame Greens/Lefties for opposing building new and/or enlarging current dams...(always some else's fault-Ed)..always and in all ways...

To conclude, a gentle reminder about the many, many times that 'Eggs Over' has started a press conference, only to be cut-off mid-sentence only minutes in...over and over and over, time and again, and in this instance the ABC has arguably been the most chronic offender...case in point, whilst I'm not 100% sure, but it sounded like they've just done it to him again just now...(yeah, he might have finished, maybe, but it did sound like he was part-way through a speech when they've cut to repeating other news items-Ed)...again, it's a case where a long-established pattern of behaviour immediately generates/justifies a sense of that behaviour being repeated...and again excuse me if I'm wrong, but they're now doing extensive examination of what 'Eggs Over' meant by saying such-and-such when addressing the Lowey Institute, and why he said that, etc, a discussion seemingly longer than the actual broadcast part of the speech...

Howdy dear availees...another super-short post just to direct y'all to this extraordinary piece if y'all ain't seen it yet...it's another excellent Friendly Jordies investigation into the bare-faced corruption of the Liberal/National Party, and simultaneously a seething indictment of the wholly complicitly corrupt Main Stream Media...as many others have noted, 1) if a coupla' blokes with a Youtube show can research and expose this corruption, why is it supposedly invisible to the MSM, and 2) how is it that 220,000 Aussies have watched this article and yet the MSM still haven't reported on it?...(and highly likely won't, 'cos, like you said the MSM is wholly corrupt and complicit-Ed)...exactly!...(I see one Twitter comment stating that they'd done a long interview with Channel 9's Sixty Minutes about the LNP lies and corruption on Papua New Guinea, specifically Manus Island, but that Ch9 Chair Peter Costello had quashed/axed that story-Ed)...yep, colour me not the least bit surprised...

Jordan Shanks (Friendly Jordies) has done dozens of exposes on people like New South Wales National Party (former) leader John 'Bruz' Barillaro, which incidentally saw the clearly politically-corrupted NSW Police supposed Anti-Terrorism section, the 'Fixated Persons Unit' raid FJ's producers house, complete with kicking the dog and knocking his mum down...however, this article is a whole 'nother level of Institutionalised LNP Corruption, including a Federal government department directly  paying dodgy invoices for an even dodgier PNG company; Minister Linda Reynolds excusing expenditure on Manus Is by identifying a military facility there that doesn't actually exist; multiple dodgy contracts related to Peter Dutton; etc...I'm not sure that it's what FJ was referring or even vaguely alleging, whatevs, but the stuff about drug use struck me as a common theme with Peter Dutton and his vast unexplained wealth since becoming a Federal Minister...maybe it's just me, watch the article and make-up your own minds...

Just as a quick but relevant aside about how pro-LNP corrupt the Oz MSM is...last week there was a Rail 'stoppage' in NSW, and the media were very quick to sling blame and abuse at the Unions, reporting it as a "strike"...as was quickly established, the workers/Union(s?) involved had fully intended to work but 'protest about wages' by not charging commuters, and that it was the NSW Liberal government that pulled the plug, literally at the last hour, and shut-down the entire system/service...wholly corrupt Editors like Bevan Shields of the Sydney Morning Herald dutifully spewed their complicit pro-LNP deceits into the public realm...(and are we focussing on Bevo, mate, 'cos it's been proven that some of his own journos contacted him to question the notion that it was a 'strike', that rather it was a 'shut-down', and that Bevo, mate, dismissed those concerns and directed all reportage to be about "a strike"?-Ed)...yeah, and then after more than a week of being outed on Twitter, Bevo, mate, having directed multiple knowingly false front-page headlines, Bevo did a piss-warm luke-weak pseudo-apology hidden deep in the bowels of the SMH...the whole incident, which caused massive disruption for 100,000s of commuters, was a deliberate LNP political stunt to justify attacking the Unions...

And everything indicates that PM Scott 'Scummo' Morrison was fully involved if not directly responsible, 'cos he immediately jumped into his "blame Labor" rhetoric and used it to attack Federal Labor with reference to the upcoming Federal Election and how Labor is controlled by the Unions and this is what happens/will happen, etc, etc...(mate, I reckon that the whole thing reeks of Scummo's handiwork, and given that he's just railroaded/shafted the NSW Liberal executive to force his own candidates into seats for the Election, I reckon that it was Scummo at the helm-Ed)...wouldn't surprise me, would not surprise me in the least...in fact, now that you mention it, I don't think NSW Premier Perottet has got the smarts, I don't think any of the NSW LNP have...(not collectively they don't-Ed)...indeed, whatevs, it was clearly a deeply cynical and corrupt LNP set-up designed to provide a platform to attack Labor and the Unions, and the MSM was wholly compliant and complicit in spreading that exact albeit false narrative...

Howdy dear availees...a whiles back we posted about the most excellent work of Vince O'Grady and his website thevogfiles.com, where-in he'd delved into the murky porky barrel of Liberal/National Party rorts and other politically motivated funding disparities...well, Mr O'Grady has clearly been hard at it, and has produced another expanded exploration of the LNP's handiwork...it's a lengthy thread with heaps of graphs and associated info to digest, but the overall pattern is immediately obvious and damning...here's the link...

That's all I wanted to do with this post, but we'll return later today/early tomorrow with a post about the South Australian State Election...my only observation really is that the one 'program' that is vaguely balanced in it's distribution is 'no.4 - Safer Communities', which, as identified, is targetted at 'religious communities', which ties-in with PM Scott 'Scummo' Morrison's own religious bent...(I'd be interested to know what percentage of that funding went to Pentecostal/Fundamentalist churches as opposed to other denominations-Ed)...indeed...

And why voting Liberal/National is effectively agreeing to have the Pentecostal/Fundamentalist Christians shoving their bigotted, regressive god-botherer agenda down our collective throats...(legally and enforceably-Ed)...exactly, via the State Parliament and therefore via 'the law'...
